UPDATE
UPDATE

The couple says the tiny home communities are much faster, easier and more practical to build than affordable housing, and they tell us why the communities are serving people in greater ways than just providing shelter.

Jon Cryer and Lisa Joyner are joining forces with a non-profit doing all it can to tackle the homeless crisis in Los Angeles ... by providing tiny homes for shelter.

The "Two and a Half Men" star and his wife are spearheading a fundraising effort with the Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission, which opened the first Tiny Home Village in North Hollywood last month.

Along with donating $30,000 to the org's ongoing mission to fight homelessness and poverty in the L.A. area, Jon and Lisa will also be running 2 miles of the 125-MILE ultra-marathon to raise money for the cause.

Hope of the Valley hopes to raise over $200k, which will go toward opening another 500-bed Tiny Home Community across the San Fernando Valley.

Jon and Lisa will also serve as Tiny Home Village sponsors. A rep for HOTV also tells us it’s important to note that city councilman Paul Kerkorian, made it possible to build these homes in the city.

According to Hope of the Valley, the Tiny Homes initiative is an "innovative, affordable, and scalable solution to the humanitarian crisis known as homelessness" ... and with Jon and Lisa's support, it's ramping up in the best way.

Ray J G.O.A.T. (of earbuds) buys a goat ... After Milestone Sales Figure

GOAT STATUS

Ray J is killing it in the earbuds game -- so for the fallen competition, we say this prayer: May their bodies rest well in the ground; earth to earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dust. And, in RJ's case ... G.O.A.T. to goat.

Check out what the singer/biz mogul just picked up from his local animal farm ... a baby goat! He was showing it off down at his Miami crib, where he had the little guy within arm's length as he walked around the driveway. Those Florida leash laws, man -- they're intense.

In all seriousness though -- we're hearing Ray's new buddy here was actually a symbolic buy to celebrate the fact his Raycon Global Earbuds brand just went platinum by hitting a milestone sales figure ... one million unique customers worldwide.

Oh, and if you're wondering what the goat's name is -- it's just like the fairy tale, with a slightly different spelling ... Billie. No word on whether the last name's Gruff.

Of course, this isn't Ray's first rodeo in raising a pet -- he's got a whole pack of dogs on the West Coast ... which he shares with his on-again, off-again wife/ex ... Princess Love.

Speaking of Princess Love ... Ray's got some more good news there as well. Like we told you, he and the missus just called off their divorce (again) -- and seem like they're on track to patch things up. We're sure this goat will be the cherry on top 😚

Britney Conservatorship Case 2nd Hearing Since Doc ... Draws Huge #FreeBritney Crowd

Published | Updated

One of the first Britney Spears hearings since the release of a documentary about her conservatorship brought out a huge wave of #FreeBritney supporters ... but it looks like it was all for nothing.

Check out the scores of people who showed up to a courthouse in downtown L.A. Wednesday for a hearing in the case about hundreds of thousands Brit's trying to recoup for her conservatorship ... but nothing ended up happening on that front.

The judge continued the matter for another day -- and it looks like the whole hearing lasted about 20 minutes max. And, yet ... these folks were determined to have their voices heard. As you can see, the troupe showed up in force -- with signs and posters and even megaphones in hand.

It's unclear why they arrived for this one with such numbers ... it's the 2nd hearing since the release of 'Framing Britney Spears' on Feb. 5. On Feb. 11 -- the first such hearing following the controversial doc -- it was determined Jamie would stay on as co-conservator along with Bessemer Trust Company.

As for what was supposed to be happening today -- a judge could've officially weighed in on whether the estate could recoup the $308k Britney says her dad paid to her former business manager, Tri Star Sports & Entertainment Group.

Remember, Britney claimed after she stopped performing in early 2019 ... Tri Star allegedly asked Jamie for more dough, since the 5% commission they get from Brit is based on revenue from her getting on stage. They asked for $500k minimum per year, and Britney says Jamie shot 'em $308k and change ... without running it by her people, or trying to negotiate a better deal.

What we do know for sure ... they wanna #FreeBritney, whatever that means.

Shark Trafficking NY Man Convicted ... Backyard Pool Full of Sharks!!!

Published

Well, this bites for a NY man -- not as much as his odd pets -- but he's been convicted of trafficking sharks, which he kept in an above-ground pool in his backyard!!! Again, this is NY, not FL.

NY Attorney General Letitia James announced Wednesday the conviction of Joshua Seguine ... who pled guilty to illegal commercialization of fish, shellfish, crustaceans and wildlife with intent to sell 7 sandbar sharks ... which is a protected species in NY state.

Seguine was fined $5,000. Authorities say they first got whiff of all this in July 2017 after he was busted for driving without a license in Georgia, and cops found 5 undersized sharks in a large tank in the back of his truck.

Authorities say Seguine admitted he was transporting the sharks to NY to sell them. He also admitted to possessing live sharks at his house. The AG's Office says authorities later discovered Seguine operated the website MonsterFishKeepers.com and conducted his biz under the name Aquatic Apex Life LLC.

When authorities served a search warrant at his NY home they found 7 live sharks in his backyard pool. They also found 2 dead leopard sharks, one dead hammerhead shark and the snout of a smalltooth sawfish ... also an endangered species.

The live sharks were ultimately moved to the NY Aquarium at Coney Island.

LeBron James Proud To Be 1st Black Owner In Red Sox History ... Gunning To Own NBA Team Too

Published

LeBron James says he couldn't be happier to have broken the Red Sox ownership group color barrier this week ... explaining he hopes the move inspires the Black community.

"I think for me and for my partner, Maverick, to be the first two Black men to be a part of that ownership group in the history of that franchise, I think it's pretty damn cool," James said after his Lakers beat the Timberwolves on Tuesday night.

"It gives me and people that look like me hope and inspiration that they can be in a position like that as well, that it can be done."

James added, "It gives my kids at my I Promise School more and more inspiration as well."

James and his long-time business partner, Maverick Carter, officially joined Fenway Sports Group on Tuesday ... making them the first Black ownership partners in the history of the Red Sox.

A self-proclaimed Yankees and Indians fan ... James said Tuesday he's fired up to be teaming up with the org. -- telling media members the Red Sox are "obviously a historical franchise."

"And we know the history of the World Series championships that they've brought home to Boston and players that have come through there and the legacy that they hold in that area."

FYI -- the Sox, according to Forbes, are the third most valuable franchise in the MLB (behind the Yanks and Dodgers) ... reportedly valued at $3.3 BILLION.

As for what's next for LeBron -- who, by the way, also owns a piece of the legendary Liverpool soccer team -- he said buying an NBA team is the new major goal.

"I got so much to give to the game," Bron told reporters Tuesday. "I know what it takes to win at this level. I know talent. I also know how to run a business, as well."

"And so, that is my goal. My goal is to own an NBA franchise, and it will be sooner than later."

Fleetwood Mac Skateboarder Selling OG Viral Vid as an NFT!!! With One Major Catch

Published | Updated

The video seen 'round the world of a guy cruising on his skateboard and swigging Ocean Spray to Fleetwood Mac can officially (and digitally) be yours ... if you got the dough, and IF you're willing to do without one major component.

The guy who kicked off the 'Dreams' trend is Nathan Apodaca -- AKA Doggface -- and his manager tells us he's hawking his original 23-second long clip as a non-fungible token (NFT) on Rarible.com beginning Friday morning ... and he's opening the bids at a $500k minimum!!!

Waiting for your permission to load TikTok Post.

Here's the catch ... Nathan's video will be WITHOUT the Fleetwood Mac song that's now sorta the anthem to this video. He doesn't have the rights to sell that, so it'll just feature the original sound he shot on his iPhone -- which is ... kinda awk, but still cool we suppose.

The Ocean Spray logo will also be blurred for this sale ... 'cause Nate ain't got those rights either.

Waiting for your permission to load TikTok Post.

Still, if you want the footage all for yourself -- that's essentially what's up for grabs here. And, remember, NFTs are inherently valuable by nature ... they're one-of-a-kind assets that no one else has, so while half a mil might sound like a lot -- it could be worth the investment. Nathan partnered with CryptoCake to sell his NFT.

As for why he's doing this ... we're told the aftermath of him posting this video -- which has amassed tens of millions of views between TikTok and IG -- has been more than good to him ... as he's raked in big-time cash in merch and sponsorship deals, and he wants to spread the love by offering this clip to keep the good vibes going.

"DREAMS" COME TRUE

We know what you're thinking ... is he just pocketing this money too? Yes and no -- Nathan's manager tells us he plans to buy his folks a house with the proceeds, plus help open an event center in his town of Idaho Falls. All worthy causes -- so, step right up!!!

Rihanna New Bev Hills Digs ... $13.8 Million Mansion!!!

Published | Updated

Rihanna skipped out on the Grammys this year and hasn't dropped an album in 5 years, but rest assured, she's doing just fine ... and the proof's in her new pad.

The singer and Fenty Beauty founder is the new owner of a Beverly Hills mansion ... after she reportedly dropped $13.8 million on the beautiful 7,628-square-foot home sitting on a nearly 22,000-square-foot lot ... which comes with an open-air courtyard, pool, spa and fire pit.

On the inside, there's a spacious floor plan with 5 beds, 7 baths and, of course ... a gourmet chef's kitchen.

If ya haven't heard, Rihanna's been killing it the past few years in the fashion and cosmetics biz with Savage x Fenty to go with Fenty Beauty ... this mansion is the fruit of that labor.

LeBron James Becomes Part Owner of Boston Red Sox

Published | Updated

LeBoston Red Sox.

Yep, LeBron James is now a part-owner of one of the most storied franchises in pro sports ... the Boston Red Sox.

So, how did it happen?

LeBron has obtained shares in the Fenway Sports Group -- which is the parent company of the BoSox, along with several other prominent sports teams and companies.

No word on how many shares LeBron owns or how much money he put down -- but what's clear is he's a minority partner in FSG, which means he's a part-owner of the Sox, as first reported by the Boston Globe.

By the way, the Boston Globe is owned by John Henry -- the majority owner of the Boston Red Sox, who's reportedly worth $2.8 BILLION.

LeBron has publicly supported the NY Yankees for years -- but obviously, those days are over now.

The rivalry between NY and Boston goes back decades and there's no way you can support both teams ... even if you're LeBron!

LeBron's business partner, Maverick Carter, is also part of the FSG ownership group now -- which makes him a Sox part-owner as well.

LeBron has yet to publicly comment on the deal -- but he's expected to make some sort of announcement in the near future.

FYI, the Boston Red Sox are reportedly valued at $3.3 BILLION, according to Forbes ... which makes them the 3rd most valuable franchise in MLB, behind the Yankees and Dodgers.

LeBron has some experience with pro sports ownership -- he bought a piece of the legendary Liverpool soccer team back in 2011.

As for FSG, the company owns pieces of the NESN network, Roush Fenway Racing, Liverpool FC and more.

The move expands LeBron's already impressive empire -- he's reportedly made $343 million from NBA contracts alone.

Plus, his media company, Springhill Entertainment, is thriving with "Space Jam 2" coming out soon.

And, don't forget that reportedly $1 billion lifetime deal with Nike.

He's also a part-owner of the Blaze pizza company and has a stake in the Ladder supplement company, which he created with Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Bottom line ... LeBron is not only the greatest athlete on the planet, he's a pretty savvy businessman, too!

NFL's Derrick Henry Gifts O-Line Diamond Chains Thanks For The 2K-Yard Season!!!

Published

You help Derrick Henry rush for 2,000 yards, you get iced out!!!

That's exactly what the Tennessee Titans star did for his offensive line this week ... gifting them all awesome diamond chains for helping him reach the milestone.

27-year-old Henry was straight-up unstoppable in 2020 -- he ran for 2,027 yards and 17 touchdowns ... becoming just the 8th player in league history to join the 2,000 Yard Club.

Henry couldn't have done it without his boys up front ... and now he's showing some serious love by commemorating their accomplishment with the icy memento.

Center Ben Jones showed off the finished product ... which features a pendant with "2K" on the front and a crown on top.

The back features Jones' name and number ... as well as "O-Line 2k" and "2027 Yards."

No word on how much the pieces cost ... but Henry's got the coin -- he signed a $50 million contract last summer.

It's an awesome gesture from Henry, but it may end up working in his favor, too -- his o-line is probably gonna want another chain after this season!!

Mark Cuban Shuts Down Kristaps Porzingis Trade Rumors ... 'Not Gonna Happen'

Published

Kristaps Porzingis is NOT being shipped out of Dallas under ANY circumstance ... so says Mark Cuban.

The Mavs owner forcefully shut down persistent rumors that Dallas is looking to move the 25-year-old ... despite only being in the 2nd year of a 5-year $158 million contract he signed in 2019.

There have been rumblings about the Mavs looking for a trade partner for the past month -- including an SNY report that Dallas has reached out to the Golden State Warriors to see if they were interested in a deal.

Cuban had denied the rumors back in February -- but the rumblings continued -- which led to Cuban slamming the door shut on a possible KP move during Tuesday's appearance on "Live with Kelly & Ryan."

"We're not trading KP," Cuban said ... "KP's a star."

As Ryan Seacrest continued to probe, Cuban doubled down -- "It's not gonna happen, Ryan. You heard it here first. Definitely not gonna happen."

Porzingis missed the first 3 weeks of the NBA season while recovering from knee surgery -- and missed another 2 weeks last month with a back injury.

Despite the hiccups, KP is still a monster when he's on the court -- averaging 20.8 points and 8.4 rebounds per game.

The Mavs are currently in 8th place in the Western Conference -- and clearly Cuban is hoping KP will keep them in the playoff hunt.

... at least, for now.

Tiger Woods Signs Massive Video Game Deal ... with 'PGA Tour 2K' Franchise

Published | Updated

Tiger Woods is back in the video game business -- signing a HUGE new contract with 2K to appear in its PGA Tour game franchise.

So, yeah ... YOU'LL BE ABLE TO PLAY AS TIGER WOODS AGAIN!!

This is massive news for the guy who was once the king of golf video games!!!

Remember, Tiger dominated the gaming world with his Tiger Woods PGA Tour games from 1999 to 2013 -- but hasn't taken a swing in the digital space since.

That's changing though ... 2K announced Tuesday morning it signed Tiger to an "exclusive, long-term partnership" -- in which he will also serve as an "executive director" for its PGA Tour game franchise.

The deal means Tiger's image and likeness can be used in all PGA Tour 2K golf games.

Tiger -- who's still recovering from a bad February car crash -- issued a statement on the deal ... saying, "I am looking forward to making my return to the video game landscape, and with 2K and HB Studios, I’ve found the right partners to make it happen."

"I'm honored to take part in this opportunity and look forward to sharing my expertise and insights as we build the future of golf video games together."

So, how much cash will Tiger make from the deal? That wasn't disclosed ... but Woods reportedly made a fortune during his run with EA Sports and we're guessing he's cashing in huge this time around as well.

YouTuber David Dobrik Your Boy Doesn't Drink ... But Does Wanna Get into Tequila!!!

Published

YouTuber David Dobrik tends not to touch the bottle, but it sure looks like he's ready to pass you a handle with his name on it ... just bring the lime and salt!

Dobrik's company, The David Dobrik Corporation, has filed a trademark application for what appears to be his own tequila line ... at least that's what his paperwork says, anyway.

According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, Dobrik's looking to lock up the rights to "DOBRIQUILA" to slap on spirits, liqueurs, distilled agave liquor and just about anything else you can take a swig from.

Now, while it might not be all that crazy for an influencer to be diving into the lucrative tequila biz -- looking at you, Kendall -- it is a little interesting to see Dobrik making a run at it.

Fact is ... the guy is famously known not to drink -- kinda like Trump. Dave even talked about it once in a quick-fire interview with Wired, in which he explained (in the third person) that he doesn't booze because he can't handle his liquor, and is scared how he might act all smashed and whatnot. Plus, it kinda goes against the squeaky clean nice guy image he portrays.

That's not to say he doesn't hang with folks who sip every now and then -- in fact, a lot of his videos document tipsy shenanigans he and his friends get into, but with him usually being sober. In fact, a lot of his video titles advocate for not drinking ... go figure!

Anyway, all aboard the Dobri-quila train ... 'cause it's a-comin'.

Reggie's fam set up a GoFundMe to try and raise $30,000, which we're told will go toward paying hospital bills and burial expenses.

TMZ broke the story ... Reggie died Sunday in Pasadena, the day after being released from a two-month stay in the hospital.

We're told Reggie's fiancée is getting a flurry of phone calls from family, friends and fans sending condolences and prayers ... and now she's gonna help organize the fundraiser, which is at $720 and counting.

LET'S RUN IT BACK

"I'm back, man!" Gronk told us. "I will be back playing football, man. I love the game of football. I loved playing last year. I had a great time."

Gronk wasted no time with free agency kicking off this week ... agreeing to a 1-year, $10 milli deal on Monday.

Rob was solid in 2020 -- his first season back since leaving the game in 2018 -- putting up more than 600 yards and 7 TDs.

Oh yeah, and the guy won his 4th Super Bowl. Not too shabby.

Gronk reacted to the news with a nod to the SpongeBob SquarePants pirate ... saying, "Arrr You Ready Kids??"

Somewhere, Brady is saying "aye, aye, captain!!"

Elvis Presley Iconic '68 Comeback Special Guitar ... Could Get $1 Mil in Auction

Published

Elvis Presley is about to make someone the king of rock n' roll memorabilia -- that's if you make the winning bid on a guitar used for his famous 1968 comeback.

The folks over at Kruse GWS Auctions are handling the auction of Elvis' rare cherry red Hagstrom Viking II guitar. EP was slinging this axe when he shot the highly anticipated TV special on NBC, which marked his return to performing live music ... after a 7-year hiatus focusing on movie roles.

This guitar has tons of Elvis history attached to it beyond the special -- it was featured on the cover of his "From Elvis in Memphis" album cover, and it was once displayed at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Museum.

The winning bidder of this auction -- which kicks off March 27 at 10 AM -- will also get sheet music from the '68 TV special. It's a nice cherry on top, especially considering Kruse GWS anticipates the guitar will fetch somewhere between $750k and $1 million.

And, for those who get outbid on the guitar, no worries ... there's other cool Elvis memorabilia also on the auction block -- like his personally owned 14k yellow gold and blue enamel TCB (taking care of business) necklace.

In the non-Elvis department -- Elizabeth Taylor's personally owned earrings, broach and necklace ... as well as the 1950 Cadillac Fleetwood from "The Godfather."
