TAKING A SWING

1:02 PM PT -- Sources close to Slim Jxmmi tell TMZ that the guy Slim swung on in the DJ booth was a lighting guy that had gotten into it with Rae Sremmurds own personal DJ (who we're told wasn't actually DJ'ing for the night) prior to the altercation ... and that Slim was just defending his own dude. Our Slim Jxmmi sources say it had nothing to do with being mad about a song not being played ... it was simply retaliation for a lighting guy getting handsy with his crew.

We're being told differently by other people that were there -- who insist the guy with the hat who Slim Jximmit jumped on was, in fact, the DJ for the night ... not a lighting guy. Our sources say there was some sort of verbal back and forth between him and Slim right before the fight broke out.

Slim Jxmmi wasn't about to stand for a DJ blatantly refusing to play a song he'd requested -- but he would fly for it ... right into the guy's booth with a clenched fist.

The Rae Sremmurd rapper got into it with an amateur DJ Saturday night during a paid gig at the University of North Florida's OZFEST Spring concert. In footage of the altercation, obtained by TMZ, you can see SJ leap into the DJ's area and start swinging.

Eyewitnesses tell us Slim was pissed the DJ wouldn't play a song he'd asked him to play during the performance, and that he and the guy even went back and forth a bit before this blowup.

We're told it was quickly broken up, and cops weren't called either. After Slim Jxmmi cooled down backstage for about 15 minutes, our sources say he actually reemerged to finish his set alongside his brother, Swae Lee, who was also there but didn't perform.

And, get this ... the DJ finished the set too! We're told everything carried on like normal afterward. So it was seemingly a happy ending.

ALTERCATION IN AUCKLAND

This isn't Slim Jxmmi's first dust-up BTW -- he was involved in a violent street brawl down in New Zealand just earlier this year ... where a woman appeared to be part of the battle.

A word of advice to Young Slim ... chill, bro.

NO NEED TO FIGHT

Tito Ortiz is coming out of retirement and will fight MMA this year ... we know, deja vu all over again.

TMZ Sports saw Tito -- who last retired days after dominating Chuck Liddell in November (a fight he came out of retirement for) -- at LAX earlier this week ... and we asked him about Conor McGregor hanging up his gloves.

That's when Tito dropped some retirement news of his own ... as in, he's comin' back.

"I'll probably fight in October," Ortiz told us.

"After I fought Chuck last year, I thought it was gonna be my last one. But, my body's intact, everything's fast, everything's great. Sparring's been good. Training's been great. So, let's do one for fun."

So, who's The Huntington Beach Bad Boy fighting?

Tito couldn't say 'cause the deal ain't official, yet ... but we're told it could be signed, sealed and delivered within days.

NBA YoungBoy Officially Charged in ATL Drug Case

Published | Updated

NBA YoungBoy has officially been charged in his weed case ... and it could have a serious impact on a separate and ongoing criminal case.

The rapper was charged with 2 misdemeanors -- possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and disorderly conduct -- stemming from a case back in February in Atlanta ... this according to court records obtained by TMZ.

As we first reported ... YB was busted along with a female companion, Starr Thigpen, after he allegedly ordered her to get housekeeping out of a room that was supposed to be unoccupied. Starr allegedly struck one of the maids in the face before cops arrived and arrested both of them.

Here's where things could get tricky for YB ... as we first reported, the rapper was indicted in Waycross, GA back in March 2018 for allegedly beating the hell outta his then-GF. One of the charges he faced was felony kidnapping.

We've reached out to the Waycross D.A.'s office to see if the new misdemeanor charges will impact the 2018 case, for which YB's currently out on bond. We do know this much ... YoungBoy has a status conference in front of the judge in the kidnapping case next week.

WWE Superstar Seth Rollins Rips Brock Lesnar Nobody Wants You In WWE!!!

IN IT FOR HIMSELF

Seth Rollins says Brock Lesnar is SELFISH and everyone is sick of him ... and 'cause of that, NOBODY wants him in WWE.

TMZ Sports talked to Rollins -- who's fighting Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 35 -- in NYC Friday night ... and there is absolutely ZERO love between the 2 superstars.

"He's not in it for anybody but himself. So, Brock Lesnar, he will tell you to your face that he is in this industry, he's in any industry, for himself to make his own money,"

"That's not what I'm about. I'm about giving back to a business I love, that has given me so much."

Still, Seth says even though Lesnar's a jerk ... he's a massive draw for fans.

"He's a box office attraction and everybody knows that. The problem is, he knows that as well, and he takes advantage of it every step of the way. So, he doesn't contribute to the locker room. He doesn't give anything back."

That's why, according to Rollins ... Lesnar -- who is an AMAZING athlete -- is persona non grata in the organization.

"I admire Brock Lesnar from a fighters perspective, from an athletes perspective. He's incredible. The way he trains for his fights. His mindset going in. He's a specimen unlike any other, and that's why he's able to do what he does."

"But, he doesn't inspire people, man. And, you need a champ who does that."

Will Rollins be that guy? We'll find out Sunday.

THE FANS WANT TO SEE IT

Great news for Shawne Merriman ... if Batista is too busy to take him up on his fight offer, there's another WWE superstar willing to take his place -- Bobby Lashley!!!

As we previously reported .... the ex-NFL All-Pro linebacker is getting into the MMA game with his own promotion, Lights Out Xtreme Fighting ... and called out Dave freakin' Bautista for a fight in the process.

TMZ Sports spoke to Lashley about the potential matchup ... and while he thinks that's cool and all, Bobby's got a better opponent in mind ... himself!!!

"Shawne Merriman, if he wanted to do it, sure. Call me up. I'll train, I'll fight. I would do it."

Look, Bobby ain't a scrub -- not only is he a wrestling champ, but he's also got a 15-2 career record in MMA.

So ... you still think this is a good idea, Shawne???

WWE Superstar Alexa Bliss I Want Winner ... Of Ronda, Becky & Charlotte

Published | Updated

Lookout Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair ... 'cause the prize for winning the triple threat match at WrestleMania is 5x WWE champ, Alexa Bliss.

TMZ Sports got Bliss -- who's hosting WrestleMania 35 -- out in NYC on Friday ... and it was clear, even though she ain't competing this weekend, she's keeping a very close eye on the headlining match.

"My plan is, ya know, whoever wins that women's main event, that's who I got my eyes on," Bliss tells us.

We asked Alexa who she wanted to win the historic match ... and cue the shade.

"Charlotte Flair is who I'm rooting for, and that's who I want to happen. Because, ya know, I feel like with the story and how everything is going on, the other 2, ya know, have gotten a little cocky, and I feel like the queen is the one who can humble them."

Bliss against any of the WWE superstar women would be a big deal ... she's been out of the squared circle for a minute after sustaining a concussion late last year.

But, she clearly seems ready to return in a big, big way.

We also talked to Sheamus and Cesaro aka The Bar -- the 5x WWE tag team champs -- who gave us their take on the best tag team EVER.

Hint, it's them.

Chance the Rapper Bodyguard Sued Alleged Beatdown Caught on Video

Published | Updated

Chance the Rapper's bodyguard allegedly unleashed a can of whoop-ass -- caught on surveillance video -- and now the guy on the receiving end is suing.

Travis Montgomery is suing the rapper's muscle, claiming Star Thomas beat the hell outta him in August 2017 after a verbal exchange inside the lobby of the W Hotel in Chicago. Montgomery says the incident was even more violent considering Thomas's size ... 6 foot 4 and about 300 pounds, according to the suit.

In the docs, obtained by TMZ, Montgomery says Thomas had blocked him from jumping inside an elevator earlier in the day, because Chance was aboard. Montgomery says he ran into Chance's entourage again later in the day -- and that's when things got violent in the lobby.

Montgomery claims Thomas grabbed him by the neck, pushed him violently into a wall and held him by his neck, choking him. You can see it all play out in the video.

As we first reported ... cops were called to the scene and Thomas was booked for misdemeanor simple battery. Montgomery, who's hired attorney Tim Tomasik ... also has beef with the hotel for having inadequate security.

He's suing the W and Thomas for damages.

Tyron Woodley Clowns Trump 'I Want To Fight Your Hair'

Published | Updated

Forget a Kamaru Usman rematch ... Tyron Woodley says the fight he REALLY wants is with Donald Trump's hair!!!

"Dana, set it up. Tyron Woodley versus Donald Trump's hair, UFC whatever the f**k."

OKAY, Woodley's just playin' around ... but it doesn't make his rant over Trump's hair any less HILARIOUS!!!

The UFC superstar was cruising through his TV channels when Trump popped up ... signature hairdo on full display for the cameras.

Woodley's reaction? "What the f**k are you doing, bruh?"

Tyron continued, "He should wear a bandanna, man. It's terrible. It's so f**king horrible. I hate your hair, man. I don't know you, but I hate your hair. I want to fight your hair."

For his part, Trump knows the look ain't exactly great ... the Prez admitted during a speech last year, "I try like hell to hide that bald spot, folks. I work hard on it!!"

HAIR'S WHAT'S GOIN' ON ...

As for Tyron ... he's reportedly agreed to rematch Robbie Lawler in late June.

So, Trump's hair is safe from Woodley ... for now.

Justin Gaethje I'll Knock Conor McGregor's Ass Out ... In Ireland!!!

KNOCK HIM INTO RETIREMENT

Conor McGregor appears unretired from fighting ... and Justin Gaethje tells TMZ Sports he BADLY wants to be locked in a steel cage with The Notorious.

But, does Conor want to fight him? Gaethje says nah, doubt it.

"[Conor's] a warrior. I know that it would intrigue him for sure. But, I also think his mind would be like, 'no, thank you.'"

"He can't take my leg kicks. If I wanted to wrestle him, I could wrestle him all day. And, I could knock him out. The last thing he needs to be is f**king on his back reaching for the sky and I will, I could do that to him."

Gaethje's coming off a crazy impressive performance ... he starched Edson Barboza -- one of the scariest dudes in the UFC -- with a vicious right hook in the 1st round last weekend.

Earlier in the week, JG -- the 5th ranked UFC lightweight -- told us he wanted the Holloway-Poirier winner and then Khabib ... but when he was in the TMZ offices on Thursday, clearly things done changed.

"I wanna fight [Conor]. I wanna fight him in Ireland. I know it's not gonna happen in Ireland, but that's my dream. To go over there and be in that sorta chaos. That's what f**king wakes me up every day."

"I'm going out there. I'm gonna stand. I'm gonna stand, I'm gonna knock him out. If he wants to retire, I can help him on his way out."

Conor-Gaethje would be a sick fight ... both guys have great power in their hands and ain't afraid to stand toe-to-toe and mix it up.

"I just gotta touch him once. Both of us have that skill to where we just gotta touch you 1 time. So, who f**king knows, this is a crazy sport."

Becky Lynch Ronda Rousey Will Retire From WWE ... If She Loses At Mania

I CAN TAKE A BEATING

Ronda Rousey will straight-up QUIT the WWE if she loses to Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania this weekend ... so says The Man herself.

"She won't be able to hack it," Becky said of Ronda on "TMZ Live" ... "She won't be able to take it. She won't be able to look defeat in the face and say I can come back from this."

Becky says this has actually been her plan for MONTHS ... saying she's allowed Ronda to build up wins just so she can be the one that beats her and forces her to quit fighting for good.

"When Ronda feels untouchable, that's when she gets put to sleep. That's when she gets knocked out."

"And, we all know what happens to Ronda when that happens, she goes and she cries under her blankey for a year or whatever."

Becky added, "The only thing she knows how to do is either be invincible or be gone." She also had a lot more to say about the women's revolution in WWE, and being the main event at Wrestlemania. Tune in for Friday's TMZ Live to see why The Man saw this coming years ago.

BTW, if you think Becky is just talking trash? Maybe not, 'cause Ronda did tell us when we got her out in NYC this week that Wrestlemania 35 is "a do-or-die moment" for her.

The match is set to go down Sunday night ... could it really be Ronda's last in the squared circle?!?

Kit Harington Snow Joke, Dude Can Throw a Punch

Published | Updated

Kit Harington absolutely HATES that he was born on Boxing Day, but ya can't hate on him for squaring up like a champ in the ring.

The "Game of Thrones" star worked up a sweat at a gym Thursday in NYC ... where he was attending a boxing class with a buddy, but clearly the spotlight belonged to him. Kit -- aka Jon Snow -- started off looking like a newbie but didn't take long before finding his rhythm.

Check out the pics and this vid ... his right hook's got potential.

BLOWIN' OFF STEAM

It's a big weekend for Kit ... he's also hosting 'SNL' this weekend. As we reported ... the entire cast got together Wednesday for a huge 'GoT' bash also in the Big Apple. Kit, of course, was there looking dapper as hell in an all-black ensemble.

BTW ... Kit hates Boxing Day -- the day after Christmas in the UK -- because there's nothing more annoying than the dual birthday-Christmas gift. December babies know what we're talking about.

Also, Boxing Day's got nothing to do with the sport. Look it up.

Kelvin Gastelum Chill Conor & Khabib Somebody's Gonna Get Shot

Published | Updated

If Conor & Khabib don't chill out with their vicious and very serious beefing, someone's gonna get seriously hurt ... as in shot ... so says UFC star Kelvin Gastelum.

Khabib and Conor have been going at it on social media lately, after McGregor lobbed what some thought was an anti-Muslim insult directed at Khabib, prompting Khabib to launch an ultra disrespectful clap back.

We got UFC Star Kelvin Gastelum -- who was in L.A. promoting his UFC 236 title fight against Israel Adesanya -- and he says if the rhetoric from both men has the potential to end up tragic.

"I think there are some lines that have been crossed, and it's escalating to a point where it shouldn't have to. I feel like if it keeps going the way it's going, somebody's gonna end up injured, somebody's gonna end up hurt, somebody's gonna end up shot."

Kelvin is 100% serious and you can hear it in his voice, he told our camera guy he believes there's only so much Khabib and his side will take.

"Khabib don't play no games, man. This is real life for him."

We should say, Conor seemed to apologize for his statements on Twitter yesterday, along with a pledge to be better in the future. But, is Khabib accepting it?

Let's hope so.

Jack Osbourne Savagely Attacked At L.A. Coffee Shop

Published | Updated

Jack Osbourne is the victim in a coffee shop attack -- his morning cup of Joe was brutally interrupted when a random stranger delivered a blow to his head in a totally unprompted attack.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Jack was at a coffee shop Wednesday in Studio City where he was sitting on the sidewalk patio. We're told someone who appeared to be homeless came out of nowhere and sucker punched Jack on the right side of his head. Jack, who had his back to the street, got up and threw his coffee at the guy ... who then ran away.

Our sources say cops were called and they found the attacker, who struggled with cops and needed to be tazed to calm the hell down. The suspect was ultimately arrested for battery and assault.

A rep for Jack tells us he is doing just fine.

The attack comes on the heels of Jack and his now ex-wife, Lisa, finalizing their divorce ... rather amicably too.

About a month ago, they reached a settlement that saw Jack pay Lisa a $1 million lump sum ... while he got to keep a bunch of their artwork.

They're sharing legal and physical custody of their 3 kids.

Ronda Rousey WrestleMania Is Do-Or-Die For Me

DO-OR-DIE MOMENT

Ronda Rousey says WrestleMania is a "DO-OR-DIE MOMENT" for her ... that's how seriously the WWE superstar is taking her soon-to-be, history-making match.

TMZ Sports saw Rousey out in NYC on Thursday ... and asked her about the first ever all-female Mania main event against Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair.

We also asked Ronda about her post-Mania plans ... 'cause there's been a lot of speculation from wrestling fans about Rousey's future -- but let's just say she's ultra-focused and pumped for WM.

And, judging by the crazy crowds around Ronda ... so are the people.

So, Ronda and the fans are psyched ... but how do other WWE stars feel about the historic event?

We also talked to Kofi Kingston -- WWE superstar and member of the 5x tag team champion trio The New Day -- about his WM35 match with Daniel Bryan.

"It's gonna be difficult because as much of a jerk as Daniel Bryan is, he's actually very good in the ring. Probably one of the best, maybe one of the best of all-time. But, I feel like I do have momentum on my side."

It's one of the most anticipated matches of the night ... so, we asked Kofi if he believes it should be the main event.

But, he's fully on-board with Rousey, Flair and Lynch making history.

"The women have done such an amazing job," Kofi says ... "They deserve everything that they are getting right now to be in the main event."

"I'm so proud of all of them, and I can't wait to watch."

Shawne Merriman Challenges Batista To MMA Fight ... I'll Be Ready!!!

GIVE THEM WHAT THEY WANT

Ex-NFL star Shawne Merriman wants to get in a cage and beat the living hell outta someone ... and that person??? It's wrestling superstar Batista.

YES, Merriman wants to fight Dave Bautista ... the WWE legend turned Hollywood star in a real deal MMA fight.

"He looks good, man. I know that people will watch that," Merriman tells TMZ Sports.

"I know people wanna see that. If he was down to do it, I would do it in a second. I wouldn't even question that one."

Shawne knows Bautista's a busy guy -- he's fighting Triple H at Wrestlemania 35 this weekend and he's currently working on numerous films -- but still thinks they can make the fight happen.

"I know he's got other stuff going on, but why not give the people something they want to see."

The reason why we're even talking about this ... the former All-Pro linebacker just launched his own MMA promotion -- Lights Out Xtreme Fighting -- and he's seriously considering taking his first fight.

Thing is, 6'4", 265 lb. Bautista ain't ONLY a wrestler and actor -- he's actually won a pro fight -- and he still trains (peep this).

040319_hans_molenkamp_kal
GOOD FORM

But, don't get it twisted ... Shawne ain't a chump. He's 34 (16 years younger than 50-year-old Batista) ... and he's a freak of an athlete.

Oh, and he's also 6'4", 265 lbs.

So, what's Shawne's message to Dave?

"Hey Batista, if you're watching this dude, we're both from the DMV area. I got mad love and respect for you. I know you been around the game a long time, and people wanna see it. Come on. I'll be ready."

Will Smith S*** Gets Real for 'Bad Boys' Fight ... Hold the Stunt Double!!!

Published | Updated

Will Smith's kicking ass in Miami ... 'cause he wouldn't be a true bad boy if he let a stunt double handle all the fight scenes!

Will did a little shadow boxing Wednesday to warm up for this "Bad Boys for Life" shoot. The scene goes down on the balcony of a hotel ... and from the look of things, nothing -- and we mean NOTHING -- was stopping Will.

Well, maybe a little lint that got in his eye.

But, seriously ... dude's winning at life and putting all dad bods to serious shame with his sharp fighting skills. Those 'Ali' moves still seem fresh in Will's mind -- as his foe in the motorcycle helmet will attest.

Big Willie was still his fun-loving self, though ... taking time to goof around with his stand-in and the crew.

Will and Martin Lawrence -- aka Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett -- have been shooting scenes since January for 'BB4L,' which comes out next year. Looks they haven't missed a step since the last sequel, 16 years ago.
