That's Arsenio Hall telling "TMZ Live" why money is making him an even BETTER comic -- because he can do all the risky material he wants without the fear of getting choked out financially.

Long story short ... Hall says he spent years playing it safe because if he pushed the envelope and rubbed people the wrong way, he'd jeopardize his cash flow ... and when you're poor, EVERY DOLLAR COUNTS!!!

But, now that he's rich .... like super rich ... Hall ain't worried anymore -- saying he can say how he truly feels, no matter who he offends, because he can afford to take a hit!

"Comics are supposed to push the envelope and stretch that edge as far as you can," Hall says ... "That’s what creates great comedy. The great ones like Richard Pryor didn’t allow censors and critics stop him from doing what was in his heart."

Hall -- who's got a brand new Netflix special -- admits he needed to conform back in the day when he needed to buy a house and pay for school for his kids ... but he's paper'd up now.

"I’m kind of free!"

By the way, Hall also gave some inside info on the new "Coming to America" sequel -- and even throws out a spoiler to Nicole Murphy, whose daughter is in the flick!!

Adele isn't wasting any time getting out on the town and living her ultimate single life ... partying at Drake's birthday party with a hot new look.

The 31-year-old -- who filed for divorce from her husband last month -- was spotted in a black dress, striking a pose outside the Hollywood bash Wednesday. Drake had his party at Goya Studios ... and attendees included Snoop Dogg, Kylie Jenner and French Montana.

Adele and her hubby of 7 years, Simon Konecki, announced their split back in April but said they'd work together to lovingly raise their son together.

It wasn't until September when Adele filed divorce docs in L.A. ... the two kept their relationship mostly out of the spotlight since starting to date back in the summer of 2011. She gave birth to their son, Angelo, in October 2012. They tied the knot in a very secret ceremony, and she didn't confirm the union until 2017.

It's no surprise Adele had an invite to Drake's party, the two have a bit of a history. Adele attended a Drake show last year and raved about it. Drake replied, mentioning if he knew Adele was in the crowd, he would have been "SHOOK."

The two also spent a night together in L.A. earlier this year, hitting up a deli and a local bowling alley.

Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown is fresh off a brand new, $115 MILLION deal ... and if that's not sweet enough, the baller got a sick, $20k chain from his good buddy, A$AP Ferg!!

TMZ Sports has learned ... the "Floor Seats" rapper wanted to do something extra special for his friend's birthday, so he hit up Big Will at WS Jewelry and the guys collabed to make him a one-of-a-kind piece.

We're told the piece comes with 15 carats of natural green and white diamonds shaped in Ferg's signature logo ... and it's worth around $20k.

The back of the pendant also features Jaylen's jersey number, 7, and his name.

The video is awesome ... Ferg and Big Will were there to celebrate with Brown ... and the dude had a BIG smile on his face when they presented him with the present.

Rich Dollaz might want to think about changing his handle ... the "Love & Hip Hop New York" star just got busted for not paying child support ... again.

The Hudson County Sheriff's Office tells TMZ ... Rich Dollaz was arrested Thursday at his home in New Jersey and was booked for failure to pay child support. We're told Rich owes more than $125,000 to the mother of his child.

Police tell us Dollaz was processed at the jail and taken to Hudson County Family Court for a hearing. We're told Rich posted $20,000 bail with an agreement to start making monthly child support payments.

Child support issues are nothing new for Rich. As we've reported, the music exec got busted in October 2014 for owing $11k and again in February 2015 for owing nearly $200k.

Ted Danson has been arrested ... and it's exactly what he was gunning for.

The actor was handcuffed on Capitol Hill Friday during Jane Fonda's third "Fire Drill Fridays" ... a protest focusing on the perils of climate change.

Danson was one of the featured speakers, who addressed a hundred or so protesters before police descended. Jane, Ted and other protesters were arrested for unlawfully demonstrating ... presumably without permits.

Danson has deep roots in the movement. He wrote a book called "Oceana," which describes the environmental problems affecting the world's oceans, caused in part by offshore drilling.

During his speech he joked that he was "Jane's newest trainee," and also took a more serious moment to focus on Jane's movement. He said, "All of this is inconvenient. It's inconvenient for politicians to stop taking money from fossil fuels."

Felicity Huffman is out of prison -- EARLY, because she only served 11 days of her 14-day sentence.

She was released from the federal facility in Northern Cal early Friday morning. The scheduled release date was Sunday, but apparently there's a policy that inmates whose release date falls on a weekend get sprung the Friday before.

Felicity's still not finished with her sentence. She still has to perform 250 hours of community service. She's already paid the $30,000 fine in connection with her guilty plea in the college admissions scandal.

Mind you ... prosecutors initially were gunning for a year in prison for Felicity, which they scaled back to 4 months, and then one month. The Probation Dept. rebuffed prosecutors and said they'd be satisfied if she served no jail time.

Timing is everything.

Rep. Elijah Cummings had a spectacular send-off after a life well-lived, with former Presidents and other dignitaries singing his praises at his funeral.

Among the mourners ... Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden, Senator Kamala Harris and many others filled all the seats at the New Psalmist Baptist Church in Baltimore. Interesting and predictable ... Trump was a no-show, although we're guessing he wasn't invited.

The theme from all of the speakers -- Rep. Cummings was a powerful, moral voice in Congress and was a pillar of integrity. As you know, he has famously squared off with President Trump, sometimes expressing moral outrage over the conduct of The White House.

Cummings had been hospitalized and underwent some sort of medical treatment. His office said the Congressman passed due to "complications concerning longstanding health challenges."

As for his health issues, Cummings had been dealing with ill health for years, which included heart surgery.

Cummings was 68. RIP.

Halloween has officially hit Hollywood -- with massive parties to kick-off the holiday -- including star-studded events held by Paris Hilton and Dan Bilzerian.

Paris' party was held at a massive estate in Beverly Hills ... guests included Heidi Klum and her hubby, Kelly Osbourne, Paris Jackson and Ryan Phillippe. Paris was decked out in a super-hero worthy costume.

Bilzerian held his bash at a mansion in Bel Air with celeb buddies Diplo and Jason Derulo in attendance. The party even featured a neon haunted house for brave guests to walk through.

Jeremy Renner has come out swinging against the latest attack by his ex-wife, claiming she's a woman scorned and a liar who concocted grotesque allegations against him out of vengeance.

Renner claims in new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Sonni Pacheco went off the rails in 2015 when Jeremy made it clear ... he rebuked her overtures to resume their marriage. He says she then went on a vicious campaign, falsely accusing him of physically and sexually abusing their 6-year-old daughter, drugging her and being mentally unstable. He notes Children's Services cleared him of any wrongdoing.

In the legal docs, filed by Jeremy's lawyer, Susan Wiesner, he claims she manipulated a photo to make it appear he had shot a gun in his house while daughter Ava was sleeping. He says no such thing ever happened and the photo was "grossly doctored."

He calls her claim that he's a homicidal maniac "absolute nonsense."

As for Sonni's substance abuse allegations ... Jeremy calls BS. He says he's been submitting urine tests every other day, and every test has been clean. He says despite the fact he's not an addict, he's tried to placate Sonni by hiring a sober living coach and mentor.

He says there will be irreparable harm if Sonni gets her way and he's limited to supervised visitation. In fact, Jeremy wants Sonni to have supervised visitation because he believes she's unstable.

He notes he's been the one who takes care of Ava most of the time ... doting over her and comforting her when she's ill.

Slam a "mad dog" handle, run around naked, chug a beer and then "tag a car" with your genitals!!! Still want in?!?

It's all part of an alleged hazing incident at OU, according to newly released documents stemming from a University-wide investigation into several clubs, fraternities, sororities and even the marching band!!!

In short, the school believes it has a problem with aggressive hazing after receiving a ton of complaints, according to student outlet The Post.

TMZ Sports obtained the report that was submitted in October about the OU Men's Rugby Organization:

"A friend contacted me after being forced to drink a 'mad dog' handle, which is liquor then forced to run around naked then chug a beer and tag a car with his genitals.

"This is not the first time I’ve heard of forced drinking within the Rugby team. Or coerced drinking I should say."

The school has taken swift action against the rugby team -- ordering them to "cease and desist" from all organizational activities. In other words, they're suspended from operating.

The allegations against the fraternities are pretty bad too ... one complaint said a fraternity made blindfolded pledges sit in a basement while listening to the same song on repeat for hours.

Another allegation says Delta Tau Delta members forced pledges to carry pieces of fruit on their bodies at all times and if an active member saw them, they could smack the fruit out of their possession.

If they successfully knocked the fruit away, the pledge had to replace the piece with a larger fruit item the next day, progressing up to the size of a watermelon.

As for the marching band ... they allegedly forced new members to muddy up their band jackets and then wear them!!! Some people complained new members were pressured to drink alcohol. The allegations against the band are definitely not the worst.

Still, the Marching 110 was also ordered to cease and desist.

University officials have issued a statement saying the school is "committed to a safe and respectful campus environment that aligns with our institutional values of citizenship, civility, character, community, and commitment."

Kanye West is heavy into gospel now -- we all know that -- but bet you didn't know he's been talking to perhaps the most famous pastor in America ... Joel Osteen, and we've learned Ye may be making an appearance at Osteen's famous Sunday Service.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ, Kanye and Joel speak from time to time on the phone ... as recently as 2 weeks ago. We're told Joel has invited Kanye to take a trip to Houston and experience his megachurch, Lakewood, where 45,000 people show up to pray every week. The Sunday service reaches 100 MILLION homes in America and tens of millions more around the world.

We're told Ye told Joel he'd love to attend a service, and he wouldn't be the first celeb to do so. Oprah, Tyler Perry, the Clintons and many others have attended.

The question ... would Kanye perform at the service? Our sources say Joel never asked him because he didn't want to put Kanye on the spot ... BUT if Ye wants to sing, Joel would be thrilled.

We're told Joel genuinely likes Kanye and believes his life is rooted in faith and love. During their conversations, they talk a lot about faith and Joel's proud that Kanye has traversed his sometimes difficult journey, and has come out believing in a higher power.

If you're rich and a huge 'Star Wars' nerd ... GET YOUR WALLET READY!!!

The most-rare, sought-after, expensive 'Star Wars' collectible ever is about to hit the auction block -- a missile-firing Boba Fett action figure ... and it could fetch around $500,000!!!!

It's called the "Boba Fett J-Slot Rocket-Firing Prototype" -- it was debuted at the 1979 New York Toy Fair ... but never released to the public because officials at Kenner worried the "missile" could be a choking hazard for kids.

A revised version of the Boba Fett figure was released, but without the missile-firing function. Still cool, but not as fun! And, not nearly as valuable.

There are reportedly only around 25 of the rare J-Slot Fett's (with the rocket) in existence -- most of which are in bad shape -- and the good ones rarely go up for auction.

But, one has made its way to Hake's Auctions in New York where it's officially on the auction block ... and fans are FREAKING THE HELL OUT!

There have already been 13 bids on the item and the current price is $133k -- but the auction doesn't close until Nov. 7 and officials are expecting a bidding war to drive the price way up in the final days/hours.

In the past, rare Fetts have fetched anywhere between $80k and $150k -- and a similar piece was featured on "Pawn Stars" a few years back.

But, on the new auction site, Hake's estimates the value could reach $500,000 ... which is only slightly less than the $650k Mark Hamill was reportedly paid for starring in the original 'Star Wars' movie!

Worst QB sneak ever?

A 33-year-old man was arrested at the New England Patriots Hall of Fame exhibit Thursday after cops say he tried to smuggle a Tom Brady jersey out under his shirt.

The TB12 jersey was part of a locker room display -- and officials say it's valued around $10,000. There are reports the jersey was signed and game-used, but Patriots officials tell us that's NOT TRUE. It was just a display jersey.

Well, Zanini Cineus apparently wanted it for himself and allegedly tried to stuff the uniform under his shirt -- along with a glove from the exhibit -- and make a break for it.

But, officials say he SLIPPED during the attempted theft ... which alerted cops to his actions ... and they swarmed in to make the bust.

Cops say Cineus was WEARING the stolen jersey under his jacket when they found him.

Cineus was charged with larceny -- but pled not guilty ... although he reportedly admitted taking the jersey to officials and local reporters.

Of course, it's not the first time someone swiped a Tom Brady jersey ... Mauricio Ortega jacked Tom's game-worn jersey after Super Bowl 51 in 2017.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West hit the town in NYC as the second deadline for Ye's "Jesus is King" came and went ... but he says he won't sleep til it's out.

The couple attended the 2019 FGI Night of Stars Gala at Cipriani Wall Street Thursday -- earlier in the day, Kanye told fans his album was to drop at midnight -- and Kanye took to Twitter to address the missed release time.

Ye tweeted, "To my fans. Thank you for being loyal & patient. We are specifically fixing mixes on 'Everything We Need' 'Follow God' & 'Water.' We not going to sleep until this album is out!"

You'll remember ... back in August, Kim tweeted out a tracklist and said "Jesus is King" was to drop September 27 ... that date came and went without an album as well.

Kanye revealed a much different tracklist Thursday, with only 4 song titles still remaining from Kim's original list.

Nicki Minaj wanted a familiar face to help her tie the knot ... so she brought in her pastor from the other side of the U.S. of A. to officiate the ceremony.

Sources close to Nicki tell TMZ ... the singer flew out her pastor, Lydia Woodson-Sloley, from Brooklyn to Los Angeles for her nuptials with Kenneth Petty.

We're told Nicki and Pastor Lydia -- who fancies herself as a poet, author, Christian life coach and music producer -- go way back, so Nicki just had to have her as the wedding minister.

Lydia founded "Life in Its Poetic Form Christian Ministries" way back in 2000, and Nicki's a huge supporter of her work -- even thanking her in front of millions of people at the 2015 VMAs after accepting the award for best hip-hop video.

Nicki and Pastor Lydia also joined forces in 2017 to rebuild a village in India, making sure people there gained access to clean water.

We broke the story ... Nicki and Kenneth got hitched Monday in L.A. in a low-key ceremony, rushing to the altar because their marriage license was set to expire at month's end.

Nicki and Kenneth are following the blueprint of Justin and Hailey -- no-frills nuptials, followed by a church service and blowout celebration -- so it's a good bet Pastor Lydia will continue to be involved moving forward.

The MLB umpire who vowed to buy an AR-15 and declare a civil war if President Trump was impeached is now apologizing ... saying he didn't "realize the violence in those words."

Rob Drake -- who's been working MLB games since 1999 -- created a firestorm this week when he tweeted, "I will be buying an AR-15 tomorrow, because if you impeach MY PRESIDENT this way, YOU WILL HAVE ANOTHER CIVAL WAR!!! #MAGA2020."

Drake deleted the tweet ... but it was too late -- people were going crazy over it.

Now, after the MLB Umpires Association condemned the tweet, Drake has issued an apology ... acknowledging he screwed up big time.

"I want to personally apologize to everyone that my words made feel less safe," Drake said.

"I especially want to apologize to every person who has been affected by gun violence in our country."

"I also acknowledge and apologize for the controversy this has brought to Major League Baseball, my fellow umpires and my family. I never intended to diminish the threat of violence from assault weapons, or violence of any kind."

Drake continued, "I'm going to learn from this. Once I read what I had tweeted I realized the violence in those words and have since deleted it. I know that I cannot unsay the words, but please accept my sincerest apologies."
