Pedro Pascal Takes Hilarious Jab At Kieran Culkin At Emmy Awards ... He Beat The S@$t Out Of Me!!!

Published | Updated

Pedro Pascal kept his funny feud going with Kieran Culkin at Monday's Emmy Awards, hilariously accusing the actor of beating "the s**t out of me."

"The Last of Us" star strolled out onstage with his arm in a sling at the 75th annual event to present the award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series to "Succession" star Matthew Macfadyen. What happened next was all caught on video.

Standing at a microphone, Pascal told the star-studded audience in L.A.'s Peacock Theater, "Everyone’s been asking about my arm, but it’s actually my shoulder. And I think it’s time to let everyone know that Kieran Culkin beat the s— out of me.”

The whole crowd burst out in laughter, except Culkin, who sat with a serious look, while shooting a hard stare at Pascal. But, Culkin couldn't keep a straight face for very long and soon began chuckling with the other people, as the video cuts off.

Earlier this month, the two actors launched their light-hearted squabble at the Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.

While accepting the trophy for "Best Actor In A Drama Series" for HBO's Succession, Culkin took a playful jab at Pascal, telling him to "suck it." Pascal had been nominated in the same category for his role in another popular HBO series, "The Last of Us."

By the way, Pascal told the Associated Press at the Golden Globes that he injured his arm during a fall.

The ball's now back in Culkin's court. Let's see what Kieran does with it.

A Big Loss

Kate wrote, "I have no words yet. Thank you@katebeckinsale_slovakia2 for making this beautiful thing. I fought for you everything I had. Oh Roy I am so sorry I lost."

The video slide show featured Roy through the years with Kate and her mom, Judy. In 1997, Judy married Roy after Kate's dad, actor Richard Beckinsale, died from natural causes.

Last month, Roy was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital after he suffered a stroke while reportedly fighting two unspecified types of cancer, with which he was diagnosed in 2023.

Like Kate, Roy made a living in the visual arts, directing popular British TV shows, documentaries and films.

Roy was 87.

Christina Applegate Standing Ovation At Emmys ... Jokes About Shaming MS

Published | Updated

"Don't shame me"

Christina Applegate got folks out of their seats at the Emmys ... and it's all because of her courage.

The "Dead to Me" star, who is dealing with her multiple sclerosis diagnosis, came out to a standing ovation as she presented the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.

Christina used a cane to get to the stage as the crowd rose to its feet and applauded.

Ya gotta see the video ... she got emotional about the reception she was getting, and cracked a joke, saying ... "You're totally shaming me with disability by standing up."

Remember, Christina revealed her multiple sclerosis diagnosis back in 2021, referring to it as a "strange journey."

It's great to see her involved at the Emmys ... when she was up for a SAG award last year she said it would likely be her last award show as an actress because of MS.

At that award show she used a cane with a powerful message on it ... "F U MS." While her cane Monday night wasn't fitted with any such note, Christina's presence onstage said plenty.

If her acting career is over, as Christina's predicted, she could certainly still do award show presenting --- she had the Emmys crowd wrapped around her finger.

We covered it all on the latest episode of The TMZ Podcast, available on all podcast platforms.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard Wave of Hate from Nick Supporters ... She Feels It's Unfair!!!

Published | Updated

Gypsy Rose Blanchard is getting bombarded with criticism from Nick Godejohn supporters -- it's been going on since she got out of prison, but Gypsy feels the haters aren't giving her a fair shake.

Sources close to Gypsy Rose tell TMZ ... she's been inundated with folks expressing negative feelings toward her, because she's now free -- whereas Nick's serving a life sentence for murdering her mother Dee Dee.

We're told that fact of Gypsy's situation is one over which she feels a lot of guilt to this day.

Still, our sources say Gypsy feels it's not right she's being branded a murderer by some of these overzealous Nick fans ... and the reason for that is because she didn't actually carry out the act of taking her mother's life. Remember, Nick was the one who stabbed Dee Dee, and Gypsy was convicted of second-degree murder -- basically, for masterminding the slaying.

With that in mind, Gypsy also thinks it's strange Nick is getting sympathy from folks who want to see him freed. We're told she believes he enjoyed stabbing her mother 17 times, so the fact he's got a group of backers is sorta ass-backwards.

Remember ... Nick got life in prison without possibility of parole after his conviction for first-degree murder. Gypsy got a 10-year sentence, but was released on parole last month, after more than 8 years of incarceration.

Our sources tell us Gypsy feels like she tried to help Nick in his 2018 trial by testifying she came up with the plan to kill Dee Dee, because it was the only way she could escape her mother's abuse. She feels her testimony was the right thing to do to clear her conscience, and we're told doing so helped her forgive herself.

Now, we're told Gypsy has NO feelings towards Nick ... she doesn't want to communicate with him and she's trying to leave their past behind and move forward with her new life.

Our sources say Gypsy doesn't hate Nick, but she doesn't love him or feel sad for him either -- she just doesn't feel anything for him ... good or bad.

Some of the same folks attacking Gypsy online say Nick should be freed too ... but we're told she feels his punishment fits the crime. Our sources say Nick told Gypsy in text messages, before Dee Dee's murder, he was going to enjoy killing her mom ... and Gypsy feels her ex is a danger to society who needs extreme mental health care while behind bars.

Bottom line ... she's done her time, and Gypsy doesn't understand the continued criticism.

Bill Goldberg Son Committed To Deion's CU Team ... After Saban Retired

Published | Updated

Bill Goldberg's son Gage was this close to playing for the Crimson Tide ... but the high school football player tells TMZ Sports he changed his mind once Nick Saban retired!

Cue Gage's WWE legend dad, who called Deion Sanders -- his former teammate with the Falcons in the early 90s -- and next thing ya know, Goldberg's on his way to Colorado!

Gage, a 205-pound middle linebacker out of Boerne Champion High School in Texas, spoke with us days after he announced he'd be playing for the NFL Hall of Famer as a preferred walk-on with the Univerisity of Colorado.

GG revealed his commitment came down to the wire ... as he was very close to committing to Alabama until Saban unexpectedly retired last week.

"My top schools were Alabama, Duke, UCF, NC State. Those were my four," the 17-year-old said.

"Then [dad] reached out to Deion and then the coach called him. The opportunity came up for a [Preferred Walk-On] at Colorado and I committed on that."

It's a significant change for the Goldberg family. In fact, Bill was already looking at property in Tuscaloosa.

But, things have changed, and despite Goldberg having wanted his son to play for Saban (arguably the greatest CFB coach ever), he's happy he'll be coached by Prime.

"Deion and I are great friends. I love the man like he's my brother," Bill said.

"It's just a huge decision. It's not based on who's got the coolest uniforms. It's based on who's gonna take care of you the most and where you have the best opportunity, both on and off the field."

Bill added, "I'm gonna continue to sing his praises but after I speak so highly of this person, why would I not want this person to be the head coach of my son?"

TMZ TV Recap Lohan's 'Mean Girls' Fire Crotch' Tay/Travis & Goff/Fiancée!!!

Published | Updated

Great start to the week at TMZ -- we hit the ground running with some fiery topics touching on everything from Taylor Swift to Lindsay Lohan ... and you can catch up right now!

Right off the bat, we dove into the subject of T-Swift and the possibility of her getting engaged to Travis Kelce -- something that's been floated as a very realistic possibility by others in recent days ... but which we're hearing probably won't happen anytime soon.

On 'TMZ Live' ... we brought on a special guest to discuss exactly that, talking to a Forbes reporter who knows all things Taylor Swift ... and who dished his thoughts on why he thinks she can actually have it all, assuming she does settle down (for real) in the near future.

It made for a fascinating convo ... and Swifities just might wanna hear our take on it.

Jumping over to 'TMZ on TV' ... we actually chatted about something we haven't discussed since the mid-2000s -- namely, the infamous LiLo "fire crotch" moment we got on video.

If you don't recall ... she got made fun of pretty nastily by one of Paris Hilton's friends at the time -- and now, Tina Fey thought it'd be good to drop in this old classic into her new 'Mean Girls' reboot ... which, BTW, has a Lindsay cameo in it! Safe to say, LL wasn't happy.

DELIGHT IN DETROIT

Last but not least, 'TMZ Sports' ... where Michael Babcock and Mojo chopped it up after the first week of NFL playoffs -- including Jared Goff's big win -- on and off the field.

Take a gander at his model fiancée that he smooched upon the Lions' victory ... smokin'!

Green Day Band Stands By MAGA Lyric Switch ... America's Stupider Today!!!

Published | Updated
011524_billie_joe_armstrong_kal JANUARY 2024
cry more, maga!!!

Green Day changed their lyrics during a New Year's Eve performance to target the MAGA crowd -- and if they were mad at them then ... they'll be extra pissed after this interview.

We got the main band members heading into LAX Monday, and you bet your ass we asked them about their lyrical switch-up on "American Idiot" 2 weeks ago during their Dick Clark 'New Year’s Rockin’ Eve' gig ... which saw them change the word "redneck" for "MAGA."

Basically, Billie sang ... "I'm not part of a MAGA agenda" instead of the OG line, and it triggered the hell out of Trump supporters, who were dragging the GD crew online.

Now, all these days later ... we asked the boys about it, including Billie Joe Armstrong -- who says it was par for the course for the MAGA people ... likening it all to pearl clutching. When we asked if BJA had a message for all the people he pissed off ... he blew 'em a kiss.

Same vibe from Green Day's longtime bassist Mike Dirnt and OG drummer Tré Cool -- who basically echoed Billie, saying they did what they did ... and have no regrets about it either.

Now, on the question of whether they think America, at large, has gotten dumber since they first put out the song way back in 2004 ... well, they had some interesting responses.

Take a listen for yourself ... sounds like the fellas think the US of A might be a lil' stupider today than they were during the Bush era. More than just that though ... we're divided.

That's Mike's takeaway, anyway -- but he's got a solution to that as well.

Anderson .Paak Jets to Mexican Beach With Dutch Singer Amid Divorce Filing

Published | Updated

Anderson .Paak's wasting no time getting back in the dating game ... days after officially pulling the plug on his marriage, he's hitting the beach in Mexico with a new songbird.

The Silk Sonic scribe was spotted in Puerto Vallarta Sunday with Dutch singer Sterre Marith Tapilatu, and they're clearly a couple ... holding hands during a romantic walk at sunset.

The breathtaking scenery makes it seem as if they're in a music video for one of his R&B classics -- cue up "Leave the Door Open."

It's unclear when AP and Sterre first got together, but their public coming out as a couple happened just days after the Grammy winner filed to end his 13-year marriage to singer Jae Lin.

TMZ broke the story, in his divorce docs, Anderson is seeking joint custody of the 2 kids he and Jae Lin have together, and wants to divvy up their assets equally.

AP won't be schmoozing on vacay too long, though -- his Apple Music 1 podcast "Paak House Radio" just launched its 2nd season. Seems like he might have more than music to discuss ... if he chooses.

Draymond Green Booed Heavily In Warriors Return

Published

UPDATE

3:28 PM -- Grizzlies fans made their feelings toward Draymond known as he made his way to the court ... letting the boo birds fly as he checked into the game with just over 6 minutes left in the first quarter.

The jeers didn't seem to faze Green one bit ... as he nailed a three-pointer shortly after entering the game.

Draymond Green is officially back -- the Golden State Warriors star is expected to play against the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday ... his first game following his indefinite suspension.

The Dubs announced the four-time champion was listed as "active" for the road matchup just minutes ago ... sharing the news with a clip of Green dunking during pregame warmups.

Green will come off the bench for Golden State ... and the squad is undoubtedly hoping he provides a spark, as they're currently 18-21 and sit toward the bottom of the Western Conference.

Dubs head coach Steve Kerr pointed out Green hasn't played in a while ... which may result in limited minutes in his first game back.

"It will mostly be based on how he's feeling and how that unit is doing while he's out there," he told reporters before the game. "We'll just see how it goes."

Of course, Green hasn't played since his punishment for hitting Phoenix Suns player Jusuf Nurkic on Dec. 12 ... and during his time away from the hardwood, he sought counseling and focused on his life away from basketball.

Green previously revealed he contemplated walking away from his pro career during his suspension ... but commissioner Adam Silver talked him out of it.

As for his "antics," Green told the media he believes he can leave that part of his game behind ... and let his skills do the talking.

John Oliver Responds to Elon Trashing Him ... WTF's He Talking About?!?

Published
John Oliver
He's Definitely Sensitive

John Oliver and Elon Musk have been in a little back and forth lately -- and with the ball technically in JO's court ... he's now picking it up and giving his response to us.

We got the comedian Monday at LAX and asked about this new feud he seems to find himself in with the Tesla chief -- who recently labeled him "woke" ... not to mention calling him "weak sauce." Of course, Elon appeared to be responding to John highlighting him on his show last month.

Here's what Elon had to say in response to an article that basically trashed John's 'Last Week Tonight' segment -- which picked Elon apart in great detail. EM wrote, "It is rather tragic to see an otherwise capable comedian like @iamjohnoliver become weak sauce."

He added, "The reason he is not very funny these days is because he is too keen to pander to wokeness, which is fundamentally a lie, whereas great humor requires revealed truth."

Welp, now John's weighing in on Elon's gripe with him -- namely, accusing him of going "woke" ... which is basically EM's favorite word these days. In our walk-and-chat with JO ... he basically shrugged his shoulders on what it is he thinks Elon thinks of him.

The one thing John knows for sure about Elon is that he's thin-skinned as hell -- but as far as what Elon's getting at with his "woke" argument ... John says he can't play psychologist for a dude like Mr. Musk. In fact, he says he's not sure Elon knows what he means!

Our photog asked one big question -- do you think your feud will continue on??? John has a hilarious response ... and to us, it kinda proves Elon wrong in his assessment of humor.

Check it out and weigh in for yourself.

Bills, Steelers Fans Snow Way We're Missing This Game!!!

DASHING THROUGH THE SNOW

A little bit of snow -- okay, a TON of snow -- wasn't gonna stop Bills and Steelers fans from making their way to the stadium for Monday's Wild Card game ... with diehard supporters trudging to their seats in time for kickoff.

The playoff matchup was originally slated to go down on Sunday ... but Mother Nature had other plans, as a snowstorm forced the N.Y. governor and NFL commish Roger Goodell to push it back a day.

The Bills pulled out all the stops in hopes of getting Highmark Stadium ready in time for the contest ... even offering folks $20 an hour to help clear out the snow.

Despite the efforts, there was plenty left over from the storm ... but judging by videos of spectators walking through knee-deep piles in order to get to their seats, they didn't care one bit.

In fact, when Buffalo tight end Dawson Knox caught the first touchdown of the game, Bills Mafia made use of the extra snow by throwing it up in the air to celebrate.

All things considered, the field looks damn good for the game ... with not one snowflake in sight.

The Bills -- who are no strangers to uncooperative weather -- have the early lead over Pittsburgh ... but there's still plenty of ball left.

'American Idol's' Chris Daughtry Today's Singers Can Hit Big w/o Show ... It's a Brave New World!!!

Published | Updated

Chris Daughtry is acknowledging aspiring professional singers these days might not need something like "American Idol" to launch their careers ... but he's walking a fine line here.

The 'Idol' alum was at LAX Monday, and our photog chatted him up about the modern landscape of music and television -- which, in the good old days of the aughts, made for the perfect combination of stardom on shows like 'AI' and others.

CD, of course, is a great example of that -- he didn't win the competition, but came out as a hugely popular artist nonetheless ... and he's been incredibly successful in the music biz.

With that in mind, our camera guy asks if he thinks 'Idol' is pretty much obsolete in the era of TikTok -- when up-and-comers can go viral much more easily than back then ... and break into the industry with a little more ease.

Welp, Chris won't go so far as to say 'Idol' is ancient and irrelevant -- you can tell he doesn't wanna straight up trash the show -- but he does note the obvious ... there are other routes.

Basically, Chris says he's just not sure if there are less people going out for 'Idol' in 2024 as there were back in 2004. On the question of whether can churn out megastars the way you used to in its heyday ... there, too, he kinda gives a shrugged-shoulder response.

Like he says ... he's lucky enough to where he doesn't have to think about that -- 'cause he's been there and conquered the mountain. In other words, he caught the good wave!

Chris is still seeing success well after his American Idol days... his new song "Artificial" is currently charting top 5 on Rock radio.

REPTILE INFLUENCER BRIAN BARCZYK DEAD AT 54 AFTER CANCER BATTLE

Published

Famous reptile enthusiast Brian Barczyk has sadly passed away after spending 10 days in hospice care ... following a brave battle with pancreatic cancer.

The announcement was made Monday ... with the folks at his Reptarium Reptile Zoo paying tribute to their "exceptional" visionary, mentor and friend in an emotional IG statement ... where they praised Brian's ability to touch innumerable hearts and minds globally with his fervent passion for reptiles and wildlife.

They added, "For those of us who had the privilege of working alongside him, Brian's absence leaves an immeasurable void. As we navigate this difficult time, we find comfort in the memories and the lasting light of Brian's work. He will be deeply missed but indeed, never forgotten."

Brian received news of his devastating stage four pancreatic cancer diagnosis almost a year ago ... and it looks like he knew what was coming as just days earlier, he shared an emotional goodbye video.

The reptile influencer once said ... "I'm ready, guys. It was a tough year. It was so painful, the pain was incredible, the sickness was incredible, the treatment was incredible, everything about it was so bad" ... while also thanking his "reptile army" for their support.

Brian made a career out of his love for reptiles ... starring on the Discovery Channel's "Venom Hunters" and kickstarting his successful YouTube career in 2016. He had 5.26 million subscribers and collaborated with the likes of Logan and Jake Paul.

As well his Reptarium Reptile Zoo, he was also the founder of Legasea Aquarium.

He also owned the third-largest collection of snakes in the world -- over 30,000, actively participating in venom milking.

He leaves behind his wife Lori and their two children, Noah and Jade. A memorial in honor of Brian will be held on Wednesday by his family in Sterling Heights, Michigan.

He was 54. RIP.

Aubrey O'Day I Have a Dream For MLK Day ... It's All About My OnlyFans!!!

Published | Updated

Aubrey O'Day is not staying silent about the things that matter ... at least to her ... she's using a famous Martin Luther King Jr. quote to promote her OnlyFans on MLK Day.

The former Danity Kane singer just published a series of thirst traps and OF promo videos on social media, asking for subscriptions and using the Reverend's words as her caption.

Aubrey's post starts with 7 shots of her showing off her boobs and butt and then it gets really raunchy with a couple videos where she's twerking ... and it's all accompanied by this MLK quote ... "Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter."

It's not just MLK she's using here, BTW ... Aubrey's also name-dropping Donald Trump, President Biden and Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen to drive clicks to her OF page ... it's really something to behold and a masterclass in shameless plugs.

She's posting a bunch of memes that basically drive her followers to her OnlyFans account -- and if it sounds inappropriate on MLK Day ... welp, you're not the only who feels that way.

011624_tmz_live_oday_kal
HONORING MLK A DIFFERENT WAY???

Fact is ... Dr. King's message and legacy deserve respect and reverence -- and Aubrey's post here is rubbing a lot of folks the wrong way ... especially in the context of promoting sexy content just to make a buck.

Yes, her point about needing to use social media to her advantage in the modern world is well-taken ... just not on MLK Day though. Here's hoping his children don't see this. 😬
