The son of the woman who created "Weeds" and "Orange Is the New Black" tragically died after crashing into a sign on the ski slopes ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Charlie Noxon was skiing down the intermediate run in Park City when he came upon a fork. We're told Noxon had two choices -- left or right. Our sources say Noxon was unable to successfully navigate the move and instead slammed into a direction sign.

We're told Noxon was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision. Our sources say there were no witnesses and no surveillance video. Our law enforcement sources say they based their findings on where the body was found. Noxon was skiing alone at the time of the accident. His family was ahead of him on the ski run.

Kelly Dodd is unsure why folks on the Internet are so triggered by her photo with Donald Trump's sons ... saying all Americans need to embrace people with different views.

The 'Real Housewives of Orange County' star joined us on "TMZ Live" Thursday, defending her decision to snap a photo alongside Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump and questioning why it's got people in such a huff.

Ricki Lake's sporting a huge grin just one day after revealing her struggle with hair loss and depression ... and it's all thanks to a flood of support.

We got the "Hairspray" star and former talk show host Thursday at LAX to get her response to her revelation on New Year's Day, about struggling with hair loss for most of her adult life.

You'll recall Ricki posted a picture on Instagram and revealed the new buzz-cut hairdo. The story behind the new hairdo was both heart-wrenching and inspiring. As we reported ... Ricki said struggling through decades of hair loss was "debilitating, embarrassing, painful, scary, depressing" and "lonely." It got so bad ... Ricki says she felt suicidal over it.

New York Yankees pitcher Domingo German was just hit with an 81-game suspension ... this after the MLB concluded its investigation into allegations he committed domestic violence.

German was placed on administrative leave back in September after Major League Baseball was notified the 27-year-old had allegedly been involved in an altercation with his significant other.

Details of the allegations are unclear -- no police report was ever filed -- but what is known is the MLB clearly found the accusations to be credible.

"Having reviewed all of the available evidence," commissioner Rob Manfred said Thursday, "I have concluded that Mr. German violated our Policy and that discipline is appropriate."

According to the MLB, German will NOT appeal the punishment ... and has agreed to make a contribution to "Sanctuary for Families" -- a New York-area charity helping victims of domestic violence -- in addition to serving the ban.

Per multiple reports, the 81-game suspension is one of the most aggressive penalties EVER levied against an MLB player for dom. violence.

The suspension is retroactive ... meaning since German missed 18 games for the alleged incident in 2019, he'll only be required to sit the first 63 games of next season.

"Domestic violence — in any form — is a gravely serious matter that affects every segment of our society," the Yankees said in a statement. "Major League Baseball has taken the lead in our industry to make domestic violence awareness and prevention a priority, and we will continue to back those efforts."

"We are encouraged by Domingo’s acceptance of his discipline, and we sincerely hope this indicates a commitment to making a meaningful and positive change in his personal conduct."

A titan in the music biz is threatening a Guns N' Roses superfan with a huge lawsuit ... claiming the guy leaked a ton of the band's unreleased songs over the internet.

Here's the deal ... Guns N' Roses claims Rick Dunsford leaked 97 previously unreleased songs over the web after obtaining the recordings from a storage unit auction, and UMG -- which owns the copyrights -- is threatening to sue him for a ton of money.

UMG's legal team fired off a cease and desist letter to Rick -- obtained by TMZ -- claiming Dunsford violated an earlier settlement agreement in which UMG paid him $15k to return the recordings.

The dispute traces its roots back to when Guns N' Roses' former A&R guy Tom Zutaut auctioned off a storage unit filled with digital recordings of GNR music from 2000 and 2001.

Ozzy Osbourne is not waiting to die ... he's still living large and his wife says they've got huge plans on deck in the new year.

We got the Black Sabbath frontman and Sharon Osbourne out on New Year's Day, filling up their Rolls-Royce at a gas station ... and the rocker looked anything but bedridden.

Nick Gordon had some sort of black fluid foaming out of his mouth when someone called 911 ... and he wasn't breathing.

TMZ has obtained the Florida dispatch audio and it raises questions about the cause of death.

The 911 call came in as "cardiac respiratory" on New Year's Day. As we reported, Nick was rushed to the hospital where he died.

A man claiming to be Nick's brother said Nick died of an apparent OD, and the "black stuff" could support that conclusion. Black discharge is sometimes related to a "foam cone" that comes out of the mouth and nostrils after an opioid OD.

The medical examiner will conduct an autopsy -- possibly Thursday -- and the toxicology results should be available in about 3 weeks.

TMZ broke the story ... Nick was present when Whitney Houston's daughter and his girlfriend -- Bobbi Kristina -- OD'd in a bathtub in 2015. He was found civilly liable for her death and the cops investigated him in connection with her death for years, but he was never charged, and the investigation was still ongoing when he died.

A Chinese Basketball Association coach slapped the hell out of a heckler during a game Wednesday after the man allegedly screamed at the coach's wife ... and video of the incident is wild.

During the Jiangsu Dragons' tilt with the Liaoning Flying Leopards in Nanjing on New Year's Day, a fan was clearly causing a scene from his courtside seat.

Cameras caught the guy making a gesture toward one of the players ... and later, they appeared to show the man screaming toward a woman believed to be Dragons coach Memi Becirovic's wife.

You can see in the clip, Becirovic didn't handle the situation very well at all ... 'cause at some point during the 3rd quarter, he straight-up walked up to the fan and slapped him in the face!!

The fan fell backward ... and both parties needed to be restrained. Eventually, both the coach and the man were ejected from the game.

It's unclear if Becirovic will face further punishment from the CBA over the altercation.

Gene Simmons' disturbing revelation he puts ice cubes is hardly shrouded in mystery ... dude doesn't like warm milk.

The KISS rocker got a rise on Twitter New Year's Day by sharing his weird eating habit, with reactions ranging from bewilderment and disgust to admiration and relief ... the relief coming from the fact he wasn't trending because he died.

Turns out, Gene's been doing this for decades, and we're told he thinks it's a smart way to keep his milk icy cold. We're told he also adds ice cubes to hot foods -- like soup and ramen -- to cool 'em down. Genius.

His son, Nick, replied to his tweet -- which also strangely shows a bowl of Oreo O's and shredded wheat cereal mixed together -- saying he's been watching his dad do this for 30 years and adding ... "This is my life."

We're told Nick and Gene's daughter, Sophie, have always given him a hard time for his ice cube ways ... and Sophie's the one who encouraged him to tweet about it to see what everyone thinks.

Consensus -- yeah, it's weird man. However, some people accepted it and even offered tips to improve the practice ... like using milk ice cubes instead of regular ones so it keeps the milk cold but doesn't water it down.

Teresa Giudice's marriage to Joe apparently got off on the wrong foot 20 years ago ... because she claims he forced her to sign a prenup.

"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star made the revelation on Wednesday night's episode as she and her husband had a heated argument over the phone ... while Joe was in ICE custody.

Teresa shouted, "You made me sign a prenup, okay?" and later claimed in a confessional he asked her to sign it a week before they tied the knot ... much to her dismay. She said, "I just felt when you love someone, you don't do that."

Teresa went on to say she considered calling off the wedding over it, but decided instead to sign the prenup under one condition -- she made him add a clause stating if he ever cheated ... the prenup was off.

Damon Dash says Aaliyah wanted absolutely nothing to do with R. Kelly after they pulled the plug on their controversial marriage back in the day.

TMZ's obtained this clip of Damon's interview on the soon-to-be-released Lifetime documentary, "Surviving R. Kelly Part II: The Reckoning" ... and the music insider makes some bombshell revelations about Aaliyah's life after Kelly.

Damon famously dated Aaliyah after she split from R. Kelly ... and now he says the singer wanted to keep Kelly "the f*** away" from her following the annulment.

As we've reported ... R. Kelly's former tour manager, Demetrius Smith, says he unwittingly and regretfully helped Kelly and Aaliyah tie the knot, by getting the 15-year-old a fake ID the day before the wedding ... a claim R. Kelly just denied in court.

Damon says it's disgusting Kelly would marry a child.

Not much is known about Aaliyah's feelings regarding Kelly -- she died way too young -- so Damon's claims are pretty shocking.

Bill Belichick was asked straight-up if he had given any thought to Saturday being possibly his last game EVER with Tom Brady -- and ya gotta watch the way he handles the question.

Of course, The Hoodie didn't give any bombshell answer -- it was the usual Belichick deflection -- but it's interesting to see him faced with the reality this weekend could be the end of the Patriots' dynasty.

Belichick and Brady have been dominating the NFL ever since TB12 took the Pats' starting QB reins in 2001 ... but at 42 years old, there's a lot of speculation Tom won't be under center for New England next season.

As for Bill, he's 67 years old and hasn't exactly guaranteed he'll return to Foxboro in 2020 either.

So, a reporter asked the coach bluntly Thursday if he had given any thought to Saturday's game against the Tennessee Titans being the Brady-Belichick finale.

Belichick's response? "Yeah, we're focused on the Titans. That's really -- that's all I'm focused on. So, do everything we can to get ready to go and play the best game we can play Saturday night."

If playoff history's an indicator, the Patriots will likely roll through Tennessee -- and there will be more Belichick and Brady playoff games coming.

Fallon, his wife, Nancy, and 2 daughters spent New Year's at the Happiest Place on Earth. They grinned ear-to-ear while hopping on tons of rides. They also went shopping.

Augustus Sol Invictus -- the guy who ran for U.S. Senate and once claimed he killed a goat and drank its blood -- has been arrested in Florida on a slew of charges including kidnapping.

Invictus was busted Monday for kidnapping, aggravated domestic violence and possession of a firearm used during a crime. The 36-year-old Orlando-based lawyer had been wanted in South Carolina on a fugitive warrant. Exact details of his alleged crimes are unknown.

According to the Miami Herald, Invictus was arrested at a mall in Melbourne, Florida. The media outlet reports he's being held without bond.

Invictus first made headlines in 2016 when he ran as a Libertarian candidate and challenged for Marco Rubio's Senate seat. During his failed campaign bid, Invictus claimed he slaughtered a goat and drank its blood as part of a pagan ritual.

The failed politician made headlines again in 2017 when he spoke at the "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, Virginia. Invictus has denied being a white nationalist.

Ruff day for the lads at Sheffield United ... who were getting ready for their big Premier League showdown with Liverpool on Thursday when a dog ran onto the field at Stanley Park and peed all over a practice cone!

At first, the players seemed a bit confused as to why the dog was there -- but when the 4-legged fan lifted his leg and opened fire, you can hear the whole team crack up laughing.

Funny moment ... but now, they've gotta focus quick -- Liverpool is #1 in the Premier League. They're 18-0-1 on the season so far and look unstoppable.

Meanwhile, Sheffield United is in 8th place ... they're 7-5-8 this season, but they've won 3 out of their last 5.

American actor Jacob Reynolds is best known for playing glue-huffing Solomon -- who hangs around and huffs glue with the downright evil teenager, Tummler played by Nick Sutton -- in Harmony Korine's 1997 cult masterpiece, "Gummo."
