Jay-Z, Chance the Rapper and Common are gonna attract a new generation to Woodstock 50 and anyone who's not down with that better get the hell over it ... STAT!!!

Michael Lang -- the co-creator of Woodstock's 50th anniversary festival -- tells TMZ ... he heard about the backlash the festival has received in response to the lineup it released last week. Fans bitched it's too pop and modern, with artists like Miley Cyrus, Imagine Dragons and Halsey.

The backlash was intense. One person tweeted, "The Woodstock 50 lineup looks like it was curated by someone who's only exposure to music has been through the Grammy's 'Best Rock Performance' category between 2010-2013."

But, check out the video ... Michael makes it crystal clear the lineup is an homage to the original 1969 festival ... where more than 400,000 spectators gathered in the Catskill Mountains united by their love for great music and disdain for the Vietnam War.

Michael says he's hoping to get a younger audience engaged in social discourse -- just like his generation once did -- and in the process, introduce Woodstock to a whole new generation.

So, while there will be familiar acts for the veterans -- like Santana and Dead & Company -- Michael's adamant Woodstock will benefit from an eclectic lineup.

Adrien Broner got in trouble with the law again .... and he ended up in cuffs.

Eyewitnesses tell TMZ the former boxing champ was in South Beach at around 9 PM Saturday, walking with fellow boxer Gervonta Davis, when he jaywalked on busy Collins Avenue and a driver honked at him. We're told Adrien got angry and smacked the hood of the car and began yelling at the driver.

Cops were already out in force because it's Spring Break, they heard the commotion and warned him to calm down or else he'd be arrested. We're told Broner then started yelling at the police so they cuffed him for a time but did not arrest him.

Broner didn't let the incident dampen his night. He went to Exchange Miami nightclub where he did the Bust Down dance and even jumped onstage.

Earlier this week Broner threatened to attack and even shoot gay people in a vile video posted to his social media account. He said, "If I got my gun on me, I'm shooting you in the f***ing face, and that's on God and them ... I don't like gay sh*t." The comments were directed at social media star Andrew C. Caldwell, the famous "I'm Delivert" guy. Caldwell had said Broner was flirting with him. Broner's response was to "punch the testosterone out you GAY ASS."

Adrien Broner just took another L ... but, at least this time, it had nothing to do with boxing.

The prickly prizefighter was trying to get into the Voodoo nightclub with his crew Friday night when he was stopped at the door by security.

In the vid -- shot by @theNYguys -- Broner and the bouncer are seen having a long conversation in which he appears to be pleading to let them in ... but to no avail.

Surprisingly, everything appears to end amicably, despite the boxer's group being denied ... Adrien extends a friendly handshake and leaves peacefully.

It's unclear what the issue with their entry was ... we're working on it.

As we reported ... the boxer didn't have a very good week, either -- he kicked things off by posting a vile, homophobic rant threatening to shoot gay people and attack social media star Andrew C. Caldwell.

This resulted in Broner being hit with a restraining order.

Jennifer Lawrence and Adele had a super fun night Friday in New York City ... hitting up a Greenwich Village gay bar and the crowd went crazy for them.

JLaw and her bud Adele hit up Pieces, and they got right in the thick of it, entertaining the crowd, jumping onstage, and participating in a drinking contest ... which Jennifer handily won.

The drag queen hosting the show asked Adele what she does for a living, and she answered, "Actually at the moment I'm a stay-at-home mum."

Adele didn't take well to losing the drinking contest, taking a hilarious shot at Jennifer, saying, "You're f***ing engaged. You're not even relevant to be here!" As you know, Jennifer's engaged to Cooke Maroney.

Sansa Stark went FULL TYRION at the Rangers game on Tuesday -- grabbing a glass of wine and SLAMMING IT ... just because she was on the Jumbotron!!

... and it was awesome!!!!

Sophie Turner was sitting in the stands -- watching the Detroit Red Wings dominate New York -- when the house camera threw her up on the big screen for all of Madison Square Garden to see.

She dabbed. She smiled. She chugged.

The crowd went wild ... because, duh ... and Sophie threw a celebratory fist bump.

Unfortunately, the "Game of Thrones" star didn't exactly turn the tides for the Rangers ... they ended up losing the game 3-2.

Beto O'Rourke is getting one of the strangest party invitations ever extended to a presidential candidate ... courtesy of the mastermind behind the Beto 2020 crop circle.

Stan Herd, the creator of the 2-acre political ad featuring Beto's mug, is putting on a full-court press to convince Beto to take part in a huge gathering at the crop circle in Austin, Texas ... and he wants Willie Nelson to be there as well!!!

Stan's party visions are pretty wild ... he's envisioning Beto in the middle of the crop circle, surrounded by 10,000 supporters hugging the installation's exterior. Everything is bigger in Texas!!!

Party plans aside ... Stan tells us the crop circle took over 2 weeks and $12,000 to complete. It popped up a few miles from the Austin airport days after Beto announced his plans to run for Prez.

No word yet if Beto will accept the party invite -- but he'd certainly be a lot cooler if he did.

Golf's a gentlemen's game, so it's no surprise "Southern Charm" star Shep Rose got his ass ejected from a VIP tent when he started actin' the fool.

We're told Shep hit up The Players Championship Friday at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL ... where he had an incredible view of the 17th hole from inside the Dye Pavilion VIP tent.

Witnesses at the event tell us Shep drank a little too much booze ... becoming belligerent and pestering guests. He also got up and started dancing ... blocking people's view.

We're told a woman working the event asked Shep to leave but he refused. That's when St. John's County Sheriff's deputies stepped in. A spokesperson tells us the deputies working the event escorted Shep outta the tent without incident. He was not arrested and removed from the tent but not from the event.

Lucky guy ... The Players Championship arguably has the best class of golfers from top to bottom, so lots of great golf to watch.

Maybe stick to water on the rocks, Shep?

Kim Kardashian helped Paris Hilton celebrate the big 3-8 with an epic belated birthday bash that came just in time for St. Patrick's Day. Better late than never, right?

Paris hosted Kim, Kourtney, Larsa Pippen and tons of her other famous pals at an undisclosed location Saturday night that was decked out to the theme of "#ClubParis," which seems to be an homage to a famous cabaret/strip club in France.

Paris got tons of selfies with her girls as she shimmered in a silver jumpsuit, but the big highlight of the night was when Larsa filmed Paris hitting the stage for some pole dancing.

Check it out ... she's pretty good.

Paris turned 38 on February 17, so this get-together literally came one month after the fact. That didn't seem to bother PH though. As Kim says here, that's just how Paris gets down ... celebrating months and months at a time. Solid motto.

Le'Veon Bell just signed a $52.5 mil contract, but LB is still focused on his other career -- throwing an album release party in Miami, and TMZ Sports has the footage.

Bell hit up Rockwell Nightclub in Miami Beach Saturday to perform songs from his new rap album, "Life's a Gamble" -- and the place went crazy for him.

Among the songs he performed was "Free at Last" -- where he talks about his drama with the Pittsburg Steelers. One of the lyrics includes, "I'm gonna make them open up their safes. I'm just doin' what I gotta do to get me paid."

There's more ... many of the lyrics have to do with Bell's football career and how excited he was to leave the Steelers and sign with a new team. During the nightclub performance, Bell was wearing some big ass gold chains -- no doubt a result of getting a huge new contract in New York.

Conor McGregor provided inspiration to the Boston Bruins by giving a thunderous pep talk before Saturday night's game against the Columbus Blue Jackets ... kinda surprising given his felony robbery arrest just days before.

Conor was the guest of honor at TD Garden ... check out his roaring speech to the Bruins in the locker room.

The crowd went crazy when Conor came out for a ceremonial puck drop.

During the game, he went crazy with fans and went back into the locker room to congratulate the Bruins on their win.

Earlier in the day, Conor was in Chicago leading the St. Patrick's Day Parade.

As we reported, Conor was arrested for robbery/strong-arm and criminal mischief over $1,000 in Miami Monday morning for smashing a fan's cellphone and then taking it.

The fan, Ahmed Abdirzak, is suing Conor, claiming battery, assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Diddy is still very much a single man ... nothing romantic going on between him and Steve Harvey's daughter.

Sources close to Diddy tell TMZ ... the music mogul is NOT dating Lori Harvey -- despite rumors to the contrary -- they're just family friends. We're told Lori's been close with the Combs family for a while, but that's it.

The rumor mill went into overdrive this week after Diddy was seen on video with Lori at a reggae festival in Miami. Diddy performed with Nas, and we're told he stuck around with friends and fam to check out the rest of the acts. It's not like Diddy and Lori were there alone.

As you know ... Diddy recently broke up with Cassie, and it was only a few months ago that he lost the mother of his children, Kim Porter. But, he's not jumping back into the dating pool just yet.

1:04 PM PT -- A rep for Dropkick Murphys tells us the reason Ken got into a fight with the fan actually had to do with the fact that the guy was elbowing women in the face. We're told Ken asked the man to calm down, but clearly he didn't listen. The rest is ... well, signed and sealed in blood.

Dropkick Murphys stayed true to their name when one of their own got into a bloody fight with a fan ... and then came back for more!!!

The famous '90s Celtic punk band was performing Friday night at the House of Blues in Boston -- when, at one point, bassist and singer Ken Casey handed the mic down to a fan in the middle of a song for some help singing it ... but the favor wasn't returned.

Eyewitnesses tell us the fan refused to give the mic back to Ken, who became irate and got into a spat with the guy in the front row.

The footage here captures what happened right after that initial scuffle, which clearly left Ken bloody on his face. Welp ... Ken wasn't finished just yet -- after he got yanked back onstage, he dove right back in for seconds, despite his bandmates trying to hold him back.

We're told the unruly fan was eventually escorted out, and Ken got bandaged up backstage before returning to the spotlight to finish his set. No arrests were made.

All the meanwhile, another member of the band quickly explained why Ken got so pissed ... adding that his reaction was nothin' new. Apparently, Ken's been in a few rumbles in his day, including this time from 2013. His bandmate had some advice on how to avoid that.

Cuba is just like most college kids -- except for the fact he's 51 -- hitting up Florida to soak up the sun and down some cold bevs ... and ya gotta see him busting out dance moves in the shallow end!

Conor McGregor ain't letting a possible 15-year prison sentence get him down -- the UFC star hit up a Florida bar Wednesday and ordered up 100 SHOTS of his famous Irish whiskey!

The Notorious rolled into Miller's Ale House in Hollywood, FL and turned up like he was celebrating -- going behind the bar, taking pics with fans ... and even cooking steaks in the kitchen!!!

Seriously, we spoke with people at the bar who tell us Conor wasn't there to be served, he was there to WORK!

Of course, Conor was pushing his Proper 12 whiskey -- ordering up 100 shots for the people in the bar -- and even buying a couple of bottles for himself (he likes it).

When it was all said and done, Conor's bill came out to $636.66 -- but he wanted to show the staff some love ... so he tipped an additional $200!!!

Conor had been arrested in Miami on Monday for allegedly stealing a cell phone from a man outside of the Fontainebleau hotel and then stomping on it. We obtained footage of the incident.

McGregor was booked for robbery/strong-arm and criminal mischief over $1,000 -- and the first charge carries a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison. Conor has been downplaying the allegations. Clearly, he thinks it's no big deal.

In fact, Time magazine ran an interview with author Adina Grigore who swears by the beer shampoo method.

"It’s super conditioning. While you’re pouring it in your hair, it feels a little luxurious, which is counterintuitive to what you’d think pouring a can of beer in your hair is like," Grigore said.

She added, "The B vitamins and all the nutrients from the fermenting are really great, and it’ll add body to your hair, too."

So, Bella doesn't need to waste all of those suds on her melon -- splash some on the pits, too!

Drake rolled out the red carpet for his baby mama at his concert ... and she couldn't stop showing off her dance moves.

OVO performed Wednesday night at the AccorHotels Arena in Paris for his Assassination Vacation tour ... and damn near taking center stage was his baby mama, Sophie Brussaux. You can see her in the video getting all the feels to "One Dance" ... while double-fisting a couple of drinks.

Sophie had an all-access pass at the concert ... and this kinda VIP treatment shouldn't be a shocker to die-hard Drizzy fans. We're told the two have maintained a positive relationship for their son, Adonis, who was born on Drake's birthday back in 2017.

As we've reported ... Drake's used to pulling out all the stops for his son and baby mama. You'll recall he flew them out on a private jet on Christmas ... and he's been a proud papa ever since.
