New York Yankees ace Nestor Cortes had a hell of an experience on the mound at his first All-Star Game -- and then he got engaged to his girlfriend!!

The left-handed pitcher just shared the news on his social media page ... saying following his dominant outing in Tuesday night's midsummer classic, he proposed to his GF -- and she said yes.

"All Star week made 2 of my dreams come true," the 27-year-old said. "Pitch in a all star game. And propose to my bestfriend. With my parents along my side. I had to make us official."

Alondra G. Esteras Russy confirmed on her own social media that she didn't turn the Yanks star down ... writing on pics of her new ring, "Of course i said YES !"

Cortes appeared to pop the question at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art -- a fitting place, considering the paint he had thrown at the All-Star Game just hours earlier.

In his one inning of work, he struck out two, allowed no hits and gave up no runs -- as he helped propel the American League to a 3-2 win over the National League.

Only thing that could make this year better would be a World Series ring -- and, given the way the Yankees look, that might just happen.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck will soon be surrounded by their closest friends and family to celebrate their marriage at his estate in Georgia ... a plan almost IDENTICAL to how things were supposed to go down 20 years ago.

Sources familiar tell TMZ ... back when the couple got engaged in 2002, they planned on getting married at Ben's 87-acre property outside Savannah, GA. We're told everything was in place leading up to their big day -- including police and security to HOLD the unwelcome at bay before the couple decided to call everything off ... ending the engagement in 2004.

TMZ broke the story, Ben and Jen got married in Vegas early Saturday morning in a tiny chapel ceremony that included their kids ... but they'll throw a massive party at Ben's GA estate by the end of the month.

The property, about an hour's drive from Savannah, features several homes, including a 10,000 square foot main house and a smaller, 6,000 sq. foot home ... so there's plenty of bedrooms for guests.

Jennifer released a statement shortly after we broke the wedding news, saying, "We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient."

Seaside parties might not be the wave ... at least not in Hawaii right now, where crazy high tides completely destroyed a wedding reception.

It all went down over the weekend, on the west coast of Hawaii's Big Island at the Hulihe'e Palace in Kailua-Kona ... when a couple set out to have a beautiful beachside reception.  And, some guests caught the whole thing on camera.

As you can see, the waves were so fierce, they wrecked the entire wedding party in a matter of seconds ... toppling the nice set-up of tables and chairs.

According to local news reports, the waves were so big they were going over 2 story buildings!

At first, it appears the guests were unaware of just how big the waves were as they watched on. Eventually, they scramble ... unable to stop the waves from destroying everything.

Luckily though, no one got hurt and they were able to turn things around for the better. The wedding cake even weathered the storm!

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck might've gone low-key by exchanging vows in Vegas ... but they're still taking things up to A-list level with a big private party to celebrate their love.

Sources close to the couple tell TMZ there's a massive bash set to take place in the next few weeks at a home Ben owns in the coastal town of Riceboro, Georgia. We're told the party's guest list will, of course, include family members -- but close friends and celeb pals are also expected to fly out to celebrate with the newlyweds.

We're told Jen recently went to the home a few weeks ago with her manager to party plan, and we believe Ben was there as well.

Ben's home, about an hour outside Savannah, comes with plenty of room to have fun -- the property is 87 acres and the main house has 3 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and 6,000 sq ft of living space. Ben tried selling the home for about $8 million in 2019 before pulling it off the market.

TMZ broke the story ... Ben and Jen tied the knot early Saturday morning in Sin City.

Following the news, Jen posted a series of photos from the ceremony -- which included their kids -- with a note that read, "We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient."

She signed the message, "Jennifer Lynn Affleck."

While Jennifer admitted, they had hoped to be married by an Elvis impersonator -- who was unavailable at the time -- it was still her dream wedding.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are married -- and wouldn't you know it ... they did it like a couple of kids looking to elope, saying "I do" out in the desert.

According to court records, obtained by TMZ, the couple got a marriage license in Clark County, NV -- which was taken out and processed on Saturday, July 16. It's in both of their names -- their legal ones at that ... Benjamin Geza Affleck and Jennifer Lynn Lopez.

A source connected to Bennifer tells TMZ ... they did, indeed, get hitched ... and the license is a signal they are now man and wife.

TMZ broke the story ... earlier this year, J Lo was spotted wearing an engagement ring when furniture shopping with her 14-year-old child, Emme.

Soon after, Jennifer shared the news with her fans via a video message on her newsletter, she's teary-eyed and simply says, "You're perfect" before you can catch a glimpse of her beautiful green diamond ring.

Ben and Jen first got engaged in late 2002, but called things off in 2004 before they got married. They both went on to have separate relationships, including marriages and kids, but the exes reunited almost a year ago ... and have been seemingly inseparable ever since.

The signs of them tying the knot have been there all along -- as we've reported ... they've been house hunting together -- often bringing their kids along -- and signaled they were aiming for a blended family situation. Despite some of their real estate deals falling through, the couple seems to have settled down in a Beverly Hills estate.

Last month, Jen's car was spotted at a massive estate in Beverly Hills. There were also 4 moving trucks outside the estate -- plus, moving trucks at both Ben and Jen's current homes in the L.A. area.

The house was not listed for sale -- we're told he bought it for around $60 million. It was previously owned by Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman. Now, they're moving in as bride and groom.

John Cena and Shay Shariatzadeh -- two years after legally marrying -- are finally getting the blowout wedding bash that was postponed by COVID ... and TMZ Sports has a photo of the couple!

The photograph captured 45-year-old Cena and 33-year-old Shay as they headed into The Vancouver Club -- one of the nicest venues in the city -- Friday afternoon in Canada.

It's unclear if John and Shay were headed to the actual wedding ceremony or a rehearsal.

Shay -- who is from Vancouver -- wore a white halter cut, backless dress ... and John rocked a navy suit with camel-colored oxfords.

As we previously reported, the couple tied the knot during a private ceremony in Tampa on October 12, 2020. Unfortunately, the pandemic put a damper on the couple's plans ... and they couldn't have a big party to celebrate the nuptials.

Fast forward to this weekend ... and it's finally time to bring the family and friends together, for what's expected to be a star-studded event.

John and Shay began dating in 2019 ... following Cena's split with former fiancée Nikki Bella in 2018.

It's no surprise John and Shay wound up taking a walk down the aisle. The relationship seemed destined for success from the start ... proof being a makeout sesh at a local restaurant shortly after they began seeing one another.

Nick Cannon's sending shockwaves through social media feeds, appearing to propose to one of his lady friends ... just days after he openly yearned for his ex-wife Mariah Carey.

This hugged-up pic with someone who looks a little like Bre Tiesi -- although, we're told it's not her -- included the caption, "I said I would never do it again but…Finally doing what the world wants me to do…"

His post also had a shot of a massive diamond ring.

The post threw Lil Jon and even Nick's former publicist for a loop in the comments section ... especially since Nick recently admitted all his baby mothers don't always see eye to eye.

Of course, Nick being the ultimate hustler of promotion, is more likely simply setting the stage for his "I Do" single rollout, which features Chris Brown.

Released in May as part of his latest album "The Explicit Tape: Raw & B," the song opens up virtually the same way with Nick admitting his dreams of marriage haven't completely faded and Breezy crooning heavy in the melody.

Add father of the bride to Eddie Murphy's long list of accomplishments ... the actor took center stage on the dancefloor to share a dance with his daughter.

Bria Murphy and actor Michael Xavier tied the knot over the weekend in Beverly Hills, and Eddie not only proudly walked his kiddo down the aisle, but danced to "Isn't She Lovely" by Stevie Wonder as their father and daughter song.

Things in the dance started off slow, but in true Eddie form, he got the crowd -- and Bria -- cracking up when the two separated and he pulled off some moves of his own.

Eddie attended the wedding with his fiancee Paige Butcher.

"Love Is Blind" star Shaina Hurley is a married woman, tying the knot with her fiance, Christos Lardakis in a Chicago courthouse -- but it's just stage one of their big wedding plans.

Witnesses at the court tell TMZ ... the couple exchanged vows Saturday morning, and it was an extremely intimate affair -- the only guests were Christos' daughter, and a close friend.

Sources tell us both of their parents gave their blessings for the smaller courthouse wedding -- which they needed to be legally married in the U.S. before going all out, big fat Greek wedding style!

Yes, we're told Shaina and Christos will have a more traditional, and bigger, ceremony later this month in Greece ... with all of their family and friends.

'LIB' fans will recall Shaina had a strong connection in the pods with former costar, Kyle Abrams. Kyle and Shaina actually got engaged while on the reality series, before she called it quits and left the show. Kyle moved on with his other costar Deepti Vempati after filming ended.

Christos popped the question back in March, after nearly a year of dating. Clearly, Shaina's been down this road before, but this time, she's sealed the deal.

Lindsay Lohan could be a married woman ... you'd think that would be clear one way or the other, but it's not.

The 36-year-old posted a message on Instagram Friday, referring to Bader Shammas as her "husband." Her caption ... "🎂❤️🥰I am the luckiest woman in the world. You found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time. I am stunned that you are my husband. My life and my everything. ❤️every woman should feel like this everyday 🙏💖"

Lindsay told the world last November she was engaged to Shammas ... calling him "My love. My life. My family. My future."

She had talked about doing some kind of destination wedding, but we haven't seen evidence of that, though it's possible it happened under the radar.

Nonetheless ... it seems she's now a married woman, but we've also seen before people have thrown out the "husband" and "wife" terms without actually tying the knot.

Sam Asghari says he's still getting used to the fact Britney Spears is his wife, and to wearing a wedding ring -- but he's also keenly aware marriage has its benefits when it comes to his career.

Sam opened up about tying the knot with the pop star, calling their wedding day everything they'd imagined. He told 'GMA' ... he and Britney wanted a fairytale and that's exactly what they got.

The couple got hitched earlier this month at their former Thousand Oaks, CA home, and Sam says the intimate guest list of about 50-70 people was perfect -- "We wanted to celebrate with, you know, our loved ones, our close people. We wanted to just celebrate, and that's what we did."

As for why SA was doing this 'GMA' interview ... well, call it one of the perks of marrying Britney Spears -- he was promoting his role in an action film, where he costars with Mel Gibson.

Sam says he's grateful for any opportunities he gets because of Brit, but clearly doesn't want anyone thinking he's just riding her coattails. As he says, "Let's not take away from the fact I've been working hard, and I was already acting."

Britney Spears nearly came face-to-face with her ex-husband when he attempted to crash her wedding and got inside her home ... so says one of her fired security guards.

Jason Alexander is in court Monday for a preliminary hearing, and witnesses are testifying about what went down the day Britney was getting married to Sam Asghari ... and some of the testimony is terrifying.

One of Britney's security guards -- who's since been fired over the incident -- told the judge Alexander beelined it straight for Britney's bedroom after sneaking onto the property and getting inside the main house. The guard testified, Alexander tried opening Britney's bedroom door while she was inside, but it was locked.

What's more, the guard said Alexander kept repeating that he needed to talk to Britney and was looking for her, even though he was not on the guest list.

TMZ broke the story ... Alexander, who cops say was armed with a knife, live streamed himself getting onto Britney's property and up to the second level of her home, demanding to see her on her wedding day. Police arrested him before he was able to make contact with Britney.

The security guard, who got fired by Britney shortly after the incident, also testified Alexander had been spotted on the outskirts of the property multiple times leading up to the wedding ... including the day before, despite being told to stay away.

Alexander pleaded not guilty to the charges against him ... including felony stalking, plus vandalism, and trespassing battery.

Another witness, a detective with the Ventura County Sheriff, also testified Britney told her longtime agent, Cade Hudson, that Alexander was "scary."

Britney got a 3-year restraining order against Alexander after the wedding fiasco, and her attorney, Mathew Rosengart, says he's doing everything in his power to make sure she's protected.

Britney Spears' blood feud with her parents and sister isn't stopping Lynne Spears from wishing her daughter well ... and hoping against hope they can patch things up.

Brit's mom was at LAX Thursday night when a photog asked about the state of the Spears family from Lynne's perspective. We already know exactly how Britney feels.

So, could the family ever get back together? Lynne makes it clear she's not giving up on that yet ... although, it's unclear how she could possibly make that happen right now.

Mama Spears says she just wants to see her daughter happy ... and she absolutely meant those sentimental words she shared on Instagram right after the wedding.

You'll recall, Britney tied the knot with her hubby Sam Asghari, earlier this month but she didn't invite her parents or her sister, Jamie. But, that didn't stop Lynne from publicly showing her support.

Lynne kept a close watch on her daughter's big day via social media.

In an IG comment, she wrote, "You look radiant and so happy! Your wedding is the 'Dream' wedding! And having it at your home makes it so sentimental and special! I am soooo happy for you! I love you!"

Sam's the man in Iran ... according to one Iranian magazine.

Britney Spears' freshly-minted husband, Sam Asghari, is being celebrated by his home country ... touting Iranian men as the gold standard!

Sam was born in Tehran, so his pic was plastered on the cover of the Tehran International Weekly Magazine with the headline -- "Once You Go Persian There's No Other Version."

The Persian-language SoCal mag is super popular both in the U.S. and internationally as well, so Sam has some pretty impressive bragging rights with his pals.

Sam and Brit tied the knot earlier this month ... he did sign a prenup beforehand, essentially keeping all Britney's assets separate. Nonetheless, they are now a happily married couple.

Britney Spears is back from where she came -- Instagram!!!

Britney re-activated her account Wednesday, with a post about marriage, swimming and steak. In other words ... authentic Brit.

For starters she shared a pic of her, wearing a bikini in her new swimming pool ... the pool attached to the new house she's sharing with hubby Sam.

Here's what she wrote for starters ... "Haven't been on my honeymoon yet ...  got married and moved into a new house around the same time ... not the smartest thing to do ... 🤧🤧🤧 🤔🤔🤔 ... oh well it's coming together ... it's so weird I wake up and everything is new ... new pool ... new kitchen ... new bed ... I think I am in shock !!!"

TMZ broke the news ... Britney scooped up an $11.8 million mansion in Calabasas shortly after tying the knot ... not a stone's throw but still near where Kevin Federline lives with their 2 sons, Sean and Jayden.

Brit seems to be settling into life as a newlywed. She told her fans she's still figuring stuff out, but one thing's for certain -- she likes the inside and outside of her new palace.

She left IG unexpectedly earlier this month, shortly after her wedding ... and another time back in March. Now she's active again and here to let folks know, as she puts it, "life is good 💋💋💋🌹🌹🌹 !!!"

"The X Factor" star Tom Mann suffered a horrible tragedy over the weekend ... his fiancee died just hours before their wedding.

Dani Hampson, a 34-year-old publicist, had no apparent health issues and the cause of her death has not been revealed.

She had posted pics of her and Tom, along with their 8-month-old son Bowie, just days before she died.

Tom and Dani were actually supposed to get married Sept. 25, 2020, but the pandemic got in the way. At the time she posted, "I can't wait to marry you, but the world has other plans."

Dani also had posted a video of Tom -- a member of the group Stereo Kicks -- singing Elton John and Dua Lipa's song, "Cold Heart."

She used the song to wish Bowie, "Happy 6 months my darling boy." She wrote, "I played this song almost every day of my 3rd trimester, it was in my labour playlist & it was number 1 the day Bowie was born… determined for it to be "our song" & for it always remind us of life's good bits."

Tom announced Dani's death Monday, calling her the "brightest light in any room," adding he will miss her forever. He told his followers, "I can't believe I am writing these words but my darling Dani - my best friend, my everything and more, the love of my life - passed away in the early hours of Saturday morning, 18th June. On what was supposed to be the happiest day of our lives ended in irreversible heartbreak."

He went on to say, "I am completely broken trying to process this and I honestly don't know where to go from here, but I do know I need to use any strength I can muster for our little boy."

Tom auditioned as a solo singer for 'X Factor' back in 2014, but producers created the group, Stereo Kicks, of which he was a member.
