If Patrick Mahomes retired today, he WOULD get in the Hall of Fame ... so says his former teammate Spencer Ware, who tells TMZ Sports the QB's resume is already that damn good!

"He'll definitely get in there," Ware says.

The debate has been raging ever since the K.C. Chiefs superstar won his first ring last February ... with many saying the SB win over the 49ers punched his ticket to Canton.

Ware is firmly on the side that thinks Mahomes is already worthy ... telling us with an MVP award, a Super Bowl title AND other records -- Mahomes would get his vote.

Now, Ware IS a little biased ... the NFL RB has been Mahomes' teammate the past 3 seasons -- but he insists Pat's Super Bowl victory gave the QB enough to get the HOF nod already.

As for what's in store for Mahomes considering he's NOWHERE NEAR done yet ... Ware says he's envisioning AT LEAST 2 more rings for the Chiefs star in the next few years!

Patrick Mahomes wasn't the only one in his household to get a massive ring on Tuesday ... the superstar QB just proposed to his longtime GF, Brittany Matthews, with a diamond that's bigger than her knuckle!!!

Mahomes surprised his lady with a floral arrangement and bright signs at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City after getting his Super Bowl ring ... and Brittany's ring might be even more impressive.

Since 24-year-old Mahomes just signed the fattest contract in NFL history -- he signed a $503 MILLION extension -- it shouldn't come as a surprise that he splurged on the jewelry.

Unclear on how much he paid for it, but by the looks of it ... it wasn't cheap.

Of course, the couple has been together since their high school days ... and have been pretty much inseparable ever since.

25-year-old Matthews -- a pro fitness trainer -- has been one of Mahomes' biggest supporters since day one and definitely made sure fans heard her cheers all throughout the Chiefs' Super Bowl run this past season.

Speaking of ... Mahomes and his Kansas City Chiefs teammates finally got their championship rings for the 2019 season just before the proposal ... and they're pretty spectacular.

The champs held a special social-distanced celebration on the Arrowhead Stadium field on Tuesday ... receiving their rings for their Super Bowl LIV win over the San Francisco 49ers.

The rings -- made by Jostens -- feature the Chiefs logo (made of 60 diamonds) and 2 Lombardi trophies (made with marquise-cut diamonds) on the top ... and includes 16 rubies to signify 10 AFC West Division titles and 6 playoff appearances under head coach Andy Reid.

There are also 50 diamonds surrounding the design, which represent the 50 years since the team's first Super Bowl title.

The sides feature the SBLIV logo and player names and numbers -- and even "142.2" to honor Arrowhead's record-setting decibel rating.

The inside of the rings are just as special -- they feature the logos and scores of all KC's games throughout the playoffs ... and each recipient's autograph.

The team captured the moment Mahomes put his ring on for the first time ... and you could see the dude's smile pouring out from behind his mask!!

Look out, NFL -- these guys look like they're ready for another.

Patrick Mahomes says he's personally spoken with NFL commish Roger Goodell about the Black Lives Matter movement ... adding he's "excited" about taking the next steps.

The Kansas City Chiefs QB appeared on FS1's "Undisputed" on Wednesday where he was asked if he feels the BLM movement's impact on the NFL.

"I feel like it's been positive," Mahomes said.

"I've got to talk to Goodell, I've talked to other guys around the league and obviously now it's about action."

He added, "It's about going out there and making the right steps that we can ... and make the community a better place."

Mahomes -- who teamed up with other NFL to deliver a powerful statement to the league back in June -- says they're already getting the ball rolling with voter registration initiatives.

"We did a voter registration with the team and the Chiefs and we're trying to get everybody registered to vote," Mahomes said.

Josh Allen vs. Patrick Mahomes -- who's got the stronger arm?!

The Buffalo Bills QB says he's down to settle the debate once and for all ... telling the "Good Morning Football" team Wednesday he's formally accepted Mahomes' throw-off challenge!!

"We're working on it," Allen said ... "I'd love to finally settle this and figure it out."

LET'S GOOOO!!!!

If you missed it ... after Allen was given a higher throw power rating in Madden 21 than Mahomes (99 to 97) -- Pat wasn't too happy.

The K.C. Chiefs superstar said he was down to get on a field and prove the video game creators wrong ... telling ESPN he wanted to line up with Allen and see it for real.

"I've yet to see somebody have a stronger arm than me," Mahomes said.

Allen claimed Wednesday the two had a deal in place to get the throw-off done ... but says COVID-19 restrictions have forced them to postpone it.

Unclear when the new date will be ... but Allen says he's hoping the challenge will lead to some charity money.

As for the favorite in the throw-off ... Mahomes says he can throw a ball in the area of 85 yards -- and seems Allen is confident he can match that.

NFL superstar Travis Kelce has finally confirmed his split with longtime girlfriend Kayla Nicole -- but insists it's NOT because he cheated with a "Becky."

As we previously reported, Kayla unfollowed the KC Chiefs TE on Instagram last week and scrubbed her profile of all traces of Kelce ... typically a sign of a break up.

Kelce just made the news official in a tweet late Tuesday night ... clapping back at a social media post that he was "caught w/ a Becky" -- AKA, a white chick.

"This is fake news ... a lie ... and not why Kayla and I broke up," Kelce said in a since-deleted tweet ... "Take all your hatred somewhere else please."

Kelce and Kayla were couples BFFs with Patrick Mahomes and his girlfriend Brittany Matthews ... they recently partied in Lake Tahoe together.

But, Brittany is still commenting on Kayla's IG page which probably means they'll stay friends ... even if things might be awkward for a while with Travis.

Kayla and Travis began dating in 2017 -- and it's still a mystery why they broke up.

KC Chiefs running back Damien Williams -- who scored TWO 4th-quarter TDs in the Super Bowl -- is opting OUT of the 2020 NFL season.

"Damien Williams informed the club of his decision to opt out of the 2020 season," Chiefs GM Brett Veach announced Wednesday.

The 28-year-old has not yet issued a statement explaining his decision -- but this is a big one.

Williams was a stud for the Chiefs in 2019 -- but REALLY broke out during the playoffs.

During Super Bowl LIV, he rushed for 104 yards and a TD against the SF 49ers -- and also caught 4 passes for 29 yards and a TD!

The receiving TD with 1:12 left in the game basically sealed the victory for KC.

Some people feel he could have been named Super Bowl MVP.

Williams was reportedly set to make $1.85 million in 2020 -- the final year of his contract.

The good news for the Chiefs ... they drafted a BEAST in the 1st round of the 2020 NFL Draft -- scooping up LSU's Clyde Edwards-Helaire.

Not a terrible fall back plan.

Other RBs on the roster include Darwin Thompson and Darrell Williams.

So here's the deal ... the KC Chiefs coach is known for being obsessed with the company's floral-patterned shirts ... and will take any opportunity to rock the tropical look.

Reid's been spotted wearing TB shirts at annual coaches' meetings, and during the 2020 NFL Draft, and even when introducing Patrick Mahomes' record-breaking 10-year, $503 MILLION deal a few weeks back.

While the Super Bowl-winning coach doesn't have an official gig with the brand, TB's Chiefs merch sales are reportedly through the roof!!

According to Forbes, the Tommy Bahama and Chiefs collab has exploded over the part 2 years ... with sales at Arrowhead Stadium, TB stores and online more than DOUBLING!!!

As for the relationship with Reid ... TB's CEO Doug Wood says the brand sends coach around 6 free shirts a year ... because he's pretty much a walking billboard.

"We try to keep him as current as possible," Wood told Forbes, "because whatever he’s wearing people want to buy."

"It’s really been an amazing thing for us. He just kind of took over as one of our spokespeople without us knowing he was the spokesperson."

That's Tyreek Hill giving MAJOR props to Terrell Owens after the Hall of Famer ran a smoking 4.4 in the 40-yard dash during their race this month ... and yeah, T.O.'s still got it!!!

The NFL legend and the K.C. Chiefs superstar took to a high school field in Florida recently to settle a little racing bet.

Hill wagered $1,000 that even with a 10-step head start ... he wouldn't lose in a 100-yard sprint to Owens.

Turns out, though, T.O.'s still got jets -- even at 46 years old -- 'cause he won the race EASILY.

But, afterward, the two decided to get in a straight-up 40-yard dash ... and while Hill just barely beat out Owens there -- T.O. still clocked an INSANE 4.4!!!

That prompted Tyreek to heap some heavy praise on Owens ... saying T.O. was quicker than some of his Super Bowl champion teammates -- and that's when Owens made a pitch to Andy Reid!!

K.C. Chiefs star Chris Jones did his best LeBron James impression Monday ... channeling the NBA superstar by guaranteeing multiple future championships for his team -- and it was all bold as hell!

The defensive lineman -- who just signed a MASSIVE 4-year, $85 MILLION extension to stay in K.C. -- was asked on 610 Sports Radio what his message would have been if he had been able to speak to fans at the Chiefs' Super Bowl parade in February.

That's when Jones said he would've gone all LeBron on the crowd ... and promised more parades in the future!!

"This is only the beginning," Jones said of what his speech would have entailed. "Be prepared to have another parade, and another parade, and another parade!"

Of course, 5-plus rings is unlikely ... Tom Brady's the only dude in history with that many -- and it took him 20 YEARS to get.

But, if anyone was going to do it in the near future ... it'd be the Chiefs.

They just locked up quarterback Patrick Mahomes for at least the next decade ... and they're returning nearly every other significant player from last season's Super Bowl roster.

In fact, when we spoke with star wideout Tyreek Hill about the squad ... he told us he was FIRED UP over the offense's potential in 2020.

In fact, the 2-time All-Pro wideout tells us with Mahomes locked in and star defensive tackle Chris Jones inking a new deal ... he sees multiple rings on the horizon for the Chiefs.

"I'm proud of just the Chiefs in general for getting all these deals done, man," Hill says. "'Cause they understand right now is our time, like this is our window to be great, for us to build that dynasty and I'm just happy to be along with them."

As for who's buying meals going forward now that he, Jones and Pat have signed huge contracts ... Hill says that honor will go to Mahomes from here on out.

The Kansas City Chiefs decided to team up with the infamous tweeter for another go-round on Thursday ... to officially announce a new contract with star defensive tackle Chris Jones!!

WELL, before any major outlet had a scoop on the Mahomes news, Katie Camlin of Plaza Liquor in KC sent out the following -- "A front office employee for the Chiefs came in and bought 6 bottles of Dom Perignon."

"Said there's a big signing today. He said it's not Chris Jones, so my guess is a Mahomes deal."

We all know by now that Katie was absolutely right in her prediction ... with Mahomes inking a record-breaking, 10-year deal worth up to $503 MILLION.

As a way to pay homage to the epic moment, the Chiefs worked with Camlin for a re-enactment for the Jones deal -- a 4-year, $85 million extension.

"OMG. Chiefs came in again. Six more bottles. My guess is CHRIS JONES!!" Camlin tweeted in the vid.

Of course, ESPN's Adam Schefter ended up breaking the news on Tuesday ... which Camlin joked was out of generosity.

NFL star Tyrann Mathieu has paid for the funeral costs of a 9-year-old boy who was killed in a horrific shooting in New Orleans, TMZ Sports has learned.

Devante Bryant was shot in the head on July 13th in a mysterious attack on a bunch of kids. Two other teenagers -- 13 and 16 -- were also shot, but they survived.

Cops are investigating but so far, they don't seem to have any idea about why someone would commit this horrible act.

When Tyrann -- who's from Louisiana -- found out about the killing, he wanted to help the family and felt paying for the funeral costs would allow them to focus on grieving for their son.

"Young black children should not be dying from gun violence," the Kansas City Chiefs superstar tells TMZ Sports.

"Devante didn’t even have a chance to live his life before it was tragically taken away from him."

"My goal is to help stop the violence and help my community to show and empower children from my community that there is another way, one child at a time."

"I wanted to help the Bryant family because I am from the 7th Ward and I felt that pain. I have a 7-year-old son that lives in New Orleans and I couldn’t imagine something happening to him at that age. He is only 2 years younger than Devante."

"My heart goes out to the Bryant and Howard Family."

Tyreek Hill says he ain't embarrassed one bit about being put on a poster by a 15-year-old at his camp last weekend ... in fact, he's praising the kid -- and telling TMZ Sports he's hoping for a rematch one day in the NFL!!!

"Shouts out to that kid, man," the Chiefs superstar says. "Keep that same energy. I'm proud of him."

If you missed it ... rising H.S. sophomore Tyreeq-Styles Obichere made the catch of a lifetime against Hill during a rep at the NFL receiver's youth camp in Texas last Saturday.

The play was INSANE ... Tyreeq jumped OVER Tyreek and hauled in the pass with ONE HAND!!!

Hill tells us he was shocked by the rep ... and called it, "Odell Beckham 2.0. It was great."

And, when we told the NFL All-Pro that Obichere is gunning to do it again against him in the NFL in about a decade ... Hill was all for it!!!

"Hopefully I'll still be playing," Hill said, before firing off a warning ... "And if I do, if I do, and if I am still playing, I'll still be the fastest."

Hill says his advice for Obichere going forward is simple, "Don't let one moment define you."

Why does Post Malone have tattoos of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce on his body?!

Because the NFL stars kicked his ass in an epic backstage beer pong match -- and the loser had to get tats!!

It all went down after the Chiefs beat the Niners in the Super Bowl -- Mahomes and teammate Kelce were able to score some VIP tickets to Post's February concert in Kansas City.

But, Mahomes told GQ before the show went on ... he and Kelce were invited backstage for a little beer pong action with Post.

What happened next is pretty legendary ... Mahomes said he and Kelce WENT OFF -- and Post Malone was PISSED!!!

Mahomes said after about 14 or 15 straight victories ... Post decided to up the ante on the games -- and brought out a piece of paper for Mahomes and Kelce to sign.

The deal? If Post couldn't win, he'd get the Chiefs stars' autographs inked on his body.

Of course, Kelce and Mahomes didn't lose -- with Mahomes saying his tight end was "unconscious" good on the table! So, when Post got the "L," he agreed to get the ink done after the show!!

Mahomes says he tried to talk Post out of the tats ... saying, "Dude, you do not actually have to get a tattoo of our autographs."
