Coronavirus Guy Coughs, Licks Bank Door ... Pissed Over Adjusted Hours

Evil Man Coughing
Unnecessary Evil

This coronavirus-fueled rant comes to you courtesy of one pissed off Canadian ... who stormed out of a bank, licking the door as he went!!!

The disgusting, and potentially criminal, incident happened in British Columbia ... and the customer was VERY angry about the TD Canada Trust branch adjusting its business hours to accommodate senior citizens.

The new hours meant this guy was turned away, and as he left in a rage last week he was yelling obscenities, but worst of all -- with grave concerns about spreading the virus -- he stopped and slathered his tongue all over the glass door and handle.

It's just the latest insane behavior we've seen with people resorting to their bodily fluids as a weapon of choice. A similar scene played out in a California Walmart last week.

The Canadian guy made such a scene, witnesses reported him to police and even provided his license plate. Cops up there tell us they've identified the suspect and they're working with prosecutors to determine if they want to charge him with a crime. If so, we're told he will be arrested.

That old saying has never applied more -- say it (your frustrations), do NOT spray it.

Ezra Miller Appears to Chokeslam Woman ... Gets Kicked Out of Bar

YOU'RE GOING DOWN!!!

Ezra Miller appeared to have a physical altercation with a woman in Iceland, and though it started out seeming like a joke ... people at the bar took it very seriously.

According to our sources ... "The Flash" star was visiting the Prikið Kaffihús bar in Reykjavik on April 1 when this went down. Take a look, Miller seemed to be pretending to be annoyed as a smiling woman danced toward him -- but then he said, "Did you wanna fight? Is that the deal?"

The actor grabbed her by the throat and attempted to throw her down, at which point the person recording the video says, "Whoa, bro. Bro. Bro," and stops shooting.

It's unclear what led to the altercation or if the woman suffered any injuries. Sources at the bar tell us police were not called, but Ezra got booted. He's reportedly a regular at the trendy spot whenever he's in town.

We reached out to Ezra's team ... so far, no word back.

One other thing ... social distancing. Yeah, that clearly didn't happen in this instance ... however, Iceland has not instituted that guideline. They've simply banned gatherings of more than 100 people.

MLB's Todd Helton Gets Jail Time ... Over 2019 DUI

Published | Updated

Colorado Rockies legend Todd Helton was sentenced to 2 days in jail over a 2019 incident ... this after the 46-year-old pleaded guilty to DUI in court last month.

Todd was busted in Knoxville, Tenn. on March 18, 2019 after cops say the former MLB first baseman lost control of his truck and crashed it into a telephone pole.

Officers say when they arrived on scene ... Helton was being taken care of by emergency medical personnel -- and had admitted to taking Ambien before getting behind the wheel.

But, in the police report, cops say they found a plastic cup that reeked of booze inside his ride ... and eventually, they issued a misdemeanor DUI citation to the ex-baseball player.

Helton entered a treatment program immediately after the crash after expressing remorse for his actions, but the case dragged on in court for nearly a year before he finally cut a plea deal with prosecutors on March 10.

A spokesperson for the Knox County district attorney's office tells TMZ Sports that in exchange for pleading guilty-as-charged to DUI ... he received a sentence of 48 hours in custody.

Helton also received 11 months and 29 days on unsupervised probation, a $350 fine and got his license suspended for 1 year. Helton was also ordered to attend a Victim Impact Panel.

We reached out to Helton's attorney for comment, but so far, no word back yet.

Of course, this was not Todd's first run-in with DUI trouble ... he pleaded guilty to driving while ability impaired back in 2013 in Colorado.

Helton -- who played his college baseball at the University of Tennessee -- is considered the greatest Rockie of all-time ... and is expected to push for a spot in baseball's Hall of Fame someday.

Coronavirus You're Kidding, Right? ... Rolling the Dice on the Virus

Published | Updated

There's an ancient song by Peter Paul and Mary, which lyrics include this -- "When will they ever learn?" -- and it has sudden relevance today because open-air markets were packed this weekend, and it's insane.

Check out the Studio City Farmers Market in L.A. Sunday, packed with scores of people crowding in ... some of whom were not wearing face masks. Again, the mask protects people from those who might have the virus, and people who know what they're talking about are urging everyone to wear anything other than the professional-grade masks when they're out and about.

And, look at this ... a line of people way closer than 6 feet apart are lining a sidewalk outside of a Hermosa Beach (SoCal.) bar, drinking, talking and violating social distancing rules.

L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti announced a temporary suspension of all farmers markets until they could come up with a workable, safe plan. Fact is ... it's not happening in L.A. or elsewhere.

The good news ... Garcetti shut down the Brentwood Farmer's Market after there were insanely large crowds packed in last weekend, but the Market has now changed its ways ... and people are staying appropriately apart.

This is a problem all over the country, and it underscores the need for the federal government to step up and URGE ALL GOVERNORS to impose a stay-at-home order because it's hard enough even when an order is in place.

Tekashi 6ix9ine Post-Release Already Trolling ... Garcetti Wants Snitches? I'm Here!!!

Published | Updated

Tekashi 6ix9ine is back to his trolling ways since getting out of prison -- his first order of business ... letting L.A.'s Mayor know he's down to rat out quarantine breakers.

The rapper just commented on an IG post by TSR, which captured a photo/headline of Mayor Eric Garcetti telling Los Angelenos he would be willing to offer "rewards" to folks who snitch on businesses and others blatantly breaking the city-wide, stay-at-home order.

Tekashi's official two cents ... "Coming to the rescue." Short and sweet, but it speaks volumes (somewhat hilariously) for a number of reasons.

For starters, this appears to be 6ix9ine's first social media interaction that we've seen from his official account in a long time -- since November 2018, in fact, when he first got locked up on racketeering charges -- so it's noteworthy in that sense. Out of prison, back online.

Also, it's funny Tekashi's commenting on a timely topic -- namely, the coronavirus chaos happening all around us -- while also touching on something he knows all too well ... singing like a canary. Granted he's in NYC, not L.A. ... but it's the thought that counts.

Of course, if Tekashi was on the West Coast ... there'd be plenty of snitching he could do for Garcetti, as people continue to flock to public spaces and disregard social distancing -- like in Hermosa Beach this weekend, where people were out and about along trails there.

If his music career doesn't take off again like he'd planned, maybe the dude's got a career in comedy. He's got us chuckling 😅

Coronavirus D.C. Residents Packed in Like Sardines ... Shopping for Crab

Published | Updated

A super-popular weekend spot in the nation's capital was super dangerous Saturday, when crowds of people swarmed into a relatively tight space, squarely violating social distancing rules.

Check out the pic of the Wharf, where lots of locals descend to buy fresh seafood ... especially crab legs and shrimp.

D.C. has a stay-at-home order, but people are allowed to go out and shop.  Problem here ... they're WAY too close together. Notice the sign, warning people to stay 6 feet apart.

Some are wearing masks ... but most aren't.

It's actually pretty incredible because at this point you have to be living under a rock not to understand the need to keep your distance.

The Deputy Mayor shut the market down Saturday night.

As we reported, mayors of various cities have shut these open markets down. TMZ first reported, Katherine Schwarzenegger blew the whistle on shoppers at the Brentwood Farmers Market last weekend, and when she did Mayor Eric Garcetti swiftly shut the market down until safety measures were enacted.

CORONAVIRUS BLOWS

Well, this is frightening ... a Texas pastor is selling a new cure for the virus ... just blow it away.

Check out this video from Televangelist Kenneth Copeland, who sermonized to his congregation Thursday that with a little wind and heat, he could take the wind out of the sails of the deadly virus.

Copeland, who heads up the Copeland Ministries out of Fort Worth, has been in the biz for 52 years, but this sermon has gotta take the cake.

He has promised his congregants that the virus would end soon.

Let's hope Trump doesn't hear about the Pastor's "cure."

American Airlines Passenger Boards Flight w/ One Other ... Empty Cabins New Normal

Published | Updated

Just about every industry in America is being hit hard by the coronavirus -- but when you have the whole plane pretty much to yourself ... you know airlines are especially screwed.

Meet Dan Nolan, who took an American Airlines flight Saturday from Newburgh, NY to Philly, and would later connect to an L.A. flight. Along the way, he walked into an empty cabin -- save for one other passenger traveling with him -- and it truly made for a surreal scene.

Rows and rows of empty seats, except for Dan and other fella. Yeah, he had some fun with it ... but this reality is becoming more and more common. And, frankly, it's concerning on a number of fronts.

For one, it's a testament to how doused the air travel industry is with coronavirus woes right now. Very few are flying at the moment, and airlines have cut back their flight schedules significantly. Meanwhile, the government hasn't shut 'em down yet -- as they're deemed essential. The more and more of this we see, though, might change that.

Frankly, it's probably more expensive to operate these planes and flights -- even just the domestic ones -- than the money they're seeing coming in from anyone booking tickets. At the end of the day, airlines might have to seriously self-regulate to avoid going under.

The new stimulus package that just passed will certainly help in avoiding that, but still ... the longer this goes on, the more dire it becomes. Not just that, but some flight attendants have also expressed concerns about having to continue working, worrying about getting sick.

Circling back to Dan, he says there was just one flight attendant on-board, and she did the whole safety spiel. No cart service, but more upsetting -- no upgrade from coach ... seriously.

Mike Leach Apologizes For 'Noose' Tweet ... MSU Players Call Him Out

Published

Mississippi State football coach Mike Leach issued an apology Thursday after posting a stupid coronavirus meme of a woman making a noose.

"After 2 weeks of quarantine with her husband, Gertrude decided to knit him a scarf," the caption on the meme said.

Get it? The woman wants to kill herself after having to spend time with her husband?! Wacka, wacka, wacka!

Yeah, Leach's players weren't laughing. In fact, two Mississippi St. players actually called Leach out on social media.

Defensive lineman Fabien Lovett responded to the tweet with "WTF." Senior defensive end Kobe Jones added to Lovett's tweet, saying, "Facts. He tripping."

Leach, ultimately realizing how dumb it was to post the meme, apologized.

"I sincerely regret if my choice of images in my tweets were found offensive," Leach said ... "I had no intention of offending anyone."
