Sofia Richie's brother, Miles, missed his sister's wedding because he tested positive for COVID before the nuptials ... TMZ has learned.

A rep for Sofia and Miles tells TMZ ... Miles wasn't feeling well before the wedding so he got a COVID test, and it came back positive.

We're told Sofia would have loved for her brother to have been there on her special day, but she understands why he couldn't make it ... and we're told Miles was missed by the family and all the wedding guests.

As we reported ... Sofia and music executive Elliot Grainge just tied the knot Saturday in a star-studded wedding at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France ... with her famous father, Lionel Richie, walking her down the aisle.

Harry Belafonte, the iconic and pioneering singer, actor and civil rights activist is dead ... according to his rep.

Ken Sunshine says Harry -- who burst onto music charts in the 1950s before becoming a successful actor -- died Tuesday at his home in Manhattan of congestive heart failure.

Belafonte popularized calypso music in America in the early 50s with his infectious -- still, to this day -- hit song, "Banana Boat Song" ... also known as "Day-O." Younger folks will recognize it as that song from "Beetlejuice."

Harry was born in NYC to Jamaican-born parents, so his music was fueled by Caribbean sounds ... and his breakthrough album, "Calypso" became the first ever record to sell more than 1 million copies in a single year.

His music success made him in a commodity in Hollywood where he immediately landed roles in "Carmen Jones," "Island in the Sun" and "Odds Against Tomorrow." He was also very good friends with Sidney Poitier, with whom he costarred in the 70s classics, "Uptown Saturday Night" and "Buck and the Preacher."

As prominent as he was as an entertainer, Belafonte is equally hailed for his work as a civil rights leader and human rights activist. He was commonly seen marching with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in the 60s ... and he was at the forefront of efforts to fight famine in Africa.

He was one of the key organizers of the "We Are the World" charity record in 1985. In fact, Harry was so respected among the packed room of superstars that during the late night recording, they all spontaneously burst into a few verses of "Day-O." Very cool moment.

Just last December -- the last time he attended a public event -- he received the National Order of the Legion of Honour from the French government.

He's survived by his wife Pamela, 4 children -- including actress, Shari Belafonte -- 2 stepchildren and several grandchildren.

Harry Belafonte was 96.

Rae Sremmurd's Swae Lee's gotta be feeling pretty lucky ... an all-out royal rumble went down with security ahead of his Coachella performance, but he and his baby managed to dodge the blows.

TMZ Hip Hop obtained footage of Swae and his entourage attempting to enter the festival grounds at a security checkpoint behind the stage ... but their path was slowed by several security workers, and that's when things got physical.

You can see Swae actually get knocked back against some fencing as all hell breaks loose ... security guards swarm in like piranhas, pummeling another man in Swae's camp. All the while, one of Swae's guards makes sure his baby -- in a big car seat -- is safe.

Management for Swae tells us ... “As Swae Lee attempted to enter the festival with his newborn son and working crew, overzealous security guards confronted them. As 1/2 of Rae Sremmurd, he was due to perform on Coachella’s Outdoor Theatre stage at 5:55 PM. Security claimed not to recognize the talent and then aggressively initiated contact as they attempted to make their way to the stage."

They continue, "The security guards, which we presume are independent contractors, are seen clearly being the aggressors and then throwing gang signs at end of the video in a celebration."

Swae's team says his own security did a bang-up job protecting him, and more importantly, his baby boy. When the dust settled, Swae and his bro Slim Jxmmi got onstage as scheduled to rock the crowd.

Backstreet Boys singer AJ McLean says he's using the separation from his wife to work on his own demons and become a better version of himself ... hoping they'll come back stronger than ever.

We caught up with AJ at LAX Monday and he got super candid on why he and his wife, Rochelle DeAnna McLean, decided to hit the pause button on their marriage.

AJ says he talks to Rochelle and the kids multiple times every day, especially when he's on the road ... and that'll never change.

TMZ broke the story ... AJ and Rochelle, who share 2 kids together, decided to temporarily separate ... telling us they wanted to work on themselves and their marriage.

AJ says he's fully committed to his 12-step program and is sober as can be ... something that's clearly essential to him in moving forward.

Alana Thompson, better known as reality TV's "Honey Boo Boo," went all out for prom ... wearing a pink ball gown and pulling up to the high school dance in a horse-drawn carriage.

Alana glammed up for the bash ... curling and styling her blonde hair into ringlets, and posing for pics in her floor-length sequined dress with her prom date -- 21-year-old boyfriend Dralin Carswell.

The pre-prom photo shoot was a reality TV family affair ... with Alana snapping some shots with Mama June.

Alana's prom went down Sunday in Georgia, and she arrived with Dralin in a white and pink carriage, which matched her prom dress, for some real fairytale vibes.

The horse and buggy might have been a smart choice for prom transportation ... as we first reported, Alana's BF was arrested for DUI last month following a police chase with Alana in the car.

Prom's a big part of the high school experience, and it looks like Alana made the most of her last dance.

Russell Wilson went from NFL superstar to proud dad real quick this weekend ... 'cause after Future Zahir hit his first ever over-the-fence home run -- the Denver Broncos QB went crazy!!!

The memorable moment went down on the baseball diamond just after one of Ciara's 8-year-old son's games ... when Russ and the boy were getting in some extra work.

You can see in video Wilson shared to his Instagram page on Sunday ... the quarterback was throwing Future Zahir some pitches, when the kid got a hold of one.

The ball traveled to deep left field ... and when it cleared the fence -- everyone lost their minds!!

Wilson threw his hands up, Future Zahir jumped up and down ... and even Ciara screamed from the stands, chanting his name as her son circled the bases.

"His first Home Run way over the fence!" Wilson said of the moment in the vid's caption. "Future taking ground balls, pop flies & extra swings. Right before Sun down."

"Anything worth having we all have to work for!!! Proud dad moment.⚾️"

Of course, the Super Bowl champ knows a thing or two about baseball ... before becoming an NFL player, Wilson played for NC State from 2008 to 2010 and was actually drafted by the Colorado Rockies.

The 34-year-old went on to play 32 games for Rockies' minor league affiliate, the Tri-City Dust Devils, and had two home runs, 11 RBI and a .230 batting average.

As for Future Zahir -- Ciara's first child with rapper Future -- he isn't just good with the bat ... Wilson's been training him on the football field as well.

Before this handsome fella was dribbling down the field and scoring hella goals, he was attending the Manchester United games with his rents and exploring the streets of London, England with his two sisters.

After he successfully wrapped up his 20-year career, he retired his soccer balls -- and amped up his modeling, stripping down to nothing but some whitey tighties ... no shame in his game! With the help of his spicy wife, he's added 'fashion icon' to his resume.

Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis are still in the middle of a nasty custody battle, but you'd never know it watching the two cheer on their kiddo like the best of friends.

Both Olivia and Jason attended one of their kid's soccer games Saturday where they not only exchanged pleasantries, but also stood together chat as they took in all the action. It's not the first time we've seen them together since their split, but it's certainly a drastic change from what's been happening behind the scenes in their custody battle.

TMZ broke the story ... Olivia took home a victory in court last month when a judge rejected Jason's request to have the case moved from California to New York.

It was a big deal for Olivia, considering California is more generous with awarding child support, but the whole battle has still been pretty costly to the director.

In legal docs, obtained by DailyMail, Olivia's attorney wrote, "While Jason can afford to spin his wheels with filing after filing, Olivia cannot ... Jason should not be permitted to litigate Olivia into debt."

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West live very separate lives these days, but that doesn't mean they can't come together to support their kids ... doing just that this weekend.

Kanye and his wife Bianca Censori showed face at Kim and Kanye's daughter North's basketball game -- though it was only for a brief moment -- before the two took off in Kanye's SUV.

Kim was also at the game, walking into a bunch of photogs before taking in the action inside. On her way out, Kim was joined by North and some of her friends, Kim stayed quiet, but North joked about the photo flashes before they piled into a waiting car.

We haven't seen a whole lot of Kim and Kanye together as of late ... and it appears they showed to the game at separate times as well. However, they've maintained for a long time that they'd co-parent their 4 kids, and it appears they've been able to keep that promise.

Bella Mir is just a freshman at Iowa, but she's already a bonafide badass on the wrestling mat, and although it's likely years away, Frank Mir's daughter says she knows where she's going -- the UFC!

19-year-old Mir, already a top 10 ranked wrestler in her weight class, recently showed out at the USA Wrestling national championships in Washington ... securing a spot on the under-20 team.

"Obviously the endgame is to fight and be in the UFC," Bella told us earlier this week.

Mir, while not signed to the UFC, is already in business with Dana White's organization ... the MMA promotion signed Bella to a NIL (Name, Image and Likeness) deal back in January.

Of course, Bella's dad Frank is a 2x UFC heavyweight champ who beat the likes of Brock Lesnar. So, apple, tree.

Although Bella (a 4x state champ in Nevada and 2022 American jiu-jitsu champ) isn't in the UFC just yet, she is fighting MMA professionally, securing a 3-0 record. Two of her fights ended in the first round, while her first fight was won by unanimous decision.

Mir says she was scheduled to fight this summer (on the same card as Dad!) ... but since she's made the Junior USA Wrestling team, Bella now has a choice to make.

"Right now I'm actually in a predicament cause this summer I was supposed to fight twice. One in June, one in August. But now my summer plans have changed a little bit cause I made the world team so now I'm going to worlds, and I'm going to Spain, I'm doing all these camps."

"It's like I actually have to talk to Dad today and talk to him about what my summer looks like cause being a multisport athlete is pretty hard."

We also asked Bella about the Olympics ... and whether gold was something she had her sights set on.

"Of course. I think every girl's dream is wrestling is going to the Olympics, go to Worlds. They're the top 2 dreams. That's always been a dream of mine. Being an Olympian, that's one of a kind. Less than one percent of athletes are Olympians, and of course, that is something I think about all the time."

And, Mir just took a big step towards achieving her lifelong dreams.

Kris Jenner was like her kids this weekend -- hitting Coachella with her man, and tagging along with one of the biggest power couples around ... Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez.

The KarJenner matriarch was out in the desert Friday night alongside her partner, Corey Gamble, but they weren't cruising alone -- on the contrary, there were a few private SUVs that pulled up to the VIP entrance area ... and the Amazon founder stepped out as well.

Of course, he was with his lady as well ... and they seemed to be rolling with a small group of friends/couples. Everyone was in their best music festival getups -- JB especially.

They stood around and chitchatted before being led to a secret back route to the main stage ... where they were set to watch Bad Bunny perform for the second weekend in a row as a headliner. Remember, he had a memorable outing days ago with Kendall Jenner.

Unclear if the Gen X crew here was on the grounds earlier in the day or not -- there don't seem to be any pics of them floating around from what we can see ... but they certainly rolled deep for the evening sesh. Gotta imagine they hung it up after that, though.

Anyhoo ... it's an interesting pairing, but not surprising. We already know Kim Kardashian has had face time with Jeff and Lauren -- so it follows that Kris would know them too.

The question, of course, that must be asked when you're chillin' with high rollers like this is ... who picks up the check for a big dinner? Kris is rich, Jeff's way richer -- maybe Corey???

Sofia Richie is going all out for her wedding to Elliot Grainge ... kicking off the weekend with a lavish celebration to welcome all their friends who've flown to France for the event.

Lionel Richie's youngest was hand-in-hand Friday with her fiancé, and the couple couldn't look happier to tie the knot.

Sofia had a white long gown while Elliot was suited and booted for the occasion -- and while they're looking the part, this is not the wedding ... just a welcoming reception.

For the most part, the love birds remained side-by-side during the event, smiling broadly as they walked around greeting everyone.

It's fair to say that this is the moment Sofia's been waiting for -- she's been sharing her excitement with posts documenting her makeup and outfit choices.

Sofia announced her engagement to the music executive in April of 2022, after going IG official a year prior. They'd known each other for years, though ... Lionel was reportedly good pals with Elliot's dad, Sir Lucian Grainge and they'd collaborated on music projects.

Drake Bell's wife is throwing in the towel on their marriage ... because she just filed to divorce the actor.

The "Drake & Josh" star's estranged wife, Janet Von Schmeling, booked it to court this week and filed for divorce after 4 years of marriage ... according to new legal docs.

In the docs, obtained by TMZ, Janet says they separated back in September ... and she's going with the usual irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.

Drake and Janet have one child together, one-year-old Wyatt Bell, and the docs say Janet is seeking primary legal and physical custody of their kid. She wants Drake to be granted visitation rights.

Janet's also seeking spousal support.

The divorce filing comes on the heels of Drake being reported missing by police in Florida earlier this month ... with a family member calling cops and claiming Drake was threatening suicide in response to child custody issues with Janet.

Drake was hanging with his son the day before police said he was MIA and "considered missing and endangered."

Aaron Carter's cause of death -- drowning as a result of being under the influence -- doesn't add up for his fiancée, which is why she wants a second opinion as to how he died.

Melanie Martin -- who shares a child with Aaron -- tells TMZ ... she's not satisfied with the findings of the L.A. County Coroner's Office -- which ruled Aaron's death an accident based on an autopsy following his sudden death last year.

The reason ... she says there are still elements surrounding the circumstances of his passing that don't quite make sense to her -- like the fact he was partially clothed in the bathtub when his body was found ... suggesting to her he was lucid before he died ... which could point to someone else being involved.

Another thing ... there was mention in Aaron's autopsy of a small abrasion on his left eyebrow and another one at the base of his septum. MM tells us that's a red flag to her and a sign of a possible struggle.

Because of these lingering doubts -- which Melanie says she and her son are entitled to have addressed -- she's mulling over the possibility of having Aaron's case examined a second time by a private investigator and medical professional ... only this time, private ones hired by the family.

Melanie also says she wants the additional investigation to give her peace of mind and closure ... as she believes Aaron himself would want no stone unturned.

Here's the reality ... Melanie tells us she simply isn't sure if she'll be able to pull the resources together to do it all. As you might imagine, it's very expensive, and she says she's not equipped at the moment to get it done. Still ... she's considering her options.

Fact is, Melanie is on the same train as Aaron's mother, Jane Carter -- who recently told us the death scene photos that surfaced screamed foul play ... a theory she doesn't think investigators looked into seriously enough.

Melanie says she's even tried doing a little investigating on her own -- going door-to-door for surveillance footage ... but coming up empty. She tells us she wants the homeless housekeeper who was staying with him to get a second look by cops ... not to mention drug dealers she claims had it out for Aaron, and who might've been supplying him.

Aside from being a child actress, this sweet girl -- rockin' her hair clip and showing off her beautiful smile -- was also a top figure skater and earned a black belt in Taekwondo while growing up on the Upper East Side of New York City.

After making her acting debut at just 6 years old in the television film "An Invasion of Privacy," her future spotlight was lookin' quite bright, and before she knew it was starring on the soap opera "All My Children." But, perhaps you know her from her days as Buffy Summers.

"Smallville" star Erica Durance is leaving her Clark Kent ... because she and her husband, actor David Palffy, have split.

A rep for Erica, who played Lois Lane on the superhero TV show, tells TMZ ... "David and Erica have decided to amicably separate."

The date of separation is unclear ... ditto for the reason behind the split ... but it doesn't appear Erica or David have filed divorce docs, at least not yet.

In a joint statement, Erica and David say ... "Out of respect for our children that's all that will be conveyed at this time. Thank you in advance for your understanding as we navigate the next chapter in our lives."

The relationship has been the subject of fan speculation recently ... it's been a while since Erica's posted with David on social media, and she was spotted not wearing her wedding ring last week at the Canadian Screen Awards, all while making cryptic posts online.

Erica and David started dating way back in 2001, and in 2005 they tied the knot. They have two sons together, an 8-year-old and a 6-year-old.

Before, Erica was married to Wesley Parker from 1996 to 1999 ... but it ended in divorce.
