Nas had the beat, the crowd and the stage, but one critical thing was missing -- at least for a good portion of his performance -- and still, he never skipped a beat.

The legendary rapper suffered a technical difficulty Wednesday night at Barclays Center in Brooklyn during his performance with Mary J. Blige. The duo was performing her track, "Love Is All We Need" featuring Nas, who, BTW, was rocking a Louis Vuitton Monogram Admiral Jacket.

It's a pricey piece of leather ... a cool $6,550. Those pockets tho!!!

Anyway ... the music was poppin' and Mary was dancing. But, as Nas begins, there's an audible silence. For a good 30 seconds you can see Nas rapping but can't hear him. Finally, he's like, "what the hell?!"

Someone in the crowd even yelled about the dead mic. Just as Nas realized the issue, his sound finally came back to life.

Blac Chyna might have ruffled a few feathers with her wardrobe choice at the MTV VMAs ... because Kylie Jenner just wore it a couple weeks ago.

Chyna opted for a hot pink feathered mini dress for the awards show Monday night, which would normally be no biggie ... except for the fact Kylie rocked the exact same dress during her 22nd birthday trip.

Yung Miami is making sure her City Girls counterpart JT gets some love when she leaves prison ... because JT's gonna score some custom diamond jewelry!!!

We're told Yung Miami plunked down some serious cash for JT in the form of a pendant and chain to match her own City Girls bling ...  $52,000 to be exact.

We're told Yung Miami hit up Jewelry Unlimited about a month ago, and the bling took two weeks to fully craft. As you see, the pendant and chain sparkle with baguette and VS+ diamonds set in yellow gold.

The only difference from Yung Miami's matching bling ... hers is rose gold.

JT has been locked up at the Miami Federal Detention Center since June 2018, after turning herself in to authorities on fraud charges. We're told she's getting released in the next few weeks.

Gotta hand it to Yung Miami ... she knows how to welcome a girl back from the inside.

Kylie Jenner ruffled some feathers making people think she was getting married on her birthday trip -- but now, the cat dress is out of the bag ... and it's clear there's no wedding.

The mystery "wedding dress" that was seen being loaded onto Kylie's jet last week made its full debut Saturday on Kylie's Instagram story, where she revealed it was merely a birthday outfit (her 10th so far, apparently). It's a flowing, feathery white gown, nothing more.

Kylie filmed herself getting done up in the dress, and then posted another clip of her running down a hallway in it -- seems like she can move that thing!!!

On the way up to the upper deck of her multi-million dollar yacht, she showed off the garment in all its glory. It's easy to see why some folks thought it actually was a wedding dress -- it's got a train, and looks a lot like something a bride might wear.

As we first told you ... Kylie ain't getting hitched on this trip -- despite the possibly well-planted red herring. Two of her older sisters -- Kim and Khloe -- aren't expected to attend ... and it was suggested to us they wouldn't miss Kylie and Travis' nuptials.

Courtney Stodden is paying tribute to one of her heroes, Marilyn Monroe, with a pilgrimage to the late Hollywood icon's final resting site ... and she was decked out as MM.

The reality TV star was seen Monday heading to Marilyn's crypt at the Westwood Village Memorial Park in L.A. -- where she shares a wall with some very famous people, including Hugh Hefner. The area surrounding Marilyn's crypt was laced with flowers.

As for Courtney, she wore an extra-wide brim hat for the occasion, which was clearly a callback to one of Marilyn's many looks through the years.

Marilyn rocked a similar hat in her 1957 movie "The Prince and the Showgirl" -- and considering how much Courtney admires her, we wouldn't be surprised if this is a nod.

What's interesting is that Courtney seems to do this semi-frequently -- she also paid a visit to Marilyn's crypt in 2016 and left a letter at the time that read in part, "If I could bring you back for just one day, I'd tell you how much you're missed."

She wore a very Marilyn-esque gown for that visit as well.

The cemetery is an L.A. landmark, and Marilyn's crypt is the undisputed highlight. Others who made the cemetery their final resting place include Farrah Fawcett, Dean Martin, Armand Hammer, Natalie Wood, Rodney Dangerfield, Donna Reed, Don Knotts and on and on.

Marilyn's ex-husband, Joe DiMaggio, arranged for flowers to be left at her crypt twice a week over the course of two decades. Seems the tradition has continued.

Marilyn would've been 93 years old if she were alive today. She died of an overdose on Aug. 5, 1962 -- and although it was ruled a probable suicide, many suspected foul play due to her affair with JFK, who was assassinated the following year.

A$AP Bari just took another big L stemming from his sexual assault case ... because the judge tossed his countersuit against his victim.

According to new legal docs ... the rapper's defamation suit against the woman, listed as Jane Doe, and all claims he made against her have been dismissed.

The reason it was tossed is because the woman filed a police report and a lawsuit, and the judge ruled both are protected speech ... so Bari can't sue her over what she told cops or claimed in a suit.

As we reported ... Bari pled guilty to sexually assaulting the woman in a London hotel in 2017. As part of his plea deal, he was ordered to pay a $5k fine and pay the victim $3,150 ... but he avoided jail time.

In leaked video of the incident, Bari's seen chasing the woman around the room and ordering her to give him oral sex.

While his plea deal concluded the criminal case, the civil case is still ongoing. Doe sued the hip-hop designer for sexual assault in late 2017, and he countersued in August 2018 claiming she was a liar and trying to extort him for a big payday.
