11/27/23 -- A Target rep is addressing the viral "call-out" from TikTokers, telling TMZ ... "A recent TikTok video showed a guest questioning if there was a sale on three Samsung TVs that had both a Black Friday sale sign, as well as a sale sign behind it indicating the same price."

They add, "In fact, the TVs were on sale before Black Friday as part of our early Black Friday sales. We continued to offer those items at the same discount during Black Friday, but updated the signage to reflect the extended timing. "

The rep continues, "In both instances, guests would have saved the same amount, between $20-$80 depending on which TV they purchased. Those discounted prices compared to the regular prices are clearly shown in both sale signs in the video.

And finally, "We know our guests are looking for flexibility when they shop holiday deals, which is why we began Black Friday deals in late October and will continue offering great discounts throughout the holiday season. We also offer a Price Match Guarantee, and will match the price of any item purchased by a guest that is offered at a lower price later in the season."

TikTokers are hitting Target to prove the big box store's Black Friday deals may not be what they seem -- showing off some sticker prices as being equal ... regardless of the day.

There's a viral trend on the app right now -- namely, Gen Z'ers going to their local bullseye center and wading through the Black Friday sales that were going on yesterday. Based on what they're capturing though ... they seem to be suggesting clever marketing is afoot.

Check out the video and you'll see what we mean ... in at least three instances, people are removing the "Black Friday Deals" signage -- which features one price -- and revealing the price tag that's covered up in the background. In the examples seen here, they're the same.

One girl hit a pallet with TVs, and the Black Friday mark-down has it pegged at $429. But when she removes the holiday price card, the regular card behind it has a matching number. In other words, she's suggesting there is no real deal at play here ... just new cardstock.

Another dude does something similar, but over in the clothes section ... where he peels back a sticker price for a pair of pants -- which then shows it's been upped in price from $25 to $30 ... so, the guy's implying Target's price-gouged to make it seem like folks are saving.

While most people are wise to this sorta thing -- companies tweaking prices and signage to capitalize on a holiday -- these young'ns apparently think they've uncovered Watergate! 😅

We've reached out to Target for comment on this -- but there isn't much to say besides ... welcome to capitalism, everyone. Now then, go buy more new stuff and be happy, dammit!

Margot Robbie says there probably ain't gonna be a 'Barbie' sequel -- 'cause she and the creative team put all their eggs into the OG basket ... and there isn't much else to say.

The actress was recently interviewed and got asked about the possibility of seeing her dressed in all pink again ... but from the sound of her response, she doesn't seem to have much hope that a 'Barbie 2' will be hitting theaters anytime in the near future.

MR says, "I think we put everything we had into this one. We didn't build it to be a trilogy or something. Greta put everything into this movie, so I can't imagine what would be next."

It's interesting that Margot isn't trying to feed speculation of a sequel -- which just about everyone assumed would get greenlit after how successful the first one did this year ... aka, hitting a billion-dollar box office. We're sure WB themselves thought it would happen too.

While she seems to be pouring cold water on the idea of another 'Barbie' flick -- at least with her in the starring role -- Margot did praise the idea of original IP films getting some love ... in a world where superhero movies are usually the big moneymakers for studios.

Some might be bummed to hear this would-be news ... but others are happy Margot and co. aren't falling into the usual Hollywood playbook of cranking out sequels for the hell of it.

We'll say this ... 'Barbie' was certainly a cultural "moment" this year, and we're not sure anything like that is gonna happen anytime soon -- for better or worse.

The guy who used to head up Diddy's security operation seems to be addressing at least one of Cassie's allegations of abuse -- this after being directly named in her bombshell suit.

Roger Bonds -- who worked for Diddy for years, and who's been pictured with both Diddy and Cassie at different events dating back at least a decade -- took to Instagram this weekend to speak out on Cassie's claims ... but he did so somewhat cryptically.

He writes, "This is not meant to be threats or snitching or anything like that against Cassie or Diddy or anyone else. this is me telling my truth as I truly remember it for 2 reasons only."

RB adds, "1st because I have 4 daughters so on all dudes my truth as I seen it, saw it and was involved with it for yrs." His accompanying caption to this since-deleted post -- which includes lots of shots with him and Cassie in public -- reads, "IM WILLING TO TELL MY TEUTH BECAUSE FOR SO MANY YRS I WAS QUIET , Nothing matters now but FAMILY."

Now, as far as what Bonds is actually referring to here ... well, it would appear to be a certain section of Cassie's lawsuit -- which, again, was settled and officially dismissed.

In her court docs, Cassie name-dropped Bonds as a witness to an alleged assault she says she suffered at the hands of Diddy in 2009 -- when she claims he beat her after learning she was talking to another music manager at a club in L.A. Cassie claimed Diddy was stomping on her in the car afterward, and alleges Bonds even tried to intervene to stop his boss.

Unclear if Bonds plans to say more beyond what he did in these IG posts of his ... on its face, it's a bit unclear what exactly he's even revealing (if anything) -- but it does seem like he's, perhaps, lending credence to this alleged anecdote Cassie detailed.

We've been trying to figure out when Bonds left Diddy's orbit and under what circumstances -- but at first glance, this isn't a great look for Puff ... who's already been sued for alleged sexual abuse twice more after Cassie's lawsuit. Basically, the fallout for him continues.

If President Biden thought he could escape the Israel-Palestine noise for the holiday weekend, he was wrong -- 'cause he was met with furious pro-Palestine protesters in New England, but didn't pay them any mind.

Joe was out and about with the rest of the First Family in Nantucket, MA Friday ... just a day after Thanksgiving, where he and the Biden gang were strolling around out in public -- with a crap ton of Secret Service agents all around.

There were some regular folks who stood by and said hi to POTUS ... but just across the street was a different reception to his presence -- namely, angry/rambunctious demonstrators.

Check out the video to see what exactly they were shouting from a distance -- it was a lot of the same stuff we've heard echoed in protests all over the country since this whole conflict kicked off anew ... claims of genocide, and calls to "Free Palestine."

These protests here in Nantucket seem to have dragged on well into the evening too ... but like we said, JB straight up ignored them and pretended like he didn't hear them at all.

Interestingly, Joe's catching heat from both sides right now -- not only are liberals on the left slamming him and his administration for being what they consider too easy on Israel amid their ground operation in Gaza ... but conservatives are pissed over the latest hostage news.

You might've heard ... about 25 hostages were released from Hamas control over the past 48 hours or so, but in that first batch -- none of those people were Americans, a handful of which were captured in the initial Oct. 7 terrorist attack.

There are reports of more hostages being released Saturday, but unclear if any of them are American at this point. And if they aren't, you can expect more outcry against Joe and co.

4:24 PM PT -- Hayley Burley -- the owner/manager of Shorts Bar & Grills -- tells TMZ ... there was one real troublemaker who started this mess, even though it looks like a free-for-all.

She adds, "Holidays are a really crazy busy time of year and we do everything we can to ensure that everyone has a fun and safe holiday. The man involved was taking swings at my customers. Unfortunately the video doesn't really depict my bartender who was trying to help get the situation under control is having his ankle twisted in the and asking for help. We never condone any type of violence and the police were called and responded immediately."

A security staffer who got dragged into a bar fight he was trying to break up just proves the old adage is true ... no good deed goes unpunished, and sometimes you gotta kick ass.

Check out this wild footage, obtained by TMZ, showing an absolute melee going down late Friday night/early Saturday morning at a joint called Shorts Bar & Grill out in Fairport, NY ... where we're told 4 dudes went at it right on the floor as the evening tipped into midnight.

As exciting as that was ... it was nothing compared to when one of the hired "Staff" security guards stepped in. At first, he was pulling people away and separating everyone -- that is, until someone on the outskirts apparently pushed him down to keep the chaos going.

That's certainly what it looks like, anyway ... and that's certainly how the bouncer took it -- 'cause the guy started wailing on the man whom he suspected of shoving/provoking.

Indeed ... the beatdown he dished out to this older fella is pretty brutal -- dropping elbows on him and socking away. Eventually, they let the guy get up and stumble his way out of the scene. He didn't really put up much of a fight, and it's unclear what happened after.

No word on whether cops were called to this brawl or not either ... and what's even weirder is that this seems to have been Buffalo Bills related (if the jersey'd fan is any indication).

We know the Bills Mafia can get rowdy, but weirdly enough ... their team doesn't even play until Monday. Never too early to let the fists fly, we suppose -- happy holidays, everyone!

Jenna Ortega apparently liked a post reporting on Melissa Barrera doubling down on her pro-Palestine stance amid her recent firing -- that is, if these screenshots are to be believed.

Here's the deal ... in the days since news broke that Jenna was also exiting the 'Scream' franchise -- this amid Melissa's tumultuous firing over her Palestine rhetoric -- there's been a lot of speculation that JO actually sides with her costar, but distanced herself publicly.

That hunch was only further fueled when fans noticed that Jenna recently seemed to like an IG post from an account documenting celeb activity on Palestine ... which recapped MB defending her position post-firing ... news to which Jenna supposedly hit the like button.

Of course, if you go to this same IG page now ... Jenna's alleged "like" is nowhere to be found, and her own Insta page is also *mostly* free of any Palestine content -- as is her Twitter account, which has been deactivated. Old alleged tweets of hers, though, have been circulating ... and people are claiming she used to post pro-Palestine sentiments as well.

In other words, if Jenna did in fact like this IG post ... it would appear she's quietly cosigning Melissa's stance ... something just about everyone assumed was the case seeing how quickly she bowed out of "Scream VII" upon Melissa's ousting -- despite reports suggesting JO leaving had nothing to do with MB, and was more so due to scheduling conflicts.

Frankly, nobody buys that ... and depending on where you land on this issue, you're either celebrating Jenna or slamming her. In any case, the 'Scream' franchise is kinda screwed now.

Fact is ... Jenna and Melissa (but mostly Jenna) were far and away the biggest stars of the rebooted movies, and the whole story arc revolves around them. With both of them gone, there's only Mason Gooding and Jasmin Savoy Brown left from the new OG cast.

They're cool and all, but they're mostly afterthoughts ... and their characters carrying on the saga doesn't really make sense without MB and JO. So, on paper, it would seem the "Scream 7" writers might have to go in a completely different direction with completely new actors, etc. Plus, fans are promising to boycott this latest sequel if/when it comes out ... so there's likely to be an uphill battle in drumming up interest/making the studio big bucks.

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith were back together and smiling for the camera this Thanksgiving -- although their public evidence differs in what may be a significant way.

The couple -- who've recently made clear they don't have a traditional relationship/marriage -- got the whole fam together for the holiday ... which included themselves, their kids and their parents, with everyone coming together under one roof for a neat pro photo shoot.

WS and JPS uploaded different shots on their respective Instagram pages, but it appears Will threw up way more than Jada did ... notably, some pretty loving shots between him and her.

As you can see, the pic where it's just him and Jada posing together features him planting a kiss on her head. Her version of that photo is a tad bit different, though ... she posted one where he's nuzzling/cradling her head and threw it up as part of a larger collage.

Obviously, this is reading into the tea leaves a bit ... but hey, considering everything that's been circulating about these two over the years -- it's worth analyzing this stuff.

On its face, it would appear Will wanted to present more of a happy couple/united front vibe with his photos, and Jada seemed content with keeping her IG upload focused more on the family at large ... which kinda jibes with how she's spoken about Will, especially lately.

Remember, Jada revealed last month that she and Will had been living separate lives for years and weren't romantically involved anymore -- while also going on to say she was shocked when Will referred to her as his "wife" when he slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars.

Her memoir revelations put renewed focus on their dynamic, which had already been under a microscope well before her book -- and that was multiplied with the latest salacious claim.

Despite all that drama -- and regardless of whether they're on the same page with their family photo uploads or not -- the Smiths appear to be enjoying each other for the holidays.

Tiffany Haddish had a busy Friday -- she was in a jail cell in the AM, and was back to joking in front of a crowd about 12 hours later ... but there was a big difference for night #2.

In any case, it's good to see she learned her lesson from earlier in the day -- when cops threw her in handcuffs and into the back of a police cruiser in Beverly Hills ... booking her on suspicion of DUI, this after they apparently found her asleep at the wheel while parked.

It marks Tiffany's second DUI in about a year -- remember, she'd been arrested for another DUI out in Georgia back in 2022 and is supposed to be going to trial soon to fight it.

Now, as for how this 2nd night at the Laugh Factory went in terms of laughs/crowd reception ... no word on that yet. We haven't been able to find any reviews of how good her set was, but considering LB is L.A.-adjacent -- ya gotta imagine she touched on the new DUI.

Like we said, the fact she was brave enough to get back up there after a legal setback like that is telling -- Tiff seems to see her gigs through and through, regardless of circumstance.

TH hasn't addressed the arrest publicly, but she might've vented to the audience last night. Time will tell if this latest DUI bust sticks or not ... CA's pretty strict on that kind of stuff.

Taylor Swift was back to herself during a Friday concert in Brazil after mourning the death of a fan just one week ago.

TS hit the stage to perform in front of a packed crowd in São Paulo last evening -- and she appeared to be in great spirits, wearing a glittering silver and blue bodysuit with matching knee-high boots.

The pop superstar was beaming as she pranced around the stage strumming her guitar -- and even stopped at one point to flex her arm muscles.

Taylor treated the audience to two surprise tunes -- "Now That We Don't Talk" from "1989 (Taylor's Version)" and "Innocent" from "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)." This marked Taylor's first of three nights of sold-out performances at Allianz Parque stadium in São Paulo.

The positive vibes stood in stark contrast to the dark atmosphere that hung over her Rio de Janeiro concert the previous Friday when one of her fans died.

Just before Taylor went on stage, Ana Clara Benevides Machado fell ill amid the city's oppressive heat and was rushed to a hospital, where she passed away. Brazilian authorities are looking into the cause of her death while investigating the organizers of the concert to determine if they committed any wrongdoing.

Infamous ex-cop Derek Chauvin -- who was convicted of murdering George Floyd in Minneapolis -- was stabbed in federal prison and rushed to a hospital, but his injuries were not considered life-threatening, TMZ has confirmed.

A rep for Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison tells TMZ ... Chauvin was listed in stable condition after he was assaulted Friday at the Federal Correctional Institution in Tucson, Arizona.

In a statement, Ellison said, "I am sad to hear that Derek Chauvin was the target of violence. He was duly convicted of his crimes and, like any incarcerated individual, he should be able to serve his sentence without fear of retaliation or violence."

Ellison prosecuted Chauvin in the state murder case after Floyd's 2020 death.

The Bureau of Prisons also issued a statement without naming Chauvin, saying an "incarcerated person" was attacked at the prison around 12:30 PM yesterday. It was unclear who the suspect was, but the Associated Press reported it was another inmate.

Prison staff responded and brought the situation under control while performing "life-saving measures" on the victim, the BOP said, adding that no employees were injured.

The victim was taken to the hospital, where doctors were treating and evaluating him.

As we previously reported, Chauvin was convicted of Floyd's slaying in a Minnesota state court and sentenced to more than 22 years in prison. He also pleaded guilty to a separate federal charge of violating Floyd's civil rights and was given a 20-year term, which he's currently serving at the Arizona prison.

The murder of Floyd was recorded on cell phone video, which was circulated around the world, shocking the public consciousness.

The disturbing nine-and-a-half-minute clip showed Chauvin pressing his knee against the neck of Floyd as he lay helpless on the ground in Minneapolis. Floyd repeatedly cried out that he couldn't breathe, but Chauvin refused to take away his knee until it was too late.

Susan Sarandon's son thanked his mom's supporters after her controversial Israel-Palestine speech, but one thing is really bugging him ... the darn video being shown of her breasts on social media.

Miles Robbins posted a message on X, addressing his issue with Susan's bosom overshadowing the message she's trying to send about the Israel-Hamas war. As you know, Hamas rules over the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Robbins said, “Ok I’m really grateful to see people on Twitter defending my mom amidst a new era of McCarthyist blacklisting but can you PLEASE stop using the clip of her getting her hair done with her honkers out.”

Carter tells us Ray and Howard wanted to create stock of their own after seeing other people selling clothing related to the riverboat brawl -- and using their likeness -- on sites like Etsy and Amazon.

Former USC Trojans defensive coordinator Alex Grinch is wasting no time getting out of town -- TMZ Sports has learned the coach is parting ways with his $4.45 million Palos Verdes pad just two weeks after getting fired.

Grinch's soon-to-be former home -- located in the Malaga Cove neighborhood -- has four bedrooms and four bathrooms, a gourmet chef's kitchen and a patio with an incredible ocean view.

The place was built in 1961 but was completely remodeled just last year ... with new hardwood floors, Dutch and French doors, a gas fireplace, stainless steel appliances and a custom beverage center.

The backyard is perfect for hosting gatherings ... with a ton of space for outdoor activities.

The pics of the home show some of Grinch's framed jerseys from his former coaching gigs with Washington State and Missouri ... but we take it those ain't coming with the sale.
