Judge Attack Flying Felon Now Isolated Behind Bars

Published | Updated

The flying felon who attacked a Vegas judge is paying for his actions in more ways than one ... not only has he been hit with a bunch more charges, he's also now in solitary.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Deobra Redden has been moved to a solo cell following his violent outburst where he leaped over the bench at Judge Mary Kay Holthus earlier this week, punching her in the head and pulling her hair while court staffers rushed to her aid.

Our sources say Redden was immediately classified as a "2C" inmate, which is the most restrictive classification in the Clark County Jail.

This means Redden is solo in a cell, without any interactions with other inmates. He also eats alone, inside the cell ... and has very limited time outside.

The whole thing was shocking ... Redden was in court for a previous conviction for attempted battery with substantial bodily harm. His attorney had asked Judge Holthus for parole, but she chose to sentence the 3-time felon instead -- which set him off and led to the attack.

Judge Holthus was mostly unharmed, but shaken up by the incident. Another court employee required 25 stitches to close a gash on his head.

As for Redden ... he was hit with a slew of new felonies for the attack -- including coercion with force or threat of force, extortion, intimidating public officers/others with the use of force, disregard of the safety of person/property, and battery by prisoner, probationer, or parolee.

GRAY & MIKE BENKO MAGNOLIA NETWORK STARS SEPARATED

Published

Magnolia Network stars Gray and Mike Benko have been separated since April 2023 ... spending time apart to work through their marital difficulties ... TMZ has learned.

We've obtained the court docs ... Mike vacated their marital home on the date listed as their separation, and Gray is requesting an Order of Separate Support & Maintenance -- when one spouse receives court-ordered support from the other spouse, without a divorce.

The request also allows her to live apart from Mike without further interference from him.

The docs say she's hopeful the parties will be able to negotiate a settlement agreement to resolve all the issues of their marriage and separation ... though by the looks of it, divorce appears to be imminent.

She believes the court should review the agreement, approve it, and make the terms a part of the court's final order in this action.

The estranged pair, who share 2 children, were compared to Chip & Joanna Gaines, aka the gurus of home makeovers ... following the release of their successful show, "Happy to Be Home With the Benkos" last year.

It'll be interesting to see how they'll rebrand themselves separately.

Joe Jonas Just the Tip ... Goes Skiing With Model

Published | Updated

Joe Jonas is taking things with a former Miss Teen USA titleholder to new heights ... hitting the famed altitude of Colorado for a ski day as he moves on from his ex, Sophie Turner.

The singer hit the slopes Friday in Aspen with Stormi Bree ... which will only make romance rumors snowball.

Joe and Stormi look like they're having a ton of fun at the Colorado resort, yukking it up on the lift and seemingly bonding over the winter sport.

The ski trip comes on the heels of some beach time down in Mexico -- we saw Joe and Stormi earlier this week boarding a private jet in Los Cabos.

Joe's going to be on the move again soon ... Sophie had their kids for Christmas and New Year's with her over in London, and on Sunday she's supposed to drop them off with Joe in NYC.

Sophie's got a new man in her life, British aristocrat Peregrine Pearson, and they've been hot and heavy from the jump.

Now, Joe's showing he can play ball too ... and taking advantage of his last few days without his kiddos.

Nigel Lythgoe Out at 'SYTYCD' After Paula Abdul Claims of Sexual Assault

Published | Updated

Nigel Lythgoe won't participate in this year's edition of "So You Think You Can Dance" ... making the decision after claims of sexual assault were leveled against him by Paula Abdul.

Nigel tells TMZ, "I have informed the producers of ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ of my decision to step back from participating in this year’s series. I did so with a heavy heart but entirely voluntarily because this great program has always been about dance and dancers, and that’s where its focus needs to remain."

Nigel adds, "In the meantime, I am dedicating myself to clearing my name and restoring my reputation."

TMZ broke the story ... Abdul filed a lawsuit against Nigel last week claiming she'd been sexually assaulted by him on at least two occasions -- once when she was a judge on "American Idol" and again while she worked on 'SYTYCD.'

During the 'Idol' incident, she says Nigel grabbed her breasts and genitals while trying to kiss her in an elevator. Paula claims Nigel tried to force himself on her during "SYTYCD."

For his part, Nigel has denied Paula's allegations, calling them, "false and deeply offensive."

ESPN Exec Calls Rodgers' Kimmel Jabs 'Dumb' ... But He'll Be Back On 'McAfee Show'

Published | Updated

ESPN is distancing itself from Aaron Rodgers' recent comments about Jimmy Kimmel ... chalking his controversial appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show" up to a bad attempt at comedy.

The New York Jets quarterback sparked an intense feud with the ABC late-night host earlier this week ... when he suggested Kimmel could be among the famous names on Jeffrey Epstein's client list.

Kimmel was furious with Rodgers ... firing back by claiming the comments could put his family in danger -- and threatening to take legal action if he continued to bark up that tree.

Mike Foss -- ESPN's senior vice president of digital and studio production -- addressed the whole issue in an interview with Front Office Sports on Friday ... and he said the comments never should have came out of Rodgers' mouth.

"Pat announced today that he’s planning on Aaron joining the show Tuesday," Foss told the outlet. "Aaron made a dumb and factually inaccurate joke about Jimmy Kimmel."

"The show will continue to evolve. It wouldn’t surprise me if Aaron’s role evolves with it."

Based on the latter part of that statement, it certainly sounds like the network won't step in and prevent Rodgers from going back on the show ... but on Friday's show, Pat accused ESPN exec Norby Williamson of sabotaging his program amid the drama.

Of course, the beef between Rodgers and Kimmel is complicated -- McAfee and the TV personality are both in the Disney family and wildly popular in their respective fields.

But as McAfee said on Thursday, it appears everyone involved is looking to move forward in peace -- without going to court.

Ariana Madix Sue You, Sandoval ... Let's Just Sell Our House, Already!!!

Published | Updated

New legal fallout from 'Scandoval' -- Ariana Madix is suing Tom Sandoval over the Los Angeles house they co-own, and still live in together.

The "Vanderpump Rules" star filed suit against her ex-bf in L.A. Superior Court ... and the docs make it clear they are at loggerheads over how to split up the house.

According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, Ariana says she wants a "partition by sale" ... which means she wants a judge to order them to sell the house, and divide the proceeds.

What she doesn't want is a "division in kind." That would allow each of them to retain their ownership interest in the property ... and one of them could, theoretically, sell to a third party.

Translation: She just wants to sell the place, and have them both move on with their lives.

Back in better times, Tom and Ariana bought the San Fernando Valley home in 2019 for about $2 million.

Despite their relationship blowing up very publicly last year when she found out Tom was having an affair with Rachel Leviss ... they've both continued to live in the home together.

That's about to end ... if Ariana gets her way.

GYPSY TELLS ALL

UPDATE

8:32 AM PT -- We got Gypsy Rose Blanchard out in NYC today where she arrived to tape an interview for "The View." She walked alongside her husband, Ryan Scott Anderson, and was surrounded by a camera crew and security.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard is opening up about her time in prison, telling the world she feels out of sorts now that she's free while claiming she only killed her mom, Dee Dee, to get out of her precarious situation.

Blanchard sat down for her first interview that aired Friday on "Good Morning America" after her release last week from Missouri's Chillicothe Correctional Center, where she served 7 years of her 10-year sentence.

In the wide-ranging interview, Blanchard first reminisced about what it was like to step out of the penitentiary after so many years, saying she "felt a little bit like I was dropped in a different world because you don't realize how much you're restricted in prison."

She added, "I felt like I was in a black-and-white world and I just stepped into technicolor. It was amazing."

Gypsy then discussed what led to her incarceration, accusing Dee Dee of abuse for subjecting her to unnecessary surgeries and parading her around in a wheelchair with a feeding tube when she wasn't even sick.

Medical professionals determined that Blanchard was a victim of a condition known as "Munchausen syndrome by proxy," where a parent tries to gain sympathy by falsely claiming their child is ill.

Blanchard told 20/20" co-anchor and ABC's senior national affairs correspondent Deborah Roberts that life with her mom in Springfield, MO, was similar to prison, which was actually less restrictive. She said, "Honestly [it] wasn't that much of a difference. But I also had more freedom in prison than I ever had with my mother."

Roberts then showed Blanchard a photo of herself when she was younger, prompting the now 32-year-old to respond, "I don't even associate with that little girl anymore. Like, I know that's me. But at the same time, that isn't me anymore."

Blanchard said she didn't think her mom was a "monster" despite public perception, explaining, "She had a lot of demons herself that she was struggling with. I didn't want her dead. I just wanted out of my situation. And I thought that was the only way out."

She also addressed her co-defendant and former boyfriend in the case, Nicholas Godejohn, who was convicted of fatally stabbing Dee Dee on Blanchard's orders and is currently serving a life term. Blanchard said, "I'm sure that we both have a lot of regrets. All I can really say is that I did my time. He's doing his time for his part. And I wish him well on his journey."

One regret Blanchard didn't have while behind bars was regularly listening to music from her "inspiration" Taylor Swift, who got her through the toughest of times.

"Sinceramente, no había tanta diferencia.

JEANNIE MAI POSTS BIKINI THIRST TRAPS AMID DIVORCE ... Jeezy, Look Away!

Published

Jeannie Mai is in her element ... ringing in her 45th birthday with a set of thirst traps in a gold bikini, and ya gotta imagine her estranged hubby Jeezy will take notice.

The TV host brought some much-needed heat to a snowy setting Thursday ... seductively posing outside a lakeside cabin in a metallic two-piece along with a pair of snow boots and a fur jacket.

Her caption's pretty simple ... "Cuz she can" -- an obvious declaration she's reclaiming her power after a challenging year, which saw Jeezy make the move to end their marriage.

He filed for divorce from Jeannie in September 2023 ... saying their marriage was "irretrievably broken."

Things between the estranged couple remain bitter -- with a filing obtained by TMZ in December revealing Jeannie submitted a response to Jeezy's request for a hearing to figure out a temporary custody schedule for their 1-year-old daughter Monaco.

She said his accusation she's interfering with his ability to spend time with their daughter is false -- adding in the docs she wants Jeezy to be involved in their daughter's life -- but the youngster's safety is her #1 concern.

While the pair continue to work toward the best resolution for their daughter ... Jeannie reflected on 2023 in another IG post, saying she's thankful for her resilience for guiding her through the dark times.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard No Contact Allowed With Ex-BF ... Strict Parole Guidelines

Published | Updated

Gypsy Rose Blanchard is banned from having any contact with the former flame she enlisted to kill her mom ... at least not while she remains on parole.

According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Gypsy's parole conditions bar her from talking to Nick Godejohn, the ex-boyfriend who was convicted of murdering her mother, Dee Dee.

She also can't email, text, write or communicate with him through any third-party

Remember ... Godejohn is serving a life sentence for killing Dee Dee as part of a fatal plot to help Gypsy escape her mother's clutches. The slaying resulted in a second-degree murder conviction for Gypsy, who was recently released on parole after spending 7 years in prison.

Starbucks Pink Stanley Cups RE$ELLING FOR BIG MONEY ONLINE ... Amid Target Store Chaos

Published

If people risking jail time for a mug -- like some are to nab a limited edition Stanley Quencher Starbucks cup -- here's what ya gotta know ... they're making tons of money on the resale market.

It's pretty wild, and a sign of the times ... the pink cups retail for $49.95 at Starbucks branches inside Targets, and folks who've been able to snag them are turning around, and hawking them online for hundreds of dollars.

The resellers are working hard for that big payday, though ... the only way to get the cups seems to be camping outside Target for hours, or fighting through massive crowds in scenes straight out of Black Friday.

Other people are going to even greater lengths to try and cash in -- like the guy who hopped a counter and tried, unsuccessfully, to steal a whole box of the pink goodies.

On eBay, the pink cups are going for $250 to $280 ... and Mercari has them on sale for $225 to $300.

Social media is a factor too ... Stanley cups are wildly popular on Instagram and TikTok ... so there's huge demand and limited supply.

Economics 101, folks.

Jeffrey Epstein Victim Told to Name-Drop Dershowitz To Sell Her Book, According to Emails

Published | Updated

Jeffrey Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre was told to paint famed attorney Alan Dershowitz as a pedophile to make a book about her sex abuse claims more appealing to publishers ... according to newly unsealed court documents.

The docs, obtained by TMZ, include email correspondence between Giuffre and U.K. journalist Sharon Churcher from May 2011 ... Giuffre is telling Churcher she found a ghostwriter to pen her story, and says, "I wanted to put the names of these a**holes, oops I meant to say, pedo's, that J.E. sent me to."

Churcher's response ... "Don't forget Alan Dershowitz... JE's buddy and lawyer -good name for your pitch as he repped Claus von Bulow and a movie was made about that case."

Churcher added ... "We all suspect Alan is a pedo and tho no proof on that, you probably met him when he was hanging out with JE."

Attorneys for Esptein's close associate Ghislaine Maxwell -- who Guiffre is suing -- allege Giuffre only added Dershowitz to her manuscript after that exchange with Churcher ... but, even then, Giuffre did not allege she had sex with him, and only referred to Dershowitz as Epstein's business acquaintance.

According to the docs, Giuffre did not accuse Dershowitz of having sex with her until years later ... December 2014. Dershowitz has always denied that allegation.

Another email between Giuffre and Churcher includes an allegation about Bill Clinton and Vanity Fair.

Giuffre writes ... "When i was doing some research into VF yesterday, it does concern me what they could want to write about me considering that B. Clinton walked into VF and threatened them not to write sex-trafficking articles about his good friend J.E."

The unsealed documents are all related to Giuffre's 2015 civil lawsuit against Maxwell.
