Roman Polanski Denied by The Oscars ... You're a Freakin' Fugitive!!!

Published

Roman Polanski can't use the courts to sneak back into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences ... at least according to Academy's lawyers.

In its response to Polanski's lawsuit -- claiming the Oscar org booted him without proper notice -- the Academy says the disgraced director has no right to use the very same legal system he's been evading since 1978.

He famously fled the U.S. before he could be sentenced after pleading guilty to one count of sex with a minor.

In the docs, the Academy says Polanski's lawsuit -- in which he also demands re-entry to the group -- should be tossed. The Academy also says it did everything by the book when it expelled him.

Bottom line ... Polanski won't be voting on the Oscars anytime soon.

Kellen Winslow Jr. Convicted Of Rape Judge Declares Mistrial On Remaining Charges

Published

6/11 11:26 AM PT -- The judge has declared a mistrial on the remaining 8 charges ... saying the jury was deadlocked and unable to reach a verdict.

It's unclear if prosecutors intend to retry the case.

Ex-NFL star Kellen Winslow Jr. has just been found GUILTY of forcible rape -- along with lewd conduct and indecent exposure -- and he's now facing serious prison time.

A jury deliberated in a San Diego courthouse for the past week before reaching a verdict Monday on 4 of the 12 counts he's facing ... finding Winslow guilty on 3 of the 4, including the forcible rape of 58-year-old Jane Doe #2.

He was also found guilty of indecent exposure to Jane Doe #3 and guilty of lewd conduct regarding Jane Doe #5.

He was found NOT GUILTY on a second lewd conduct charge regarding Jane Doe #5.

35-year-old Winslow was initially arrested back in June 2018. Officials say he kidnapped and raped 2 transient women in 2 separate incidents -- one in March and another in May.

A 3rd woman later stepped forward and also claimed Winslow raped her 15 years ago while she was unconscious.

Kellen was also accused of exposing himself to two other women in separate incidents over the past year as well.

All of Winslow's accusers testified during his trial -- which began on May 20.

Winslow had previously denied all the accusations ... insisting, "I am an innocent man" and called the whole thing a money grab.

The jury is going back into the deliberation room to discuss the 8 remaining charges.

Kendall Jenner Alleged Stalker Booted from USA ... Possible Tragedy Averted

Published | Updated

Kendall Jenner just got a little peace of mind -- her alleged stalker who crawled up onto her property has been kicked out of the country.

John Ford -- the 38-year-old Canadian citizen who twice showed up at Kendall's home last year -- has been deported from the U.S. following his hearing in El Paso, Texas. Good news for Kendall, because authorities feared he could get violent.

We broke the story ... Ford was arrested by ICE in New Mexico in March after the law enforcement agency hunted him down.

Jenner's alleged stalker's had an expired visitor visa and was in the country illegally, and after his arrest an ICE spokesperson told us it "very well have prevented a violent crime," adding ... "Our special agents acted quickly on this tip to ensure that this obsessive behavior didn't escalate to become a tragedy."

As we reported ... Ford scaled a hill at Kendall's home last October and ended up by her swimming pool. He came back again shortly thereafter and ended up on her porch.

The alleged stalker was reportedly escorted by officers from El Paso to the Houston airport and flown out of the U.S. to Ontario, Canada.

Tiger Woods Denies Responsibility For Man's Death ... Wants Lawsuit Thrown Out

Published | Updated

Tiger Woods says he is NOT responsible for a man's death last year ... and wants a lawsuit against him thrown out -- this according to court docs obtained by TMZ Sports.

The golf legend is currently being sued by the parents of Nicholas Immesberger -- who claim Tiger, his girlfriend and Woods' The Woods restaurant all contributed to their son's drunk driving death in 2018.

In the initial lawsuit, Immesberger's parents say the 24-year-old worked as a bartender for Woods' restaurant in Jupiter, Florida.

They say Nicholas knew Tiger personally ... and, in fact, was recruited to work at the place by Tiger's girlfriend, Erica Herman, herself.

But, they say things took a terrible turn on Dec. 10, 2018 ... when they allege Nicholas was overserved alcohol after a shift at the restaurant -- and then allowed to get into his car.

Immesberger died on the drive home -- and was found with a blood-alcohol level of .256, more than 3 times the legal limit.

Now, Tiger is officially responding to allegations he was responsible for the death ... saying in court docs he shouldn't be a defendant at all in the case.

"Mr. Woods, in short, did not sell alcohol to Mr. Immesberger," the lawsuit states ... "He has no connections to the events described in the complaint."

As for Tiger's girlfriend, Herman has also filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit ... saying she, too, was NOT responsible for Immesberger's death, claiming she was not at the restaurant on the day of the accident.

For their part, Nicholas' family is seeking everything from medical and funeral expenses to other damages in their lawsuit.

WE HAVE TO KEEP FIGHTING

9:25 AM PT -- Jon's in front of the committee and making a passionate plea while also scolding members of Congress for NOT making the bill a unanimous consent. Watch:

Jon Stewart has his game face on for an important day on Capitol Hill ... as he lobbies for 9/11 victims.

We got the comedian as he walked the halls of the Capitol Tuesday morning heading into a House Judiciary Committee hearing. Jon was flanked by a slew of 9/11 first responders as they got ready to testify. The 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund is set to expire, and Jon and co. are pushing for the funding to be extended.

Jon's made this his life mission since retiring in 2015 as the 'Daily Show' host.

But, check out the clip ... Jon, with a little help from first responders, leaves zero doubt this is his calling. Jon does seem a little ticked by the fact he has to repeatedly bring 9/11 first responders to these hearing -- as if to say, the committee doesn't really need to hear from them to do the right thing.

After Jon and others testify Tuesday, the committee will vote Wednesday.

Cuba Gooding Jr. Cops Say Heavy Drinking Involved Before Alleged Groping

Published | Updated

Cuba Gooding Jr. was inebriated before he allegedly got handsy with a woman who was trying to do him a solid ... at least that's how it was reported to cops.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the actor's known for hanging out at the Magic Hour Rooftop Bar and Lounge in NYC, and Sunday night he was throwing back several drinks.

We're told the alleged victim brought Cuba a water while he was partying and singing karaoke because she thought he was drunk. While they were talking, Gooding allegedly grabbed her breast ... and a "heated argument" broke out.

Our law enforcement sources say the altercation got so intense, security had to step in to squash it, but Cuba still didn't leave for another hour and a half. We're told the alleged groping incident went down around 10 PM, and the woman called 911 just before midnight to report it.

Police arrived shortly afterward to interview the bar staff who confirmed Cuba had been there and said he's a regular. Cops say they also checked security footage, which showed him leaving the club.

Our sources say cops haven't seen any footage of the alleged groping, but the investigation remains open.

As we told you ... video of Gooding Jr. at the venue on the night in question shows him having a good ol' time with pals. At one point, he appears agitated with someone. It's unclear if that person is the alleged victim.

We've reached out to Cuba's attorney ... no comment.

Felicity Huffman & William H. Macy 'When They See Us' ... We'll be at Sophia Grace's Graduation

Published | Updated

Felicity Huffman's fresh off playing a villain on Netflix -- and in federal court -- but in real life, she and William H. Macy are celebrating getting their kid into a cap and gown.

The couple attended daughter Sophia Grace's high school graduation ceremony Monday, as the L.A. High School of the Arts Class of 2019 was honored. The proud parents showed up dressed for the occasion ... for which they've been preparing for a couple weeks.

We've seen Sophia's mom and dad buying graduation balloons and flower arrangements, and now the big day was finally here. It couldn't have come at a better time for Felicity ... who's been going through it professionally and personally.

051319_felicity_court_kal MAY 13, 2019
ARRIVING TO COURT

She officially entered her guilty plea last month in the college admissions scandal, and is now looking at the possibility of up to 4 months in prison when she's sentenced in September.

And, then there's all the buzz around Felicity's role as Linda Fairstein in the Netflix limited series, "When They See Us."

The series paints the former Manhattan prosecutor as the mastermind behind the false convictions of the Central Park 5 -- and Fairstein's been publicly lambasted since the series debuted.

Felicity plays her pretty brilliantly, but PR-wise -- on the heels of her federal case -- a Disney fairy godmother role might have been better. Timing.

Like we said, at least she's got something to celebrate now.

Lil Xan Under Investigation ... For Assault with Deadly Weapon

Published

Lil Xan can claim he pulled a gun on a stranger in self-defense, but right now cops are looking at the incident as a possible case of assault with a deadly weapon.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... LAPD's elite Robbery-Homicide Division has taken over the investigation which could lead to a very serious felony. We're told when the alleged victim first went to police over his Friday night run-in with the rapper -- captured on video obtained by TMZ -- the officer filed a report for assault with a deadly weapon.

BACK THE F*** UP!

Although, Xan never fired ... it rises to assault with a deadly weapon if the alleged victim feared he might be shot.

In addition to cops seeing the video we posted, our sources say detectives are also looking to pull video from nearby businesses and high-rise residential buildings. There's also a restaurant across the street that may have surveillance vid of the full encounter. That could provide more context beyond our video, which starts when the argument is already in full swing.

We're told detectives want to speak with Lil Xan to get his side of the story. After that, cops could present their case to the D.A.'s Office ... OR get a warrant to arrest him.

TMZ broke the story ... the alleged victim called out Xan for calling Tupac's music "boring" last year. Things quickly escalated ... with Xan pulling a gun out multiple times, and pointing it at the man.

The 22-year-old rapper said he only pulled the gun because he thought he was about to be attacked.

If the D.A. doesn't see it that way, Xan could be charged with a felony that carries a max sentence of 4 years.

Cuba Gooding Jr. Filmed Partying it Up at Club Where Woman Says He Groped Her

Published | Updated

12:02 PM PT -- TMZ just got a hold of video that features Cuba at the venue where he allegedly groped a woman's breast. This footage was filmed Sunday evening at the Magic Hour Rooftop Bar and Lounge in NYC -- the night and location in question.

Considering the 911 call was placed around 1 AM, we'd assume most of what we're seeing here was before the alleged incident.

You can see Cuba was having a good ol' time, singing karaoke with his pals and carrying a drink in his hand. Later in the clip, you see him standing by two women -- whose faces we've blurred -- and he tells one of them to hush by signaling for her to be quiet. He also seems agitated by the interaction as the woman tries talking to him.

It's unclear from the video if any of the people around him have anything to do with the alleged incident, but it's interesting for sure.

Cuba Gooding Jr. allegedly got handsy with a woman in NYC, and now cops are looking into it ... TMZ has confirmed.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... a woman called 911 early Monday morning to report the actor for allegedly forcibly touching her breast without her consent at a club Sunday evening. Our sources say she told cops Cuba groped her while they were socializing.

We're also told that she got into his face about it afterward, and the 2 of them had to be broken up by security. Our sources tell us Cuba eventually left the club, and by the time officers showed up on the scene ... he was long gone.

The NYPD is currently looking for Cuba and we're told the plan is to book him for forcible touching. We've reached out to his attorney for comment ... so far, no word back.

Boosie Blasts American Airlines as Racist ... AA Says Not So Fast

Published

Boosie labeled American Airlines racist as hell for refusing to let him board his flight ... but the airline says the rapper's got it twisted.

ICYMI ... the rapper went on a homophobic, profanity-laced rant Sunday ... calling AA as a bunch of racist punks for refusing to let him and his kids board a flight from Charlotte to Grand Rapids, Michigan. It appears Boosie confirms he showed up late to the gate because he wrote, "The captain told you that we could be let on but you did not want us on because of your jealousy towards me."

A spokesperson for American Airlines tells TMZ ... "[Boosie's] inbound flight from Jackson, Miss., to Charlotte, NC., was delayed, and he arrived at the gate for his connecting flight to Grand Rapids, Mich., after the airplane door had been closed."

The spokesperson added, "While we understand misconnections are frustrating, [Boosie] was not denied boarding for any other reason other than he arrived after the door had already closed for departure."

The airline booked Boosie and his family another flight later that night but that didn't stop the rapper from wishing death on AA's employee and hoping for a plane crash. #RealMature.

Sounds like Boosie's jeopardized his status with AA ... the airline tells us it's reviewing Boosie's interactions with employees as well as his rant to determine his status moving forward.

So ... what was so important in Grand Rapids that had Boosie burning up after missing his flight?

A pool party.

Kyle Chrisley Avoids Charges in Drug Bust ... Georgia Case Still A Go

Published | Updated

Todd Chrisley's son doesn't have to sweat criminal charges from his Oklahoma drug bust, but only because he's in even bigger trouble in another state.

A rep for the Okmulgee County District Court tells TMZ ... the D.A. will not prosecute Kyle Chrisley ... who was arrested last month when cops found methamphetamine in his car. TMZ broke the story ... Kyle was pulled over for a broken headlight, but body cam footage showed the moment officers found the drugs in a cup.

Despite that evidence ... we're told the D.A.'s Office is dropping the felony drug possession charge, partly because Kyle's facing a more serious charge in Georgia for allegedly threatening his wife.

The other problem with the Oklahoma case is the cup with the drugs was in the center console of Kyle's vehicle, as opposed to on his person. We're told it would've been more difficult to prove.

Meanwhile, in Dekalb County, GA ... Kyle's estranged wife has told cops he threatened to kill her.

A judge signed off on a warrant for his arrest earlier this year after reviewing texts she says he sent, saying things like, "[N]ot before I end you."

Kyle was booked for terroristic threats and released on his own recognizance -- but not before posing for another mug shot.

Todd's had a rocky relationship with his son -- he only appeared in one season of the family's hit USA reality show, "Chrisley Knows Best."

But, we're guessing, at this point, Kyle would say ... one problem at a time.

Rapper Red Cafe Busted for Theft in Rental Car Fiasco

Published

Red Cafe got hit with something way more than a late charge for not returning a rental car on time -- he got arrested, and now could be facing serious jail time.

The Brooklyn rapper was busted last week for vehicle theft after Beverly Hills PD learned of a stolen car -- a 2018 Chevy Impala rental -- parked on the street. According to law enforcement ... officers saw Red Cafe get in the car and start to drive away. He did not get far ... they quickly pulled him over and took him into custody.

Red was booked on a felony count of unlawful taking/driving of a vehicle -- and released on a $25,000 bond. The rapper's scheduled to appear in court next month.

In hindsight ... the "God Wanted Us To Be Lit" rapper probably would have been better off just booking a long-term rental. Live and learn, right?

We reached out to Red's camp, but so far ... no word back.

TAKEN INTO CUSTODY

Ex-boxing superstar Antonio Tarver was pretty pissed to be arrested in front of his neighbors after he allegedly socked his stepson in the mouth ... telling cops, "that's ridiculous, man."

It's all in police video obtained by TMZ Sports ... which shows Tarver getting put in the back of a cop car after he and his 18-year-old stepson, Aziya Taylor, got into an altercation at Tarver's Florida home last August.

As we previously reported, Taylor told cops a dispute at a Waffle House earlier in the day led to Tarver attacking him, socking him and throwing him in the garage.

In 911 calls previously obtained by TMZ Sports ... you can hear the alleged scuffle break out -- followed by a neighbor telling dispatch that Aziya was a bloody mess from the incident.

CHAOTIC 911 AUDIO

50-year-old Tarver was ultimately arrested for domestic battery -- and as you can see in the video, dude was NOT happy to be put in cuffs in his own neighborhood, saying, "I don't know why ya'll gotta handcuff me."

"All my neighbors out here, man. That's ridiculous, man."

But, Antonio -- who was facing up to 1 year in jail for the altercation -- just cut a deal with prosecutors last week ... and in exchange for a no contest plea -- he had his battery charge reduced to misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

Tarver's punishment? Around $350 in court fees and fines.

Tarver -- now listed at 6'2", 225 pounds -- was a stud boxer back in the day ... winning multiple belts and scoring impressive wins over stars like Roy Jones Jr.

Antonio also starred as Mason "The Line" Dixon in the 2006 "Rocky Balboa" movie.

Casey Chaos Punk Rocker Arrested ... For Felony Domestic Violence

Published

Punk rock singer Casey Chaos allegedly bloodied a woman at his house, and now he's facing a possible felony for domestic violence.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the lead singer for the group Amen got into an argument with a woman early Tuesday morning at his San Fernando Valley home. We're told the verbal dispute eventually turned violent, and when cops showed up they found the woman with a bloody face.

Casey, whose real name Karim Chmielinski, was arrested and booked for felony domestic violence. However, our sources say Casey told cops the woman is NOT his girlfriend, and he was adamant they aren't dating. The alleged victim refused medical aid on the scene.

The 53-year-old frontman was released on $50,000 bond.

It's not the first time Casey has been in trouble with the law ... as we first reported, Chaos was arrested for DUI in Los Angeles back in 2012 after he allegedly smashed his SUV into several parked cars and fled the scene.

Casey's attorney, Elon Berk, tells TMZ ... "It's clear that these accusations against Casey are absolutely false. The house where the alleged incident occurred was full of witnesses who have all given statements to police and are willing to testify in court as to the falsity of these accusations."

Machine Gun Kelly Sued by Actor 'G-Rod' ... You Ordered Your Crew to Attack Me!!!

Published | Updated

Machine Gun Kelly's goons ganged up on a guy, and beat the hell outta him -- on video -- and now the victim's suing the rapper, claiming he ordered the attack.

We broke the story ... Gabriel "G-Rod" Rodriguez confronted MGK back in September at an Atlanta restaurant and called him a "p***y" because he was pissed about Kelly's beef with Eminem.

Later in the evening at a Hampton Inn, video footage shows G-Rod getting jumped and viciously body slammed, kicked and punched by a bunch of dudes allegedly in MGK's crew. At least 3 of the individuals were ID'd and charged with misdemeanor battery, but cops said MGK was in the clear because he wasn't a part of it.

G-Rod's not letting him get off that easy, though ... and filed suit against the rapper and the 3 other dudes in his crew for battery. According to the docs ... Rodriguez claims Kelly instructed the bodyguards to attack him, and he's suffered serious injuries and medical expenses.

G-Rod's also suing the hotel for negligence in the incident.

As we told you, G-Rod's attorney, Blake Dolman, threatened to pursue legal action if MGK didn't cut his client a check. Guess that never happened.

Dolman tells us ... "Mr. Rodriguez looks forward to his day in court and holding those responsible for this vicious and cowardly attack fully responsible for their actions."

MGK's manager tells TMZ ... "it's a bogus lawsuit and MGK is not liable for what happened."

John Singleton Daughter Wants Restraining Order Against Family Friend

Published | Updated

3:30 PM PT -- The judge has denied Justice's request for a restraining order ... for now. According to the legal docs, there'll be a hearing at the end of the month to determine if Avance will be ordered to stay away.

The docs also shed light on why Justice sought out the protection -- she claims Smith broke into her late father's property last week and took his belongings. She also accuses him of threatening her while John was in the hospital, both by text and in person.

Justice claims Avance is "uncontrollable" and she fears he could be physically violent.

John Singleton's family war is getting serious, and the latest battle is between his daughter and one of his old friends ... TMZ has learned.

According to new legal docs ... John's daughter, Justice, has filed for a restraining order against Avance Smith. Family sources tell us Smith was a very close longtime friend of John's -- so close, John commonly referred to him as his cousin. Smith also worked as a security guard for John from time to time.

It's unclear at this point why Justice wants court-ordered protection from her father's friend.

What's interesting is her request comes one day after Singleton's mom, Shelia Ward, filed an emergency request for control of his assets ... specifically because someone had gone into John's locked office and taken valuables.

We don't know that Avance has anything to do with that allegation.

As we reported, other members of John's extended family have grown suspicious about some of the circumstances surrounding his death -- such as how he initially got to a hospital back in April, and who was with him in the hours before that.

They've hired a private investigator to help them find answers.
