Takeoff was the man of the hour at his beverage-fueled surprise 25th birthday party ... but Cardi B made sure to grab some -- okay most -- of the attention.

Cardi and her husband, Offset, joined Quavo to celebrate the bday of their fellow Migos rapper in downtown L.A. Tuesday night, and the party theme was sweet ... as in loaded with sugary drinks, candy and cake.

The bash looked fun as hell too ... with a variety of arcade games, delicious food, and of course -- TakeOff's Drank Factory. According to Quavo, the party was thrown as a surprise for his pal ... he shared a post saying, "Surprise Take U Deserve It!!!"

Yes, sir!

As for the cake ... Cardi showed off plenty in a black fishnet getup accentuating her backside. Following her wardrobe malfunction at Bonnaroo, it appears she decided to go with a "less is more" approach to her outfit.

Gloria Vanderbilt, the heiress to the Vanderbilt railroad fortune and creator of the wildly popular Vanderbilt jeans, has died.

It appears she died of stomach cancer, which was so advanced she was taken to the hospital earlier this month.

Gloria, the mother of Anderson Cooper, was a woman of many trades, including model, fashion designer and actress. She was also one of the biggest socialites in New York City.

During the '70s, Gloria launched a line of designer jeans with her signature, designer swan. One of her slogans is "My bottoms are tops."

Gloria was married 4 times ... one of her husband's was famed director Sidney Lumet. She was linked over the years to a number of famous men, including Howard Hughes, Marlon Brando, Frank Sinatra and Gene Kelly.

Her life was not without tragedy. Gloria's oldest son with Wyatt Cooper, Carter Vanderbilt Cooper, committed suicide at age 23 back in 1988 by jumping out of the family's 14th floor window.

She was also embroiled in a famous custody battle. Her dad died when she was a baby and her mom and aunt fought over who should raise her. The custody trial became the basis for the 1980 book and subsequent miniseries, "Little Gloria ... Happy at Last." It was nominated for 6 Emmys.

She was super close to Anderson. In 1995, Gloria sold her mansion and moved in with Anderson to write her book, "A Mother's Story" ... which dealt with coping with Carter's suicide. In 2016, the two also released a book and a documentary on HBO together titled 'Nothing Left Unsaid.'

Anderson just gave a tribute to his mom, saying, "Gloria Vanderbilt was an extraordinary woman who loved life and lived it on her own terms. What an extraordinary life. What an extraordinary mom. What an incredible woman."

Cardi B's rainbow-colored jumpsuit couldn't take the pressure of a full concert worth o' booty shaking, but she made sure the show went on ... slightly more covered up.

The rapper had just taken the stage Sunday night at the Bonnaroo Arts and Music Festival when -- a couple songs into her set -- she suffered a wardrobe malfunction ... a split right down the middle of her ass.

Cardi left for a few minutes after announcing her outfit had ripped, but after the crowd entertained themselves by singing "Old Town Road" ... she reemerged in a white bathrobe and declared, "We gonna keep it moving, baby."

Even with her setback, Cardi's set was a super quick 45 minutes, but was jam-packed with all of her hits ... including "I Like It," "Money" and "Bodak Yellow" to close it out. She also vowed to "keep it sexy" and managed to do so ... even in a robe.

As we reported, Cardi's had to cancel some shows lately due to complications with her recovery from cosmetic surgery -- lipo and a boob job.

Presidential candidate Eric Swalwell has an answer for Meghan McCain, who called him out over the 9/11 Victims Fund, and makes it clear ... he's supporting Jon Stewart and all the first responder heroes.

The Democratic Congressman was on "TMZ Live" Thursday responding to Meghan criticizing him for missing Jon's powerful testimony this week for the House Judiciary Committee. Rep. Swalwell told us his absence was the result of a top-secret matter.

Swalwell has 3 family members in law enforcement and stressed he's voted to fund the 9/11 Victims Fund before and would continue to support what Jon's pitching.

As for his 2020 presidential run -- the California Rep. says he's up for the hectic schedule, but there's one aspect of it that really grinds his gears. He says it's a MUST that he gets in his daily run. As for how far he goes -- it's pretty impressive, considering he's traveling almost every day.

As we reported ... Justin surprisingly challenged the famed 56-year-old actor to an MMA fight this past weekend and enlisted Dana White to set it up. His motive for beefing with Cruise is still unclear.

Hailey captioned the final product, "Boys and their toys," followed by 3 eye roll emojis. That seems about right.

Rob Kardashian is pumping the brakes on a new fashion line, because he's been accused of stealing a crucial design for it -- so now he's gotta pivot.

Fans of independent street artist Rx Skulls -- who is well known for a signature toothy skull design -- recently alerted him directly to a new line of hoodies and pins that Rob's own line, HALFWAYDEAD, was advertising on social media.

Check out the side-by-side comparison ... the skull logo Rob slapped on his sweaters looks eerily similar to the Rx one -- and, apparently, Rob thought so too.

Sources close to Rx tell TMZ ... he and Rob's team got in touch with each other, and put the issue to bed amicably. We're told Rx was even offered an explanation about how his skull design ended up on the hoodies and other merch.

It all worked out in the end though... our sources say Rob's company deleted the photos of the hoodies and pins that featured the skull design, and promised Rx it wouldn't peddle the merch.

No harm, no foul ... we're told Rx was good with that.

Rx Skulls itself alluded to the situation as well, saying the issue had been resolved ... and went on to thank their fans for the overwhelming amount of support and help.

DJ Mustard treated himself on his birthday ... with some expensive condiments.

The famed producer behind some of hip-hop's sickest beats turned 29 on Wednesday and celebrated with new bling. DJ Mustard commissioned celebrity jeweler Eliantte, who came up with a clever pendant. Over 400 carats of VS diamonds and more than 2 kilos of gold make up a tiny ketchup figurine bottle chasing, naturally, a mustard one.

A bunch of diamonds also make out "10 Summers" on the center of the pendant ... in homage to Mustard's first studio album. Two brand new links designed by Eliantte complete the shiny birthday gift he received last night. The gift wasn't cheap either ... a cool $650k!!!

DJ Mustard -- who earned the stage name because his first name is Dijon (as in Dijon mustard, get it?) -- said the new pendant gives his stage name a whole new meaning. He wrote on Instagram, "Always be mustard, never have to Ketchup."

The hitmaker listed some proud accomplishments ... from winning a Grammy this year to moving "my sister and mom out of the hood" and putting countless of his friends in better positions to take care of their families.

June Ambrose gets the award for most cringe-worthy moment at the 2019 CFDA Awards ... after making a monumental mental slip about the late Kate Spade.

The costume designer and star of "Styled By June" was chatting up celebs arriving Monday night at the fashion awards show at the Brooklyn Museum -- which was live streamed -- when she made a shocking and insensitive gaffe.

June was interviewing entrepreneur Hannah Bronfman and asked what designer she was wearing. When she said she was wearing Kate Spade, June replied ... "Are you here with Kate? Is she here?"

Seemingly unaware that the famous fashion designer died a year ago by suicide, Ambrose continued to look around for Spade and asked if she'd skipped past her. Bronfman was visibly rattled, but kudos to her for handling it with class and finding a way to NOT shame June.

People watching online, however, didn't let June's slipup slide -- blasting her online for being clueless and insensitive.

Ambrose indirectly acknowledged her mistake when she signed off, saying ... "It has been my honor and pleasure to host, screw up and cause chaos tonight on this carpet for you. I hope you enjoyed and learned as much as I did."

She also tweeted early Tuesday morning, apologizing for her mistake, and admitting she made "an error."

Now, Zion rocked Nikes in college -- but only because Duke had an endorsement deal with the Swoosh.

But, there was speculation he could switch to another company after his NCAA career was jeopardized because of that February incident when his Nike PG 2.5s busted open during the first minute of the UNC game.

Zion suffered a right knee strain during the shoe explosion ... and many wondered if he would bail for Adidas, Puma or even New Balance (hey, Kawhi Leonard did it).

John's tracksuit actually has a pretty interesting story ... it comes from the collection of Yoko's ex-husband, Tony Cox, and John wore it when he and Yoko traveled together to Denmark to visit her ex and their daughter, Kyoko.

Not only did John and Yoko wear matching tracksuits on their European adventure ... they also chopped off their hair in the name of peace!!!

As you know ... John and Yoko married in March of 1969, and that sparked a legal battle with Cox over custody of their daughter. The trip to Denmark was a shot at reconciliation, and John and Yoko were as chill as could be in their comfy tracksuits.

DaBaby has a message for folks who want to keep testing him -- STOP ... or you will get your ass kicked. He ain't lying ... two dudes in two weekends kinda proves his point.

The NC rapper posted a video Sunday after what appeared to be another vicious beating he was involved in -- either directly or indirectly -- down in Charlotte the day before. It sounds like a warning shot of sorts to would-be future hecklers who wanna harass him.

People should take note ... DaBaby isn't afraid to engage, whether cops are called or not.

On Saturday, an edited clip made its way around the Internet in which a guy spots DaBaby inside a Louis Vuitton store at SouthPark mall ... with him proceeding to heckle the rapper from afar. The video then cuts to DaBaby's POV, with him inching closer and closer to the fan.

Eventually, a brawl erupts on camera. It appears three people are involved in the scuffle ... but as the edited video cuts to the next shot, you see the heckler on the ground bleeding from his nose and his pants around his ankles. DaBaby takes credit for the beating.

It's unclear if DaBaby actually handled the dude himself -- we doubt it, he's got a security team after all -- but it doesn't really matter. Point is, DaBaby and co. WILL attack.

Remember last weekend -- a guy was beaten to a pulp after insisting on a pic with DaBaby ... which led to his security team stepping in and pounding the dude's face in ... leaving him in a coma afterward and on the verge of death, according to his ma.

Post Malone thinks country fans need to calm the f*** down and stop bitching about Lil Nas X not having country cred.

We got Post Saturday night leaving Wally's in Bev Hills and asked him about the big stick over "Old Town Road," where Lil Nas X gives a strategic shout out to Wrangler jeans. Some country fans think (A) Wranglers are exclusively country so he shouldn't be a pitchman, and (B) he's not country at all.

Post makes solid points ... (A) country singers, like Sam Hunt, rap and that's no big deal, and (B) Wranglers have never been the exclusive domain for country fans.

Zion Williamson hasn't set foot on an NBA court yet and he already has a shoe and movie deal offer, courtesy of Master P and Romeo.

... but only if Zion actually comes to New Orleans.

We got the father-son duo out in Los Angeles, and they told us they have a role all carved out for Zion in the sequel to their comedy flick "I Got The Hook-Up 2," which comes out in July.

"I have a beautiful idea, we need to get Zion in 'I Got The Hook-Up 3.'"

The movie features Jeezy, Michael Blackson, A.J. Johnson, D.C. Young Fly, Jennifer Lee and a host of others -- and P and Romeo want Zion.

But, that wasn't all ... P had another offer for Williamson from his shoe company, MoneYatti.

"I know Zion gonna get a big shoe deal from Nike or Adidas or whatever. We gonna get him a deal just to have to wear shoes outside of basketball."

Question is, how much is P willing to pay?

"Just to wear it on the side, not in the game, I'm saying $20 [million]."

You heard it, $20 million shoe deal plus a movie role, all if Zion ends up in New Orleans -- which has the #1 overall pick in the upcoming NBA Draft.
