Tying The Knot

Kal Penn has come out of the closet in the most surprising of ways -- announcing he's gay in a new book of his, which reveals that he's actually getting married as well.

The actor shared the news through his forthcoming offering, "You Can't Be Serious," via excerpts that leaked over the weekend ... and which is due out this Tuesday. He makes no bones about it ... he's in a relationship with a guy named Josh, whom he's been dating for 11 years.

More importantly, they're on the road to matrimony ... because the couple is engaged. Apparently, Kal met Josh while he was living/working in D.C. under the Obama administration -- for which he worked in an official capacity -- and they've been together since.

He discusses his sexuality this way, "I've always been very public with everybody I've personally interacted with. Whether it's somebody that I meet at a bar, if Josh and I are out or we're talking to friends." He adds, "I'm really excited to share our relationship with readers. But Josh, my partner, my parents, and my brother, four people who I'm closest to in the family, are fairly quiet. They don't love attention and shy away from the limelight."

The guy is getting overwhelming support for finally sharing his truth -- one that's been kept as a secret for years now ... as no one really seems to have known Kal was gay.

He posted a video thanking people for the love he's been getting ... and also shouted out folks whom he sent an early copy of his book to -- with their reaction quotes featured on the back cover.

Kal has traditionally played stoner bros in a lot of the raunchy comedies he's known for, especially from the 'Harold & Kumar' franchise. He's also known for roles from "Designated Survivor," "How I Met Your Mother," "House," "Van Wilder," "Battle Creek" and many more.

Britney Spears' fiance Sam Asghari certainly has a sense of humor when it comes to his bank account compared to his bride-to-be's ... saying his new movie role might help him get out of the financial dumps.

We got Sam leaving Bristol Farms Thursday in West Hollywood, and congratulated him on his new gig -- a movie called "Hot Seat," starring Mel Gibson. Asghari, obviously excited about the opportunity, tells us he loves working, and cracked a pretty good joke about just scratching by with pandemic stimulus checks.

Of course, Britney's worth an estimated $60 million, and from what we're told, Sam spends most of his time at her Thousand Oaks mansion.

Not to mention, he's always by her side in private jets and on elaborate vacations ... so the guy isn't really hurting that much.

It's not the first time Asghari has made light of his financial situation, when the couple first announced they were getting hitched, Britney fans flooded Spears' social media advising her to get a prenup.

Sam clearly saw all of the comments, because he joked the couple was getting an iron clad prenup to protect his Jeep and shoe collection.

Jokes or not, TMZ broke the story ... shortly after their engagement, Britney and team did start to take the necessary steps to draft a prenup.

Teresa Giudice and her new fiance, Luis Ruelas, caused quite a scene when they showed up to an NYC comedy club ... with tons of fans, well-wishers and camera flashes greeting them at the door.

The newly engaged couple hit Caroline's on Broadway Wednesday night to support her brother, Joe Gorga, who had a gig. As soon as they arrived, Teresa and Luis were hit with a flood of cameras and questions -- they stayed mostly silent before heading inside -- but then came back out to take more pics, and flash her new engagement ring.

We got some video inside the club, and backstage Gorga congratulated his sister and future brother-in-law with some nice words ... and a round of shots.

As for his set, Joe had the audience rolling with 'Housewives' jokes ... and Teresa and Luis seemed to be eating it up too.

Ariana Grande buy-eth, and Ariana Grande sell-eth just as fast -- she's unloading her L.A. fortress after a little more than a year of living there ... and turned a small profit.

AG just sold her mansion up in the Hollywood Hills, with a birds-eye view of La La Land below -- scooping a nice and neat $14 million in the sale. No word on where she may be heading next ... but wherever she lands, she'll have more than just one person to think about.

Since snapping the place up back in the summer of 2020 ... Ari's gone through a lot of changes, including her marriage to Dalton Gomez.

Presumably, their next property might become their love nest and permanent home base ... as the possibility of kids and everything else that usually comes after nuptials starts to work its way into the picture.

As for the pad she's leaving behind ... it probably would've worked just fine for a future fam too, as it was NOT lacking in space or luxury. It was a 4-bed, 7-bath modern-day palace -- with a private fitness studio, a 300-bottle wine cellar, a pool and gorgeous views of the city.

Still, maybe they're thinking of a new area ... and perhaps want even more room to spread out than this. Remember ... Ari bought it for a cool $13.7 mil at the time -- so she made about $300k from the sale, and probably broke even after fees and closing costs.

Chris Harrison is getting ready to be a married man -- he just proposed to Lauren Zima ... AND SHE SAID YES!!!

The former 'Bachelor' host announced Monday that he'd popped the question to his entertainment host girlfriend, and she happily accepted, flashing the giant rock and laying a smooch on her hubby-to-be.

Chris took to IG and posted a photo of himself on bended knee and slipping the ring on Lauren's finger, writing ... "I love you @laurenzima The next chapter starts now!" Looks like this engagement moment went down at a winery in Napa Valley.

Lauren -- a host at ET -- reciprocated with her own post, saying ... "We tell each other this all the time, and we said it again in an unforgettably beautiful moment this weekend: I didn’t know love could be like this. You are the most incredible partner. Thank you for loving me, championing me and asking me to marry you. Here’s to the next amazing chapter, and all the rest."

Chris and Lauren have been going strong for at least 2 years now -- they first went public at a pre-SAG Awards party in January 2019, posing on the red carpet together in front of cameras. We've seen them out hand-in-hand several times since then ... even as CH was going through his controversial 'Bachelor' exit. Through it all, Lauren was by his side.

This will be Chris' second marriage -- he was with Gwen Harrison for nearly 18 years, before they split up in 2018. He has two kids from that relationship. This will be Lauren's second marriage as well.

Tarek El Moussa and Heather Rae Young are now husband and wife ... after tying the knot Saturday in a ritzy ceremony.

Eyewitnesses tell TMZ ... they got hitched at The Rosewood Miramar hotel in Montecito ... the same place Travis popped the question to Kourtney Kardashian a week earlier.

Tarek walked his mom down the aisle first and then went back for his daughter Taylor, as Lady Gaga's "Shallow" played in the background. Heather walked down the aisle to some kind of pop music ... unclear which.

The nuptials lasted about half an hour, and it was followed by a fancy cocktail party where guests downed drinks as the wedding party mugged for photos. That was all followed by dinner and night of dancing.

There was a wall with the inscription, "He finally FLIPPED her last name." Kinda clever -- "Flipping 101" meets "Selling Sunset."

The "Selling Sunset" crew was on hand, including both Oppenheimer bros, Mary and her hubby, and Chrishell.

BTW ... Young wore a fitted corset dress with French lace. That's all we know about fashion.

Tarek and his bride will be flying to the Maldives and Dubai for their honeymoon.

Paul Walker's daughter just got hitched ... and, of course, his good pal, Vin Diesel, was there to walk her down the aisle.

Meadow Walker posted videos Friday from her wedding, and it looks like it was a beautiful ceremony somewhere on the oceanside.

Meadow's new husband is actor Louis Thornton-Allan ... and their marriage comes just a few months after they announced their engagement.

Vin always said he and Paul became family working together on the 'Fast and Furious' franchise ... plus, he's Meadow's godfather, so it makes sense he'd be front-and-center for her big day.

TMZ broke the story when Paul died in a fiery 2013 car accident. He was 40 years old and Meadow was just 15 at the time. She's 22 now, and working as a fashion model.

This is Meadow's first marriage -- she and Louis just went public with their relationship in July. Considering the tragedy she's endured, you can understand why they didn't waste time with a long engagement.

Teresa Giudice went to Greece with a boyfriend, but she's coming back with a fiancé.

The "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star just got engaged to her man, Luis Ruelas, on their European getaway. Luis popped the question at the Amanzoe Resort in Porto Heli, Greece.

According to People, he did the whole down on one knee thing while on the beach ... surrounded by candles, roses and a giant "Marry Me?" sign.

Sources tell us that before proposing, Luis went to Teresa's daughters for approval ... and they all gave their blessing.

The trip to Greece has been super romantic, even before Luis made it even more memorable for Teresa. They've been shacking up at the posh resort, going to spas, hitting the beach, dining out and doing helicopter tours.

Teresa and Luis have been creeping closer to wedding bells for a few months now. Remember, we got them out in Beverly Hills this summer and Luis told us 3 times he was planning to ask Teresa for her hand in marriage.

At the time, some thought he was just saying it because our photog kinda put him on the spot, but Luis obviously meant it.

The couple started dating last year -- they met at the Jersey Shore -- after she'd finalized her divorce from Joe Giudice ... ending 20 years of marriage.

Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli are gunning to head south of the border once more -- only this time, its for a wedding ... but first, they'll need to get the all clear from court.

The convicted couple just filed legal docs asking for permission to take a week-long trip down to San Jose del Cabo next month ... where they say they plan to be in attendance for someone's nuptials. Lori and Mossimo say they'd be gone from Nov. 5 to Nov. 12.

As for why they should be allowed to go, the pair note they've been compliant with the terms of their supervised release since getting out of prison. Lori cites the $150k fine she had to fork over as part of her sentence and says she's done with her community service.

Mossimo, for his part, says he's paid his $250k fine and says he's making progress on the community service. In other words ... we've paid for our college admission scandal sins.

Worth noting, this is is the exact same reasoning as last time -- remember, they went to Cabo back in June, and cited the same rationale, which a judge approved. So, ya gotta figure they'll be given the green light again.

Lori and Mossimo also claim their probation offices have their back in the ask -- which should help get it approved.

The judge has yet to rule.

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are all aboard the love train as they prepare to get hitched -- but even after the proposal ... they were still feeling literal about that metaphor.

Anyway, they were in lockstep, strolling to a railroad crossing ... where they locked lips and posed for photos. The train tracks are actually integrated into the design of the Rosewood Beach Hotel in Montecito where the couple got engaged ... so the photo shoot location isn't totally random.

Seems Kourt might've been having some fun with the paps who were firing away from afar ... apparently getting some shots of her own while standing directly on the train tracks. Probably unintended on everyone's part -- but the shot looks pretty cool from this vantage point.

TMZ broke the story ... Travis got on bended knee Sunday evening at a beach resort hotel in the Santa Barbara area -- where he asked Kourtney to be his wife inside a heart-shaped flower arrangement he put together right there on the sand.

Of course, Kourtney said yes ... and both of them seem ready for "forever" with one another. This will be the first time she's getting married -- and it'll be Trav's third time down the aisle.

The engagement came relatively fast -- remember, these two just started publicly dating at the beginning of this year ... and have been infatuated since. Then again, they have a lot of history ... as they were friends way before this, and have been for years.

Kourtney Kardashian is going to be walking down the aisle for the first time in her life -- and she'll be doing it with none other than Travis Barker ... who just popped the big question.

The Blink-182 drummer got on bended knee Sunday at a beachside hotel in Montecito -- where he pulled out all the stops before presenting her with an engagement ring and asking her to be his wife. Of course, she said yes ... and gave him a big smooch to celebrate.

It looks like some of their friends and family were on hand to bear witness -- and Trav laid out an elaborate floral arrangement of roses right there on the sand. As you can see, Kourtney was digging it ... hopping up into his arms as a private photog fired off snaps.

This is pretty stunning news ... because, as you know, the pair just started dated at the beginning of 2021 -- this after being close friends for years, of course. Still, that was fast!

As you've seen -- and as we've documented -- TB and KK have been tied at the hip since getting together and going public ... and have NOT shied away from PDA, be it on the beach, at Disneyland, on the streets of NYC, in Italy -- and lots and LOTS of other places.

BTW, this was hinted at recently by Travis himself -- who said "forever" wasn't long enough when it came to Kourtney. Clearly, he had wedding bells on his mind. Kourtney echoed that sentiment with her own post to announce the news ... throwing up a couple shots and writing, "forever."

It's been quite obvious they're head over heels for each other -- and for them to move on to marriage this quickly speaks volumes about how into each other they are ... especially when you consider Kourtney was with Scott Disick for years -- and had several children by him -- and still didn't get hitched with the guy, even when he bought her a ring way back when.

She also dated Younes Bendjima for a good while a few years ago -- but that didn't go the distance either. Now, she seems ready to take on the journey of happily ever after.

Kanye West showed up for a super-fancy wedding Saturday night and performed, although it's hard to know for sure because his face isn't visible!

Kanye was a guest at the wedding of D'Estree founder Geraldine Guiotte and Tiffany & Co EVP Alexander Arnault. The soiree went down in Venice, Italy. BTW ... he wasn't the only celeb on hand. Beyonce and Jay-Z were also there.

Ye performed "Runaway," wearing all Balenciaga ... with a mask that completely covered his face.

It appears from the vid Kanye was having a little trouble performing ... but hey, looking good is half the battle, right?

He also performed his hit, "Flashing Lights" at the party. You can see in video posted to Twitter how big of a crowd Ye was performing for. Looks like fun!

The reception was actually the couple's second. Their first was in July, so they clearly kept the party going. They've been together since 2019. FACT ... a couple that can stay together during a pandemic can make it through anything.

"Southern Charm" star Madison LeCroy is ready to walk the aisle ... 'cause TMZ's learned she recently got engaged and, no -- it's not to Alex Rodriguez or Jay Cutler.

Sources tell TMZ ... Madison's boyfriend, Brett, popped the question and Madison didn't hesitate for a second with a "Yes," because, as one source put it, he treats her better than any man has before. She also loves that he's a good father-figure to her 8-year-old son, Hudson.

Our sources say Madison and Brett didn't meet that long ago and weren't even living in the same state when they first started dating.

We're told the relationship is so mysterious ... a lot of her friends haven't met Brett but she's ALWAYS talking about how much she cares about him. Back in April, Madison, who previously dated co-star Austen Kroll, teased on social media she was dating someone new. And, 2 months later, she and Brett went IG official.

The engagement comes not long after Madison was rumored to be at the center of A-Rod's split with Jennifer Lopez. Remember, there were claims A-Rod got cozy with Madison, but A-Rod's team said they never even met.

She had also previously been linked to ex-Bears QB Cutler... though that was a brief fling. Nevertheless, Madison now seems more than content to have a new man.

While we don't know much else right now about the relationship, our sources say Madison and Brett's relationship is documented in the upcoming 8th season of "Southern Charm" ... though it's unclear if production cameras captured the proposal.

Derrick Rose just secured the first win at Madison Square Garden this season ... 'cause the hooper proposed to his girlfriend on the court -- and she said, "YES!!"

The Knicks guard shared the awesome news Tuesday night ... posting a photo of him and 26-year-old Alaina Anderson wining and dining privately at half court.

"Just got engaged in MSG nothing major!" Anderson said on IG. "A WIFE!!!! I love you!!!! 😍😍😍 MRS ROSE TO YALL LOL"

And, you can't help but notice the absolutely huge diamond ring on Alaina's ring finger!!

Alaina says she wasn't expecting it, even with the private dinner at MSG -- 'cause Rose gave her a promise ring the day before saying, "hopefully one day I can get you the real thing."

Rose wrote a poem to his future wife ... saying, "Believe the words that I will have your back and love u forever. When I FIRST saw you I told Ryan that we were gon be together."

The lovely couple has reportedly been together since his Chicago Bulls days in 2016 ... and welcomed their daughter, Layla, in 2018 and son, London, in 2019.

President Biden is starting his week off with a wedding ... because his nephew is about to tie the knot with a real housewife.

The White House says the President and First Lady Jill Biden will be in attendance when Biden's nephew, Cuffe Owens, marries 'Real Housewives of Orange County' star Meghan O'Toole King today.

Monday's ceremony is said to be pretty small and reserved for family ... and it's going down at the home of Biden's sister, Valerie Owens.

Cuffe is a 42-year-old attorney based in Los Angeles, and he only recently went public with his relationship with Meghan.

It's the third marriage for Meghan ... remember, her last marriage to former MLB star Jim Edmonds ended in a messy divorce complete with a nude text messaging scandal and alleged infidelity with their nanny.

POTUS is attending the wedding after spending the weekend back home in Delaware, then it's back to The White House.

No word if Biden's planning to say a few words at the ceremony.

Andy Murray will certainly be kicking himself for a while … ‘cause the tennis star says his wedding ring was stolen -- and it's all 'cause he left it out in public with some sweaty shoes.

Murray detailed the debacle on his social media page Thursday ... explaining he had to ditch his tennis shoes underneath his car overnight after a workout because the kicks were so sweaty and smelly.

The problem ... Murray had forgotten he had tied his ring to the shoes (he weaves it into the laces because he can't play with it on his hand) -- and when he says someone swiped the pair overnight, he lost his priceless jewelry!!

"When I got back to the car in the morning the shoes were gone," Murray said, adding, "Yes, I know I'm an idiot and in hindsight it seems like a terrible idea."

The 34-year-old is now begging the public to help him get his ring back ... admitting his wife, Kim, ain't pleased with him one bit over it all.

"Needless to say, I'm in the bad books at home," Murray said. "So I want to try and find it. So if anyone can share this or may have any clue where they may be would be very helpful so I can try and get it back and get to the bottom of it. It would be much appreciated.”

No word if there's lead on a suspect ... but seems clear if he can't find it -- he's going to have a lot of kissing up to do Kim when he gets home.
