Lori Loughlin and her hubby remain behind bars serving out their sentences in the college admissions bribery scandal but at least they've checked one thing off their to-do list ... paying their fines.
According to legal docs obtained by TMZ ... Lori satisfied the $150k fine she was obligated to pay as part of the plea deal she struck back in October. Mossimo also ponied up for the $250k fine levied on him when he pled guilty to 1 count of conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud and 1 count of honest services wire and mail fraud.
As we reported ... Lori was sentenced to 2 months in prison after agreeing to plead guilty to 1 count of conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud. She also was sentenced to 100 hours of community service and 2 years of supervised release. She started serving her sentence last month.
The former "Project Runway" star tells us the First Lady and Vice President-elect should absolutely wear an American designer when the ball rolls around in January, which would only underscore their love of country.
The way Michael sees it ... inaugural balls are a huge platform for up-and-coming designers to get a huge career boost, so Jill and Kamala should try and find a diamond in the rough and transform that designer's career.
Remember ... Michelle Obama picked Jason Wu to design her dress way back in 2008, and Jason's career immediately took off thanks to the First Lady's endorsement.
Melania Trump, meanwhile, went with well-known French-American designer Herve Pierre.
While Michael's angling to design a matching dress and face-covering for Joe Biden's wife, he also tells us why Kamala should consider an African-American designer.
Meg's new 106-piece collection -- which goes heavy on the denim -- raked in $1.2 million in sales in the first 24 hours ... according to sources connected to the retail company.
This is slightly more than Cardi hauled in with her Spring 2019 collection, but we're told it's because Fashion Nova anticipated high demand after Cardi's styles sold out so quickly ... so it had more product on hand for Meg's line.
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
MTS announced the launch of her collection -- which she says is for "all the hotties out there" and fits bodies of all shapes and sizes -- with a series of fire photos of herself and other women modeling the various styles of jeans available.
Along with premium denim, Meg's collection includes luxe corset bodysuits and tops with matching dresses and plush outerwear ... with prices of the items ranging from $24.99 to $199.99.
Get 'em while they're smoking hot.
Cori Bush got elected to represent Missouri's 1st congressional district ... but she's also reppin' working-class folks who can't afford a designer business wardrobe.
We got the Congresswoman-elect out in D.C. Tuesday and asked about the response she's received since revealing she's hitting up thrift shops to get the professional clothes needed for her new job.
Bush tells us her situation has resonated with people who come from regular means like her and helped them feel heard ... and she's happy it's also made them feel like thriftiness is nothing to be ashamed of.
The incoming Missouri Representative isn't the only bargain hunter on Capitol Hill either. All 4 members of "The Squad" have shared tips for dressing on a budget, with AOC suggesting ... "Thrifting, renting, and patience as you get your closet together sis."
Sounds like Bush is already learning on the job ... and she doesn't officially start until January.
Lori Loughlin's husband is about to head behind bars just like her -- and he's adopted the conventional Hollywood look of a prison inmate in preparation.
Mossimo Giannulli's just days away from reporting to federal prison on Nov. 19 to begin serving his 5-month sentence for his role in the college admissions scandal, but he looks less like a rich father who committed a white-collar crime ... and more like a character from "Oz."
Lori's hubby traded his trimmed facial hair and handsome hairstyle for a shaved head ... along with his grizzly, graying beard. He took his new look for a spin Monday in Bev Hills.
Mossimo's still rocking designer clothes and a fancy watch though. Baby steps ... he's not locked up yet.
As you know ... both he and his wife will be spending the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday incarcerated, as Lori's currently serving her 2-month sentence at FCI Dublin near San Francisco. If all goes well for her though ... she'll get out around Christmastime.
Mossimo's release date will likely be after Easter, and by then ... his beard might be totally white.
Trippie Redd's so deep in the lap of luxury right now ... he could be chilling at this very moment in a robe that costs more than some engagement rings.
TR got his hands on a Chef Henny designed robe that cost a very singular price tag ... $11,111.11. Why all the 1s? Pretty simple ... we're told Henny -- who earned his name by always cooking with Hennessy on YouTube -- believes in number continuity and synchronicity. Hey, to each their own!
The better question is WHY Trippie -- or anyone, really -- would drop 5 figures on a robe??? Well, this one is custom designed specifically for Redd. Henny recently introduced his Daddy Robes luxury line, which are handmade in Beverly Hills and strictly pimped to influencers. The brand boasts that some of its robes can keep ya warm in temps as low as 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
Logan Paul and "Love & Hip Hop" star Moniece Slaughter have also slipped into Henny's robes ... but no word on how much they spent. His fall and winter collection does include robes for as low as $555.55 ... in case you're more cost-conscious. LOL
Seriously, there is a version of Trippie Redd's robe coming soon for a mere $1,111.11.
LaMelo Ball may be a Puma guy now, but he's still selling clothes at Big Baller prices -- launching his very own designer lifestyle clothing brand ... and it ain't cheap.
The youngest Ball Bro is one week from becoming a likely top 5 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft ... and he's already making serious business moves.
Dubbed "LaFrancé" -- Ball's middle name -- Melo is expanding his brand with black and white t-shirts, hoodies and socks featuring his name and logo ... and they're expensive as hell.
For instance -- the shirts come with a $70 price tag ... and the hoodies will setcha back $120.
And, if you've ever wanted to rep Melo on the balls of your feet, the socks are currently being sold for $20 a pair.
19-year-old Ball says the "Melo 2020" launch is only available for a limited time ... which might explain the price.
If you think those prices are steep, Melo says he actually LOWERED the cost after some more consideration.
"Outta the kindness of my heart and talkin wit my team I'm gone lower the price on some stuff to show love," Melo said Friday.
"cuz some people been a lil upset and i wanna see MOST of yaw happy ... i'm playin all of yaw."
FWIW -- the site says each piece is "100% Hand-made with love in Los Angeles, CA, USA" ... and can you really put a price on love?!
Make your money, Melo!!
One of the most famous cleat artists in the world says he's lucky to be alive after a bad car crash in Miami this week ... and his ultra-famous clients are offering their support.
"SolesBySir" -- real name Marcus Rivero -- has designed cleats for superstars like DeSean Jackson, Terrell Suggs, Reggie Bush, Marshawn Lynch and more for years ... and is widely regarded as one of the best in the business.
But, tragedy struck Thursday in Miami when his vehicle collided with another car, forcing his Mercedes-Benz to veer off the road and slam into a tree.
We spoke with SolesBySir who says he went to a hospital to get checked out -- but the injuries were relatively minor considering how bad things could've been (the crash photos are BRUTAL).
"Words can’t express how THANKFUL I am to be able to have walked away from [Thursday's] accident with just a few injuries. Luckily, the person who caused it was unscathed. Please be careful out there."
Get well soon!
Michael Jordan's last piece of NBA laundry is hitting the auction block -- the actual jersey from his final game ... and it's gonna fetch a TON of cash!
It's MJ's #23 away jersey from his final game with the Washington Wizards on April 16, 2003 ... the last time Jordan stepped on the court as an NBA player.
39-year-old Jordan dropped 15 points with 4 rebounds and 4 assists against the Philadelphia 76ers that night -- but it wasn't enough to get the W. Final score, 107 to 87.
BTW, we're also told Jordan rocked the jersey for the final 2 months of his NBA career -- his final 14 road games.
The one-of-a-kind jersey is about to hit the block at Goldin Auctions ... and GA tells us they expect the threads to bring in over $500,000!!
As for where the jersey -- which Goldin says has been photo-matched to ensure authenticity -- came from ... well, it's a pretty cool story.
Back in 1984, Jordan befriended the owner of a limousine service ... and the 2 men became close.
MJ gifted the jersey to the guy who held on to it for years -- but he has now decided to part ways with the item.
The Jordan jersey is part of a larger collection of rare MJ items hitting the auction block -- including a pair of signed, game-worn, Air Jordan 1's from Michael's 1984-1985 season. GA also has MJ's signed, game-worn minor league baseball jersey from the Birmingham Barons.
All the Jordan stuff -- valued at over $1 MILLION -- hits the auction block on November 23 ... good luck!!
Steve Kornacki's election map coverage did more than inform America, it energized America ... to dress like Steve, and it's paying dividends for the Gap.
The MSNBC "Map Daddy" became an unexpected star during the vote-counting chaos, as he won over viewers with his energy, commitment and his wardrobe ... especially his khakis.
After several media outlets reported they were Gap brand trousers, the company's sales got a huge boost within the first 24 hours.
According to a Gap spokesperson ... the clothing retailer saw a "dramatic increase in online traffic and within a day, we saw around 90% unit sale increase online."
For those who really want the fast track to being more like Steve -- aka the "Chart Throb" -- it was further discovered he wears the "palomino brown" pair ... of which he says he has several. No one's surprised.
Though Kornacki's khakis became the trending darling of Twitter ... his tie didn't fare as well.
The Jumpman has entered the future!!!
The Jordan Brand has officially announced its first ever self-lacing sneaker ... and they look like they'd get Marty McFly's approval.
Dubbed the Air Jordan 11 Adapt, the sneakers are the first of Michael Jordan's iconic signature line to use Nike's electronically-controlled lacing technology ... and will mark the 25th anniversary of the original kicks released in 1995.
Remember, sneakerheads lost their minds when the Swoosh introduced the Nike MAG back in 2016 -- ya know, the "Back to the Future" kicks -- which also featured the Adapt tech.
While the self-lacing tech has showed up on other iconic shoes in recent years, it marks the first time it will appear on an Air Jordan shoe.
Fun fact -- shoe god Tinker Hatfield envisioned a lace-less design when he initially drew up the epic kicks years ago ... and now it's kinda finally happening!!
So, how do these things work?? The kicks are controlled by an app that will help customize the comfort ... as well as the color of the button on the side of the sneaks.
The kicks are set to be released next month ... and rumors say they will come with a $500 price tag.
Maybe ask Santa??
Need another reason to be envious of World Series MVP Corey Seager?? Well, here ya go ...
The L.A. Dodgers superstar's fiancee, Madisyn Van Ham, loves him SO MUCH ... she got a tiny swimsuit with pics of his face all over it!!!
And, to make sure everyone knows what a lucky guy Seager is ... she shared a photo of it for all to enjoy!!!
"All the 😍 for my soon to be hubby 💍," Van Ham wrote of the suit.
The two have been dating for about 5 years now ... and just got engaged back in December 2019.
They post about each other often ... and Van Ham was even with the shortstop while he was dominating for the Dodgers in the postseason down in Texas last month.
In fact, she got a pic with L.A.'s NLCS trophy right after Seager and the Dodgers moved on to the World Series ... and she hilariously captioned it, "What’s yours is mine, right babe?!"
And, as if the two weren't adorable enough ... they also own the cutest dog ever -- a Toy Australian Shepherd named Hazel Grey!!!
Yeah ... some guys just have it all, man. Congrats Corey!
The GAP had its heart in the right place with its post-election tweet urging unity but it clearly failed to read the room ... admitting it was just "too soon."
A spokesperson for the clothing retailer tells TMZ ... the intention of its social media post featuring a red and blue hoodie "was to show the power of unity." The spokesperson added, "It was just too soon for this message. We remain optimistic that our country will come together to drive positive change for all."
The tweet backfired almost immediately ... with one person replying, "A GREAT example of why it's smart to be paused on social right now." Tons of people responded with "read the room" and another user said, "I don't think a zipped hoodie is going to cut it when everyone is this tired, broke, and scared."
Chrissy Teigen also chimed in on the since-deleted post. For the record ... the hoodie was NOT for sale.
The retailer deleted the post hours later as a divided nation anxiously awaits the results of the STILL highly contested Presidential election.
Justin Bieber was burning the midnight oil for a new music video -- and it looks like the guy scorched off his pants in the process ... plus the rest of his clothes, sans underwear.
The Biebs was filming Friday in DTLA, where we're told he and the crew had been pulling an all-nighter that had gotten started even earlier in the day. Basically, it was a beast of a shoot -- and you can tell by the way Justin celebrated after they presumably wrapped.
As you can see ... Justin emerged from the main action in nothing but a pair of white Calvin Klein boxer briefs, very reminiscent of his 2015 CK campaign, when he also donned white briefs. He looked a little more wild this time around, more tatted in the torso too FWIW.
More importantly, JB was ecstatic ... doing a mighty double fist pump in the air ('Rocky'-style) and flashing his pearly whites after a hard day's work. Unclear if losing his wardrobe was part of the video, or if he just shed it all for catharsis -- we'll find out soon enough 🤷🏽♂️.
BTW, Justin's wife, Hailey, was also on set through a majority of the day ... wearing casual clothing and, at one point, was even sporting a robe. It doesn't appear she was on camera or anything, however -- looks like she was just there to support her hubby and mingle a bit.
One gal who was supposedly sharing screen time with Justin as a costar, though, was one Zoey Deutch -- known from Netflix's "The Politician," and a bunch of other shows/movies 👀.
An online design store is accused of selling several grossly anti-Semitic products featuring Hitler made to look like Colonel Sanders with the logo for KFJ -- Kentucky Fried Jews.
The offensive images hit social media Thursday, purportedly showing items for sale on bapup.com -- including cell phone cases, face masks, neckties, umbrellas and more. However, late Thursday night the online store was seemingly shut down.
The site now has a message saying ... "Due to an ongoing internal investigation of our designer activities and an upgrade to our database system, our site is temporarily unavailable."
Many people online claim they contacted the site about the offensive content, while others went to the site's hosting company, GoDaddy, to report it as well.
Looks like it worked, but it's unclear if the products displayed were ever really for sale, or just mocked up. We've reached out to BapUp to find out if people were actually able to buy the disgusting crap ... no word back yet.
9:43 AM PT -- Chase Claypool has a new biggest fan ... 'cause the 76-year-old who received the wideout's signed jersey has now proclaimed the rookie his new #1 Steeler!!!
The original TikTok fan posted video of his dad bragging about his new gift ... and you can see in the footage, he's THRILLED with Claypool's generous act.
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
"It makes me feel special," the man says in the clip ... before adding, "I think it's amazing. It's amazing. God's been good in so many ways. And, then I get this. I can't handle it!"
The fan added, "Good God almighty, here's a guy that didn't know me from Adam and he gives me a shirt and thanks me for being a lifetime Steelers fan."
Props again to Chase for the amazing gesture!
Get the Kleenex ready, this will hit ya right in the feels ...
Pittsburgh Steelers rising star Chase Claypool sent an autographed jersey to a 76-year-old fan after learning of the man's recent dementia diagnosis ... and it's emotional.
Claypool -- a rookie WR who's BALLED OUT in recent weeks -- saw a TikTok video that explained the fan's battle ... and Chase was clearly moved by the whole thing.
In the clip, the fan's son explained his dad is "the biggest Steeler fan in the world" ... but is now having trouble remembering players' names on a weekly basis.
So, Claypool decided to send him some BIG love ... writing a personalized autograph on one of his #11 jerseys!!!
"Jimmy!" Chase wrote, "Thank you for being a lifelong Steelers fan!! From Chase."
In the clip, you can see Claypool drove the jersey to the post office himself to make sure the precious cargo arrived on time and safe.
"I hope this jersey can create a long-lasting memory for you and your father," Chase added in the video. "God bless you and your family and go Steelers!"
