Ohio State's dominant run over Michigan ain't lasting long ... so says Charles Woodson, who tells TMZ Sports the Wolverines are closing the gap soon!!

Of course, it's a bold statement from the NFL Hall of Famer ... 'cause Michigan is now 0-8 against the Buckeyes in the last 8 years -- and has just one win overall against its rival since 2004.

But, C-Wood is confident that reign is ending soon ... and tells us he's pretty sure Jim Harbaugh will be sticking around as head coach to see it.

As for if he'd take over if Harbaugh fails ... Woodson told us there's absolutely no way that happens.

Maitland Ward says there's a lot of porn potential in two controversial ads for this holiday season -- and it sounds like she wants to do 'em ... make them into spoofs, we mean.

We talked to the former "Boy Meets World" actress -- who played Rachel for a few seasons,  but has since turned to adult films -- and asked her about the recent Hallmark commercial that was temporarily yanked from the network because it featured a lesbian couple kissing. Maitland says the move was ridiculous, and yes ... she was offended.

Our photog went a little deeper though and asked a natural follow-up ... any potential there for a porno spin on it??? Check it out -- seems like Maitland thinks there might be a sex-filled future, which she says would absolutely piss off Hallmark. Hmmm ... you think?!?

More than that though, she says the highly-mocked Peloton ad is porn gold. She doesn't exactly explain why, but we'll just let your dirty imagination run wild with the possibilities.

Pete Davidson took many people aback on 'SNL' by seemingly announcing he was going to rehab for the holidays -- and if he's serious ... Alonzo Bodden has some advice.

We ran into the comic Sunday at LAX and asked him to weigh in on what appeared to be Pete implying he'd be checking into a rehab facility soon -- something he danced around on 'Weekend Update' without saying "rehab." It couldn't have been clearer though.

Alonzo -- who's a recovering alcoholic -- tells us he doesn't know Pete, but acknowledges there's usually more going on behind a person's public persona.

That said, he explains how rehab is different for everybody -- as no one goes in for just one thing. So long as whoever checks in gets the specific treatment they need for whatever their issue is, that's all that matters. If Pete falls into that category, AB wishes him the best.

As for whether going public with the potential rehab stint is a good idea, Alonzo's got some thoughts there as well. He says it's a double-edged sword, which can pay off big time.

Kanye West seems ready to switch things up for his second go-around on 'Mary' -- this time, kids are going to be directly involved, as will a big surprise guest ... supposedly.

The rapper's in NYC right now, where he's hours away from his 2nd performance of his latest opera at Lincoln Center's David Geffen Hall. On Saturday, he was in rehearsals ... and a bunch of tykes were spotted onstage at the David H. Koch Theater across the way -- where we're told everyone was warming up their pipes and getting the cues down.

People on the scene tell us they saw the kids rehearsing their singing too, as we're told it appears they're going to be incorporated into the chorus of adults -- made up of Ye's Sunday Service choir, of course. That's different than what he did at Art Basel 2 weeks ago.

Kodak Black isn't letting a little thing like prison bars stop him from giving back this holiday season -- because the guy's opening up his wallet and shelling out for strangers.

The rapper's attorney, Bradford Cohen, tells TMZ ... KB is giving thousands of dollars away this Christmas -- to both charities, religious institutions and individual families. We're told Kodak has authorized his camp to buy an allotment of toys for the Paradise Day Care Center in Broward County, FL ... which will be dished out to kids from 70 different families in need.

Kevin Costner showed up to a modest-sized town hall Sunday in Indianola, Iowa and publicly backed the Southbend mayor for Prez ... reportedly telling the crowd of about 1,200 that he didn't wanna tell them who to vote for, but was simply sharing who he supported.

Of course, that's PB. Kevin went on to tout Pete's steady hand among the Democratic contenders, calling him a man of "this moment" and someone who could right the ship.

Kevin then introduced Pete and embraced him in a hug. Pretty cool moment ... but it kinda pales in comparison to the VIP treatment Bernie was met with in L.A. the day before.

The 49ers' victory this weekend was secured with heavy hearts after the team learned C.J. Beathard's brother had been killed -- something their head coach addressed head-on with grace after heading back to the locker room.

Kyle Shanahan talked to his guys after beating the Rams in the final seconds of Saturday's game, and he didn't shy away from the obvious ... their backup QB just learned of a major tragedy within his family hours before kickoff.

His younger bro, Clayton Beathard, had been stabbed to death in a bar fight out in Nashville earlier that morning.

Cops are reportedly saying the fight erupted after an "argument over a woman," which then ended up outside where Clayton and another man were fatally attacked. He was only 22.

Shanahan said he was with C.J. shortly after hearing the horrific news, and then shared what the quarterback told him as he was heading out the door. Watch ... it's gut-wrenching.

In video of the heart-to-heart moment, you can clearly see the 49ers players have tears in their eyes. Things end on an uplifting note though, as Shanahan thanks the team for playing tough in the wake of such news and pulling out a W for one of their own.

Cody Simpson and Miley Cyrus are either playing with our hearts before Christmas, or these signs are being misread. Regardless, allow us to ask ... everything alright here?

The Australian heartthrob singer was spotted out Saturday in NYC, walking alongside Playboy model Jordy Murray -- who's actually the December 2019 Playmate. So, yeah -- she's a hottie herself. What's even more curious ... no sign of Miley anywhere for this SoHo stroll.

Speaking of MC, she posted a message discussing a song she wrote about being lonely for the holidays, but it had a positive vibe ... which encouraged folks to love themselves.

Miley wrote, "In ways that still feels relevant and someone reading this right now could possibly relate! If you feel lonely this season just know YOU ARE COMPLETELY MADE OF MAGIC!" She finished her heartfelt message with ... "Love always wins!" Seems simple enough, but in light of Cody surfacing with another woman the same day, it sorta reads differently now.

As for when we last saw these two together in public, it appears to have been about two weeks ago in L.A. -- where Cody tagged along with Miley to a youth homeless shelter.

We also know they might be starting a band, but when it comes to social media -- Miley and Cody haven't appeared much together in couple-y photos for a while. The last thing Cody posted with Miley was on Nov. 23, and Miley put something up in late Oct./early Nov.

They started getting romantic soon after Miley and Kaitlynn Carter broke things off, and they were hot and heavy for a minute, especially as Miley underwent some medical procedures.

Eddie Murphy hasn't been on 'SNL' for 35 years, but his return Saturday night was worth waiting for ... and hilarious!

A bunch of celebs flocked to the show and the after-party ... and the after-party went on for a long time ... which included Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, Larry David, John McEnroe, Usher, Questlove, Luenell and Donald Glover.

During the show, Eddie reprised some of his best roles ... Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood, Buckwheat and the house fav ... Gumby! Colin Jost totally lost it during the bit.

As for Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood ... well, it featured a much older Mr. Robinson who's now a property squatter.

There was also an insanely funny sketch about 'Masked Singer' ... you just gotta watch it.

Lizzo performed during the SNL. One of the songs -- "Good as Hell" -- featured Lizzo in a tuxedo-like outfit. The entire back half of the outfit is transparent while twerking ... fun callback to the whole Laker's controversy where she twerked on the hardwood and her butt was exposed.

Bill Hader and Rachel Bilson are kicking their relationship up a notch with a heavy dose of caffeine ... and, apparently, a side of meet the family.

"Barry" the hitman was grabbing coffee -- and Rachel's hand -- Saturday at a Starbucks in Tulsa, OK. There have been rumors for a while the celebs were dating, and this seems to confirm they're pretty serious.

Some other overpriced coffee lovers in Tulsa tell us Rachel and Bill weren't flying solo -- they were with his family members. Bill is from the area, so it makes sense he's home for the holidays.

Bringing Rachel to OK sure seems like the 'SNL' alum is taking their rumored relationship to that next level. Nothing says you're serious like fighting off Christmastime mall crowds. Oh, and meeting the fam's big too.

Hilary Duff just married Matthew Koma in a private at-home ceremony in Los Angeles ... TMZ has learned.

A source close to the newlyweds tells us friends and family were invited to the couple's home Saturday for the wedding -- we're told it took place in the backyard -- and was extremely intimate.

Hilary later shared a photo of her and Matthew decked out head-to-toe in their wedding gear. You can tell they went with a simple approach, with huge smiles and an old-school whip parked just behind them.

Hilary and Matt got engaged back in May after dating for several years. Duff gave birth to the couple's daughter, Banks, in October of last year. She has a 7-year-old son, Luca, with her ex-husband, Mike Comrie.

Hilary has a busy year ahead ... it was recently announced that as part of its new programming, Disney+ will be doing a reboot of "Lizzie McGuire" which she starred in from 2001-2004.

Carrie Fisher shows up in the new 'Star Wars' movie in the flesh -- without much digital magic -- but her fam says they would've signed off on a complete CGI Princess Leia ... if it was needed.

The late actress's brother, Todd Fisher, tells TMZ ... while director J.J. Abrams and co. told them ahead of time they'd mostly be using old footage of Carrie for Leia's final appearances in 'Rise of Skywalker,' he says he wouldn't have minded a full computer-generated recreation for action sequences.

Even crazier ... Todd tells us he doesn't think his sister would've cared about a CGI rendering either. If anything, he believes she would've given her full blessing, so long as it facilitated the story, and honored the legacy of the character. Todd says, "[B]etter that than nothing."

There's more evidence Carrie would've been on board with a CGI version of herself because one already exists. Princess Leia's young face was superimposed onto another actress in the prequel to 'A New Hope' in 'Rogue One,' which filmed before Carrie died in 2016.

Wayne Brady is roasting Sarah Huckabee Sanders for making fun of Joe Biden with a stuttering joke ... calling it alarming, offensive, misinformed and ... not even funny.

We got Wayne -- who has a stutter you might not know about -- at UCB Theatre in L.A. to get his reaction to Sarah's hurtful words ... and he doesn't hold back.

Wayne says Sarah needs to shut the hell up because she has no clue how daunting a stutter can be for people who deal with speech impediments every single day ... and thinks it's disgusting she would even make a crack about it.

As you know, Sarah tried poking fun at Biden after the most recent Democratic debate, when he relayed a story about stuttering young people coming up to him and asking his advice on dealing with a stutter.

Sarah tweeted, "I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I hhave absolutely no idea what Biden is talking about" ... then quickly deleted it after she started catching tons of backlash, including from Joe himself, who pointed out how he's worked his entire life overcoming his stutter.

SHS apologized, saying she didn't know Biden had struggled with stuttering.

Anyway ... Wayne says her apology doesn't mean squat, because even if Biden didn't have a stutter, there are still plenty of people who must cope with the condition and all the difficulties it presents, so best not to go there in the first place.

TMZ Sports spoke with the Laker legend at Mastro's about the prodigy's future and whether he can be the heir to the throne ... and Magic says it's definitely possible.

"I think so," Johnson tells us. "You hope so, anyway. Normally what happens is sometimes with all that skill and talent that LeBron has, it passes to his son."

"I think that he has a chance to be unbelievable and either just as good as his dad or a little better. But, that's big shoes to fill though. LeBron is playing awesome right now. MVP of league right now."
