Kodak Black Tour Bus Raided by FBI ... Nobody Charged Yet

Published | Updated

12:22 PM PT -- The U.S. Attorney's Office says it's not moving forward with charges at this time, but the investigation is continuing.

11:21 AM PT -- We just got this video of Kodak before his show in D.C. and he's grabbing some seafood down the street from the concert venue ... and the sighting is from around the same time the tour bus raid was starting.

GETTIN' SOME GRUB

7:00 AM PT -- According to cops, they confiscated 4 Glock handguns with magazines. Five people were arrested -- none of them Kodak -- and all were booked for carrying a pistol without a license and possession of large capacity magazines.

Police emphasized they can't confirm the raided bus was Kodak's ... only that it was connected to the show.

4/25 -- A rep for Kodak tells TMZ, "Kodak was 100% not arrested, he is en route to NYC for his sold out show tomorrow night at United Palace."

A tour bus parked outside Kodak Black's Washington D.C. concert just got raided by the FBI and local police while the rapper was inside the venue performing.

You can see in the photos -- obtained by TMZ -- several FBI agents standing outside the bus ... we're told those who were inside the bus were placed in handcuffs and brought outside the vehicle. It's currently unclear if the bus was Kodak's, belonged to crew or other members of the tour.

The agents searched the luggage underneath the bus, everything inside, and the area surrounding the bus is completely roped off.

Sources on scene tell us the feds attempted to enter the venue -- The Anthem -- where Kodak was performing, but promoters did not allow them inside.

It's another possible black eye for Kodak's tour ... as we first told you, Kodak was arrested just last week on weapons and gun charges at the Canada-U.S. border on his way from Detroit to Boston between shows. Cops say they found weed and a gun in the car he was driving.

We reached out to the FBI and local authorities ... so far, no word back.

Tupac Crip Tied to Murder Case Gets Prison for Slinging Crack

Published | Updated

The reputed gang leader connected to Tupac's murder case is finally gonna do hard time -- but for a completely separate case ... TMZ has learned.

Darnell Brim is getting 10 years in federal prison after ATF agents caught him trying to sell crack cocaine. Brim is believed to be one of 4 men who were riding in the white Cadillac that pulled up to Suge Knight's car in 1996 in Las Vegas. Someone in that car opened fire, killing Tupac.

Brim was busted during a 2013 sting operation. He pled guilty to 2 felonies -- conspiracy to distribute crack and distribution of crack.

As you well know by now, Tupac's murder has never been solved, but according to 1996 LAPD records, investigators believed Brim -- a notorious South Side Compton Crips leader -- was in the white Caddy that was "used by the suspect(s) who shot Tupac Shakur."

Although he was never charged in the case, Brim was hit in a Compton drive-by shooting just 2 days after Tupac's murder -- and cops believe it was retaliation for Pac.

Cops say he was also carrying a ton of ammo and a bulletproof vest ... as well as some weed.

Telfair pled not guilty and fought the charges ... but was found guilty by a jury in NYC on Wednesday of felony criminal possession of a weapon, according to our law enforcement sources.

Wendy Williams Cops Investigated Anonymous Claim Husband Was Poisoning Her

Published | Updated

Cops paid Wendy Williams a visit to check on her after a random caller alleged her husband, Kevin Hunter, was poisoning the talk show host.

According to the police report ... the outrageous call, made back in January, came from someone claiming to work for Williams' production company. The caller believed Kevin was slipping Wendy something harmful, and he or she wanted cops to check on her.

The report says 2 officers went to Williams' New Jersey residence and were greeted by Hunter, who was hesitant to let them in for the welfare check because he said Wendy was sick and recovering from a health problem.

Cops say they explained to Hunter they were required to speak with Williams due to the anonymous call. When he allowed them to enter, they found Williams in bed "with the blanket covering from neck to toe."

According to the report ... one of the officers asked Kevin to leave the bedroom so they could talk to Wendy alone, but he didn't want to leave her side. As for the health problem she had -- Wendy told cops she was recovering from a broken shoulder.

An officer eventually asked her if there was any truth to the anonymous tip she was being poisoned, and Wendy responded with something like ... "Well, I'm very popular." When the cop repeated the question, the report says she became tearful, but denied there was any truth to it.

The cops left after Wendy told them once more she was okay.

HERE'S HOW I'M DOIN'

As we reported ... Williams filed for divorce from Hunter this month amid cheating rumors, and just weeks after she returned to her show and announced she was living in a sober home and getting treatment for addiction.

She was on hiatus from her show at the time cops performed that welfare check.

Kevin -- who was also an executive producer -- has now left the show in wake of the divorce filing.

Justin, of course, was born in Canada and not long ago had huge plans on applying to become an American citizen. The kid's literally taking over the world, eh?!

The Biebs' got good timing ... Conor sent his love all the way from Dublin where he was there taking part of an exhibition boxing match. Conor kicked ass ... and now he has 2 reasons to slam back a few Proper Twelve shots.

Ben & Jerry's Makes Blazing Statement on 4/20 Calls Out White Privilege

Published | Updated

Ben & Jerry's got blunt on 4/20 by going to battle for the disproportionate amount of minorities getting the shaft when it comes to weed busts.

The famous ice cream company made their thoughts very well known in a 29-second clip calling out white privilege ... straight-up saying it's hard to celebrate 4/20 when so many people of color are still being arrested for pot. Ben & Jerry's thinks that ain't right.

Check out the video ... the company wants to celebrate the holiest of holidays for stoners, but while also making sure legalization doesn't leave people of color behind. It also calls on the judicial system to expunge EVERYBODY'S weed convictions.

BTW ... weed is legal in 33 states but, according to one study, black people in NYC are 8 times more likely to be arrested for weed than whites. Ben & Jerry's says that's NOT cool.

Now that's a company that knows its audience.

Conor McGregor Dominates in Exhibition Boxing Match ... Watch the Signature Strut in Headgear!!!

Published | Updated

Paging Floyd Mayweather ... Conor McGregor is boxing again!!!

The UFC superstar competed in an exhibition match late Friday night at his OG gym in Crumlin, Ireland. Sure, Conor's wearing headgear so already you know it's basically a sparring sesh. But, he looked great and, in typical Conor fashion, he showboated throughout the match.

Check out the video ... Conor squares off against amateur Michael McGrane, reportedly an electrician who competes in Dublin. The Irishmen put on a show for the packed crowd with a four-round bout.

McGrane was no match for Conor, obviously ... as the superstar smothered his opponent with jabs while deftly switching stances -- from Orthodox to Southpaw -- throughout the match. He did a great job cutting the ring too.

The match was reportedly a secret ... cause McGrane was listed on the "Good Friday Show" card but his opponent was marked as "A. Another." After the fight ... McGregor mugged for the cameras with fans while showing off his Proper 12 whiskey.

The event helped raise money for the boxing club ... with the money going to help young fighters cover their travel expenses as they set out to compete throughout the year.

As you know ... Floyd says he made a whopping $9 million for his exhibition boxing match in Japan back in January. Guessing Conor only walked away with a good sweat.

Kodak Black Shows in Toronto, Montreal In Jeopardy After Border Bust

Published | Updated

Kodak Black is staring down the possibility of missing more shows on his tour, because Canadian authorities could bar him from entering the country for a couple of scheduled gigs North of the border.

Kodak's got concerts on deck Monday in Montreal and Tuesday in Toronto, but those shows are now in limbo because of his drug and gun bust at the Canada-U.S. border.

Sources at the Canada Border Services Agency tell TMZ ... anyone crossing the border into Canada must demonstrate that they meet the requirements to enter or stay in the country, and involvement in criminal activity is grounds to bar someone from entering.

Our sources at the CBSA wouldn't comment on whether or not Kodak would be admitted into Canada for his gigs, telling us everyone's eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis.

However, our law enforcement sources tell us anyone with a serious criminal history or anyone facing serious felony charges will likely have a difficult time entering Canada. We're told it's unlikely Kodak will be allowed into the country for those shows.

Kodak has some options if he's denied entry, such as requesting a Temporary Resident Permit ... but again, our sources say it's very unlikely Kodak would apply for the permit, because he doesn't meet all its criteria.

SPEAK TO THE FAN

We broke the story ... Kodak was arrested on on weapons and drug charges at the U.S. border in New York after cutting through Canada on his way from Detroit to Boston. Cops say they found weed on Kodak and a gun in the car he was driving.

It was back in July when G-Eazy was denied entry into the country after his cocaine arrest during a trip to Sweden ... Chris Brown faced the same fate in 2015 because of his criminal past.

Kodak already missed shows in Boston and Connecticut because of the bust, and now it's looking increasingly likely he will miss at least 2 more.

We reached out to Live Nation for a status update on Kodak's Canadian gigs ... so far, no word back.

Esteban Loaiza Begins 3-Year Prison Sentence ... In Cocaine Case

Published | Updated

Wasn't a Good Friday for Esteban Loaiza ...

The ex-MLB star surrendered to authorities in San Diego on Friday to begin his 3-year prison sentence in his cocaine case -- and after his sentence, he's expected to be deported to Mexico.

As we previously reported, Loaiza -- who made more than $40 MILLION during his 14-year MLB career -- was arrested last year after cops say he was trying to move 44 pounds of cocaine from a house located near a school.

Cops say the coke stash is worth more than $500,000!!!

The 47-year-old was quiet and stone-faced as he walked into the federal courthouse on Friday -- not saying a word to the waiting media.

The whole story is insane ... Loaiza was busted by the San Diego County Sheriff's Dept. back in Feb. 2018 during a routine traffic stop.

Cops say a search of the baseball player's car led to the discovery of a "sophisticated aftermarket compartment used to conceal contraband."

Cops then got a warrant to search a home that Loaiza had been renting since early February -- located "steps away from an area preschool" -- and found roughly 20 kilograms of suspected cocaine.

Loaiza was initially booked into San Diego County Jail for 3 felonies -- Possession of cocaine over 20 kilograms, possession of cocaine for sale, and transportation of cocaine.

He later pled guilty to felony cocaine possession with intent to distribute.

Loaiza, the second-winningest pitcher from Mexico in MLB history, played for 8 different teams in his career -- earning over $43 million.

He last played for the White Sox in 2008 -- the same team he played for when he was an All-Star in 2003 and 2004.

Cypress Hill Blown Away by Hollywood Star ... More to Celebrate on 420!!!

Cypress Hill is living proof that blazing trails, and trees, can lead you to great things ... like your very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The rap group straight outta South Gate, Cali got their star Thursday on Hollywood Blvd., and the guys tell us they were "blown away" by the honor. Sen Dog says it's something none of them ever expected.

B-Real got even more reflective, talking about how far they've come since they were young men coming up in the biz together. He also got real about the obstacles they've faced over the years due to their unabashed love for cannabis.

Cypress Hill's scheduled to perform at a 4/20 event up in Vancouver Saturday, but there's now pushback from organizers who think a big concert is taking things too far.

The hip-hop legends admit there's an abundance of 4/20 celebrating going on these days, but they're all for it ... and still have every intention of lighting up Vancouver.

Christopher McDonald Sentenced in DUI Case ... Steers Clear of Jail

Published | Updated

"Happy Gilmore" star Christopher McDonald just got the equivalent of a penalty stroke in his DUI case ... TMZ has learned.

According to court records ... the actor pled guilty to driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 or higher stemming from his October 2017 arrest near Lake Arrowhead, CA. He was sentenced to 35 hours of community service, 3-year summary probation, and an alcohol education program which he already completed ... and a day in jail.

The good news -- he got credit for time served in a jail cell following his arrest ... so he doesn't have to spend any additional time behind bars. His other misdemeanor DUI charge was dropped.

We broke the story ... Christopher, best known as Shooter McGavin, got busted after driving his Porsche off the highway, taking out a gas meter and crashing into an embankment.

He then posed for this disheveled mug shot, which could be explained by the fact he was seen chugging beer at an Oktoberfest earlier in the day.

McDonald was also arrested for DWI in 2013 in North Carolina.

Daz Dillinger Strikes Plea Deal ... Gets ZERO Jail

Published | Updated

Daz Dillinger can breathe easier now -- he's not going to jail for having weed after striking a sweet plea deal.

According to docs obtained by TMZ ... Daz pled guilty to a single count of possession of more than an ounce of marijuana and, as a result, will get 3 years probation and have to cough up a thousand bucks in fines. But, that's it ... no jail for the Dogg Pound rapper, who originally faced much more serious charges in Georgia.

As we first reported ... Dillinger faced up to 25 years in prison after he was indicted on 2 felony drug charges for the marijuana bust that went down back in September at his Powder Springs home -- about 20 miles outside Atlanta.

Fast forward to now ... and one of the two charges was dismissed due to insufficient evidence.

So ... case closed.

Jim Jones Dodges Jail Time ... In Gun & Drug Case

Published | Updated

Rapper Jim Jones was able to duck jail time in his gun and drug case out in Georgia -- in fact, he was almost able to skate entirely by copping a plea.

According to court docs out of Coweta County, GA -- where Jim was facing 5 felony counts and a misdemeanor from his June 2018 arrest -- Jim was sentenced to 2 years probation and a $1,500 fine, plus minor court costs.

We're told 3 of the 6 charges were dropped, including a felony drug charge and 2 felony counts of possession of a firearm. The other 3 charges will go away if he stays out of trouble while on probation -- all part of a plea deal.

According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, Jim has to stay off booze and drugs for the next couple years and report to his probation officer in GA to get the remaining 3 charges dropped from his record. All things considered, he should count himself lucky.

TMZ broke the story ... Jim and 3 other guys he was riding in a car with were arrested in June after their vehicle led cops on a police chase. Officers say they found weed, oxycodone, Percocet, vape cartridges and 2 loaded pistols inside.

When no one copped to possessing any of the items, cops arrested everyone. Jim was officially charged a few months later ... and was facing decades behind bars.

Talk about flying high.
