The United States Supreme Court is temporarily the backdrop for a stunning memorial to the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Flowers, American flags and messages of condolence filled the area around the Courthouse steps as a steady stream of people came to pay their respects. Some folks wept as other sat silently or prayed.

Senator Elizabeth Warren spoke Saturday night on High Court steps, leading the crowd in a chant honoring RBG ... "I will fight!"

That fight is quickly becoming the centerpiece of the 2020 election. Trump says he will nominate someone -- he says probably a woman -- sometime this coming week. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has already vowed to ramrod it through the Senate, much to the outrage of Democrats and some Republicans. As you know, McConnell and co. blocked President Obama's nomination 11 months before his term ended, saying it was appropriate to wait for the next President. One thing's clear ... politics reigns over consistency.

If Trump gets his nominee confirmed, the Court would tilt right by a 6-3 margin, affecting everything from abortion to immigration, from health care to all issues of equality.

TikTok users around the U.S. are probably sighing with relief, 'cause President Trump appears to now be cool with the social media app partnering up with Oracle and Walmart.

DT drastically changed his tune Saturday, telling reporters at the White House he'd given the deal his "blessing" while going on to sing Oracle and Walmart's praises as trustworthy partners in guarding Americans' data and privacy. Literally, a full, bizarre 180 here.

There were also some specifics ... like the fact the new, U.S., ran TikTok would likely be based out of Texas, and that a bunch of new jobs would result.

He went on to guarantee the American version of the app would NOT be in any way affiliated with China, and that security would be a top priority. Trump also said TikTok would be ponying up $5M in charity money toward education causes, and would pay a lot of taxes.

Just a day prior, Trump was promising TikTok, as well as WeChat, wouldn't be available to download come Sunday -- because he was unhappy with the initial terms Oracle and TikTok had come to last weekend.

TikTok had actually resorted to legal action to stop the de facto ban, but it would seem talks over the past 24 hours -- not to mention the inclusion of Walmart -- made the guy cozy up to the idea. So, in other words, banishment averted ... and influencers can carry on dancing.

TikTok itself appeared to confirm the news they weren't going anywhere, saying they were pleased that the deal had addressed Trump's national security concerns.

Talk about being ahead of the curve ... this little guy is only halfway through his first year of life and already getting a taste of the water sports life, and handling it pretty freakin' well!

Meet Rich Humphreys, who's only 6 months old ... and apparently a waterskiing/wakeboarding prodigy. Check out this video that his parents posted of him holding his own on Lake Powell out in Utah. The kid's literally standing up and balancing himself as the boat pulls him.

His ma, Mindi, writes ... "Worlds youngest water skier!! #worldrecord 6 months 4 days old." Rich's pop, Casey, was just as stoked, saying ... " 6 months 4 days! Take one look at this kid and tell me he isn’t having the time of his life! Such a little stud! #worldrecord."

Indeed, he certainly looks like he's enjoying himself. What's unclear (and even crazier to think about) is if Rich can even walk yet!!! Obviously, the kid can get up on his own, but if he can water ski before he can even take his first steps ... he may be destined for this water life.

Speaking of which ... Mindi and Casey have made it quite clear that their boy is quite the outdoorsman. Rich has his own IG page, and he sure seems to dig roughin' it ... especially when H20 is involved.

What one Michigander thought was a joke could possibly land them in legal trouble after they put a toilet in their front yard and instructed folks to leave their mail-in ballots inside.

This is wild ... a Democratic election official named Barb Byrum -- a clerk for Ingham County -- filed a police report ratting out a resident in the city of Mason who recently pulled this cringe-worthy stunt, which obviously isn't meant to be taken literally or seriously.

Doesn't matter though, because Byrum contends that what this person did -- telling folks (whether in jest or not) to drop off their ballots in her toilet via signage -- is actually illegal, and amounts to election tampering. Byrum says it's against the law to take illegal possession of an absentee ballot, and feels like this display could mislead people about the process.

So, in other words ... she's worried some doofus might actually come by and drop their ballots in the toilet, thinking this is a legit way of it being counted. Sounds crazy, but hey ... Barb here is just looking out for the newbies who might be voting for the first time.

If this sounds extreme and over the top ... let it be a sign of where we are in this country, with President Trump sewing doubt over the election process, especially as it pertains to mail-in voting. It would seem some people are trying to make a tongue-in-cheek gag out of it, but clearly the folks running the election process there on the ground don't find it funny.

A group of Southern California Native Americans opted not to strike back as they were being pummeled by a woman who didn't like their protest against Trump's border wall.

This was posted by a group called Defend Kumeyaay Land -- natives who originated in San Diego County -- and while members of their tribe were out by the border Friday protesting the ongoing construction of more barriers, they were confronted by a very handsy, violent lady.

The woman comes off as the aggressor, charging the group and telling them to scram -- while also hurling xenophobic remarks and telling the group this is her land, not theirs.

They tell her she's being recorded, and that angers her even more ... at which point she starts swinging on them, pushing them and locking arms with them as they try fending off her blows and peacefully restraining her. What they say they won't do ... hit back, not at all.

You have to watch this for yourself, because it is incredibly powerful -- the Kumeyaay natives repeat over and over that they're non-violent and that they will NOT reciprocate her attack.

Eventually, the woman seems to get worn down and almost bitter at the fact they're not matching her energy ... so they one-up her with kindness once more, forming a prayer circle around her and carrying on in a chant. The woman seems dumbfounded, and then mocks them.

BTW, this is far from the only peaceful face-off they've had with folks down there of late -- the Kumeyaayans have been actively discouraging the further construction of the border wall on what they deem their native land, saying they've chased off some construction workers with song and dance ... or at the very least, pausing it. It's a pretty incredible demonstration.

A Donald Trump supporter is facing a felony child abuse charge after attacking a 13-year-old girl with a flagpole.

The confrontation went down in Clay County, Florida. 67-year-old Norbert Logsdon was demonstrating with Trumpers, when a car driven by Crystal Ledoux passed by. Ledoux says Logsdon was giving drivers -- presumably the ones who expressed opposing views -- the middle finger. Ledoux says she made a U-ey, returned to the area where Logsdon was demonstrating and she and her daughter screamed, "Biden 2020!"

That's when you see Logsdon beeline it for Ledoux's car and shove the flagpole inside, reportedly striking Ledoux's 13-year-old daughter in the chest and face.

Racial tension is boiling over in a Georgia Walmart ... where a Black shopper says a white woman called her the n-word and, as you'd imagine, things got very heated afterward.

The heated confrontation went down Thursday in Stone Mountain, GA ... and video shows a Black shopper daring a white woman to call her "n*****" again.

Things get pretty tense in the checkout line, with the Black shopper threatening violence if the white woman utters a racial slur to her face.

According to the person who shot the video, the white woman tried cutting the line and called the Black shopper the n-word at least two times before the recording started.

Fortunately, cooler heads prevail and there was no physical violence this time. Side note: everyone in this video is at least complying with store rules and wearing a mask. As we've seen, that's not a given these days.

President Trump's a big step closer to going through with his threat to cancel TikTok, but another Chinese-owned app -- WeChat -- is being dealt a more significant blow first ... perhaps as a warning shot.

The Trump administration announced Friday TikTok and WeChat -- which have more than 100 million American users -- will be yanked from U.S. app stores starting Sunday. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross said the move shows POTUS "will do everything in his power to guarantee our national security and protect Americans from the threats of the Chinese Communist Party."

Ross added the new ban will hurt WeChat way more at first because it means U.S. users will no longer be able to transfer funds or process payments using the app -- and it will severely cripple any business the app can do with U.S. companies.

The administration is giving TikTok until November 12 before it's dealt the same restrictions as WeChat. Wilbur says the only major change Sunday for Tiktok is users won't have access to updated or upgraded versions of the app or maintenance.

Of course, it will also no longer be on the app store ... so new users can't download it either.

As we've reported ... TikTok is currently in talks with American software maker Oracle to be acquired by the company, which could help it dodge Trump's national security concerns.

Trump is expected to speak on the potential Oracle deal later Friday.

'Big Brother' fans are calling for houseguest Memphis Garrett to be removed from the competition after some say they heard him drop the n-word in reference to a Black competitor.

During the after-hours of the 'BB' live feed late Wednesday night ... Memphis was having a conversation with Cody Calafiore about David Alexander, who is Black. Many viewers, who reacted on social media, believe they heard Memphis say, "Dude, David's a n****r" before getting a hand signal from Cody to stop talking.

Another camera angle shows Memphis had a look on his face, right after the remark, seeming to realize he messed up big time.

A change.org petition is circulating to get Memphis removed from the show -- and it says, "If left unchecked, we could be witnessing real life harm from a privileged white a**hole upon a black man who is ALONE in the house, after almost all the other people of color have been evicted / threatened. THIS IS NOT OKAY!!!"

This isn't the first major controversy of this 'All-Star' season of the popular CBS reality show. Just last week, Memphis -- along with houseguests Christmas Abbott, Dani Briones and Nicole Franzel -- were caught mocking fellow houseguest Ian Terry over his autism.

Of course, bullying and bigotry have been causes for controversy many times on "Big Brother" ... the show has dealt with multiple racist and misogynist issues over the years.

We know Jason Momoa's king of the seas, but Aquaman's having trouble on dry land -- his car's broken down, so he's doing the best he can ... shirtless. What's a superhero gotta do to get a tow these days??

Jason's sweating it out in 110 degrees after his car radiator bit the dust. Looks like he's in the desert outside L.A., just in case you're in the area. He seems far from panicked though.

In fact, with his shirt off, kicking it on his cooler -- now doubling as a lawn chair -- he seems as chill as if he'd be on a beach as he waits for some help.

We usually see Jason tooling around town on his vintage 1947 Harley, but motorcycles aren't ideal for long drives through the desert heat. Of course, looks like his car couldn't hold up either.

Desert treks are kinda jinxed for Jason -- remember, his private jet made an emergency landing in Palm Springs last year ... adding some scary adventure to his short trip from L.A. to Phoenix.

Maybe Aquaman should stick to water. In the meantime, someone give this guy a lift!!!

A pizza delivery man got a double whammy -- getting fired over his Black Lives Matter mask and then getting cited by cops over what happened when he was fired.

The incident went down in Milwaukee, where Patrick McVey says he got fired for wearing his BLM mask while delivering for Rosati's. Patrick, who is white, got pulled outside for a chat with the joint's owner, who told him the rules -- no politics, no religion and no cursing.

In the video, the owner says, for him, the BLM mask intersects with politics -- and he tells Patrick it's far too controversial to wear while making deliveries.

The September 10 exchange was actually pretty calm up until the owner asked Patrick, "Will you adhere to my rules or not?" When Patrick replied, "No," the owner said he's fired and turned to walk back inside. That's when he realized Patrick was recording him with his phone ... and the owner wasn't having it.

He lunged at Patrick and grabbed his phone -- but you can hear Patrick get pissed off, saying call the cops.

Here's one more thing to add to your "This Can't Be Happening 2020" f***-it list -- folks are sliding into DMs for some lovin' ... but not for booty calls, more so marry-me-buys.

It's true ... with pretty much all of us being quarantined and hesitant and/or prohibited from going into shops these days, love birds are starting to flock to the digital space to find their engagement rings -- especially on IG and TikTok, which is proving to be oh so fruitful.

Take The Clear Cut, for example -- a huge company that's shifted to social media to facilitate sales, and we gotta say ... they're kinda genius, 'cause the numbers are jumping.

TCC's co-founder, Kyle Simon, tells TMZ that they've seen a whopping 330% increase in revenue over the past few months ... ever since they started posting their engagement ring selection on the 'Gram and TikTok, which we're told they get hit up about directly now.

Yes ... that means customers are literally sliding into their DMs to ask about specific items they've seen and wanna buy. From there, Simon and co. take them to the next phase.

Clear Cut has a huge product line, but we're told engagement rings specifically are flying off their digital shelves faster than they can stock 'em ... and that the most expensive ones they've agreed to sell via social media ran about $70k. On average, they're flipping $20k rocks.

Hey, nobody said getting married was cheap! Anyway, the point is ... CCJ is now doing 80% of their business on Instagram, and siphoning traffic from their TikTok account too. It's wild.

As for why this is happening -- especially the pricier splurges we're told they're experiencing -- Simon says people's budgets have changed ... no more forking out an arm and a leg for venues, honeymoons or anything else uber expensive (at least not for now) ... so more people are spending that extra dough on the ring they wanna put on someone's finger.

A monkey stole a man's smartphone in Malaysia, and when the guy finally got it back he discovered a ton of monkey selfies!!!

The long-tailed macaque swiped the phone from the man's home in Johor, and it could've started a personal Instagram ... because the camera is now filled with hilarious selfies, including upside-down snaps, slow-motion videos, time-lapses and portraits.

It's pretty funny ... the mischievous monkey might have been pretty hungry, some of the images look like he's trying to eat the phone!

The man says he awoke from a nap and his phone was gone from its case, and the device was MIA for 2 days before finally hearing it ringing in his backyard, which is on the edge of a jungle.

President Trump got grilled by voters who identify as undecided, and it was a far cry from his rallies as several of them held his feet to the fire on issues like healthcare and systemic racism ... and didn't back down.

The Prez was challenged with many tough questions at an ABC News town hall in Philadelphia Tuesday night ... in particular 2 undecided voters.

Assistant Professor Ellesia Blaque told Trump how she has struggled with a preexisting medical condition all her life, adding it's especially difficult for her as a black woman to get adequate medical care. Trump tried to interrupt her but she wasn't having it and shut him down.

Trump predictably went after Obama and spewed a couple of lies about the Affordable Care Act ... but it didn't go unchecked by ABC's George Stephanopoulos. Like we said -- this was no Trump rally.

Samuel L. Jackson is keeping his word and now teaching Americans how to curse in 15 languages ... after fans show him they'll get out and vote.

The legendary actor dropped a 2-minute video ... teaching us how to curse in 15 different languages ... after fans showed up and blew past the Voter Action Goal for the #GoodToVote campaign.

Earlier this week, SLJ solicited 2,500 fans minimum to prove their commitment to voting ... by registering to vote, checking voter registration rolls, or simply making a plan to vote. And after fans came through ... so did Mr. Jackson.

Samuel wastes no time showing fans how to curse in Basque, Vietnamese, Ukrainian and Swahili, among other languages. Samuel -- who BTW dropped 40 "motherf*****s in "Shaft" alone -- thanked fans for pledging to vote.

Trailblazers stars Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum took the ultimate low road and clowned THE HELL out of the Clippers for their early playoff exit ... and it's saaavaagggeeee!!!

In case you weren't aware ... Lillard and McCollum have big beef with the Clips -- and it all stems from a non-playoff bubble game back in early August.

During the Portland-L.A. matchup ... Lillard wasn't his usual clutch self -- and Clips star Patrick Beverley let him hear it -- chirping and laughing at the guard as L.A. won the game.

Afterward, Lillard, Beverly and Paul George all got into a spat on social media ... with Beverly and George believing at the time Lillard wasn't going to make the playoffs.

In one of Beverly's comments toward Lillard ... the Clippers guard said "Cancun on 3" -- insinuating Damian would be off to Mexico instead of chasing a world title.

Turns out, Lillard and McCollum DID get into the playoffs ... and despite losing in the 1st round to the Lakers -- they never forgot the smack talk, and returned the favor BIG TIME after L.A. was shockingly bounced by the Denver Nuggets in the conference semi-finals Tuesday.

"I guess I should extend this Cancun invite since I haven’t made my arrangements yet," Lillard shot at Beverly.

"I’ll bring the wine," McCollum added. "Weather nice as ever too."

McCollum continued, "My last tweet before I finish this glass. They did vote they ain’t wanna play no more. . . But I didn’t think they was gonna go out like that."
