YG and Kehlani kept their relationship under wraps for months before finally going public this week ... but she's NOT the reason he's no longer with the woman who recently gave birth to his child.

Sources close to the couple tell TMZ ... YG separated from his baby mama, Catelyn Sparks, BEFORE he got into a relationship with Kehlani, and all parties are cool with how things played out.

YG's baby mama gave birth to their second child in July ... and we're told the rapper will still provide for both kids and their mother, at least financially.

As we reported ... YG and Kehlani confirmed they're dating Thursday night, making their first public appearance together as they strolled hand in hand into a show for New York Fashion Week.

Kehlani actually became a mother herself back in March ... but she's never been in a romantic relationship with the father, who happens to be her guitarist. Nevertheless, they've decided to co-parent.

Logic says he's no Bobby Fischer when it comes to chess, but he's feeling confident enough to challenge one of our photogs to a match ... and dropping bombs about his love life!!!

We got the rapper at Catch Thursday night in West Hollywood, where he had just finished dinner, and he was holding a very interesting accessory ... a friggin' chessboard.

Logic admits he's far from a grandmaster -- maybe that's why he's practicing at the dinner table -- but when our guy asks if he's down for a quick game, Logic jumps at the offer and sets a few parameters.

Speaking of chess pieces, Logic's got his own queen ... telling us his dinner date, Brittney Noell, is his wife now, and they're expecting!!!

We broke the story ... Logic and Brittney took a trip to the courthouse in July to take out a marriage license ... and turns out they followed through to tie the knot.

The first domino has fallen in Tekashi69's racketeering case ... the rapper's ex-manager has been sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Kifano “Shotti” Jordan learned his fate Friday, courtesy of a Manhattan judge ... 6 months after he pled guilty to 1 count of using and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence and 1 count of discharging a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence.

TMZ broke the story ... Tekashi and Shotti were both arrested by the feds on racketeering charges back in November. The feds believed Shotti, along with Tekashi, pulled off an armed robbery back in April 2018. The feds alleged they robbed Tekashi's rivals at gunpoint.

Shotti was also accused of firing 2 shots at one of Tekashi's rivals ... on the same night one of Tekashi's crew members fired his gun inside the Barclays Center.

Jamie Spears wants a judge to let him take a breather for a few months as Britney's conservator and put one of his people in his place -- temporarily -- but we've learned Britney's mom appears to have different ideas ... TMZ has learned.

Lynne's lawyer, Gladstone Jones, tells us he and Lynne will be in court next week for Jamie's hearing. Gladstone will not say if they will challenge Jamie, but it's not hard to read the tea leaves.

Lynne was on board with the "Free Britney" social media campaign against Jamie earlier this year -- that escalated into real-life protests, and even celeb shout-outs onstage. Some people online accused Jamie of forcing Britney into a mental health facility against her will. BTW ... that didn't happen -- it would be a crime for a facility to allow that, and Britney was coming and going as she wished during her stay.

Nevertheless ... as we reported, Lynne asked the judge in the conservatorship case to involve her in the process -- especially with respect to medical issues. She also reconnected with Britney and stayed at her home during the whole social media campaign.

Jones would not say if Lynne will challenge Jamie's latest move, and even ask the judge to appoint her conservator. If that were to happen, Lynne would almost certainly have to move from her home in Louisiana to SoCal. It's a 24/7 job.

Bruce Dickinson was so pissed off after a fan got the crap kicked out of him at an Iron Maiden show, he stopped the concert to rip into the venue and its security force ... and the video is wild!

The Iron Maiden frontman passionately addressed the crowd over the bloody incident Thursday night at the Tacoma Dome ... saying, "I hope that kid is getting hospital treatment now because he's bleeding from head wounds. I hope that kid takes this building to the f***ing cleaners!!!"

Bruce says the band has been playing to hundreds of thousands of people on tour, and they've never seen anything like the beatdown this guy received. He wondered out loud to the crowd if this kinda thing happens frequently at the venue. Either way, Bruce says it's "f***ing madness!!"

The singer asks the crowd if they have any video of the beating, saying the band would be happy to help find the "bullies and the f***ing criminals who are responsible."

Then in a perfect segue, the band starts playing, "The Evil That Men Do."

It's unclear if the injured fan is still receiving medical treatment, or if he's planning to press charges.

Kanye West is not just a Wyoming visitor anymore, because we've learned he just bought a massive property.

Kanye plunked down some serious money for a property called Monster Lake Ranch. The asking price was $14 million for the huge chunk of land outside Cody, Wyoming.

The Ranch itself has 8 lodging units and is known for "monster trout" fishing. It has 2 fresh water lakes, a restaurant, an event center and meeting facilities. And -- it's a ranch, right -- so there are lots of horse barns, corrals and lots of horsies. Fun fact ... Cody is known as the "rodeo capital of the world." Imagine Sunday Service at the rodeo?!?

We're told Kanye did not pay full price but we don't know exactly how much he plunked down. The property itself is more than 9,000 acres! He now owns 4,500 of those acres, and the rest is leased from the federal government.

Kanye is there now ... earlier this week, he was tooling around his new property on an ATV.

We're told Kanye is currently there ... finishing up his new album, which has a heavy religious theme. As you know, his Sunday Service has become a thing, and now he's going into the studio to put finishing touches on the album that's expected to come out Sept. 27.

Our sources say in the last few days Pusha T joined Kanye in Wyoming. Remember, Pusha was also there when Kanye was working on the album "Ye." He spent a lot of time in Wyoming at the Aman resort putting pen to paper to finish that album.

Demi Lovato is so over feeling bad about her body, and even more so -- she's done editing her photos to please others and adhere to THEIR idea of beautiful.

Demi shared this unedited bikini photo of herself late Thursday -- cellulite and all -- because as she puts it ... "I want this new chapter in my life to be about being authentic to who I am rather than trying to meet someone else’s standards."

The inspiring pic caught the eye of one interesting admirer. Mike Johnson, a contestant on the last season of "The Bachelorette," dropped a very flirty reply to Demi ... saying, "Look at me like that again." Demi saw it and replied with a kissy face emoji. Hmmm ...

Even better, Demi's post also revealed that she's back in the studio working on new music -- an anthem!

The Cleveland Indians REALLY want to get the world's most famous Biebers together -- and it could finally happen next week ... in Anaheim!!!

Justin Bieber and Indians pitcher Shane Bieber have bonded on social media due to their famous last name -- and they even wore baseball jerseys recently jokingly paying tribute to the other.

Shane wore a "Not Justin" jersey during MLB Players' Weekend, when the athletes get to wear whatever name they want on their jerseys. And, Justin responded by rockin' a "Not Shane Bieber" jersey during a recent motorcycle outing.

Now, we're told the team wants to take the bromance to the next level by trying to arrange a face-to-face next week when the Indians come to California for a 3-game series with the Angels.

Our sources tell us reps for the Indians have reached out to Justin's camp to invite him to one of the games so he can meet Shane ... and we're told JB is seriously considering the offer.

Justin is a big sports fan and loves hanging with athletes ... from Neymar to Floyd Mayweather and he's also obsessed with hockey.

Shane has previously told us interacting with Justin on social media was one of the great thrills of his life!!!

Britney Spears has been under a conservatorship with Jamie Spears at the helm for 11 years, but sources connected with the singer believe Kevin Federline could make a move to get Jamie removed ... in the wake of the incident between Jamie and Britney's 13-year-old son.

As we reported, Jamie is now under criminal investigation for allegedly breaking a door down and putting his hands on Sean. A temporary restraining order is now in place prohibiting Jamie from having contact with Jayden and Sean.

Certain members of Britney's team believe Kevin might go to the judge overseeing the conservatorship and ask to remove Jamie because he's ultimately responsible for the welfare of the children -- since he oversees their mom -- children with whom he's temporarily prohibited from having any contact.

Our Britney sources believe Jamie is secure in his role for one reason ... there's really no one else who can handle it. The judges associated with the conservatorship over the years have acknowledged Jamie righted the ship when Britney was at her worst -- in danger of losing custody, bleeding money and extremely unstable. Britney is now flush with cash, has joint custody and by all rights is considered a good parent.

As one Britney source put it ... "Jamie certainly has his flaws, but everyone knows he's done a good job and there's no one else who can do it."

The wild card -- will Britney's mom, Lynne Spears, make a move to wrestle the conservatorship away from Jamie? As we reported, Lynne expressed an interest to become involved in the conservatorship earlier this year, after a social media campaign went after Jamie. She spent time with Britney in L.A., reconnecting after years of estrangement, but she's been in the background ever since.

Nicki Minaj's retirement announcement not only came out of nowhere, but it absolutely doesn't add up -- as in it doesn't seem real -- based on her recent actions ... so say sources close to her.

TMZ's learned Nicki has been busy in the studio working on new music in recent weeks and on top of that ... we're told she made plans to record with several artists just in the past few days.

Our sources say Minaj has a lot of songs already in the can, and despite saying on Thursday she's retiring in order to "have my family" -- she still has studio time booked until next month.

So, why the sudden decision to hang it up? We're told Nicki's been growing increasingly fed up with internet trolls who've been harassing her lately, and finally reached a boiling point.

Our sources say the rapper was pushed over the edge by constantly defending herself over accusations of not writing her own songs, questions about her hip-hop legacy ... and her relationship with her fiance, Kenneth Petty. BTW, rumor is she's already Mrs. Petty, but that's another thing Nicki's tired of discussing.

The good news for the Barbs ... we're told those close to Nicki believe she's just taking a much-needed break from the haters and simply needs a moment to chill and reevaluate. As we told you ... DJ Paul agrees.

One more thing -- Minaj's comment about family got many wondering if she's pregnant. We're told she's not ... yet.

The legendary Bahamian beach bar where Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin partied after their engagement is now a shell of its former self ... the party spot got wiped out by Hurricane Dorian.

Nipper's Beach Bar & Grill in the Bahamas was decimated by the Category 5 storm ... it's now all but ruined.

As you see ... there were several roofs, but no more. Trees are downed, fencing is mangled and some of the structures are ripped apart. A grim scene, for sure.

It's a stark contrast to July 2018, when Justin and Hailey raged at the famous watering hole after the singer proposed to the supermodel.

Justin and Hailey weren't the only ones who loved having a good time at Nippers ... the establishment was popular among celebs, tourists and partygoers. The place had been around for over two decades, staying open from dusk to dawn, 364 days a year.

R. Kelly's so-called girlfriends will be visiting him frequently now that he's in his prison's general population, but their visits will be strictly cordial ... NOT conjugal.

The singer's attorney, Steven Greenberg tells TMZ ... Joycelyn Savage and Azriel Clary plan to go see him soon at the federal prison in Chicago where he's being held. While Kelly's gen pop move came with a bunch of new allowances ... sex with visitors is not one of 'em.

Still, Greenberg says Joycelyn and Azriel will make the trip to see Kelly on a "regular basis" ... just to keep him company. Besides the sex ban, the GFs also can't bring Kelly food or treats from the outside. We're told his only consolation is a hug hello and a hug goodbye will be permitted with each woman.

We broke the story ... Kelly's feeling safe and at ease in federal lockup because he doesn't think he'll have any issues with his hometown inmates, who he believes still consider him a music legend.

Just in case, though ... Greenberg says there are security measures in place to keep Kelly safe.

YG and Kehlani are ready to let the whole world know they're officially an item ... the new couple just made their first public appearance together.

The rapper and R&B singer were holding hands Thursday night as they strolled arm and arm into the Kith show at New York Fashion Week.

It's the first time we've seen YG and Kehlani together since rumors of their relationship started swirling ... and they told our guy they're definitely dating.

The timing is interesting ... because YG recently had another child with his baby mama, Catelyn Sparks, who gave birth to their second baby girl in July. Kehlani became a mother back in March, welcoming a baby girl into the world.

Kehlani's no stranger to getting in high profile relationships. The former "America's Got Talent" finalist used to date NBA superstar Kyrie Irving.

Ariana Grande's brother is cleaning up the tea he spilled about her dating life -- that is to say, she is NOT dating Social House singer Mikey Foster.

Frankie Grande sent folks into a frenzy Wednesday when he said he went on a "double date" with Ariana and Mikey ... but now he says he was not implying Ariana and Mikey were an item.

Frankie started backstroking Thursday, saying ... "My sister is not in a relationship. Everyone relax. She is very much single."

Now, Frankie says his "double date" comment just meant Ariana and Mikey went out for dinner with him and his boyfriend, Hale Leon.
