NFL's Derrius Guice Running (Super Fast) Again ... After Serious Knee Injury

Kid looks like he's A-okay now though, just posting a video of him running full speed with both resistance and no resistance, absolutely killing both sprints.
Guice was supposed to be a huge part of Washington's offense this year, with many expecting him to push Saquon Barkley as the best running back in the rookie class.

Susan Lucci Survived 90% Heart Blockage ... 'I'm Lucky to Be Alive'
Legendary soap star Susan Lucci now knows just how close she was to checking out -- and says it was only emergency heart surgery that saved her from a massive and likely fatal heart attack.
The "All My Children" actress went public with the terrifying story this week, saying she had to have two stents installed in October after a CT scan showed her aorta had 90 percent blockage, while another artery was blocked at 70 percent. Her doctor told Susan she barely avoided a future heart attack by coming in when she did.
She's now teaming up with the American Heart Association to spread awareness of heart disease and getting testing.

EXCLUSIVE

Edie McClurg, the beloved actress from "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," is battling dementia ... according to family and friends who say they're trying to protect her from a guy who's allegedly taking advantage of her.
Edie's niece, cousin and friend filed docs Friday requesting a conservatorship to take control of the actress' affairs. In the docs, obtained by TMZ, they say neurological tests revealed she's no longer able to live alone without assistance, and is "especially vulnerable to undue influence given her poor judgment and evident dementia."
Their immediate concern is with a longtime male friend who's lived with 72-year-old Edie for several years. According to docs, the guy has previously talked about marrying Edie ... who famously played Principal Rooney's assistant, Grace, in 'Ferris Bueller,'
Edie's family and friends don't think she's capable of understanding the relationship with the guy. They claim he's been verbally abusive and tried to compel her to sign documents to change her estate planning.
They're asking the court to appoint one of them -- Edie's cousin, Angelique Cabral -- the conservator.
Edie's also famous for roles in "Planes, Trains & Automobiles," "Small Wonder" ... and for her voice work in "Frozen" and "The Little Mermaid."

Kathy Ireland Joins NFL Players Association ... Lobbying for CBD
Will Kathy Ireland be the one who finally convinces the NFL to green light CBD???
She hopes so ... and now she's in a real position to make it happen.
The former supermodel-turned-business mogul has joined the board of NFL Players Inc. -- a wing of the NFL Players Association.
Kathy has become a real force in the fashion and beauty world over the years -- her kathy ireland Worldwide brand has made BILLIONS of dollars in revenue, landing her on the cover of Forbes twice.
Now that she's working with the NFLPA, her main focus will be advising the org. in matters of marketing and advertising ... but it's obvious she's also passionate about bringing CBD to the NFL.
Ireland has a line of CBD wellness products and, when we spoke with her at LAX, she told us she thinks NFL players could really benefit.
"The CBD that we work with, we're seeing great results," Ireland said.
Ireland says she does NOT use THC in her products -- the property in marijuana that makes people get high -- and says that's a big deal that a lot of people just don't understand.
"I think it's misunderstood by a lot of people so it's fortunate to have the opportunity to educate people on what it's about."
Tons of former and current athletes have lobbied hard for allowing CBD in pro sports -- and it seems like it's just a matter of time before one of the main leagues gives it the thumbs up.

Camille Kostek Modeling Agencies Told Me to Lose Weight ... Gronk Said Don't!
Rob Gronkowski's smokin' hot GF says modeling agencies pressured her to drop serious weight in order to get gigs ... but the NFL superstar urged her to not give in to their demands.
Camille Kostek said Gronk made her realize she shouldn't have to conform to the crazy, unrealistic standards in traditional modeling ... and it turned out to be some of the best advice she's ever gotten.
"He had seen me get rejected by a lot of agencies," Kostek said on Mark Dohner's "Livin' Large" podcast ... explaining how she was sometimes told to lose 15 pounds in 3 weeks or to shed inches off her thighs in order to be considered for jobs.
"I was like, I just don't want to do that. [Gronk] was like, 'Do you even want a body like that?' And I was like, 'No.' And he was like, 'Yeah, I don't even want you to be like that.'"
Turns out, it was great advice -- the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition tapped Kostek to be a rookie model in 2018, and her career has exploded ever since.
And now, those same agencies that wanted her to starve herself are probably begging for a callback. How's that for karma?!
There's a bunch more in the interview ... Camille also talks about her time as a Patriots cheerleader ... and how she linked up with Christian Yelich for the California Strong campaign for the CA wildfires and Borderline Bar shooting.

NFL's Brandon Browner Blames CTE For Attempted Murder Conviction
Ex-NFL star Brandon Browner wants his conviction overturned in his attempted murder case -- and he's playing the CTE card at the advice of his new attorney, famed O.J. Simpson prosecutor, Chris Darden.
Remember ... back in December, Browner pled no contest to attempted murder for brutalizing his ex-girlfriend in front of her two children. He was sentenced to 8 years in prison.
Browner has since fired his old lawyer and brought on Darden -- who claims the NFL star got screwed because the old attorney didn't realize Browner wasn't mentally fit to cop a plea.
In court docs obtained by TMZ Sports, Browner claims he's been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and PTSD and wasn't on his proper meds during his original hearing.
7/30/18
Browner also claims he can't fully concentrate or focus -- and a forensic psychologist believes this could be the result of CTE caused by the numerous hits he sustained during his 11-year NFL career.
Now, Darden and Browner are begging the judge to throw out the conviction and enter a new plea -- presumably, a not guilty plea -- so he won't spend the next 8 years behind bars.
Browner's case is set to go before a judge in March.

Robert Kraft Josh Gordon's a 'Real Good Guy' ... But Addiction Is Real
New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft says the team was seriously committed to helping Josh Gordon beat his addiction issues ... but they realized real quick, the problems were way too serious.
Robert and his son, Jonathan (who's the president of the Patriots) spoke about the troubled WR on "Boston Sports Tonight" ... calling Gordon a "real good guy" with incredible potential.
The Patriots signed Gordon in Sept. knowing full well his history with substance abuse -- but figured they could give him a support system to overcome his demons.
27-year-old Gordon crushed it for the Pats until Dec. -- when he was suspended by the league after reportedly falling off the wagon, and failing another drug test.
"Unfortunately, people like that need mentoring at a young age," Robert said.
"But, when it becomes addiction, addiction is something that is way beyond our ... we gave him tremendous support on a daily basis, and he was worthy. But, I think we as a society have to try to help these young people not to get addicted in the first place."
"And, that's the sad part of this. He's a good guy -- a really good guy. It makes us sad."
Jonathan echoed his father's sentiments ... saying Gordon clicked with his teammates, had a great work ethic and could have been a key contributor in the playoffs -- if he could have stayed clean.
"This wasn't a troublemaker in the locker room," Jonathan said ... "Unfortunately, he had some personal demons."
"As a person and as a teammate, he was beloved in the locker room. And, I'm sure if you ask guys this week, they would tell you they wish he was here with us. He was not a guy that was disruptive or a problem."
Both Jonathan and Robert believe Gordon's issues run very deep -- and his story is a wake-up call about how to prevent addiction in the first place.
"He didn't grow up with any support system," Jonathan added ... "He saw other people doing it, and it gets back to the original way we grew up."
"And, that doesn't mean people don't get addicted from all walks of life -- but you get exposed to it in a whole different way when you come from where Josh Gordon came from. He is a very good kid."
The Patriots are reportedly paying for Gordon's treatment while away from the team -- and if they win the Super Bowl, Gordon is expected to get a ring.

Tennis superstar Andy Murray says he's in some serious pain after undergoing hip surgery in London early Monday morning -- but even worse ... the guy thinks he's fat.
The 31-year-old Wimbledon champ has been in so much pain from his messed up hip over the past 2 years that he's considered retiring from tennis if the doctors can't fix him up.
So, he went under the knife on Monday -- and seems to be optimistic.
"I underwent a hip resurfacing surgery in London yesterday morning...feeling a bit battered and bruised just now but hopefully that will be the end of my hip pain," Murray said.

Patriots Mascot Dealing With Jaw, Neck Injuries ... From Jamal Adams Tackle
The New England Patriots team mascot says he was REALLY hurt when he was unexpectedly tackled by NY Jets safety Jamal Adams at a Pro Bowl practice ... and is now dealing with pain in his neck and back.
It all went down on Wednesday in Orlando -- where Adams told fans he was "finna go knock this mascot out" before launching himself at the mascot, knocking the guy to the ground.
The man inside the costume sought medical attention after the incident -- and now Ian Rapoport says the guy is still "dealing with jaw, neck, and back soreness."
Rapoport says the mascot was also checked for a concussion -- but despite his condition, the man is still planning on going to Atlanta to cheer on the Patriots at the Super Bowl
As for Adams, he had previously issued a statement saying he did NOT regret the tackle -- even though the NFL had been contacting him to talk about the incident.
Here's the obvious concern for Adams ... if the mascot suffered real injuries, he's probably going to sue Adams -- who's currently playing in a 4-year, $22.2 million contract.
Adams didn't seem too bothered by the situation while playing in the Pro Bowl on Sunday -- where he won the defensive MVP award as his AFC squad beat up on the NFC in a 26-7 victory.
We've reached out to Adams for comment -- so far, no word back.

Prince Philip Riding Shotgun and Wearing Seat Belt ... Tells Accident Victim He's Sorry
Prince Philip was being driven around town Saturday, and he finally buckled up ... and he also tried explaining away his car crash.
The Duke of Edinburgh was seen being driven through the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk. The Duke had attended a post-shoot lunch with HRH The Queen and guests.
Philip also sent a letter to the woman who broke her wrist in the car accident earlier this month. Philip says in the letter he's sorry for the crash and blames it on blinding sun that obscured his view of the road.
Philip makes it clear he's traveled that road many times without incident. The subtext seems to be he's still capable of driving safely, even at 97.
He also explains why he left the scene without tending to the injured woman. He says, "As a crowd was beginning to gather, I was advised to return to Sandringham House by a local Police Officer. I have since learned that you suffered a broken arm. I am deeply sorry about this injury."

But, David has been laser-focused on redemption and even went to Mexico to train with luchadores to prove he can hang with the big boys.
His comeback has been nothing short of impressive -- he's executed crazy aerial maneuvers, bulked up ... and even sacrificed his body in a death match.
The 47-year-old was hospitalized and got stitches -- but returned to the ring a short time later.
We just saw Arquette a few weeks ago and he made it clear he ain't slowing down any time soon.
