Andrea Bocelli Solo Concert for Hope from Milan

Published | Updated
UPDATE

11:04 AM PT -- The man never disappoints ... Bocelli peformed for about 30 minutes, and the highlights included "Ava Maria" and "Amazing Grace." The blind tenor performed the latter after walking without a guide the doors of il Duomo to a microphone set up outside.

UPDATE

Chills.

Andrea Bocelli is hoping his powerful voice can lift spirits around the world amid the coronavirus pandemic -- and he's performing live from hard-hit Italy.

The world-renowned singer is in il Duomo di Milano -- that city's iconic cathedral -- for a concert that will be livestreamed. You can see it here, starting at 10 AM PT.

The Easter event, dubbed "Music for Hope," comes as the country around Bocelli is still reeling from an astounding number of COVID-19 cases. Italy and the United States have each suffered more than 20,000 deaths during the pandemic.

Bocelli will be accompanied by pianist Emanuele Vianelli -- but Bocelli says he's not viewing this is a typical performance. It's clearly more spiritual to him. As Bocelli put it, "It will not be an actual concert, but an occasion to pray together through music.”

He added, "It will be a sacred singing, because as we are taught, ‘those who sing pray twice’. It will be an invitation for everyone to join in the prayer."

Amen to that, brother.

Christina Grimmie Her Voice Lives on in BF's New Single

Published | Updated

The boyfriend of former 'Voice' star Christina Grimmie -- who was shot and killed nearly 4 years ago -- is keeping her memory alive with a new song featuring her.

Stephen Rezza just dropped "Hard Mode" ... and we're told he got her family's okay to sample Christina for the track. Best of all for Christina's fans -- this is just the first of many new songs with her angelic voice.

Rezza's dropping a full album of his orchestral pop later this year, which is titled, "Songs for Christina." That's appropriate because every single track on it will feature either her vocals, her old music, or even voicemails from her.

It's a touching tribute to Christina. As we reported, back in June 2016, the singer -- who'd already appeared on "The Voice" -- was doing a meet and greet with fans in Orlando when a deranged man walked up and opened fire. He then shot and killed himself. Christina was only 22.

After her death, Stephen helped produced her posthumous album "All Is Vanity," which dropped in 2017. He then started working on "Songs for Christina" ... but that stopped when he suffered a seizure in 2019. Turns out he had an avocado-sized brain tumor. Surgeons successfully removed 95% of the mass.

Once he recovered, we're told Stephen had a new perspective and was determined to finish the album.

Stephen tells TMZ, "I almost never put these songs out. They're so personal I didn't think the world wanted to hear them. Next thing I knew I was on an operating table wide awake, skull open while my brain's being worked on. I almost lost everything. If I had died or lost the ability to make music, the only thing I would've truly regretted would've been never finishing this album for her."

BTW, Stephen's "Hard Mode" is now available on streaming services. It's about persevering when God flips the switch, and it's the only song on the album written after his operation.

Helluva way to persevere.

Enrique Iglesias Dances w/ 2-Month-Old Daughter ... Ridiculous Cuteness

Published

Enrique Iglesias is introducing his newborn to the world yet again, only this time she's wide-eyed and wide awake ... plus, adorable as hell bouncing around on Dad's lap.

The Latin singer posted a sweet video, showing off his 2-month-old daughter, Mary, to the world via Instagram ... while also sharing a song and dance with his kid. Check out the video -- EI has fun.'s "We Were Young" playing in the background, as he moves Mary's arms around to the beat. The kid sure seemed to dig it ... she cooed at one point.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

This is Enrique's third child with Anna Kournikova, who they brought into the world this past January, which the couple was happy to share photos of at the time. Mary (who also goes by Masha with her folks) looked like any newborn does ... now, she's got distinct features.

Enrique and Anna already share twins together, whom they've shown off as well ... but were somewhat private about at first. Ditto for Mary here ... until now. Hey there, cutie!

Tekashi 6ix9ine Post-Release Already Trolling ... Garcetti Wants Snitches? I'm Here!!!

Published | Updated

Tekashi 6ix9ine is back to his trolling ways since getting out of prison -- his first order of business ... letting L.A.'s Mayor know he's down to rat out quarantine breakers.

The rapper just commented on an IG post by TSR, which captured a photo/headline of Mayor Eric Garcetti telling Los Angelenos he would be willing to offer "rewards" to folks who snitch on businesses and others blatantly breaking the city-wide, stay-at-home order.

Tekashi's official two cents ... "Coming to the rescue." Short and sweet, but it speaks volumes (somewhat hilariously) for a number of reasons.

For starters, this appears to be 6ix9ine's first social media interaction that we've seen from his official account in a long time -- since November 2018, in fact, when he first got locked up on racketeering charges -- so it's noteworthy in that sense. Out of prison, back online.

Also, it's funny Tekashi's commenting on a timely topic -- namely, the coronavirus chaos happening all around us -- while also touching on something he knows all too well ... singing like a canary. Granted he's in NYC, not L.A. ... but it's the thought that counts.

Of course, if Tekashi was on the West Coast ... there'd be plenty of snitching he could do for Garcetti, as people continue to flock to public spaces and disregard social distancing -- like in Hermosa Beach this weekend, where people were out and about along trails there.

If his music career doesn't take off again like he'd planned, maybe the dude's got a career in comedy. He's got us chuckling 😅
