Pamela Anderson says she might pull a Kim Kardashian and ask President Trump to pardon WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.

We got Pam Wednesday in NYC as reports surfaced that the Prez was prepping to grant clemency to several prisoners. So, with Pam being a huge advocate for her friend Assange, we asked if she'd go to Trump to clear Assange's name in the U.S. -- even though he hasn't been charged with a crime here, yet.

Pam says it would be "the smartest move" -- not sure if she meant her visiting Trump, or Trump pardoning Assange.

Of course, this comes on the heels of Kim Kardashian successfully lobbying POTUS to release Alice Marie Johnson ... so, makes sense Pam could be feeling empowered.

After all, Pam's been going to bat for Assange, saying he's a misunderstood soul ... not a criminal hacker. We suspect the President would be more likely to show mercy on a grandmother who got a life sentence for a first time, nonviolent offense.

Kevin Garnett's younger sister is in serious trouble after cops say she tried to rob THREE check cashing stores in South Carolina ... while making bomb threats.

It all started on Monday ... cops say Ashley Danyelle Phelps tried to rob a Check Into Cash in Greenville -- and told employees she had a bomb. Someone pressed a panic button and Phelps fled without any loot.

The next day, cops say Phelps tried to hit another Check Into Cash store -- but failed so she went to an Advance America shop instead and once again told employees she had a bomb.

Police responded and 37-year-old Phelps was captured a short time later.

She was formally charged with 2 counts of armed robbery, 2 counts of making a bomb threat and 1 count of attempted armed robbery.

She's currently being held in Greenville County Detention Center after a judge denied her bond.

San Francisco 49ers linebacker Reuben Foster just caught another break ... he won't do any jail time in his illegal weapons case after cutting plea deal with prosecutors.

Foster was initially hit with a misdemeanor possession of an assault weapon charge after cops say they found a SIG Sauer 516 with a high-capacity magazine at the NFL player's home.

He was facing serious prison time if convicted.

But, Foster's legal team got the charge reduced to a misdemeanor and he ultimately cut a deal in which he pled no contest and in exchange got 2 years probation, 232 hours of community service and $235 in fines.

Officials tell TMZ Sports ... as part of his probation, Foster may not possess guns of any kind.

Mira Sorvino says Harvey Weinstein's wasting precious time and money -- taxpayers' money -- with his "not guilty" plea ... because he's guilty as sin and everyone knows it.

We got Mira in NYC Wednesday outside NBC, and asked what she thought of his arraignment this week. Remember, Mira says Weinstein sexually harassed her multiple times while she was acting in his films back in the '90s.

Mira's said she won't feel at peace until Weinstein's convicted, and it's clear in this clip ... she wants a quicker path to that end -- so, his not guilty plea ain't sitting well with her.

We know this ... Mira's dad, Paul Sorvino, might be the only person who wants Weinstein to pay more than her.

Glen "Big Baby" Davis has been formally charged with felony assault stemming from an alleged violent altercation in April and if he's convicted ... he faces up to 7 YEARS in prison, TMZ Sports has learned.

We broke the story ... the 32-year-old ex-NBA player was arrested last month after prosecutors say he beat the living hell out of a man outside a West Hollywood nightclub.

The alleged victim was hospitalized with several major injuries including facial fractures, a broken tooth and broken ribs.

A rep for the L.A. County District Attorney's office tells us the official charge is felony assault with force likely to cause great bodily injury ... and it carries a possible 7-year prison sentence.

Ex-WWE superstar Brian Christopher Lawler -- who famously wrestled as Grandmaster Sexay in the tag team Too Cool with Scotty 2 Hotty -- was arrested in Memphis after allegedly running from a hotel bill.

46-year-old Lawler -- the son of Jerry "The King" Lawler -- was allegedly staying at a Hampton Inn in downtown Memphis ... when he tried to flee the place without paying.

Cops found Lawler a short time later and arrested him for theft of services under $1,000. Lawler reportedly told cops he used a credit card that simply didn't have the funds to cover the $802 hotel bill.

Lawler has a history with cops ... he was arrested at least 3 times in 2009 -- once for disorderly conduct and another time for allegedly threatening a police officer.

Lil Scrappy just got the same treatment from cops that Offset received after crashing his whip -- he won't be facing prosecution over the accident ... at least for now.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that police have closed their investigation into Scrappy's violent car wreck over the weekend -- which left him and a friend hospitalized and seriously injured. As we reported ... Scrappy says he doesn't remember the crash or the aftermath.

We're told cops didn't find any evidence of drugs or alcohol, and no other cars or witnesses were involved ... which led to their decision not to pursue criminal charges against the driver -- whom they believe was Scrappy.

What police did find, however, was nearby surveillance footage that captured the crash, which cops say shows Scrappy's car veering off the road, hitting a utility pole. Scrappy blamed it on exhaustion.

Here's the kicker ... although Scrappy won't be charged, sources say the case could be reopened if, God forbid, someone dies. Remember, Scrappy's friend, Ca$ino Roulette, was in ICU because his injuries were so serious.

Gilbert Arenas claims the woman who got a temporary restraining order against him is lying and just sent a very crass message to her:

"Listen I know my d*ck is like crack but don’t play yea self."

TMZ Sports broke the story ... a woman who says she's been in an on-again, off-again relationship with the ex-NBA star says he's been harassing her and threatening to send naked pics and videos to her 10-year-old son.

According to court docs filed in L.A. County Superior Court and obtained by TMZ Sports ... the woman obtained a temporary restraining order against Arenas.

Arenas is upset and lashed out on Instagram ... saying, "Which one of u funky bitches lying on me? 99% of u hoes couldnt get me too call u back after I hit #VaginasWereTrash."

"Now Someone wants a restraining on me ?? listen I know my d*ck is like crack but don’t play yea self...like I’m bothering one of y’all.

He also called TMZ "#fakenews" -- despite the fact we literally quoted the documents that were filed in court word-for-word.

Another NFL player is accused of attacking a woman -- this time, it's Indianapolis Colts defensive end Chris McCain ... who's being charged with battery stemming from a January incident.

According to official documents obtained by TMZ Sports ... the 26-year-old is accused of spitting on a woman and forcefully grabbing her neck in Los Angeles on January 7.

Details surrounding the incident are unclear -- we know he's been formally charged with 2 misdemeanor counts of battery.

If convicted, McCain faces up to 6 months in jail plus fines and probation.

It's a big deal for the Colts ... they're expecting big things from McCain after a solid 2017 season with the Chargers ... when he racked up 5 sacks in 15 games.

Songwriting legend Diane Warren might wanna look away from this one ... some guy claims she stole one of her biggest hit songs from him -- 31 years ago -- and now he wants 8 figures.

The lawsuit was filed by Brendan Greaves, who says he was 14 years old back in 1987 when he wrote a tune called "Look Away." If you're not up on your '80s rock ballads ... the band Chicago had a #1 hit by the same name back in 1988. Diane wrote the song.

According to docs, obtained by TMZ, Greaves says Diane copyrighted her tune 8 months after he submitted his "Look Away" to the National Schools Make Music Competition in England, where he lived, and which was sponsored by a division of EMI Records.

In the suit, Greaves says he thinks EMI gave Diane access to his song. He points out the eerie similarity in lyrics. For example, his says ... "If you see me walking by with a tear in my eye, look away, baby look away."

Diane's says ... "If you see me walking by and the tears are in my eyes, look away, baby, look away."

Ok, so why in the world did it take him 30 years to discover this? Greaves says he lives in a quiet village in the UK, and was "blissfully unaware" of the Chicago smash hit.

We question the use of the word, "blissfully" ... the song kinda rocks. In an '80s soft rock kinda way.

Tyrese just got slapped with a lawsuit for owing a ton of cash to American Express.

American Express sued the singer and, according to the docs obtained by TMZ, he owes an unpaid balance of $61,071.35.

TMZ broke the story ... Tyrese said he was having huge money problems back in November stemming from his ongoing feud with his ex-wife, Norma Gibson. Tyrese had filed docs claiming he pulls in $105,686 per month, but has monthly expenses of $107,576.

According to docs he filed at the time, Tyrese said he had nearly $900k in the bank and had real property worth close to $2 million.

Janet Jackson's call to police over the weekend and the stories that followed are connected to her custody trial with Wissam Al Mana, but she's not the one stirring the pot ... according to our sources.

Janet's London custody case is contentious ... not because either parent thinks the other is unfit. Our sources say Janet's having trouble because she wants 1-year-old Eissa in the U.S. with her. Problem is ... Janet chose to move to London to be with Wissam and that's where Eissa was born. It was her decision to move back to the U.S. after they broke up, and that may be giving Wissam the edge.

Janet was indeed upset with Wissam over the weekend and we've learned she called the cops twice -- once on Friday and again Saturday. Thing is ... it was all about Wissam not making Wi-Fi available to Janet's nanny because cell service was spotty in Malibu and Janet wanted communication.

Stories initially surfaced that the nanny became frightened by Wissam's "aggressive behavior." The way the initial story went ... she was "terrified by his behavior and locked herself in a bathroom so she could contact Janet." That story did not come from Janet ... it came directly from her brother, Randy.

Sources connected to the former couple say Randy is fanning the flames of conflict to help Janet gain an edge in her custody case. They say her call had nothing to do with a terrified nanny. It was all about cell phone service, although she did drop a reference to drug use.

We're told cops went out and were literally there only a few minutes before they realized nothing was wrong and told them to deal with the cell phone service issue themselves.

Richard Simmons has sued a private investigator who he claims put a tracking device on his car to help tabloids prove what appears to be a false story that the fitness guru was undergoing a sex change.

Simmons and his caretaker, Teresa Reveles, filed the suit against P.I. Scott Brian Matthews, claiming he put a tracking device on Reveles car so he could shadow Simmons and see if he was visiting hospitals.

Simmons gets around L.A. in Reveles' car ... he relies on her for transportation.

The suit claims the device was attached to Reveles' car for more than a year.

Simmons claims Matthews has used at least 17 tracking devices to shadow more than a dozen people.

Richard says when he and Reveles discovered the tracking device he suffered mental anguish, anxiety, feeling of powerlessness, frustration and humiliation.

Simmons sued the National Enquirer for defamation after it published a story saying he was in the middle of a sex change. A trial judge dismissed the case, ruling that calling someone transgender does not expose the person to hatred or ridicule. Simmons is appealing the dismissal.

Gilbert Arenas has been hit with a restraining order after a woman told authorities the ex-NBA star has been threatening to send naked videos of her to her son ... this according to docs obtained by TMZ Sports.

The woman claims she's been in an on-and-off relationship with Gilbert since 2016 -- but recently tried to end things for good.

Gilbert allegedly took the breakup badly and began harassing and threatening the woman and her 10-year-old son.

"Gilbert told me he was watching me at [my] son's school and that he had just saw him go into class," the woman wrote in docs filed in L.A. County Superior Court.

"He said he was waiting to get my son's cell phone number from his son so that he could send my child naked photos of me and video of Gilbert and I having sex and video of me naked."

The woman also claims on May 23, Arenas banged on her door and when he came in ... pushed her against the wall and demanded sex. She claims she obliged out of fear.

The woman included text messages she claims are from Arenas ... in which he says:

"Wait til u son see ur naked pictures. Imma start f*cking with your life. He has a phone right?"

She added, "When I break things off with him he becomes very vindictive so I try to oblige however he's feeling and try to soothe him. But I am very concerned that Gilbert would harm my child and or send photos and videos to my son's phone under the guise of someone else."

The woman asked the judge to order Arenas to stop contacting her and her son and NOT to send her son any photos or videos. Her request was granted by the judge ... at least temporarily. There's a hearing at the end of the month.

Harvey Weinstein cracked a smile as he walked into court before pleading not guilty to rape and criminal sex act charges.

The disgraced movie mogul -- flanked by his attorneys -- entered his plea in a low, gravely voice Tuesday morning in an NYC court. He struck a serious tone throughout the hearing ... looking straight the entire time. He's free on $1 million bail.

As we reported ... Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance Jr. announced last week the grand jury handed up charges of rape in the first and third degrees, as well as committing a criminal sexual act in the first degree.

Vance said the indictment brings Weinstein "another step closer to accountability for the crimes of violence with which he is now charged."

Weinstein's lawyer, Ben Brafman, had previously said he thinks prosecutors have "unfairly denied access to critical information about this case."

The guy who claims Dr. Phil badly injured him when his car allegedly plowed into him has some explaining to do ... because we got the surveillance video and he didn't seem hurt at all.

TMZ has obtained video of the October incident, which shows Dr. Phil trying to pass a van in front of him on the way out of the Universal Studios parking structure. You see him pull around the van ... coming in contact with the skateboarder.

The impact seems pretty mild -- and the skateboarder was able to get up and shake Dr. Phil's hand. As we previously reported, the skateboarder told Phil he was fine, but after a passerby called paramedics, he told the EMT's he was injured.

As we reported ... the skateboarder was gearing up to sue Dr. Phil, claiming he experienced pain and injuries after the fact. We've reached out to the alleged victim's attorney, John H. Mardoyan, who tells us ... "After viewing the video footage, we have decided to no longer represent Terrence Bembury in the matter."
