Ex-NFL star Vontae Davis seemed to be sound asleep on the side of a highway near two wrecked vehicles after he was accused of drunkenly crashing his Tesla during an accident on Saturday morning ... new photos, obtained by TMZ Sports, show.

In the pictures -- snapped just minutes after Davis allegedly rammed his ride into the back of a Toyota truck in Broward County, Fla. -- you can see Davis appeared to be unconscious on the pavement.

Wearing a mint-green corduroy set with his shoes still on, the 34-year-old former Indianapolis Colts defensive back was balled up with his head laying in his hands and his eyes closed.

A witness tells us that even as people moved around him -- including first responders, a clean-up crew and police -- Davis remained fast asleep ... until cops woke him up and put him in a squad car.

In Florida Highway Patrol dash cam footage we obtained, you can see Davis appeared to be having trouble staying awake there too.

During questioning, the two-time Pro Bowler seemed to fade in and out of consciousness ... and when one officer eventually began telling him why he was being arrested for DUI -- the cop said, "Your eyes are bloodshot. Your speech is slurred. You can barely stay awake. All right? You almost killed somebody."

Other photos from the scene we obtained show just how fortunate everyone is to have come away from the wreck alive -- you can see in the pics, Davis' Tesla was mangled ... as was the back of the Toyota.

Davis did admit to cops he had drank two "mixed drinks" before getting behind the wheel, but he said he had no recollection of the car accident.

The former football player, who spent 10 seasons in the NFL from 2009 to 2018, was ultimately arrested and booked on a charge of DUI.

Jerry "The King" Lawler is recovering after suffering a "massive stroke" on Monday ... and although his speech is limited, he's expected to make a full recovery with rehabilitation.

A rep for Lawler provided a health update on Wednesday ... after fans spent the last two days concerned for the 73-year-old WWE legend following his recent health scare.

Lawler, who has a history of heart issues, gave a thumbs up from a Fort Myers, FL hospital where he's recovering ... a welcome sight for WWE fans.

Jerry also got a visit from WWE icon Jimmy Hart, best known for his work as a pro wrestling manager, musician, and composer ... and the guys took a picture together.

As we reported earlier on Wednesday, Lawler's longtime friend and broadcast partner, Jim Ross, also gave an update, saying Jerry was trending in the right direction, but encouraged people to still pray for him.

JR said he spoke briefly with Lawler, and could tell his speech was affected by the stroke, but he was confident his friend would bounce back.

"Jerry’s prognosis is positive but he needs all our thoughts and prayers," Ross tweeted.

Unfortunately, this isn't Jerry's first health scare ... in 2012, he went into cardiac arrest on an episode of Monday Night Raw. He also suffered a stroke in 2018.

Michael Irvin will no longer be one of the faces of NFL Network's Super Bowl coverage this week -- the former Dallas Cowboys star who's turned into a huge TV personality has been pulled from shows following an incident he had with a woman in Arizona on Sunday night.

Irvin told the Dallas Morning News the encounter happened at a hotel in Glendale -- the site of this weekend's SB LVII -- after he had returned to the property following a night out on the town.

Irvin says he spoke with the woman for roughly 45 seconds in the lobby -- and described it all as an almost entirely non-physical interaction.

The woman, though, according to the DMN, launched a complaint about Irvin's actions -- leading to the NFLN pulling him from their coverage on Tuesday.

Irvin says he's been left "perplexed" by it all -- explaining to the outlet it was such an innocuous conversation, he hardly even remembered it.

"When I got back after going out … I came into the lobby, and I talked to somebody," Irvin said. "I talked to this girl. I don't know her, and I talked to her for about 45 seconds."

"We shook hands. Then, I left. … That’s all I know."

He added, "I don’t really recall that conversation, to tell you the truth. We were out drinking. It was just a friendly conversation. ‘What’s up?’ I don’t even know. … I am totally perplexed."

An NFL Network exec confirmed to TMZ Sports Irvin will not be a part of the station's SB coverage this week. But, it remains unclear what the woman alleges Irvin said or did during their meetup -- as Irvin adamantly denied any wrongdoing.

"What law did I break?" Irvin said according to the Dallas Morning News. "There was definitely nothing physical. … That’s honestly all that happened. Nobody was in my room. It was a 45-second conversation in the lobby, a handshake and we left. … I don’t know. I don’t know what this is, and it’s running me crazy."

Star athletes weren't the only ones going crazy for LeBron James after becoming the NBA's all-time scoring leader ... so were A-list celebrities like Drake, Lil Wayne, Kendrick Lamar, and one of his biggest fans, Rihanna!

In fact, Ri-Ri, Drake, and Kendrick's toast to King James was shared in a video montage after he passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's scoring record on Tuesday.

"I am so grateful to witness this moment in history," Rihanna said in the clip.

"My favorite thing about being a LeBron James fan is just watching you prove yourself over and over again, against all odds and all doubt."

"Thank you for reppin' for all of us. Keep striving for greatness always and congratulations King James!"

Drake -- who was holding a basketball in the video (of course) -- called it a "legendary night in NBA history" while Kendrick applauded him for silencing the haters.

"From the time you went to the league when you had the doubters and the naysayers and people that think you wouldn't take it this far, you've proved 'em wrong dog," Lamar said.

Wayne saluted Bron on Twitter ... the "Hustler Musik" rapper wrote, "Kongrats King!! Glad to say I’ve shaken your hand brudda. God bless you and the fam and the homies."

Outside the musicians, NBA stars Steph Curry, Kevin Durant and Trae Young also gave the 4x champ his flowers, as well as Lakers legend and former exec, Magic Johnson.

"I want to personally thank you LeBron for trusting & believing in me & the Lakers in 2018 when I was president of basketball operations," Johnson said in a tweet.

"Everything you said you would do, you’ve done; led the Lakers to a championship, elevated the Lakers brand, & gave back to the city of LA!"

NFL players also chimed in, including Odell Beckham Jr. who shared a photo of the exact moment James took the shot that made history.

Of course, LeBron partied the night away after becoming the NBA's all-time scoring leader -- hitting up The Fleur Room in West Hollywood with his wife, Savannah, and friends.

First Lady Jill Biden may have played her husband's hand when it comes to the 2024 ticket ... and it all comes down to a kiss.

Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff was in the VIP section of the House, up in the gallery when the First Lady arrived. She planted a friendly kiss, smack on Doug's lips, which has now become a thing on social media.

The smooch is an old-fashioned, polite gesture for sure, but there could be political implications as well.

There have been rumblings within the Democratic Party about the Veep's fate as JB circles a 2nd bid for POTUS, which he's expected to announce in a couple weeks. Some Dems think Harris would be a drag on the ticket and want him to dump her and go with a new running mate.

Now it's certainly possible we and others may be reading too much into the kiss, but Jill and Joe know what time it is ... they've certainly been around long enough to know image matters. The fact that Jill gave Doug a Kay Jewelers greeting suggests the Prez and the Veep are tight ... making a ticket change less likely.

The celebration of LeBron James' new scoring record Tuesday night didn't end at Crypto.com Arena .... several of the Lakers star's teammates -- as well as a host of other celebs -- were seen hitting an L.A. hotspot after the game to keep the party for the King rollin'.

Patrick Beverley, Rui Hachimura and Thomas Bryant were all spotted following L.A.'s loss to the Thunder, piling into The Fleur Room in West Hollywood to honor LBJ and his new all-time NBA points mark.

Bron's agent, Rich Paul, as well as Karrueche Tran, Kelly Rowland, Jimmy Iovine and Corey Gamble were also seen making their way into the venue.

James and his wife, Savannah, eventually got there as well -- and the two gave emotional speeches to the crowd in attendance.

Savannah spoke first, congratulating her hubby on all his hard work. James then took the mic, and dedicated the accomplishment to his family and friends.

The fiesta seemed like a blast ... there was a custom cake with LeBron's face all over it -- and even a stuffed goat!!!

Of course, LBJ and the guys had plenty of reason to celebrate despite the 133-130 defeat ... 'Bron broke a Kareem Abdul-Jabbar record that had stood since 1984.

James needed 36 points heading into the night to get the new all-time mark of 38,388 -- and he got them before the 3rd quarter ended with a fadeaway jump shot.

A-listers were all over the arena to watch the historic moment -- everyone from Jay-Z to Bad Bunny to Usher, Floyd Mayweather and Dwyane Wade had courtside seats.

All of the celebs appeared to be in awe after James scored the bucket -- Usher and Floyd, who were sitting next to each other, were all smiles. Jay-Z was, too.

'Bron addressed the crowd in the seconds after breaking the record -- thanking everyone for helping him in his career. He ended his speech in fitting fashion, exhaling, "F***, man."

Sen. Kyrsten Sinema has a warning for DC -- or, at least, that's what her bold dress choice for the State of the Union address seems to scream ... 'cause it didn't do well at the polls.

The Senator from Arizona rocked a bright yellow dress with huge ruffle sleeves Tuesday night for President Biden's speech -- an obvious, eye-grabbing contrast to her fellow members of Congress who largely opted for black and navy business attire.

If she was looking for attention, Twitter gave her plenty.

One user wrote, "Kyrsten Sinema……tell me you’re desperate for attention without telling me you’re desperate for attention."

Others mocked her evening attire ... comparing her to the distinguished gentleman from Sesame Street, sharing a ton of memes and calling her out for confusing the political affair with the Grammys.

Another viewer wrote, "I feel so bad for every DEM who voted for Kyrsten Sinema. Can you imagine not being able to get a refund for THAT?"

Sinema ditched the Democratic Party last year, declaring herself an Independent -- so, maybe the yellow was her visual middle ground between red and blue??? 🤷🏽‍♂️

Rep. Nancy Pelosi says she isn't hearing so much as a peep from across the aisle when it comes to apologies for Republican conspiracy theories about the attack on her husband, Paul Pelosi.

We got the former Speaker of the House Wednesday morning in D.C. on the heels of President Biden's State of the Union address -- where both Pelosis were front and center -- and asked if anyone in the GOP has shown contrition for fueling misinformation about her husband ... especially after the brutal body cam was released.

As it turns out ... nobody has, according to NP -- who also gave us an update on Paul's recovery in general. Sounds like things are looking up, and he's almost on the other side of this. He certainly looked good at the SOTU ... cozying up to Bono in the balcony seats.

When it comes to this apology, though -- it's telling that no Republican has circled back to correct the record, including Sen. Ted Cruz, who was one of those spreading fake news.

Back in October -- shortly after the attack -- he was one of several right-wing politicians suggesting things weren't as they seemed on paper ... even hinting Paul might have known the attacker, David DePape.

Of course, that has since been debunked -- it was nothing more than a break-in/assault which prosecutors say was politically motivated. And Paul was most definitely brutalized, as seen in the since-released video showing the moment officers came to the door.

But, Pelosi says none of that's moved her congressional comrades to offer the slightest mea culpa.

Ron Jeremy isn't going before a jury to face rape charges, because he's being shipped off to a mental hospital ... where he could spend the rest of his days.

The former porn star -- who'd been hit with a 30-count indictment alleging rape, sexual assault and other related crimes -- was committed to a state-run mental hospital in California ... this after being deemed unfit to stand trial.

A judge signed off on Jeremy's fate last month -- ruling that his cognitive ability was in a state of such decline that he couldn't facilitate his own defense.

He can be held for up to two years at the facility ... and there will be periodic checkups to see if his condition improves. The first hearing on his progress is scheduled for early May.

As we reported ... during a hearing last month the judge was informed, after a battery of tests Jeremy was diagnosed with dementia.

They left the door open to continue pursuing charges against him if his condition improves, but for now ... he'll remain at the facility.

Tyre Nichols' mom is hopeful Congress will make good on what came across as a promise during President Biden's State of the Union address ... but she's reiterating it's time for them to finally act on real police reforms.

We caught up with RowVaughn Wells on Capitol Hill Tuesday night, shortly after the President delivered his State of the Union address ... in which he referenced the fatal beating her son endured at the hands of Memphis cops last month.

RowVaughn tells us she's very appreciative of the President's strong message Tuesday night ... saying now it's all about putting forth action.

Given the reaction in Congress after the Prez speech, she says it looks like something might really change this time around. However, she says "we'll just wait to see" -- a point Ben Crump, who is representing the Nichols family also reinforced.

As you know Tyre was beaten by multiple Memphis PD officers so badly during a Jan. 7 traffic stop ... he died 3 days later in a hospital bed.

Since his death, police have released gruesome video of the brutal beating ... which stirred outrage and multiple peaceful protests across the country.

Five Black officers were immediately fired, and later charged with second-degree murder.

Other firefighters and officers who responded to the scene without rendering timely assistance to Tyre have also been fired, but no one else has been criminally charged.

Tyre's family has vowed to join the renewed push for legislators to pass the George Floyd Justice in Policing act ... which was defeated in a 2021 Senate vote.

Senator Mitt Romney showed his utter contempt for Congressman George Santos -- telling the lyin' rep from New York his mere presence at the event -- especially where he was sitting -- proves he's shameless.

A visibly angry Romney walked into the House Chambers and crossed paths with Santos, who was all smiles. Romney launched, telling Santos, "You don't belong here," adding, "You ought to be embarrassed."

Santos seemed a bit taken aback, but shook it off and then tried to glad-hand anyone who would walk by.

Santos was one of the first to arrive on the House floor, grabbing a spot near where the President enters the Chamber.

After Biden's speech, Romney told reporters ... "I didn’t expect that he’d be standing there, trying to shake hands with every senator and the President of the United States."

Romney also said Santos "should be sitting in the back row and staying quiet, instead of parading in front of the President and people coming into the room."

On top of that, Romney said Santos would "hopefully" get removed from Congress after the House Ethics Committee completes its investigation into George's many lies about his background, education and charity work.

Santos also faces multiple federal and state probes looking into his possible campaign finance law violations. He has refused to step down despite many calls for him to do so.

While conservatives are up in arms about Sam Smith and Kim Petras' hell-themed performance of "Unholy" at the Grammys ... the Church of Satan is unimpressed.

David Harris, magister for the Church of Satan, tells TMZ ... Sam and Kim's performance was "alright" and "nothing particularly special."

Harris, who's pretty high up in the Church of Satan (kinda like a cardinal), says the imagery evoked in Sam and Kim's set is similar to what folks have already seen from other artists -- red clothing, fire and devil horns -- and it's all kind of passé now.

Of course, politicians like Senator Ted Cruz and Congresswomen Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert had entirely different takeaways ... as they railed against the Grammy night act, calling it evil.

MTG and Boebert's anti-Sam/Kim tweets referenced The Satanic Temple -- a different group from the Church of Satan -- but Harris is firing back on behalf of all Satanists, telling us ... "It's sad when politicians on a national stage use someone's religion as a punchline."

Ironically, he says Cruz, MTG and Boebert are a bunch of "delicate snowflakes."

Political bickering aside, the Church of Satan says Lil Nas X's music video for "Montero" was actually much more proactive than anything Sam or Kim did, at least in a satanic sense.

For the uninitiated ... Satanists don't actually worship Satan, nor do they believe in God or the Devil. They're opposed to anything supernatural and all spirituality, and with no belief in the afterlife, Satanists emphasize being your true self, personal achievement and living life to the fullest ... with one of the key tenants being individuals are their own Gods.

It's why the Church of Satan says Lil Nas X's "Montero" is much more in line with their philosophies ... in the music vid, LNX descends into hell, murders Satan and takes the devil's crown for himself.

LeBron James is officially the NBA's all-time leading scorer ... the Lakers superstar passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the most points logged in league history on Tuesday night.

James accomplished the feat against the Oklahoma City Thunder ... in front of a Crypto.com Arena crowd that featured a slew of celebs and former athletes -- including Abdul-Jabbar himself.

Jay-Z, Floyd Mayweather, Dwyane Wade, Shannon Sharpe, Usher and Bad Bunny were all there too.

LBJ needed 36 points to pass Kareem heading into the game ... and after scoring 20 in the first half, he got the rest in the third quarter.

A fadeaway jumper earned him the record -- and the game was stopped so James could be honored. During the break, James was swarmed by his family members and friends -- as a hype video for James played on the arena's jumbotron.

Commissioner Adam Silver also spoke at center court following the record-breaking basket ... telling LeBron, "You are the NBA's all-time scoring leader. Congratulations." Abdul-Jabbar then passed a basketball to the future Hall of Famer, and gave him a hug.

James wiped away tears, before he took the mic and thanked the crowd in attendance. He finished his thank you speech by saying, "F***, man!"

The record is a monumental one -- after Kareem set it in 1984 ... many believed it would never be touched again. But James got the 38,388 that he needed in the 1,410th game of his career -- accomplishing the feat in 150 games less than KAJ did.

James was as consistent as one could possibly be in his chase for the record -- never averaging less than 20.9 points per game in a season. In fact, in his 20th NBA season this year, the 38-year-old is averaging 30 points per game.

'Real Housewives' star Teresa Giudice is down a set of wheels ... her Mercedes-Benz was stolen from her New Jersey estate, and now police are working to get the whip back.

Sources with direct knowledge of the investigation tell TMZ ... Teresa's luxury car was stolen overnight Monday, when intruders came onto her $3.35 million property in Montville, NJ and drove off with her Benz.

Our sources say police were called and cops are currently investigating the incident, as well as working to get the car back to the 'RHONJ' star.

As for which Mercedes was stolen, that's unclear ... Teresa has had a G-Wagon for a while, but her hubby, Luis, gifted her a white Benz sedan for Christmas in 2021 when they were still engaged.

The good news ... law enforcement already has some early leads, because we're told there is surveillance video from Teresa's home capturing the crime and the suspects on camera.

Madonna is firing back at the haters who made fun of the way her face looked at the Grammys ... she says it's degrading and reeks of ageism and misogyny.

The pop star posted a lengthy social media rant Tuesday, addressing the jokes that were flying online during the Grammys, when she introduced Kim Petras and Sam Smith before they performed their Grammy-winning song "Unholy."

Madonna says the folks judging her physical appearance are focusing on the wrong thing -- Kim was the first trans woman to perform at the Grammys -- and she says the photos were "taken with a long lens camera by a press photographer that would distort anyone's face!!"

She says it's just the latest example of her being "caught in the glare of ageism and misogyny that permeates the world we live in."

64-year-old Madonna says anyone making wisecracks are part of a bigger problem ... she says our society refuses to celebrate women over the age of 45 and feels the need to punish women who, like her, are strong-willed, hard-working and adventurous.

Madonna's really digging in her heels ... saying she's never apologized for the way she looks or dresses and she sure as heck isn't going to start now.

While it was mostly Twitter users hurling insults, Madonna adds ... "I have been degraded by the media since the beginning of my career but I understand that this is all a test and I am happy to do the trailblazing so that all the women behind me can have an easier time in the years to come."

Madonna's also channeling another big winner from the Grammys, saying ... "In the words of Beyoncé 'You won't break my soul.'"

Don't expect Madonna to shy away from the cameras, long lenses or otherwise ... she says she looks forward to many more years of subversive behavior, pushing boundaries, standing up to the patriarchy and enjoying her life.
