Tommie Lee shocked her closest friends when she showed up to court drunk ... they say she was in the process of getting sober before her recent relapse.

We broke the story ... the former 'Love & Hip Hop' star is back in jail for being wasted during a court hearing in her child abuse criminal case. We're told her BAC was 0.16 -- double the legal limit.

Sources close to Tommie tell TMZ ... she was trying her best to sober up in recent weeks, staying away from alcohol even though she was surrounded by vices. We're told Tommie was going out with friends who were drinking, and even stayed at a friend's house with a stocked bar inside, but she stayed off the booze.

But, Tommie fell off the wagon before last week's court appearance ... and our sources claim the stress of the case caused her relapse. She was indicted on child abuse charges earlier this year, and she's facing up to 54 years in jail if convicted on all 7 charges.

Jennifer Lawrence and Adele had a super fun night Friday in New York City ... hitting up a Greenwich Village gay bar and the crowd went crazy for them.

JLaw and her bud Adele hit up Pieces, and they got right in the thick of it, entertaining the crowd, jumping onstage, and participating in a drinking contest ... which Jennifer handily won.

The drag queen hosting the show asked Adele what she does for a living, and she answered, "Actually at the moment I'm a stay-at-home mum."

Adele didn't take well to losing the drinking contest, taking a hilarious shot at Jennifer, saying, "You're f***ing engaged. You're not even relevant to be here!" As you know, Jennifer's engaged to Cooke Maroney.

Cardi B is suing bloggers for making some outrageous claims -- including saying Cardi's a prostitute who has herpes.

Cardi filed the lawsuit against Tasha K -- who has a blog called unWinewithTashaK. She's pissed about 23 videos Tasha's posted over the last 14 months. According to the suit, Tasha posted a vid last April saying Cardi's baby might be born with intellectual disabilities. The inference seems to be Cardi was doing drugs that would harm then-unborn Kulture.

She's also suing Starmarie Ebony Jones, who, according to the suit, posted a video in September accusing Cardi of doing Molly and cocaine ... engaging in prostitution. Jones allegedly says of Cardi, "Just a Grammy nominated prostitute running around spreading her herpes."

Latasha and Starmarie even posted a video together making more allegations of STDs and hooking.

In the suit, Cardi says she's never been a prostitute or a user of cocaine and molly. She also denies having herpes now ... or ever.

5:29 PM PT -- Tommie just apologized for showing up to court drunk ... she says she needs help and is seeking treatment.

Tommie says, "I've been working really hard through my problems considering the challenges that's been set before me since I've been home. I've done all that I can do on my own to shake my habits but I do realize that I need help and I am currently seeking treatment."

Tommie Lee needs some serious help, because she's back in jail for being extremely drunk ... during a court appearance!

The former 'Love & Hip Hop' star showed up to court last week in Cobb County, GA for a hearing in her child abuse criminal case. Law enforcement sources tell us she appeared to be intoxicated -- so much so the judge ordered her to undergo drug and alcohol testing immediately.

Spoiler alert -- the new mug shot was also a dead giveaway -- but she failed. We're told Tommie's BAC was 0.16 ... twice the legal limit, and a violation of her bond. Tommie was arrested on the spot, and no bail's been set yet.

You'll recall ... Tommie was trying to get approval to move to Cali for work while she was out on bond, but a judge shot her down ... citing her long rap sheet as the reason. She's currently facing multiple charges of child abuse for her October 2018 arrest.

According to prosecutors, Tommie disrupted her daughter's class, slapped her hands and face, dragged her out by her hair and slammed her into a locker. She was indicted earlier this year, and faces up to 54 years in jail if convicted on all 7 charges.

As it stands, she might be behind bars until her trial starts. We've reached out to Tommie's attorney for comment ... so far, no word back.

Dallas Cowboys tight end Rico Gathers cut a deal in his weed possession case and won't face jail time ... TMZ Sports has learned.

The 25-year-old was arrested back in August in Frisco, Texas just after Cowboys' training camp ... when cops say they found him with less than 2 ounces of weed.

Gathers was charged with possession of marijuana ... but on Thursday, he struck a deal with prosecutors and will avoid time behind bars for the incident.

Court officials tell us Gathers had his charge reduced from a Class B misdemeanor to a Class C misdemeanor in exchange for a guilty plea.

Rico's punishment? He has to keep his nose clean for the next 90 days ... and, if he does, the conviction will be wiped off his record.

Rico also had to pay fines and court costs.

It's good news for the young tight end ... his role on the Cowboys is in limbo after Dallas brought back veteran Jason Witten this offseason.

UFC's Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson says it's "disappointing" his friend, T.J. Dillashaw, tested positive for a banned substance ... saying, "He doesn't seem like the type of guy who would do that."

Dillashaw has already relinquished the UFC bantamweight championship after officials say he failed a PED test following his January fight against Henry Cejudo.

And, while officials aren't identifying the substance they allegedly found in Dillashaw's system, Thompson says the situation is a reminder to fighters to be very careful what they put in their systems.

"I know T.J. We've hung out a lot. He doesn't seem like the type of guy who would do that," Thompson says.

"But, that goes to show man, you gotta check everything that you take."

It's obvious Thompson doesn't think Dillashaw intentionally cheated -- and says he hopes T.J. can "get this thing worked out."

For now, T.J. has been suspended 1 year by the New York State Athletic Commission. Dillashaw says he's conducting his own investigation to find out what went wrong.

Sansa Stark went FULL TYRION at the Rangers game on Tuesday -- grabbing a glass of wine and SLAMMING IT ... just because she was on the Jumbotron!!

Sophie Turner was sitting in the stands -- watching the Detroit Red Wings dominate New York -- when the house camera threw her up on the big screen for all of Madison Square Garden to see.

She dabbed. She smiled. She chugged.

The crowd went wild ... because, duh ... and Sophie threw a celebratory fist bump.

Unfortunately, the "Game of Thrones" star didn't exactly turn the tides for the Rangers ... they ended up losing the game 3-2.

"Ray Donovan" star Marion "Pooch" Hall will not do any jail time for his alarming DUI ... which ended with him wrecking his car while his baby was in the back seat.

Hall struck a deal with prosecutors -- he entered a no contest plea to misdemeanor DUI and to child endangerment. For the DUI his sentence is 3 years probation and a 3-month alcohol program.

TMZ broke the story ... Hall was charged with felony child abuse and DUI back in October after a witness saw him driving with his toddler in his lap and holding the steering wheel. He blew a .25 ... more than 3 times the legal limit.

He eventually swerved off and smashed into a parked car. One eyewitness said he saw the child crying in the front seat and saw the car seat laying among the junk in the backseat. The car seat was not installed.

Still, he won't do any time for the child endangerment. The deal calls for Hall to complete a one-year parenting class, and if he does ... the charge will be dismissed.

This didn't appear to be an isolated incident.

8:00 PM PT -- June's manager and WEtv -- which airs her reality show -- say, "We share our viewers' concerns for [Mama June] and her entire family. We are monitoring events as they occur and are focused, as always, on the entire family's well-being."

Mama June's mug shot just surfaced from last week's arrest for crack cocaine ... and it's clear to see, she was anything but impressed.

TMZ broke the story ... Mama June and her boyfriend, Geno Doak, were both arrested last Wednesday after a reported domestic incident at an Alabama gas station. When police investigated, they say they discovered controlled substances on both of them, including drug paraphernalia.

Cops say Mama June was in possession of crack cocaine and a glass pipe, she also had $1300 cash in her bra ... and Geno -- who was also arrested for domestic violence/harassment -- had a needle in his pocket.

As we first told you ... the reality TV star was feeling lucky days after her arrest, strolling into an Alabama casino early Saturday morning and hitting up the slots.

Geno was there too -- watching as Mama June tried to hit the jackpot -- which could be a big problem considering court docs stated he had to stay away from her following the arrest.

Mama June's family is pissed at Geno ... they're blaming him for the crack arrest and June's downward spiral. They've been together for 3 years, and Geno has a long rap sheet including arrests for theft, burglary and property damage.

Wendy Williams just made a very personal revelation -- she's now getting round-the-clock help to deal with addiction issues.

She made a very emotional announcement Tuesday on her talk show ... revealing she's currently living in a sober house somewhere in the Tri-State Area -- of NY, NJ & CT -- and has been for some time now. Wendy teared up quite a bit as her audience listened intently.

Wendy talked about battling cocaine addiction in the past, but never sought treatment to stay clean ... until now, that is. She didn't specifically say what substance she's addicted to now. Wendy added she has a 24-hour sobriety coach, and spoke lovingly about the "brothers and sisters" in addiction with whom she's living now.

Paris Jackson is being encouraged by people very close to her to go to rehab, but she's resisting.

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... those close to Paris suggested rehab after what law enforcement says was a suicide attempt over the weekend, landing her in the hospital. We're told the attempted suicide shows some serious underlying problems ... they say Paris is dealing with all sorts of emotional issues as well as substance abuse issues.

Our sources say Paris' team had help ready to spring into action Sunday, but she refused.

TMZ broke the story ... Paris slit her wrists and was rushed to a hospital early Saturday morning, where she was placed on a temporary 5150 hold. We're told she's been distraught ever since "Leaving Neverland" began airing.

As to why Paris was released just hours after she was hospitalized, our sources say she told the hospital that had admitted her that her lawyers were taking her to UCLA Medical Center, and the hospital let her go with the attorneys, but she never ended up at UCLA.

Paris is almost 21 -- she's an adult, and therefore the decision to check into rehab is hers and hers alone.

11:01 AM PT -- According to legal docs -- obtained by TMZ -- Geno allegedly threatened to kill June during a domestic dispute. Cops say when they arrived on scene, Geno was placed under arrest and admitted to having a needle on him ... June told cops the SUV the two were sitting in belonged to her, and she'd take all blame for whatever was inside.

After a search, cops discovered another needle, a white powdery substance -- which June allegedly said was crack cocaine -- and a pipe. June also had $1,340 in her bra.

Geno was ordered by the court to stay away from June after the incident ... an order that was seemingly ignored when the two hit up a casino together Saturday.

Mama June is headed down a rough path, and there's no one else to blame but her boyfriend, Geno Doak ... so say members of her family.

Sources connected to Mama June's brood tell TMZ ... her family is laying guilt over the reality star's recent arrest squarely at Geno's feet, as they feel he's been an awful influence on June since they started dating around 3 years ago.

We're told June's family believes Geno's criminal history speaks for itself, and it's no coincidence she got into trouble while in his company. He does have quite the rap sheet -- Geno's been arrested for burglary, theft and damage to property. He's also done jail time.

Interestingly enough, Mama June was spotted hanging with Geno at a casino a few days after her arrest ... hitting a slot machine with her BF right by her side. It certainly appears her family's concerns are falling on deaf ears.

That doesn't change how the family feels though. Our sources say Mama June's fam thinks she'll continue putting herself at risk as long as she's with him. Not only that, but they feel that her daughter, Alana (aka Honey Boo Boo, who's only 13) is in an unsafe environment.

TMZ Sports has obtained video of Barry Cofield's DUI arrest ... and the scene is intense -- with cops drawing their guns and demanding the ex-Giants DL to get out of the car.

"Get out of the car!" one officer screams ... "Get out of the car now! Get out of the car! Get out of the car or we'll shoot! Get out of the car now!"

It all went down last July when the former Super Bowl champion allegedly led cops on a wild police chase after they found him asleep at the wheel of his Cadillac Escalade around 2:40 AM.

You can see in the video the conclusion of the chase ... where cops are so concerned with the way the 6'4", 250-pounder was driving -- they pulled out their guns and surrounded the car.

Cofield doesn't comply ... so cops attempt to physically break him out of the vehicle by beating in his window, with one officer yelling, "Get him out of that car!"

Cofield eventually opens the door as cops are smashing in the window ... and he's taken to the ground without incident.

When cops search the former defensive lineman ... they find a wad of cash and a small baggie of what they later say was heroin.

Cofield was hit with several severe charges from the altercation, including heroin possession, assaulting an officer, DUI, resisting arrest and fleeing from police.

But, Barry was able to get a great deal from prosecutors last week ... and after pleading no contest to just heroin possession and DUI causing damage or injury -- he likely won't spend any time behind bars.

Cofield was a key piece for the Giants' D-line from 2006 through 2010 ... ultimately helping Eli Manning and NY beat the undefeated Patriots in Super Bowl XLII.

Golf's a gentlemen's game, so it's no surprise "Southern Charm" star Shep Rose got his ass ejected from a VIP tent when he started actin' the fool.

We're told Shep hit up The Players Championship Friday at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL ... where he had an incredible view of the 17th hole from inside the Dye Pavilion VIP tent.

Witnesses at the event tell us Shep drank a little too much booze ... becoming belligerent and pestering guests. He also got up and started dancing ... blocking people's view.

We're told a woman working the event asked Shep to leave but he refused. That's when St. John's County Sheriff's deputies stepped in. A spokesperson tells us the deputies working the event escorted Shep outta the tent without incident. He was not arrested and removed from the tent but not from the event.

Lucky guy ... The Players Championship arguably has the best class of golfers from top to bottom, so lots of great golf to watch.

Mama June's drug arrest was more serious than we knew, because cops say she admitted the white powder they found was crack cocaine, and she was also caught with a needle and a pipe.

TMZ broke the story ... Mama June and her boyfriend, Geno Doak, were arrested at an Alabama gas station on Wednesday after someone called to report a domestic incident between the two. Cops busted her for felony possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Doak was also arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, in addition to domestic violence/harassment.

According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, after arriving at the gas station cops were about to pat down Doak when he told them not to reach inside his pocket and said, "I don't want you to get sticked or nothing." Cops found a needle and then set their sights on Mama June.

She said she was the owner of the vehicle and claimed ownership of everything inside. Cops found a needle on the driver's floorboard. Police then patted June down and found a glass pipe with white residue inside the pocket of her jogging suit. They also found a green pill bottle containing a white controlled substance in the glove compartment. June said the white substance was crack cocaine.

Snoop Dogg's claim that David Irving was "not smart" to quit the NFL in a pot-smoking blaze of glory is just "ignorant" ... so says Irving, who now has a message for the rap legend.

Snoop went after Irving during a conversation with Stephen A. Smith -- essentially saying waging a pot war with the NFL is unwinnable and stupid.

Long story short ... Snoop says Irving blew up a golden opportunity to make millions of dollars all because he wanted to smoke weed. And, this is SNOOP saying this.

Well, Irving says he respects Snoop ... but tells TMZ Sports the rapper is just wrong in this case.

Irving says Snoop made uninformed assumptions about why he stepped away from the game -- and he's now inviting the rapper to have a 1-on-1 conversation to talk things out.

The 25-year-old's point is that it's not about getting high ... it's about finding safer ways to treat pain -- and if anyone should be sympathetic, it's Snoop.

"I'm pretty sure if I could've met with Snoop and let him know exactly what I'm doing, the businesses I've set up and the things I'm doing, I'm pretty sure he would say different."
