A Vegas tycoon didn't like the odds of surviving a trip aboard the ill-fated Titanic submarine -- and his intuition saved his life.

Jay Bloom says he could have been a passenger on the OceanGate-owned Titan submarine that claimed the lives of 5 people after the vessel imploded during a voyage to see the remnants of the Titanic in the Atlantic Ocean.

OceanGate chief executive Stockton Rush even offered Bloom and his son a sweet discount from $250K to $150K per person -- but Bloom still blew it off, which, looking back now, was a life-saving decision.

In a Facebook post, Bloom shared text messages from February he traded with Rush about going on the Titanic expedition.

One text exchange showed how Bloom's son was clearly apprehensive about going on the voyage with Bloom stating, "My son's friend researched what could go wrong and put a little scare in him. He's excited to go, but concerned about the danger."

Arnold Schwarzenegger's youngest son pumped iron Thursday morning at the gym his old man made famous forty-five years ago, and then reminded us of the similar paths their lives have taken.

Joseph Baena visited Gold's Gym in Venice, which is the same spot featured in the 1977 documentary "Pumping Iron" that helped launch Arnold into superstardom. Photogs snapped a post-workout pic of Joseph just as he passed an enormous poster promoting a new Netflix documentary about Arnold's life.

It's a poignant moment ... 25-year-old Baena in front of a poster for a doc celebrating his father, reminding us all of the similar roads they’ve traveled. Like Arnold before him, Joseph overcame humble beginnings to make it big, first as a bodybuilder and now as an actor.

In fact, Joseph’s movie career is blowing up just like his dad’s did when he was in his 20s … the younger man starred in three projects in 2022 and has five more flicks due out in the next year.

Making the whole thing even more surreal… Joseph is the spitting image of his dad, whose smiling face is front and center in the poster behind him.

We got some pretty cool footage of Quavo Thursday completely shutting down the city's popular Rue Notre-Dame de Nazareth … and as you can see the superstar rapper drew hundreds of people out to see him in action.

With it being Paris Fashion Week and all, Quavo also introduced a new line of “Rocket Power” merch, so named in honor of his late nephew and collaborator Takeoff.

He’s been going hard with the hashtag “Rocket Power” on social … which furthers Takeoff’s legacy as well.

Quavo also occupied local boutique Le25Vintage and dropped a few new fiery tracks while joined by his brother YRN Lingo and crew.

The 5 passengers aboard the submersible that went missing while attempting to explore the Titanic wreckage are dead ... according to the expedition company.

OceanGate Inc. gave a statement Thursday, saying those aboard the Titan vessel "have sadly been lost" ... calling them "true explorers who shared a distinct spirit of adventure, and a deep passion for exploring and protecting the world's oceans."

Officials say they located a debris field about 1,600 feet from the bow of the Titanic wreckage. Within that debris field, there was 5 "major" pieces of debris discovered to lead them to believe the vessel imploded.

The announcement comes just hours after a debris field was spotted near the Titanic's wreckage Thursday, and experts quickly got to work on evaluating what they found ... while a friend of 2 of the missing men claimed it was a landing frame and rear cover of the vessel.

The 22-foot-long sub, dubbed Titan, was first reported missing Sunday evening by its parent company, OceanGate Expeditions. The org says it first lost communication with its deep-sea voyagers about a couple hours into their descent ... and flagged the authorities hours later when it failed to emerge to the surface when it was scheduled to.

Since then, the U.S. Coast Guard and even Canadian officials have engaged in a full-blown search and rescue effort -- deploying all sorts of teams and equipment in hopes of finding Titan ... not to mention its five occupants, including OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush -- who's said to have been piloting the submersible on this particular mission.

OceanGate offers tourism rides down to the Titanic for $250k a pop. The other people who were inside included British explorer Hamish Harding, researcher/diver Paul-Henri Nargeolet and Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood, as well as his son Suleman.

The sub is reported to have limited life support ... including only 96 hours worth of breathable air which would have run out Thursday morning.

Search crews detected banging noises over their sonars during the hunt on Tuesday in the Atlantic Ocean, going off in 30-minute intervals ... and according to CNN, an internal U.S. government memo says the noise would help assist the crew in finding the vessel.

OceanGates' technology for its submersible has also come under scrutiny in recent days. While parts of Titan were made with top technology, other elements -- including several components on the inside -- were revealed to have been comprised of makeshift consumer goods ... including gaming remote controls, basic light fixtures, and other simple parts.

Reports have indicated that a former employee of OceanGate once tried flagging what he claimed were safety concerns about Titan to his bosses in 2018 -- only to be allegedly fired after doing so ... at least according to a whistleblower complaint detailing his allegations.

Experts have said the likelihood of the passengers' survival was slim to none, considering the circumstances.

Even former Coast Guard Captain Andrew Norris filled us in on the multiple miracles that would be needed in order to ensure the passengers survived the terrifying incident.

People on the ground in Colombia who know the lay of the land tell us, ransom is currency in their country, and insurgents frequently target high-profile people for kidnapping.

As the kids recover physically and emotionally, government officials are trying to figure out who should care for them, and safety is a big factor.

You'd think their father would become the caregiver, but a bitter custody battle has exploded between the dad and the maternal grandparents. The grandparents claim the dad, Manuel Ranoque, was physically abusive toward the kids' mom, even striking her with a machete. The father tells TMZ he has never abused his late wife or the kids.

The four children who survived a plane crash in Colombia last month and then fended for themselves in the treacherous Amazon jungle for 40 days, actually hid from their rescuers ... TMZ has learned.

The kids -- ages 13, 9, 4, and 11 months -- were onboard a Cessna that crashed in a Colombian jungle nose first, killing their mom, the pilot, and another man. Their survival story is incredible, and the subject of a TMZ documentary -- "TMZ Investigates: The Miracle Children of the Amazon" -- which airs tonight on FOX at 8 PM ET.

TMZ has had boots on the ground in Colombia since June 9, when the kids were rescued. As we report in the doc, military GPS shows rescuers were in earshot of the kids days before they were rescued, but the children hid from them. We're told they feared the rescuers were actually insurgent forces that would kill them.

There are two survival stories here -- surviving in the jungle amid wild animals, snakes, poisonous bugs, and deadly fruit, and surviving the plane crash itself. As for how they survived the crash, three of them were in the back of the plane, which remained relatively intact. As for the infant, she was cradled by her mother, who cushioned the child during impact.

Amanda Bynes will be spending an extended period of time getting psychiatric care ... and her loved ones are concerned about her repeated cycle of breakdowns.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... once Amanda completes the mandatory 72-hour psychiatric hold -- which started last weekend -- she will be committed for at least another week while doctors work to stabilize her with medications and therapy.

We're told Amanda does well when she takes her medication, but she's stuck in a cycle that many folks with mental illness go through ... where they stop taking their meds once they feel better, leading to the next incident.

It's unclear if Amanda stopped taking her medication before she called police on Saturday, which led to her latest psychiatric hold.

Our sources say when Amanda was under her conservatorship, her mother Lynn was responsible for making sure she took her meds ... and she was always compliant. We're told medication was never an issue during that period.

Of course, that conservatorship ended in March 2022 ... and Amanda is now on her second psychiatric hold in 3 months, which is concerning to those around her.

We're told there isn't much Amanda's family and friends can do for her now, however, because of the judge's decision to terminate the conservatorship.

Our sources say it would be incredibly difficult, if not impossible, to bring a whole new conservatorship petition ... which would be heard in front of the same judge that ended Amanda's conservatorship.

Gross moment at Pierce Brosnan's house ... police say a man urinated and defecated in his neighbor's yard ... then got on the actor's property and used the laundry room to wash up.

Law enforcement tells TMZ ... L.A. County Sheriff's deputies rushed to Pierce's Malibu estate Monday afternoon after getting reports of a man on his and his neighbor's properties.

Deputies say the guy was seen using the neighbor's backyard as his own personal bathroom ... dropping a deuce and rocking a piss ... before rummaging around the garbage and then moving over to Pierce's place.

Cops say the man walked around Pierce's backyard before heading to the front ... and then he made his way inside a laundry room, apparently using the Brosnan's water to clean himself.

We're told the guy took off when cops rolled up, heading down toward the beach.

The guy didn't get far ... we're told a Sheriff's helicopter found the dude hiding in the rocks along the coast ... he was taken into custody and booked for burglary ... for stealing Pierce's water.

Cops say Pierce's wife, Keely, was home during all the commotion ... but it's unclear if the 'James Bond' star was there too.

Actor Ioan Gruffudd has put his ex-wife Alice Evans on blast in new legal documents ... claiming she set up fake Twitter accounts to bash his new relationship, and allegedly threatened him with a "Johnny Depp and Amber Heard" ending.

According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, Ioan says his time with Alice was nothing short of a nightmare -- starting with the claim that "a number of anonymous social media accounts" on the bird app would label Ioan and his girlfriend Bianca Wallace as "child abusers."

Ioan says Alice has "slipped up a number of times on these accounts," allegedly making it clear she's the one behind the harsh tweets.

BTW, their 13-year-old daughter Ella filed for a restraining order against Bianca earlier this month ... claiming she slammed a car door on her head and arm -- something Ioan's denying.

It doesn't stop at social media taunts, though ... Alice allegedly would scream at the actor -- even in front of Ella -- calling him an "abusive c***" and a "f***ing abuser." He says she even dumped milk on his and Bianca's bed -- writing "f***" over it with mustard.

Ioan even claims she threatened him by saying, "I'm going to tell my lawyer that you punched me last week. It's going to be like Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. It's not going to end well for you!"

For those unaware, Ioan filed for divorce from Alice in 2021 after the couple tied the knot back in 2007 ... although Alice later claimed he had a 3-year affair with Bianca while they were together.

Ioan went on to get a restraining order against Alice in 2022, claiming she was threatening to spread lies about him and destroy his career if he ever left her. The new docs say Alice has repeatedly broken the restraining order, however.

Queen Camilla might be shading Meghan Markle ... after word a potential Dior deal isn't happening for the Duchess, HRH just so happens to be proudly wearing that very brand. 🤔

The Queen was out and about Tuesday in Berkshire, England with King Charles for the opening of the Royal Ascot (a famed British horse race) ... which went down with a full-blown Royal procession -- complete with carriages and fancy outfits galore.

The King was suited and booted in a top hat, but all eyes were on wifey and her resplendent white coat, because it's a custom Dior design!

The timing's interesting ... coming one day after rumors were swirling that Meghan was on the verge of signing a mega-deal to become a new face of the design house.

We did some digging, and Camilla isn't known as a regular Dior consumer -- meaning, she doesn't tend to wear it all that often. Sooo ... subtle jab?

As you know, Meghan's relationship with the Royals has been rocky since she and Prince Harry left the institution and came to the U.S. ... eventually trashing Harry's fam over and over again.

One last thing ... we've spoken to some Dior sources on the ground, and they tell us what Camilla was sporting Tuesday is actually a custom suit, and won't be available to commoners, just in case you got it like that.

The clock's ticking for rescuers to find the 5 people missing on a sub aimed at exploring the Titanic wreckage ... but that's not stopping the stepson of one of the passengers from enjoying his favorite band, Blink-182.

British billionaire explorer, Hamish Harding, is among those onboard OceanGate Expeditions' Titan, a carbon-fiber submersible. Harding's stepson, Brian Szasz, posted about Harding's disappearance on Facebook Monday ... writing, "Hamish my stepdad is lost in a submarine thoughts and prayers that the rescue mission will be successful."

Just a few minutes after posting about the rescue mission, Brian revealed he was attending a Blink-182 show in San Diego, posting a pic of himself outside the venue.

Clearly recognizing some people might take it the wrong way, Brian writes, "It might be distasteful being here but my family would want me to be at the Blink-182 show as it’s my favorite band and music helps me in difficult times!♥️🙏🏽"

As we reported, OceanGate lost communication with Titan almost 2 hours into its journey down to the wreckage. The submersible has a 96-hour emergency supply of oxygen onboard -- which has likely dwindled to about 40 hours remaining.

It's not yet known where the Titan is, or whether the 5 on board are even alive.

Bam Margera's son Phoenix is inspiring him to detox and sober up following a psych hold ... and his estranged wife is allowing him to talk to their kid again.

Nikki Margera's attorney, David Glass, tells TMZ ... she's given the green light for Bam and Phoenix to start communicating, and they're talking over FaceTime while Bam's in rehab.

We're told Bam's FaceTime sessions with Phoenix are being modulated by one of Bam's therapists ... and, so far, things are going well.

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... Bam is still in treatment at one of Lamar Odom's rehab facilities, and Nikki is not talking to him on the FaceTime calls.

There's been a lot of bad blood between Bam and Nikki ever since she filed for legal separation, including a series of angry texts Bam recently sent her, so it's not a surprise she's staying off the calls.

Our sources say Bam usually dominates the FaceTime convos with 5-year-old Phoenix, with Dad typically going on for about 5 minutes.

Some of the questions ... Why did the children hide from rescuers? Were they political pawns in a conflict between insurgent forces and the government of Colombia? Why did the President of Colombia announce the kids were found 2 weeks before the rescue, and then take it back? And why is there now a bitter custody war over the kids?

7:16 AM PT -- 6/20 -- KT Smith took to Instagram and shared that the dog, Legend, was dropped off to a new family that lives on a farm, where he will live out the rest of his life.

She wrote, "I couldn't have asked for a better family for him to be loved on by. and they're east Tennesseans so we can visit any time we need to. Thank you guys again, for helping but for also crying with me and lifting me up."

Morgan Wallen's son Indigo took a dog bite to the face ... and now the boy's mother is looking to rehome the pooch.

The country music star's baby mama, KT Smith, says her Great Pyrenees bit the two-year-old child she shares with Morgan, and the kid needed stitches.

Morgan's ex says the dog, Legend, is a rescue ... and she doesn't want to put the dog down, as some are suggesting.

KT, who lives in the Nashville area, says she is instead looking to rehome Legend with a family that has a lot of land and no small children.

The dog-biting incident happened Sunday and KT says her pup had never shown aggression before. Still, she says she just can't keep the dog in the house knowing her and Morgan's son may be traumatized.

As for Morgan's kid, Indigo's mom says he will be OK ... though he may come out of this with a scar.
