Dick Trickle sounded extremely calm for a man planning to kill himself when he called 911 yesterday and told the operator, "There's going to be dead body ... suicide."
TMZ has obtained the 911 call made by the NASCAR driver moments before he shot himself. In the call, Trickle gave the dispatcher very detailed instructions about where to find the body at Forest Lawn Cemetery in North Carolina.
When the dispatcher asked Trickle if he was calling about someone else, Trickle replied, "No, I'm the one."
The operator begged Trickle to wait for help ... but her pleas went unanswered.
When emergency personnel arrived at the scene, Trickle's body was discovered right where he said it would be.
Officials say Trickle died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
TMZ has obtained the 911 call placed moments after Kris Kross rapper Chris Kelly's unresponsive body was found Wednesday at his Georgia home.
The caller appears to be Chris' mother, but it's not entirely clear.
During the 911 call, the caller tells the dispatcher that Chris is not breathing. The dispatcher then walks her through instructions on how to resuscitate him.
As we reported, police claim Kelly's mother told them her son had taken a combination of heroin and cocaine the day before he died and that he had an "extensive history of drug use." Kelly was 34.
Clay Aiken's alleged stalker really wanted to get a good look inside the singer's house ... because according to the 911 call, the woman was armed with binoculars when she hopped his fence.
TMZ broke the story ... 57-year-old Barbara Saylor was arrested outside Clay's North Carolina house April 3rd after allegedly hopping his fence and then peering inside his front window. Clay was home.
It wasn't apparent just how bizarre the incident was ... until now. Check out the 911 tape.
Babs was eventually arrested for stalking and trespassing. She's due in court April 24.
The Sharon Osbourne 911 tape -- where she desperately calls a dispatcher asking for help after a candle at her home lit a table on fire -- may be a clue to the marital strife that led to their split.
We've re-listened to the tape -- recorded January 17 at 4:45 AM -- and you hear Ozzy at the beginning, sounding somewhat incoherent. It's possible Ozzy was no different than normal, but we now know he's only been sober for around 45 days after 1 1/2 years of abusing drugs and alcohol, so that would mean he was using at the time of the 911 call.
NOTE: Poll results are not scientific and reflect the opinions of only those users who chose to participate. Poll results are not reflected in real time.
So here's what we have. Someone lit a candle and then carelessly let it burn. Ozzy was off the wagon. It was 4:45 AM. Sharon sounds like she's the one who was blindsided.
On the other hand ... Sharon told TMZ shortly after the incident that SHE was responsible.
Was it Sharon's fault or was she covering up for Ozzy?
The elderly couple tied up at gunpoint by a rampaging, cop-killing Christopher Dorner waited nearly 20 minutes for cops to arrive to their Big Bear cabin after calling 911 -- despite the fact they were across from the cops' weekend command center.
During the Feb. 12 call, Karen and Jim Reynolds positively ID'd Dorner as the man who tied them up ... giving the first real clue to the maniac's location in the midst of a nationwide manhunt.
Karen was still tied up when she managed to use a cell phone just minutes after Dorner split in the couple's SUV. She was uncannily calm ... at first ... especially given that the rampaging disgruntled ex-cop had just threatened them with a rifle, bound their hands, gagged them, put pillowcases on their heads and jacked their car.
But she starts to crack just five minutes in: "Are you sure someone's coming here?" she asks the dispatcher.
"I'm sure someone's going -- we have several units going out there ma'am," the dispatcher says, apologetically.
A few minutes later, Karen Reynolds seems irritated when she mentions that they are "right across from where the command center was all weekend."
Their ordeal goes on and on ... and on ... including a moment when Karen, still bound, falls to the ground and cries out in pain.
Dorner ultimately met his fate later that day ... when he shot himself in the head during a fiery shootout with cops at a nearby cabin.
TMZ has obtained the 911 call placed by Ric Flair ... moments after the wrestling legend discovered his son Reid Flair unresponsive in a Charlotte, NC hotel room.
Ric frantically tells the operator, "He's out cold! He's out cold and he's purple!"
As we reported, Ric's 25-year-old son Reid -- who had just returned to the U.S. after wrestling in Japan -- passed away on March 29th.
The investigation into Reid's death is ongoing, but he has struggled with substance abuse issues in the past.
TMZ has obtained the 911 call placed by "Breaking Bad" star Bryan Cranston ... moments after a thief broke into his car and stole a script from the upcoming season.
In the call, Bryan tells the dispatcher, "I need to report a breaking and entering into my vehicle." He says the thief smashed the passenger side window of his Audi and grabbed a bunch of stuff, including the script.
As we reported, the theft happened earlier this month in New Mexico ... the thief also took Bryan's iPad.
Cops confirm a man by the name of Xavier McAfee was arrested over the weekend for the burglary, but the script has not been recovered.
As for Bryan's window, a source at the Audi dealership that repaired it tells us it cost $600 to fix.
TMZ has just obtained the 911 call that was placed by a breathless man who repeatedly pleaded for help after Ashley Greene's apartment exploded in flames, screaming, "The building's on fire."
As we first reported, Ashley and two men were sleeping in her rental unit when the fire broke out. Officials now say the cause of the fire was an unattended candle that torched the couch and subsequently the entire place.
One of Ashley's dogs perished in the blaze. Her second dog was saved.
TMZ has obtained the 911 calls placed moments after Hollywood legend Ed Asner got seriously ill during a performance in Indiana Tuesday.
On one call ... the dispatcher says Asner was "sweating profusely" after getting sick during his one-man play "FDR."
Ed was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
The exact nature of the emergency is still unclear -- but as we reported, Ed's son says the actor has been feeling under the weather for a few weeks ... but is now doing fine.
Chris Brown calls himself "Christopher" when he's scared ... at least judging by the 911 call that was placed moments after the singer totaled his Porsche in a paparazzi chase last month.
Minutes after the February 9 crash, a witness called 911 ... and told the operator Brown's car had smashed into a wall in an alley in Beverly Hills.
The operator asked to speak with Brown (who identified himself as "Christopher") ... and the singer explained how the paparazzi had been chasing him in another vehicle ... and dangerously cut him off.
Brown says the paparazzi "blocked me off and stopped so I had to swerve" ... causing him to lose control and crash.
Brown says he was not injured in the accident ... but claims the paparazzi responsible for the incident fled the scene before emergency responders arrived.
As for the police investigation into the accident -- law enforcement tells us, it's case closed ... cops couldn't prove the paps were involved.
