Killer Mike's officially putting his arrest at the Grammys on the back burner, because after a long wait, his oldest son is finally getting a kidney transplant ... TMZ Hip Hop has learned.

Sources connected to the Grammy-winning rapper tell us Mike is with his son Mikael "Pony Boy" Render Monday as he undergoes the transplant surgery. The 21-year-old has been waiting for a kidney match for 3 years.

Back in November, Mikael got bumped up on the transplant waitlist, and his proud dad talked about it during an interview with Graham Bensinger.

Mike has said Mikael -- who's a musician and rapper, just like Dad -- never had a chance to fully experience his teenage years, because of his battle with kidney disease.

The fact Pony Boy's number got called for the transplant today, of all days, seems like a strange twist of fate ... considering his dad's weekend of some major ups and downs.

TMZ broke the story ... Killer Mike was awarded 3 Grammys Sunday at L.A.'s Crytpo.com Arena -- but he also got arrested.

He was booked for misdemeanor battery after allegedly knocking over a security guard at the venue, but was quickly released on his own recognizance. After getting released ... Mike was in relatively good spirits, even though he'd gone through a fairly dramatic situation.

Paps tried talking to him about it in the aftermath -- but he wasn't really trying to talk much about it ... keeping his attention on the music. In light of this news about his son ... his mind was clearly elsewhere, as he had more important matters to attend to.

Mike won Grammys for Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance -- but today his focus is purely on Mikael's surgery.

Taylor Swift might have one more dig for her ex-boyfriend, Joe Alwyn -- that is, if her new album is in any tied to a boy's club he admitted to have created ... and it sure seems to be.

Eagle-eyed fans noticed that Tay Tay's forthcoming project -- which she's titled "The Tortured Poets Department" -- sounds eerily similar to a group that Joe once admitted he'd created among his buddies in the virtual world ... and on its face, Taylor might be trolling it.

The reason many are jumping to that conclusion -- Joe spilled this little detail a couple years ago during an interview he did with Paul Mescal on an 'Actors on Actors' segment.

In the sit-down, Paul and Joe -- who are friends, BTW -- reveal they're part of a WhatsApp group called the 'Tortured Man Club' ... where they apparently share their woes about their significant others. They had a good laugh about it, noting they weren't so tortured anymore.

This was during a time when Paul and Joe were both in relationships -- Joe was obviously still with Tay Tay in late 2022, and PM himself was dating singer Phoebe Bridgers.

Of course, the name of their joke-y club sounds eerily similar to Taylor's new album title ... almost to a T. And considering that Paul broke up with Phoebe not too long after this chat with Joe (not to mention Joe and Taylor hitting Splitsville) ... it's all seemingly connected.

Funny enough, Taylor and Phoebe are low-key BFFs these days ... so yeah, it's a dig.

While her fans are reveling in this perceived connection -- basically, it's yet another post-breakup album with Taylor torching her ex -- some are raising an eyebrow if this is in fact the route she's pursuing ... 'cause she's knee-deep in a relationship with Travis Kelce.

Fact is ... if Taylor's gonna use a whole album (or a good portion of it) to trash Joe/air out her feelings about their breakup -- which most people assume is the case at this point -- then it makes ya wonder ... how does TK feel about that???

He's not the type to hold his tongue -- and you gotta imagine if he's bothered by it, he'd let it be known. Her album is coming out in about 2 months ... so we'll see, we suppose.

BTW, we recently ran into "Million Dollar Matchmaker" star Patti Stanger ... and we got her thoughts about Taylor and Travis, generally, and whether she thinks they'll go the distance.

As it turns out ... PS does think they'll get hitched eventually, and had some other interesting insights -- including what their sexual chemistry might be like between the sheets. According to her, they have great sex!

Ludacris is recalling a wild moment from his win at the Grammys back in the day ... and it's all about Justin Timberlake's explicit reaction to Luda's big night -- which sounds jarring.

The story, as Ludacris explained on "Drink Champs," goes like this ... Ludacris was backstage at the 2007 Grammys after winning the award for Best Rap Album and he was dropping f-bombs and letting out his emotions.

Back then, Ludacris says artists went into little holding areas only separated by thin curtains ... which didn't offer much privacy.

Once Ludacris ended his celebration, he says he heard a voice from the other side of the curtain ... "Shut the f*** up, some of us didn't win any g****** Grammys!!!"

Luda says he pulled back the curtain ... only to find Justin Timberlake standing there, and in his mind -- it was clearly him who yelled it.

Hard to tell if Luda is all that bent out of shape about it -- if anything, he seems to find it more amusing than anything all these years later. Based on his demeanor here, he clearly loves to tell the tale and still gets a kick out of it in 2024.

Ludacris says he was extra amped after winning the award because he had come up short for years and set out to win a Grammy when he recorded "Release Therapy."

Justin's funny outburst was a bit premature ... he lost Best Pop Vocal Album and Album Of The Year for "FutureSex/LoveSounds" but won two Grammys ... Best Rap/Song Collaboration for "My Love" and Best Dance Recording for "Sexy Back."

FWIW, Luda says it's all love with Justin ... calling JT "gangsta" -- so he's good in his book.

Patrick Mahomes' father will still be allowed to travel to the Super Bowl this weekend in spite of his Saturday arrest ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Judge James Meredith -- who handled the case in Smith County, Texas on Sunday following Mahomes Sr.'s DWI arrest -- tells us he didn't impose any travel ban on the elder Mahomes as part of his bond conditions ... paving the way for Dad to watch his son play in Las Vegas in SB LVIII.

Of course, it's unclear if the Chiefs star will want him there now following the added distraction in the leadup to the Big Game ... but, at least in the eyes of the law, Mahomes Sr. will be allowed to leave the state for it.

As part of the conditions of his bond, however, we're told Mahomes Sr. will not be able to take part in much partying in Sin City if he does make the trip. Law enforcement officials say he's been barred from possessing or consuming alcohol and/or illegal drugs. He's also been required to have an interlock device on his car -- as well as submit to random testing.

As we reported, Mahomes Sr. was thrown behind bars late Saturday night on a felony charge of driving while intoxicated.

A spokesperson for the Tyler Police Dept. said on Monday morning cops initially pulled over Mahomes Sr. at around 8:30 PM for a routine traffic stop ... though "evidence obtained during the stop led to the arrest."

Miley Cyrus' big night at the Grammys -- scooping up 2 trophies -- is raising eyebrows because she totally excluded her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, from her acceptance speeches.

Miley first bagged the Best Pop Solo Performance Award for her hit song "Flowers" before the song later cinched the Record of the Year trophy -- and while she thanked several key people in her life onstage, she notably omitted mention of the iconic country musician.

The former Disney star went through the laundry list of people she wanted to thank -- her team, everyone onstage with her, her BF Maxx Morando, as well as her mom, Tish Cyrus, and sister, Brandi Cyrus -- but Billy didn't get a coveted shout-out.

The snub was even more pronounced as Miley made a concerted effort to ensure she didn't overlook anyone ... turning to her team behind her, asking: "Anyone else? Your wife, your fiancée, all the people that we love. Thank you all so much."

Even her undergarments got a playful shout-out, as she joked: "I don't think I forgot anyone. But, I might have forgotten underwear. Bye!" ... but as for a mention of Billy? Nada!

The omission may be a wholly innocent slip of the mind or may allude to an extension of reports from 2022 that Miley's relationship with Billy was strained following his divorce from Tish ... who attended the Grammys with her daughter.

Remember, Miley once shared a special bond with Billy who played a pivotal role in launching her career through "Hannah Montana" -- they shared the screen on all 4 seasons of the TV show, and the subsequent film.

If there is family tension, Miley didn't show it though -- she was glowing during the rest of her acceptance speech, saying: "This award is amazing, but I really hope it doesn't change anything because my life was beautiful yesterday."

Miley added, "Not everyone will get a Grammy, but everyone in this world is spectacular, so please don't think this is important, even though it's very important."

Travis Scott got snubbed yet again at the Grammys -- and he seemed to let out his rage in the aftermath ... at least that's what some are perceiving from his WWE-style performance.

The rapper was fresh off another loss at Sunday's show -- with Killer Mike beating him out for Best Rap album, even though many thought 'Utopia' was a shoo-in -- and when TS hit the stage later for a live-music moment ... he appeared to address his anger about it.

Trav and Playboi Carti tag-teamed their song 'FE!N' ... and at one point, Travis started freaking out in the middle of the stage -- throwing around foldable chairs that were there, and even hitting some of the stage props around him.

Some assumed it was just part of his thing -- y'know, typical raging, etc. -- but it became clear to others that something else was going on ... namely, because of TS's own words.

Trav switched up some of the lyrics in the song and said "They slept on me 10 times!" -- obviously in reference to him being nominated 10 times at the Grammys but never winning.

Clearly, he felt some type of way about it -- and seems to have let it out in his art.

Taylor Swift was a sucker for Olivia Rodrigo's performance of "Vampire" ... debunking any beef rumors between them at the Grammys Sunday evening.

Olivia gave a bloody good rendition of the fiery tune ... with Tay Tay singing and dancing along -- something that didn't go unnoticed on Olivia's end as she blew her a kiss at the end ... signaling a mutual respect between the two.

The "Guts" singer Olivia returned the supportive favor ... standing up to clap for Taylor as she scooped the Best Pop Vocal Album. Yeah, you wouldn't be doing all that for your arch-nemesis, now would you?

The duo's fandom first speculated they were feuding when Olivia retroactively credited Swift and producer Jack Antonoff on her single "Deja Vu" -- though she's denied any clash between them since.

"I don't beef with anyone," Olivia clarified to Rolling Stone in Sept 2023  ... noting that falling out with someone was unlike her cause she's a chill person who keeps to herself.

She concluded on the matter: "There's nothing to say. There's so many Twitter conspiracy theories. I only look at alien-conspiracy theories." Underlying point, fandoms need to chill.

So, there you have it, folks ... things between O&T are good and had never soured in the first place.

Taylor Swift won Album of the Year (again) at the Grammys, but weirdly ignored the musical icon presenting in Celine Dion -- even though ... she paid her respects backstage, it seems.

Rare misstep for Tay Tay, who's usually on point ... but on Sunday night, she kinda screwed up -- at least in Twitter's eyes, anyway -- when she paid little to no attention to CD who announced her as the winner for AOTY ... which was a big deal for a lot of reasons.

It was the final award for the night -- and the largest prize at the Grammys, period -- which is why it was such a remarkable moment to see Celine come out to present it in person.

Of course, she's very publicly battling Stiff-Person Syndrome -- and has stepped away from the spotlight of late -- so for her to do this was notable and moving, especially since she appeared to look relatively healthy here ... something the audience met with a standing O.

Fast-forward to Taylor being named the winner, when she ran onstage with her collaborators -- plus Lana Del Rey -- and looked so overcome with emotion that she totally downplayed Celine's presence ... simply taking the statuette from her without so much as a nod.

Indeed, it came off as quite rude -- you could tell Celine found it odd as well -- and the Internet unloaded on Taylor for what they perceived as a major lack of respect/reverence.

It would appear Taylor and/or team caught wind of this backlash quickly -- 'cause not too long after ... a photo of the two posing together (and looking cozy) backstage surfaced, which a ton of outlets then posted without much description or captions. Coincidence much?

Travis Kelce couldn't attend the Grammys with Taylor Swift on Sunday night -- he was busy landing in Las Vegas to begin preparations for Super Bowl LVIII -- but he still managed to publicly support his girlfriend from hundreds of miles away.

The Chiefs star and his teammates touched down in Sin City at around 5 PM local time ... just as Swift was settling in her seat for the big music awards show in Los Angeles.

Kelce didn't appear to be sporting any overt homages to his GF as he left the plane to get ready for Super Bowl week -- he wore nothing more than a Nike sweatsuit, some shades and a Cincinnati Bearcats cap.

But, he did take to Instagram to show some love for his GF nonetheless.

The Kansas City tight end dropped a "like" on NPR's Grammys post -- which featured a pic of Swift on the red carpet.

Taylor, meanwhile, flew solo for her big night -- sitting with Lana Del Rey and Jack Antonoff ... before she took home multiple honors, including Album of the Year. She did not mention Kelce in either of her acceptance speeches.

It's unclear if she'll now join Kelce in Nevada later this week for his big moment -- she's performing in Tokyo before the game ... though most expect her to make it in time for kickoff.

Ex-porn star Lisa Ann says NYPD officers dragged her out of comedian Matt Rife's show for allegedly using her phone, and threatened to put her on a psychiatric hold -- a move cops claim was warranted because she was acting drunk and disorderly.

Lisa, who famously spoofed Sarah Palin in porn, tells TMZ ... she was seated in the 2nd row with 2 friends at Radio City Music Hall Sunday night, and about 20 minutes into Matt's show, 8 ushers came over and told her she was getting booted for using her phone.

Lisa says she told the ushers and NYPD officers stationed at the venue, she did NOT use her phone at all inside the theater, in fact, she insists she never touched it -- but does admit one of her friends looked at her own phone to view a text.

The "Nailin' Pailin" star says the biggest shock came when the cops marched her out of Radio City in handcuffs around 10:20 PM, and allegedly told her she could either be arrested or put on a 5150 hold ... her choice.

She says she opted for arrest, but the cops told her there was no one available to take her to the station, so they called for an ambulance -- and while they waited for 45 minutes, she claims the cops "humiliated" her by holding her in handcuffs on 6th Ave.

Now, an NYPD official tells us they'd gotten a call for someone being disorderly and interrupting the show, and the responding officers thought she seemed "off" ... like she might be having some "psychiatric episode" due to her "erratic behavior." They also say Radio City staff said she'd had a few alcoholic drinks.

Lisa says she finally caught a break when the ambulance arrived, because after hearing the whole story and observing Lisa, the paramedic refused to put her in custody at a hospital ... telling her and the cops they have too many "really ill" people to treat, according to Lisa.

At that point, she says the cops threw out one last ultimatum: agree to leave the show without another word, and they'd take off the handcuffs ... or they could arrest her.

She begrudgingly chose to leave, and was released without any charge or citation. While she's not yet considering suing anyone over the incident ... Lisa says she'd love, at least, an explanation from Radio City or NYPD as to why she was 86'd.

NYPD, in its eyes, says the cops on scene simply "sweet-talked" Lisa into leaving.

BTW ... she and Matt hosted a radio show together, but had not met in person. She was excited to see his show, and possibly meet him afterward.

She even took a photo from her 2nd row seat at 8:45 PM, shortly before the show started ... and you can see an usher was watching over her even then. Lisa says she put her phone away at that point, and never took it out until after she was detained.

The Grammys have come and gone -- but all the stars who were at the show were still down to boogie once the final awards had been given out ... and that's exactly what they did.

Celebs hit the town in L.A. Sunday night -- and yes, they braved the crappy weather ... seemingly determined to party regardless of the rain and wind that was plaguing the city well into the evening. No matter ... 'cause these folks showed up and showed out in force!

One of the big get-togethers came courtesy of SZA's label -- TDE -- which hosted a slew of A-listers who rolled through to celebrate the singer's big night ... she won 3 statuettes herself.

She was in good company to ring in her wins -- stars like French Montana, Chris Brown, Keke Palmer, Big Boy, Andra Day, Storm Reid, AJ McLean, Alabama Barker and more were in attendance.

Elsewhere in L.A., the Universal Music Group party was going down -- and while there was a smattering of well-known faces who rolled through ... it was mostly smaller artists, which is ironic considering this whole TikTok feud that's unfolding.

As far as the recognizable stars -- Paris Jackson, G Flip, Adrien Brody ... and that's about it. There were a ton of other more low-key musicians/acts that popped in -- ones that are no doubt being affected by UMG yanking their music from the popular social media app.

In any case ... they looked stoked to be there and to celebrate the Grammy vibes -- whether anyone knew who they were or not!

Anyhoo ... the bashes here capped off what was most certainly a memorable night in music. There were lots of standout moments, not to mention incredible performances all around.

There were the usual artists who did their thing -- but a handful of musicians who rarely hit the stage stepped into the spotlight for historic showings ... like Joni Mitchell, Billy Joel and Tracy Chapman.

While the broadcast was full of memorable happenings, there were a few strange ones.

Phoebe Bridgers had a strong message for the guy who used to run the Grammys -- even though he ain't dead yet ... she wished an awful farewell in the afterlife once his day comes.

The singer shared her harsh words Sunday night while talking to the press backstage after her group boygenius' big win ... taking a moment to single out Neil Portnow -- the former CEO of the Recording Academy -- and his infamous sentiment from a few years ago.

Check out what Phoebe had to say about NP's note to women in the music industry 5 years ago -- when he told them they should "step up" if they wanted to be nominated more. She said she hopes he "rots in piss" once he dies ... a twisted take on RIP, obviously.

Safe to say ... PB hasn't forgotten that, not to mention the fact that he's embroiled in a lawsuit that alleges he sexually assaulted a woman -- something he's adamantly denied.

Nevertheless, Phoebe unloaded on him ... highlighting her win, and the fact the Academy seems to have turned the page from Portnow, and that there's more female artists being nominated than perhaps ever before.

Portnow hasn't addressed her comments ... and he's been out of the spotlight for a while now, having exited his role as top dog at the Grammys in 2018 with Harvey Mason Jr. replacing him.

Jay-Z kept it real at the Grammys -- during his acceptance speech, he defended Beyoncé ... suggesting she oughta have more wins herself, including the long-elusive top prize.

The Roc Nation honcho was given an honorary statuette Sunday night dubbed the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award -- and Hov went up there to accept with his daughter, Blue Ivy, by his side ... and with Bey looking on from the audience.

Jay-Z went on to address his history with the Grammys -- including feelings he's experienced over the years where he thought it'd be worth boycotting, for one reason or another.

That led him to basically get to the point that he and his contemporaries just want the Grammys to get it right ... even if it's not perfect, the Recording Academy can at least strive toward being better -- and he suggested the award show had gotten better in recent years.

Then came some tension ... Jay singled out Beyonce and said some things the Grammy voters do doesn't make sense -- including giving her the most Grammy awards ever (Bey holds the record at 32 total) ... but not giving her the crème de la crème, Album of the Year.

Jay harped on this point a little longer ... saying one thing doesn't track with the other.

It was a little awkward, no doubt -- because he basically articulated a gripe Beyoncé fans have long aired out about her continuously being snubbed at the Grammys ... including as recently as last year, when Harry Styles took ATOY over 'Renaissance.'

Her loyal base has been outraged before, but now ... it's obvious that it bothers Jay -- and, presumably, Bey herself as well. Jigga wasn't done airing his grievances just yet though.

Jay went on to say that some people there in the building will go home feelin robbed -- and in some cases, he said they may be right ... but in others, not so much. In fact, Jay said some of the artists that were nominated didn't even deserve to be in the category.

That spurred a chorus of oohs/ahhhs, but he didn't name any names. It was spicy, though.

Anyway, Jay spoke his piece and made it known -- he thinks Bey should be more celebrated than she already is ... and his advice to her (and others) was to just to keep showing up.

The biggest night in music is finally here ... the Grammy Awards are just about to kick off, and a whole boatload of stars have arrived on the red carpet.

Each and every celeb's letting their outfit do the talking -- or singing in this case --and here are just a few of the best we've seen so far.

Dua Lipa's there in a low-cut silver gown and fiery hair that matches the vaunted red carpet while Billie Eilish pulled up in a "Barbie" letterman's jacket -- adding a splash of color to her trademark black. And, it seems Miley Cyrus is channeling the energy of a lion, emanating courage in her sheer golden gown.

Indie supergroup Boygenius coordinated well -- white suits, black ties, pink roses and tight grips on each others hands while smiling for the paps snapping pics.

A couple of the hottest producers in the world, DJ Paul and Skrillex also hit the carpet -- wearing very similar all-black outfits. As they say ... great music minds dress alike!!!

Other celebs we know who've hit the carpet ... Calvin Harris, Babyface, Paris Jackson, Niecy Nash, FINNEAS, Jacob Collier, Alix Earle, Landon Barker, Zach Bryan, Laverne Cox, Kelly Osbourne, Lainey Wilson, Josh Groban, Brandi Carlile, Jameela Jamil and James Blake -- just to name a few.

8:20 PM PT -- TMZ has obtained new video and info that sheds more light onto the Killer Mike situation -- including the fact that he's now being booked for battery on a citizen's arrest ... this after he allegedly got physical with a security guard at the venue, while out in the rain.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Mike was booked for misdemeanor battery Sunday evening, this after a private person's arrest took place at Crypto.com Arena. We're told KM is accused of knocking down a security officer after they did not get out of his way quick enough -- the apparent aftermath of which looks to have been caught on tape, seen here.

We got a hold of video that seems to show Mike being chased down outside in the windy rain, where security personnel can be seen attempting to stop him ... with Mike looking determined to get by them. You can't see any "knock-down" as has been described to us by law enforcement -- but it does look like he faces off with security guards in tense fashion.

Eventually, Mike was cuffed and led away in the rain as well. It's still unclear what exactly led up to this -- remember, just moments earlier, he was inside soaking in the Grammy win.

Killer Mike's Grammys night came to an early end ... because he was just led out of the event in handcuffs -- after an alleged physical altercation.

A journalist for The Hollywood Reporter posted video to X showing the Run The Jewels rapper leaving the venue with a police escort ... hands bound behind his back.

The 48-year-old doesn't look particularly concerned as he's being led away ... chatting amicably with a man who is walking alongside him and police before saying hello to someone else in a tuxedo.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Killer Mike was detained after allegedly getting into some kind of physical altercation with a security guard at the event.

We're told he's not under arrest, and officers are still trying to sort out exactly what happened.

It must feel like an emotional roller coaster for KM and his fans after an afternoon full of highs.

Mike's already got his Grammys ... he took wins in all three categories he was nominated for including Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Album and Best Rap Song -- though his win in the last contributed to some controversy and conspiracies.

We've reached out to Killer Mike's team ... so far no word back.

Bill Maher says Kanye West's antisemitism and appeal to young people is a dangerous mix ... which is why Kanye's appearance on Bill's podcast won't ever see the light of day.

We talked to Bill for a new "TMZ Investigates" airing Monday at 9 PM ET/8 Central on FOX -- examining how Kanye's legacy as one of the most influential hip hop artists of all time is impacted by his public outbursts and hateful remarks -- and Bill says Kanye's views are way too problematic for him.

Bill tells us the biggest problem with Kanye is how he uses his massive platform to spread antisemitic propaganda ... as BM puts it, Ye's spreading the fertilizer for antisemitism to grow.

While Bill tried to have a meaningful dialogue with Kanye, bringing him in for a two-hour conversation on the "Club Random With Bill Maher" podcast, Bill says he ultimately decided against airing the episode because he didn't want to amplify Kanye's nasty rhetoric.

Bill sums up his experience with Kanye this way ... Ye's a "charming antisemite."
