Chiefs Star Frank Clark Hit With Gun Charge ... Over Uzi Arrest

Published

K.C. Chiefs star Frank Clark has been hit with another gun charge ... this stemming from his June arrest where he allegedly drove around with an uzi in his car.

TMZ Sports broke the story ... Clark was pulled over in L.A. back on June 20 for a routine traffic violation, when cops say they saw an uzi sticking out of an open duffle bag in his Lambo SUV.

Clark was arrested and booked for illegal possession of a firearm ... and law enforcement sources tell us L.A. prosecutors formally hit him with one count of possession of an assault weapon this week.

Clark is due in court for a hearing on the matter on Jan. 17 ... one week after the Chiefs' season is scheduled to end.

Of course, Clark was already facing a separate gun charge related to another incident in California on March 13.

In that case, cops say they pulled over the 28-year-old and another man for failing to display a front license plate.

Police say during the stop, they noticed a gun in the car ... and after searching the ride, they say they found two loaded firearms, and arrested both men.

Sources close to Clark at the time claimed the guns did NOT belong to the NFL player -- but rather to a member of his security team.

Clark hasn't had his best season with the legal troubles looming over his head ... he's battled injuries and has just 5 tackles and no sacks in three games.

Blueface MOM ALLEGEDLY ATTACKED IN HOME ... Cops Think He Might Have Been Target

Published

Blueface's mom and stepdad say they were attacked in a violent home invasion at a place her son owns ... and it sounds like the alleged attackers were there to go after the rapper.

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... Blueface's mom, Karlissa Saffold, and her husband got into a physical altercation with 4 men who broke into the Santa Clarita home where they stay.

We're told the men shattered a back window around midnight, but were scared away for some reason, and Blueface's mom and stepdad called the cops, who took a report.

It's pretty scary ... we're told the suspects returned a few hours later and somehow got inside the house, and Blueface's stepdad heard something downstairs and went to investigate.

We're told the stepdad bumped into one of the suspects and they started fighting. Our sources say another intruder joined the altercation, pointing an object at the stepdad before striking him in the head with it.

We're told the stepdad suffered a concussion and injuries requiring 10 stitches near his left eye ... and his face was a bloody mess.

Our sources say the 4 suspects fled and Blueface's family called the police, who brought the stepdad to the hospital for treatment. He's since been released.

A second police report was filed and we're told the Santa Clarita County Sheriff's Office is investigating ... but there have been no arrests so far and nothing appears to have been taken from the home.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... one working theory is Blueface was the intended target ... but he wasn't home at the time, and doesn't live there.

We're told there are no suspects yet and law enforcement is still seeking cooperation from all involved.

Sisqo is giving Drake some sage advice on how to deal with doppelgängers ... he says it's best not to drag them to court.

We got the "Thong Song" singer in New York City this week and asked him what Champagne Papi should do about his imposter down in Miami who is going clubbing all over South Beach.

Sisqo's a bit of an expert in this particular area ... remember, he infamously dealt with a lookalike back in 2017, when the imposter was able to score all sorts of perks at New York Fashion Week.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

The Drake impostor recently cropped up in Miami, and he's been getting tons of attention.

Sisqo says whenever Drake finds the guy's true identity, it doesn't do a lot of good to sue him ... a departure from Sisqo's original reaction to his own impostor.

Despite threatening legal action back in the day, Sisqo says he never followed through with a lawsuit ... after finding some common ground with the fake Sisqo.

Bottom line for Sisqo ... impersonation is the best form of flattery.

MLB Star Wander Franco Cops New Mercedes ... $20k Iced-Out Steering Wheel

Published | Updated

You've heard of iced-out chains, watches and teeth ... but how about a freakin' iced-out STEERING WHEEL!?!

MLB rising superstar Wander Franco -- the former top prospect in baseball -- is bringing new meaning to car customization ... by copping a brand new Mercedes Benz AMG GLE 53 -- with a steering wheel decked out in diamonds!!

TMZ Sports has learned ... the Tampa Bay Rays shortstop wanted a one-of-a-kind whip, so he put together a team of specialists to personalize the Benz from top to bottom.

We're told Wander used the Auto Spa to do the all-white interior featuring his "El Patron" nickname ... which came with a $100k price tag.

On top of that, Franco's business partner, Nick Drbal, took it one step further with the steering wheel -- done by Gabriel The Jeweler -- to make the car extra special.

Including the cost of the car, the whole project was $235k.

"Wander is the biggest car enthusiast I’ve met," Drbal tells us. "He has every car possible right now. When he said he wanted something different, we had to get clever."

"So, why not ice-out a steering wheel?"

Hey, when you got money, ya can't argue with that logic. Franco signed a $3.825 million deal to join the Rays back in 2017 ... and is set to make a TON more throughout his career.

So yeah, treat yourself, Franco.

Brandon Moreno says he genuinely appreciates the respect Deiveson Figueiredo showed him after their June rematch ... but now realizes it was all BS, and the UFC champ's ready to make DF pay.

TMZ Sports talked to the 27-year-old flyweight champ ... and we asked him if he and 33-year-old Figueiredo have bad blood after their rematch.

"The guy was very respectful right after the fight, he came to hug me and everything and that was nice," Brandon says.

"I had much respect for him doing that but man, one week after the fight, he start with the interviews and the excuses and start to say again that I'm scared of him. 'C'mon! You respectful or no?' That is too fake to me."

Of course, their first fight in December 2020 was a draw. In the rematch, Moreno was dominant ... submitting Deiveson via a rear-naked choke in the 3rd round.

After the fight, Figueiredo was super congratulatory of Brandon ... even embracing him in the Octagon.

But, that only lasted a few days ... and the #1 contender was running his mouth again.

Now, the men are scheduled to fight for a third time at UFC 270 in January 2022 ... and Moreno says he's focused on starching DF.

"I felt like I won [the first fight] by decision. The second one was a submission. So, this time I go for the knockout, why not?"

And, even though he won convincingly this summer, Brandon says he's prepping for an even better version of his opponent.

"I'm waiting for the best, best Deiveson Figueiredo. I'm waiting for a Deiveson Figueiredo with a better diet. I'm waiting for a Deiveson Figueiredo with a better cardio, improving in every single area."

The guys don't fight for 3 months ... but it's clear they can't wait to get their hands on each other.

Boxer JoJo Diaz Ryan Garcia Is A B***h ... And So Is Devin Haney!!

STOP ALL THE TALK
TMZSports.com

Boxing champ JoJo Diaz says he's leaving Ryan Garcia in the rearview and focusing his attention squarely on Devin Haney ... a boxer he tells TMZ Sports is a straight-up b*tch who he plans to hand his first loss.

28-year-old Diaz (32 wins, 1 loss, 1 draw) -- the WBC interim lightweight champ -- was scheduled to fight Garcia, but Ry pulled out with a hand injury, and JoJo is in no mood to wait -- so he's calling out 22-year-old Haney.

"I think [the hand injury] was just an excuse that [Garcia] wanted to make up in order for me not to fight him in November," Diaz alleged.

JoJo continued... "I'm not gonna be waiting on Ryan Garcia to be giving the fight fans what they want and deserve. I'm pushing for the Devin Haney fight."

Haney -- the WBC lightweight champ who's 26-0 with 15 knockouts -- is considered one of the best young boxers in the world ... but Diaz believes Devin's been flapping his gums too much, and he wants to make him pay.

"At the end of the day, I'm really really pushing to get this Devin Haney fight. He's been talking a lot of s**t too, and he's a b***h just like Ryan Garcia was."

JoJo tells us he's very familiar with Haney's work in the ring ... and believes the young fighter has never really been pushed.

"Devin Haney is the type of fight that I want to fight because I know that I can beat him, I know that he's an inexperienced fighter that hasn't been tested, he's only been tested once, got wobbled, and I feel like I'm the type of fighter who is gonna give him his first L," Diaz says.

FYI, JoJo is referring to Haney's fight with 36-year-old veteran boxer, Jorge Linares ... who seemingly hurt Devin in the late rounds of their May 2021 fight. Haney ultimately recovered and won via unanimous decision.

Diaz says the plan is to fight Haney at the beginning of December ... and the fight is very close to being signed, sealed and delivered.

"Right now it's looking about 80 to 90% done. Me and my team already got the contract already sent to us, so now we're in negotiations and hopefully, we can lock in something by the end of this week."

Now, if you had your heart set on JoJo and Ryan scrapping ... all hope isn't lost.

"Ryan Garcia, maybe later on down the line once I beat Devin Haney, could be a fight I'd be willing to negotiate and to talk about."

Jamie Lynn Spears' Book Claims Parents Controlled Her, Pushed Abortion ... Warned Giving Birth at 16 Would Ruin Career

Published | Updated

Jamie Lynn Spears says she went through hell when pregnant at 16, and her parents and team were a driving force behind her misery ... pushing adoption, abortion and going to great lengths to hide her from the public.

We've obtained several snippets from Spears' upcoming book "Things I Should Have Said" where she lays out the events that followed her telling her parents and management she was pregnant in 2007.

In one passage, Spears says people from her inner circle, "... came to my room trying to convince me that having a baby at this point in my life was a terrible idea … 'It will kill your career. You are just too young. You don’t know what you’re doing. There are pills you can take. We can help you take care of this problem … I know a doctor,'" adding, "everyone around me just wanted to make this 'issue' disappear."

Jamie Lynn says flatly, "...everyone was certain that termination would be the best course of action."

Spears says her phone was taken away to stop her from communicating with people outside her immediate circle ... the goal being to keep everything on the down-low.

Jamie Lynn claims she wasn't even allowed to tell Britney she was pregnant, saying, "I needed her more than ever and she wasn’t able to help me in my most vulnerable time … To this day, the hurt of not being able to tell my sister myself still lingers.”

At one point, Jamie Lynn says she and her dad Jamie got into a fight over the unborn baby, "slinging words and tossing insults" when he pushed adoption.

Spears says eventually her team made an exclusive agreement with OK! Magazine to break the pregnancy story, and give them the first images of Jamie Lynn's baby.

Jamie Lynn says she and her mom went to some cabin in where she thought was Connecticut to hide until the article came out. The two spent Thanksgiving there together, where "Momma wore her disappointment like her favorite jacket."

Jamie Lynn has come under a lot of heat lately from Britney fans who feel she's taking advantage of Britney's current situation to make a buck off the book, but if the snippets we've obtained are any indication ... she's also got a lot to say about how she was raised and her parent's tactics.

The book comes out January 18, 2022.

We talked about it on the latest episode of the TMZ podcast.

President Biden is dead wrong about the effectiveness of community policing and the need to bolster police numbers and budgets ... at least according to author Derecka Purnell.

Derecka, who has a new book on abolishing the police, joined us Friday on "TMZ Live" and laid into the Prez over his pro-police rhetoric during Thursday's Biden Town Hall.

She says Biden's trying to distance himself from the 1994 crime bill, but is regurgitating some of what she sees as the same failed policies this time around ... and she's not buying what Biden's selling in terms of community policing.

The way Derecka sees it ... community policing doesn't work like most folks might think, and she says the fatal interaction between Derek Chauvin and George Floyd is a perfect example of why it doesn't make much difference if cops know those in the community they're policing.

Derecka is a bit of an expert on the topic ... she's got a new book out called "Becoming Abolitionists: Police, Protests, and The Pursuit of Freedom."

She says nice police don't equal non-violent police ... and thinks Biden is missing out on a chance to make amends.

YouTubers Charles & Alyssa Wear Costumes For Video, Return 'Em ... Fair Or Foul?!?

Published | Updated

YouTube stars Charles & Alyssa Forever went on a huge shopping spree at a Spirit Halloween store in Arizona ... but after they got what they wanted for a video, they returned the merch.

The YouTubers strolled in to the Spirit Halloween costume store in Tempe earlier this month, and we're told they spent over $1,000 on costumes and accessories.

The store's employee, Tracy, tells us she recognized the couple when they came in ... and she helped them shop for several hours and even gave them a 20% discount on one of the items.

Tracy says she asked the YouTubers if they needed the costumes for a party and Charles told her ... "Something like that."

Not long after, we're told staff at the store noticed the couple posted 2 videos wearing the costumes ... and then they were shocked when Charles' sister came in and returned almost $900 worth of used gear.

Some of the costumes worn and returned by the YouTubers include ... Chucky, nun, priest, escaped convict, policeman, nurse and hospital gown costumes. They also purchased a flask.

We’re told store staff decided not to put the flask back on shelves because of the obvious ... someone may have already put their mouth on it.

While it sounds like this may rub some folks the wrong way at Spirit ... fact is, the store can't do anything or investigate because it’s not illegal, and the return policy is very flexible.

Charles and Alyssa tell TMZ ... they used the costumes for a video about cheap Halloween costumes for couples on a budget, and they wore the costumes for a couple minutes and never stepped foot out of the house in them.

The couple says they specifically asked about the return policy when they were shopping, and felt comfortable returning what they paid for ... not thinking it would be a big deal.

The YouTubers say there was no wear and tear and it was like trying the costumes on in the store ... only they did it at home and took them back.

Charles and Alyssa say they didn't use all the items, never touched the flask with their mouths, packed the costumes back nicely and returned a lot of items that didn't fit.

They say they followed the return policy and don't think they did anything wrong ... and point out Spirit should benefit from getting a video shout-out.

The same thing that's hurt Kate Beckinsale's career is helping Ross Butler's take off in Hollywood, and that thing is ... brain power!!! Lots of it.

We got the "13 Reasons Why" and "Riverdale" star Thursday at LAX, and considering his collegiate history, he's the perfect person to address Kate's recent reveal about her high IQ.

ICYMI ... KB told Howard Stern her intelligence has hurt her career. She wasn't specific about why, but added that doctors have said she'd be much happier if she were less brilliant.

Well, Ross -- who studied biomolecular and chemical engineering -- says he's had a much different experience. Check out his explanation for why his smarts are making him a better actor. BTW, it's not like he's playing brilliant scientists on camera.

DON'T BE A JERK
TMZSports.com

The Philadelphia Sixers need to trade Ben Simmons ASAP, so says Charles Barkley ... telling TMZ Sports it has to happen now that the All-Star is acting like a complete "jerk" around his team.

Simmons was suspended for the team's season opener on Wednesday after 76ers head coach Doc Rivers kicked him out of practice for "detrimental conduct."

We spoke with Barkley the same day of the disciplinary action --- and he tells us that the one-game suspension won't solve the issues.

"They should've suspended him longer," the Hall of Famer says, "he's not going to be better Friday."

"Today is Wednesday, they only suspended him for a day. They should suspend him for longer. Plain and simple."

In fact, Chuck believes the Sixers should ship his ass outta town -- and is contemplating why Simmons even bothered showin' up to the Sixers' facility if he was gonna "be a jerk."

"I'm disappointed. If he wasn't gon' play, he should have never came to training camp," Chuck says.

"You don't come to work and then be a jerk. You don't practice with a cell phone in your pocket!"

Well, that trade might not come anytime soon -- 76ers GM Daryl Morey said this spectacle can last four years unless they get a "difference-maker" type of trade.

Stay strong, Sixers fans.

RE-FUND THE POLICE
TMZ.com

President Joe Biden has taken heat for his comments this weekend that he wants to spend MORE on policing -- not defunding the police as some have advocated -- and one of his top advisors says if Biden had his way several years ago, Alton Sterling would be alive today.

Cedric Richmond was on TMZ Live Thursday to outline the Prez's agenda when it comes to improvements he wants to make in training American police forces. Biden recently raised eyebrows among supporters when he said he did not want to defund the police, but instead, build them up.

101621_joe_biden_kal 10/16/21
NO SMALL TASK

Richmond says Biden wants to put more money behind cops, but spend it on things like body cams, better training and even mental health experts within departments.

Richmond tells us community policing -- where officers take the time to meet and learn about members of a community -- can potentially be life-saving ... using the killing of Alton Sterling as an example of a life that could have been spared with better policing.

While a formal bill has not yet been signed to back police forces, Richmond believes anything Biden brings forward will only be beneficial ... no matter the extra cost.
