Kim Kardashian definitely earned her title as Princess of Prison Reform ... using her celebrity status for good has yielded nothing but positive results, so says one of her freed prisoners.

The first prisoner released under the First Step Act -- Matthew Charles -- showered Kim with praise when we ran into him on Capitol Hill. As we reported, Kim not only helped secure his release ... she's covered the next 5 years of rent while he gets back on his feet.

Kim was front and center at The White House Thursday to unveil her latest prison reform initiative -- a rideshare partnership that allows inmates to travel to job interviews. The end game is to make them productive citizens rather than recidivists.

Kim's been a big help by writing checks so various lawyers and prison reform groups can do their thing ... and they have done their thing with success, recently freeing more than 17 inmates and counting. These are mostly inmates who are serving long terms for non-violent -- mostly drug -- offenses.

Get a load of baby Archie, everyone, the freshly-minted son of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The kid's a month-and-a-half old and finally, we're able to see his face in all its glory.

Still not crystal clear how Meghan and Harry came up with the name Archie ... to be precise, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

Archie is kinda like the United State's Attorney General ... he's 7th in line for the top spot. Archie wasn't in public view during the Queen's birthday celebration earlier this month, so this is really the first time we've seen his full face.

Nevertheless, he's a big deal in the UK. BTW, the first official interracial baby in the Royal Fam.

Two of the Kardashian kids got their traditional double birthday party this weekend, courtesy of Kim and Kourtney.

North West turned 6 on Saturday and Penelope turns 7 next month, but close enough for a birthday bash.

The theme of the party ... the Hasbro game, Candy Land. It was held in the backyard of one of the Kardashians ... we don't know which.

Tons of party stuff ... a bounce house, toadstools and the obligatory candy, complete with an enormous candy bar festooned with the worlds, "Happy B-Day Penelope and North."

North and Kim showed up with matching eye shadow and braids.

A pro MMA fighter nearly had his leg cut off his body in a gruesome car accident last year ... and now he's suing the California Department of Transportation, claiming it's responsible for his tragic injuries.

It's all in court docs obtained by TMZ Sports ... Chris Bonilla -- a former Muay Thai champ who also fought with the Glory kickboxing promotion -- says he crashed into an unmarked barrier on the side of a freeway last year.

Bonilla -- 31 years old at the time -- claims he was driving on the 10 Freeway in West Covina at around 6 AM when he needed to pull off to the side of the road for an unspecified reason.

But, Bonilla says when he did that ... he accidentally crashed into a K-rail that was NOT properly marked.

Bonilla says the results of the accident were devastating -- his car was split down the side ... severing his leg and breaking his clavicle in the process.

Chris says doctors were able to reattach his leg, but he's facing life-long issues and could have to have the leg eventually amputated.

Bonilla is now suing the California Department of Transportation for unspecified damages ... claiming it did not properly provide the necessary protections to prevent these of types of accidents from happening.

The firearm that has Lil Xan under investigation currently by the LAPD ... looks very similar to a handgun he whipped out -- suddenly and unexpectedly -- during a photo shoot.

We've obtained behind the scenes images from the shoot Xan did back in January ... where he clearly brandishes the piece and showed it off to people on set.

Sources who were there tell TMZ ... the gun was NOT supposed to be part of the shoot, and Lil Xan just brought it with him and surprised everyone when he pulled it out. We're told everyone felt it was a real gun ... although he never said for sure.

We broke the story ... Lil Xan pulled a gun on a man at a gas station last week, and it looks almost identical to the one in the photos. The rapper's affinity for guns could get him in big trouble.

Jake Paul says he ain't just talk when it comes to fighting celebrities -- telling TMZ Sports he'll throw hands with ANY famous person who wants smoke ... as long as they "pull up" to his house.

Of course, Jake's brother, Logan Paul, DID fight a guy who showed up to his L.A. home looking for a scrap recently -- an Ivan Drago wannabe who got the CRAP beat out of him in Logan's backyard.

Now, with celebrities like Justin Bieber calling out Tom Cruise for an MMA fight (even though he later backed down) ... we asked Jake if he's serious about some celebrity fighting action.

"I will box anybody," Jake said outside Bootsy Bellows in Hollywood ... "I'll box anyone."

Jake wasn't kidding -- telling us he'd even take on pro fighters like Deontay Wilder ... if Wilder was actually serious about that fight (which he never would because he's a pro).

In fact, Jake says he doubts anyone will actually take him up on his offer -- "When it's actually time, no one's gonna pull up."

Here is a 40-year-old version of the classic TV dad from the Emmy Award-winning sitcom, "Everybody Loves Raymond" rocking a fresh face at the 24th Annual People's Choice Awards in Santa Monica, California back in 1998 (left).

And, 21 years later ... The now 61-year-old actor is the father of four children. Earlier this year, he was seen promoting his newest film project, "Paddleton," at the 2019 Film Independent Spirit Awards. He was spotted showing off some new scruff while walking the red carpet at the event (right).

Now, this is clearly why everybody loves him!

Paris' archbishop ditched his holy headgear for something a little more practical during the first mass in the Notre Dame Cathedral since the fire ... opting for a helmet instead.

Archbishop Michel Aupetit and a number of his fellow clergymen held their first church service Saturday in a chapel behind the choir, which was deemed safe by construction experts who'd been consulted on the ceremony ... according to AP.

Auteptit wasn't the only one protecting his noggin from any potential lingering debris from the ravaged roof -- which was set ablaze in April. A bunch of other priests on hand, as well as about 30 others who were present, all appeared to be wearing hard-hat helmets.

Hey ... better safe than sorry, right? Authorities have said the place is still very much so in the rebuilding phase -- and will be for the next 3 years -- and it's likely somewhat hazardous after the inferno destroyed much of the roof as well as the structure's spire.

You don't wanna leave anything to chance ... or faith, for that matter. Treating it like a construction site's a good idea if you're going in there. And go in they certainly did.

According to reports, Saturday's mass marked the anniversary of the consecration of the cathedral's altar, which is apparently celebrated each year in June. Fire or not ... these guys clearly take the affair seriously enough to risk injury or worse.

What's also interesting ... if the priests were able to get in this early and hold mass, ya gotta wonder if they'll reopen their doors early to the masses as well.

UPDATE 5:45 PM PT -- Vicky's lawyer, Marty Singer, tells TMZ ..."We are shocked that Lilly filed a claim in probate court since for over 2 years Vicky, with no legal obligation to do so, paid all of Chris' remaining child support despite it being questionable Vicky even owed same, as well as 80% of the required educational expenses for Lilly, including a request by Lilly to pay college tuition this semester when she failed to disclose she had dropped out."

Chris Cornell has been gone for more than 2 years, yet a new dispute has erupted over his ex-wife, their daughter and his widow.

Chris and his ex-wife, Susan Silver, struck a deal when they divorced back in 2004 that he'd pay their daughter Lilly's college expenses. We're told Chris established a trust for college and other expenses, and that money is doled out as needed.

Lilly filed a claim with Chris' estate in the probate cases, asking for money to cover college and other expenses. Days after the claim was filed, the rep for the estate objected to the claim.

Sources connected to the Cornell family tell TMZ, Lily enrolled in a California college last year and the trust paid her $21,000 tuition for each semester. We're told after the first week of instruction in the second semester, Lilly dropped out. Our sources say a rep for Lilly sent an email to the trust in March -- we're told a contentious email -- making sure payment was made. The trust, which is administered by Chris's widow, Vickey, made a call to the school and found out she had dropped out.

Our sources say the trustee is not demanding that the tuition money be returned, but their position is that there will be no more payments until there's proof Lilly is back in school. If the school ended up giving a refund for the semester Lilly dropped out, that money would go directly to her, and if that happens we're told the trust would deduct that amount from future tuition expenses.

The probate judge has yet to rule.

Robin Thicke's been in the baby-making mood these past couple years -- and now, he's in the baby-taking mood ... as in taking cute pics with his kids for Father's Day weekend.

The singer was out in Malibu Friday with his baby mama, April Love Geary, their two babies and his 9-year-old son, Julian ... whom he shares with ex Paula Patton. The family of 5 hit up the beach together, where they got an impromptu photo-op in with the kiddos in the sand ... each parent taking turns on camera and lap duty.

A perfect way to ring in the holiday weekend, if you ask us ... especially considering how adorable their latest additions are. And, just check out how happy Robin looks as a new dad (yet again). The guy's absolutely beaming ... at age 42, no less.

Robin and April welcomed their second child, Lola Alain, just a few months ago -- this, of course, less than a year after she gave birth to their first kid, Mia Love ... who's already over a year old and rockin' little blonde curls. AWWW!!!

It seems like just yesterday we were witnessing April breastfeed Mia on the Gram -- now we're another baby in ... with plenty of time left for a third if they wanna keep the streak going. April's only 24, after all -- and looks as great as any mom could 2 kids deep.

Bella Thorne's ex-boyfriend, Mod Sun, is setting the record straight over allegedly keeping her passport from her and damaging her career ... and he's calling BS.

The rapper was heading into Beauty & Essex Friday in Hollywood where our photog asked for his side of the story -- which Bella has been very open about in interviews since the couple split in April. According to her, MS withheld her passport and caused her to miss a flight ... and, ultimately, an important gig. She broke it down for Jenny McCarthy.

Mod Sun clarifies things a bit, telling us she called him out of the blue two months after they'd broken up ... and, essentially, told him she needed her passport back just a couple hours before she was set to take off to Paris. You can listen to the rest ... it's a doozy.

Oh, and as far as her captive laptop that she implies is still out of her possession -- Mod says she got it back the day she "broke in" to his place.

As we first told you, Bella got the boot from Mod's place shortly after they'd broken up when she went to collect her stuff. Cops were called and no one was arrested -- but Mod says she didn't walk away empty-handed ... she left with her laptop. So he's not sure why she's talking that up.

We also asked about Bella questioning Mod's sobriety on Instagram. He tried celebrating being 32 days sober, when she hit him in the comment section with a, "But ur not sober."

3:46 PM PT -- Brittney's attorney, Sanford Rubenstein, tells TMZ ... " This does not in any way change the facts of the assault for which Remy ma is being prosecuted by the NY DA."

Brittney Taylor, who claims Remy Ma attacked her, is now in hot water herself for allegedly dishing out a beating during a brawl that covered 35 floors of her Manhattan luxury apartment ... TMZ has learned.

The "Love & Hip Hop" star got arrested early Friday morning after a fight started in her apartment. Law enforcement sources tell us Brittney and another woman were arguing in Brittney's midtown pad when things got physical.

Brittney allegedly scratched the woman, leaving marks on her. She fled to an elevator, but we're told Brittney hopped in another elevator and met the alleged victim in the lobby ... where the beatdown continued. She allegedly pulled a Naomi Campbell special -- hurling her cell phone and clocking the woman in the forehead.

We're told Brittney retreated to her apartment, but a little while later NYPD showed up to haul her in for assault and aggravated harassment ... both misdemeanors.

She was released without bail.

The arrest is kinda ironic. Remy Ma is currently facing the same exact charges for an allegedly punching Brittney back in April during a concert.

Brittney's attorney, Sanford Rubenstein, tells us his client has a court date next month to face the charges.

6/15 -- Ariana Grande seems to be on the same page as "Catfish" creator Nev Schulman. She posted a photo of them together on her social media, just a day after we posted our story about Nev wanting to get her on the show.

From the looks of this side-by-side ... we'd say AG and Nev would make great co-hosts together. Helluva tease here -- now, make it happen please!!!

Nev Schulman says he's flattered to have an uber-famous fan, who also follows him on Instagram -- and now he'll get a trifecta ... IF he gets Ariana Grande to join him on "Catfish." And, yes ... he's saying there's a chance!!!

We got the host at LAX and when we asked if he has a celebrity wish list of guest cohosts ... he revealed something we didn't know about Ariana. Watch the clip ... Nev fanboys pretty hard for the "Sweetener" singer, even though he claims he originally played it cool when he reached out to her on IG.

Seems like whatever Schulman did worked, because he says she's interested in appearing on his show ... it's just a matter of making it happen.

As we reported ... Nev lost his longtime cohost, Max Joseph, last year when Max decided to pursue filmmaking full-time.

As far as replacements go ... safe to say Ariana would make a big splash.

Drake was where he's always been lately ... smack in the middle of all things Raptors.

Canada's NBA champs celebrated Friday into Saturday AM in a big way at the Wynn in Vegas.

Drake walked in cradling the trophy and then took the mic to ferociously pay homage to his team, all the while clutching a bottle of Dom.

The team, along with Champagne Papi, all wore championship hats.

Security swarmed the entire celebration, but at Encore Beach Club during the day, the only normies who were allowed in were women in bikinis.

The nighttime celebration went down at XS Nightclub at the Wynn hotel, where Drake has his residency.

As you know, the Raptors closed the book on the series in Game 6, beating the Warriors by a score of 114 to 110. Drake wasn't at the game, because it went down in enemy territory, plus there were security issues.

BTW ... Drake dropped 2 songs Friday night, but neither reference the Raptors or the NBA championship, but the cover art displays the championship trophy.

4:36 PM PT -- Blac Chyna is firing back at her baby daddy, Rob Kardashian, after he had his attorney sent a letter instructing her that their daughter, Dream, absolutely CANNOT appear on her new reality show, "The Real Blac Chyna" ... while taking some swipes at his own family at the same time.

She posted a lengthy statement Saturday, saying in part ... "Had Rob contacted me directly rather than through his attorney Marty Singer, Rob would have learned about Dream participation in the show."

She goes on to say that Dream was never going to be part of her show, and that she would never subject the kid to "long hours" on set. Further, she says she'd never let Dream be in the presence of the real drama that Chyna and her mom experienced while filming.

Chyna writes, "It is very unfortunate that Rob could not simply have an adult conversation with me 'the mother of his child,' Dream Kardashian, appearing on my show."

Then come the shots at the Kardashian family as a whole. Chyna went on to criticize the fact that Rob and co. have featured Dream on their own reality show, allegedly without ever consulting Chyna and seeing if she was good with it.

BC gets pretty nasty with her critique, writing ... "I also would have pointed out to Rob the hypocrisy of his family's insistence that Dream appear on 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' in the family's desperate attempt to boost the dismal ratings for their stale and contrived show, without my approval, including an entire scene being Dream's birthday party, again without my consent."

Chyna finished her thoughts by saying, "My show is about my life and my kids are a huge part of my life. It's really sad that everything I do to better myself or my family the same people have something to say to stop or hinder it."

Rob Kardashian's pumping the brakes on his 2-year-old daughter becoming a big TV star ... or at the very least he's making sure it doesn't happen on Blac Chyna's new reality show.

Rob's lawyer, legal pit bull Marty Singer, fired off a threatening letter to Chyna, telling her their daughter, 2-year-old Dream, CANNOT appear on her show, "The Real Blac Chyna," without Rob's consent, and he will NOT give consent.

As we reported, Rob and Chyna share 50/50 joint custody, and Singer says there's no way Dream's mother can turn a TV camera on Dream without Rob being on board.

According to the letter, Chyna sent Rob an appearance release for Dream to appear on the series, and he's not gonna sign.

We're told Rob has several reasons for withholding consent. He's seen all the drama with Chyna ... most recently, getting into a crazy fight with her former hairdresser while Dream was in the house and an explosive fight with her mom. We're told Rob feels her life is way too tumultuous and a reality show would just exacerbate the situation.

Beyond that, Rob's had his own experience with reality shows, and for the most part, the experience wasn't good. He doesn't want his daughter subjected to the long hours, the lights and the drama.

The letter ends with a threat to the network that's airing the show ... "Should The Zeus Network proceed with releasing any episodes of the Series or related materials containing Dream's likeness, it will be acting at its own peril and exposing itself to significant liability."
