Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice can thank Margot Robbie for getting their Barbie-themed song into the new movie -- this despite a lot of bad blood between the brand and the OG 'Barbie Girl' band Aqua.

The actress revealed in a new interview Monday that she actually begged director Greta Gerwig -- who's heading up the "Barbie" film -- to somehow get Aqua's '90s hit song "Barbie Girl" into the production.

Margot goes on to say she pled with Gerwig to get this track into their project.

Here's how she explains that effort ... "I was like, 'Greta, how are we going to incorporate this song? We can’t do a Barbie movie and not have a nod to Aqua’s "Barbie Girl." It has to be in there.' And [Greta] was like, 'Don’t worry, we’re going to find a cool way to incorporate it.'"

Welp, her wish was granted ... because Mark Ronson -- the EP of the "Barbie" soundtrack -- included Nicki and Ice's collab on the official album ... and it sounds like we're actually going to hear it as the movie plays out on screen. We're already hearing it in some promos.

Here's how MR says she reacted when she learned the two rappers were coming out with a Barbie tune ... "I was like, 'Together? Are you joking?!' I just knew immediately that all my girlfriends were going to lose their minds."

It's interesting ... a lot of people assumed Nicki and Ice might've been in coordination with Warner Bros. for their single -- but it doesn't sound like that's what was going on ... they were coming together independently, and Margot made their fortunes align. It's kismet!

The team-up is even more significant when you consider the creators of "Barbie Girl" -- the iconic '90s song by Aqua -- were in a years-long legal feud with Mattel over their hit. The dust has settled on that ... and it seems the brand's honchos are ready to turn the page.

We must say ... all the "Barbie" PR has been spot-on, and all the rage going back almost a year now. This movie is kinda all anyone's talking about as far as summer blockbusters go ... which is funny seeing how a Christopher Nolan movie is coming out the same weekend.

No one's really talking about that film though ... it's all pink dresses, flowery shoes and bright colorful scenery, it seems.

It also doesn't hurt that Barbie has her foot in real estate, which has jumped off the toy rack and into real life. Airbnb has launched a Malibu Barbie listing ... but made it all about Ken.

Harrison Ford is cracking his whip one last time as the iconic Indiana Jones -- and to ring in the big moment at the film's premiere ... the dude lost his digging gear and put on a suit.

The actor was on hand Monday in London, for the premiere of "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" showing off his best smile ... though some of his attempts looked like half-scowls.

In any case, it was a big deal for the movie biz. You see, this is gonna be Harrison's final outing as the famed archeologist ... and yes, he's still kicking ass at the ripe age of 80.

As you know, Harrison might be done playing Indy -- but he's far from retiring ... which he just made clear this past weekend. He was asked if he'd be hanging it up soon -- but he scoffed at the idea of that, saying that working made him feel useful.

BTW, speaking of acting ... Harrison actually made a little news on the red carpet. He said that if contract negotiations fall through this week between SAG-AFTRA and the studios, he too would be prepared to strike in solidarity with his union. Talk about a stand-up guy!

Anyway, as far as the actual movie goes ... it's getting mostly positive reviews and a lot of people are saying it's a fitting sendoff for an iconic character. Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who plays his goddaughter in the flick, is said to potentially be getting set up as his replacement.

Time will tell, we suppose. All we know is that it's been a long journey for Harrison in this cinematic universe -- remember, he started playing Indiana Jones way back in 1981 ... so it's kinda crazy to see this thing come full circle all these years later.

Actor Lew Palter, who played business magnate Isidor Straus in "Titanic," has died.

His daughter, Catherine, told the Hollywood Reporter ... Palter passed away in May after a bout with lung cancer.

Palter was best known for his role as Isidor Straus -- the co-owner of Macy's -- who perished with his wife, Ida, aboard the Titanic in the 1997 James Cameron movie.

In his most famous scene, Palter cuddles with Ida -- portrayed by Elsa Raven -- on the bed inside their cabin as the massive ship sinks into the North Atlantic Ocean after hitting an iceberg.

Interestingly enough, the real-life Straus was actually the great great grandfather of Stockton Rush's wife, Wendy. Stockton was one of the 5 who died in the Titan submersible.

Before "Titanic," Palter appeared in various hit TV shows, including "Columbo," "Kojak," "Charlie's Angels," "The Brady Bunch," and "Hill Street Blues."

Palter was 94.

Jennifer Lawrence is puttin' a pretty juicy rumor to bed ... one that claims she was deep in an affair with Liam Hemsworth while he was still together with Miley Cyrus.

J-Law spoke her truth on Monday's "Watch What Happens Live" after host Andy Cohen asked if she had any connection to Miley's shade-filled "Flowers" music video -- one that folks believe is all about Liam cheating on Miley.

Many pointed fingers at the actress, but she's denying it all ... telling Andy she's happy to clear it all up, claiming they only smooched once and she didn't think there was any overlap between the lone kiss and his relationship with Miley.

For those unaware, Jennifer admitted back in 2015 she planted one on Liam, jokingly saying on a past 'WWHL' episode that he's really hot, adding "What would you have done?"

In Miley's music video, some fans noticed the dress she wore looked a lot like the one Jennifer donned at "The Hunger Games" 2012 premiere, which she attended with Liam ... and there were rumors the 2 actors hooked up on set while filming that saga.

Sounds like Jennifer's up to debunk the wild theory -- may the odds be ever in her favor.

Jeremy Meeks has gone full Hollywood after leaving behind his life of crime -- now, he's got a vet who's taken him under her wing ... one Ptosha Storey, who's raving about her protégé.

We got the former "hot felon" -- who became internet famous for his attractive mug shot way back when -- at LAX Monday ... and he was telling us all about his new showbiz career ... including a slew of movies and TV shows he's been acting in over the past few years now.

We've caught him at the airport before, but here ... he had company. Ptosha was right next to him -- and she too was singing Jeremy's praises the whole time -- like, very much so.

Check it out ... we get into a long convo about the craft of acting, and what exactly JM does to get into character -- and, perhaps just as important, how PS has shown him the ropes after a long and storied career of her own ... which dates back the '90s.

As you can see, Ptosha has nothing but good things to say about Jeremy -- who she says is a naturally gifted actor ... which she believes has to do with his many life experiences.

We also asked Jeremy how he gets into character for his projects these days ... and the dude is blunt, saying he has to go to dark places at times -- and it's not always so easy to shake that. Sounds like a straight-up future Oscar winner, if you ask us!!!

It's a pretty fascinating convo -- for starters, you can tell Ptosha truly believes in Jeremy, and the guy is very clearly grateful for her support and wisdom. As for an update on that biopic series, he's been wanting to make happen ... no real update just yet, at least not right now.

Canadian actress Lisa Jakub was only 14 when she was cast to play Lydia Hillard -- the eldest of the three Hillard kiddos, who helps her siblings navigate through their parents' divorce -- in the 1993 family film, "Mrs. Doubtfire."

Lisa shared the big screen with the late Robin Williams as the funny father-turned-nanny, Mrs. Doubtfire, Sally Field as the more stern and stressed-out parent, Miranda, Matthew Lawrence as the sporty middle child, and Mara Wilson as the third and youngest child.

Today, Lisa is all about mental health, staying active and is a certified yoga teacher.

Calling all Barbie girls -- Barbie's IRL Malibu Dreamhouse is going back up on Airbnb -- and this time, Ken's hosting two FREE overnight stays!!!

The life-size Dreamhouse -- located in the heart of Malibu, of course -- just got a pretty pink glow-up, and it's going to be listed on Airbnb a couple of days before the anticipated movie hits theaters.

Airbnb says Ken will host two lucky winners for individual overnight stays on July 21 and 22 ... the listing goes up July 17 at 10 AM PT and Airbnb says two people will be selected and can bring a friend for a free night at the real-life Barbie house.

The 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom pad is 3 stories and it's decked out with a private theater, hobby room, outdoor disco dance floor, hot tub, and an infinity pool ... not to mention sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean.

Remember, the Dreamhouse went on Airbnb back in 2019 with a $60 nightly price tag to honor the 60th anniversary of the iconic doll, and the property has since overgone a makeover ... so this is an even better deal!!!

The wreckage from the Titanic submersible tragedy hasn't even settled yet, but some are jumping at the opportunity to get Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet back on screens ... including Netflix.

The streaming giant recently announced James Cameron's 3-hour epic is hitting their service starting July 1. Of course, it's not entirely clear if "Titanic" was already scheduled to be part of their new offerings ... or if this is in response to OceanGate.

If you look online ... people definitely have their opinions, and many believe Netflix added this as a last-minute play to capitalize on all the interest in the story -- and there's a lot.

Indeed ... many are accusing Netflix of doing this way too soon. Despite all the jokes and mockery that's been aimed at the victims of the submersible, it would seem there's still a fair amount of people who feel like their memory should be honored -- at least for now.

BTW, "Titanic" isn't the only deep-sea project they're airing in July -- there's a new doc they're also promoting called "The Deepest Breath" ... and that too is getting a double take.

Now, while many suspect Netflix did this as a way to jump on the submarine saga ... some reports have suggested the licensing deal for "Titanic" was already set -- and that it was actually known it would be part of their July slate even before the sub went missing.

If that is, indeed, true ... another question being posed -- would it be appropriate to yank 'Titanic' for sensitivity purposes??? Something tells us Netflix isn't primed to do that.

As you know -- 5 people onboard the Titan submersible died after authorities said the vessel imploded underwater ... and much sooner than everyone initially thought. There's been a lot of scrutiny about the safety concerns in the lead-up to this ill-fated dive.

The irony of "Titanic" resurfacing for at-home viewing is the fact that its director has been so outspoken about the Titan's voyage ... sounding off and suggesting hubris was afoot.

Madonna has unloaded her beautiful Hidden Hills mansion ... and the Queen of Pop is making a fortune on the sale, TMZ has learned.

Madonna recently sold her ray of light for a whopping $23M. Her estate initially hit the market with a $26M price tag before reducing it to $23.5M. The buyer got her to shave off half a mil, so here we are.

Madonna is still making a sold profit ... TMZ broke the story, she picked up the place from The Weeknd back in 2021 for $19.3 mil.

The stunning estate sits on 3 acres and comes in at over 12.5K square feet ... with 9 beds and 11 baths. It has some great perks, like a glass wine cellar, theater, music lounge (obviously), a study, and a really neat no-edge, saltwater pool out back.

Lindsay Lohan's first little bundle of joy is almost here, and the actress will in fact be havin' a boy ... TMZ has learned.

Sources with direct knowledge tell us Lindsay and her husband, Bader Shammas, are expecting the little dude, and pretty soon -- we're told she's very close to giving birth.

As we first reported, Lindsay's mother, Dina, will actually be by her side in Dubai for the birth ... and some of Lindsay's siblings will also be overseas around the same time as the birth to meet their new nephew.

Remember, the "Freaky Friday" star made the expecting announcement back in March ... with a swarm of support from fans and friends online.

Lindsay and Bader spent some time with her family in April -- marking the first time she had been with her mom and other members of her fam all together in at least 7 years.

As for the happy couple, they got married last year after sparking a romance just before the pandemic ... and now the 2 have something very exciting to look forward to very soon.

Renault, Alpine's parent company, announced the news on Monday ... saying Otro Capital, RedBird Capital Partners and Maximum Effort Investments (which includes the trio of actors) are taking a 24% equity stake in the organization ... which is worth $218 million.

Otro Capital's Alec Scheiner will get a seat on Alpine's board of directors as part of the deal.

This is yet another sports venture for RR and RM, who famously bought Welsh soccer team Wrexham AFC back in 2020. Reynolds was also recently interested in purchasing the Ottawa Senators, although his bid did not move forward.

Alpine couldn't be more thrilled with the deal ... saying the partnership "will bring successful sports & media experience and operational expertise in building high-growth companies."

Alpine is currently fifth in the Constructor standings this season with drivers Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon ... who are notably covered in the hit Netflix series, "Drive To Survive."

Margot Robbie is about to play Barbie on the big screen -- and in the lead-up to that, she's also the only one who apparently knows there's a theme to this ... color-wise, we mean.

The actress showed up to a press shoot Sunday in Beverly Hills with a bunch of her costars from the flick -- including Ryan Gosling, who's playing Ken. They all got together to pose for shots and to talk to journalists ... but MR stood out like a sore thumb, in a good way.

Take a gander ... she's quite literally the sole person rocking pink, and the juxtaposition is jarring. Everyone else is in brown/beige/grey -- as if they were there to promote "Dune 2" and not THE "Barbie" movie ... which is all about girly-girl vibes and vibrant shades/tones.

As we said, Margot did her job and served as a good soldier for the promo ... as she has been for the past several months now. She certainly knows how to telegraph Barbie.

A lot of people say she was born for this role ... and by the way she's oozing Barbie-core of late, that's probably accurate. Plus, this flick stands to be a big bounce-back for her in terms of projected box office numbers ... it's one of the most highly-anticipated films of the year.

In light of a couple of flops she was a part of last year, Margot could use a big opening weekend -- and considering all the fanfare and chatter online ... it's definitely got a chance.

Of course, she and the rest of the "Barbie" crew will have stiff competition that weekend ... Christopher Nolan's new blockbuster, "Oppenheimer," is coming out the same day -- and it too has a very starry cast, albeit a completely different tone.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are being put over a barrel at Netflix -- 'cause they're apparently on the verge of losing millions unless they pivot ... so says a new report.

According to The Sun, Netflix honchos have recently had a convo with the ex-Royal couple ... supposedly telling them to make better, must-see content -- or risk not getting the rest of their $100-million-plus contract ... which they've already gotten about half of at this point.

Indeed ... the reported conditions have been set -- namely, Meg and Harry must produce higher quality shows, docs, and/or movies to claim the rest of their bag ... and if they don't, Netflix is apparently prepared to cut their deal short and refuse to pay 'em out in full.

The Sun goes on to say -- citing an unnamed source claiming to be plugged in -- Netflix was happy with the results for their bombshell doc ... but have been disappointed about everything after that, which presumably includes PH's forthcoming Invictus docuseries (which is still happening and coming out around August). Anything else though is nowhere to be found.

The report notes Meghan pitched an idea for an animated series about a girl inspired by historical female figures -- but that got dropped by Netflix. It would seem they didn't think it was compelling ... a recurring theme we're now hearing about them as creatives.

Now, on the prospect of potentially cutting 'em loose unless they deliver ... The Sun's source says the streaming giant wouldn't do it as publicly/humiliatingly as Spotify did. However, they do concede it would grab big headlines in and of itself ... and probably be a bad look.

No word on a timetable for them to make good on their deal, but it sounds like the clock is ticking for them. Gotta say ... this is not great news for Harry and Meghan. It would seem that wherever they've inked big-time deals ... the companies have been unsatisfied.

They're already filthy rich as is -- but if their Hollywood prospects are cut short ... that could seriously impact their financial futures in the long run. So, they kinda gotta get with it on ideas.

Jon Hamm finally tied the knot -- and he did it with a former 'Mad Men' costar, no less ... with a lot of other nods to the show that made him super famous.

The actor married Anna Osceola Saturday after getting engaged last year ... and after dating for 2 years. They'd actually met on the set of 'Mad Men' in 2015 ... and apparently circled back with each other after Jon split with his longtime partner, Jennifer Westfeldt.

Now, as for the nuptials themselves ... absolutely stunning. Jon and Anna got hitched at beautiful Anderson Canyon in Big Sur -- so, yes, it was a seaside wedding of sorts.

The reason the Big Sur location is significant isn't lost on fans of 'MM' -- the series ended with Don Draper there having a rediscovery of himself ... and the final shot shows Jon's character stumbling across an epiphany for the iconic "Hilltop" Coke ad of 1970.

Nice little nod, obviously -- but the guest list was just the cherry on top for a "Mad Men" flashback. John Slattery showed up to congratulate his old costar, and there was even a hint of "Mad Men"-themed cocktails on hand as an homage. Lord knows those boys drank!

Other A-listers in attendance ... Billy Crudup -- who just recently got married himself -- plus Paul Rudd, Tina Fey, and others. Their walkup song was James Bond-linked too ... with a band playing the theme to "You Only Live Twice." Indeed, it was all 1960s fare here.

As for the bride and groom ... they looked great. Jon was incredibly dapper in his tux -- and Anna wowed with her flowing gown. Everyone else was dressed to the nines as well.
