A meeting between R. Kelly's alleged "sex slave," Azriel Clary, and her family wasn't dictated by the singer himself, nor was it his fault the whole thing fell apart ... so says his lawyer.

Clary was supposed to meet with her family -- for the first time in years -- Saturday night in Chicago. R. Kelly's attorney, Steve Greenberg, tells TMZ the plans fell through after Azriel insisted on changing the location last minute. We're told she wanted the meeting with her family to take place at Trump Tower Chicago in a conference room on the hotel side of the building -- not in R. Kelly's residence there -- as opposed to a previously decided spot.

The previous location was a different hotel, one block away, but Greenberg says Azriel made the switch the day before the scheduled meeting. It's been reported that Kelly was the one who pushed for the change -- supposedly wanting his security there too -- but Greenberg says that's false.

He tells us Azriel is the one who suggested Trump Tower as a means to control the media circus she thought her family would orchestrate around the meetup. She wanted say over who could get into the building by having it at Kelly's place, where she lives with him.

When her family got word on that, they pulled the plug entirely. Greenberg says the singer was never going to be at the meeting.

Michael Avenatti -- who reps Azriel's family in this matter -- tells TMZ ... "On Friday, R Kelly’s camp tried to abruptly change the terms of the meeting at which time my clients and I decided not to participate because the terms were not acceptable. We are now attempting to reschedule the meeting on agreeable terms so my clients can see their daughter."

Kanye West's Sunday Service seems to be drawing Hollywood types left and right ... seeing how Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are the latest to pay a visit.

The recently engaged couple were spotted attending Ye's outdoor concert Sunday in Calabasas -- which also doubles as a church service of sorts. They were definitely dressed for the occasion ... Katy was decked out in a pink outfit that seemed perfect for Easter season, while Orlando went more caj with a jacket and jeans.

Tyler, the Creator was there too ... making a brief cameo on Kendall Jenner's Instagram Story. Oh, and Courtney Love showed up as well, BTW.

Speaking of the KarJenner brood -- the whole fam was out in force this week for Kanye's spiritual gathering. Khloe, Kourtney and her kids and, of course, Kim K and her children were all in attendance too. No sign of Kylie among the flock though.

The new celeb sightings follow DMX's appearance last week, when he gave the "morning prayer" to kick off the service -- which has been running weekly since at least January.

Paris Jackson is in a much better head space since her suicide scare ... spending time with friends, family and taking advice from people who genuinely care about her.

TMZ broke the story ... Jackson was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital last week after she attempted suicide by cutting her wrists. She was released from the hospital a few hours later after allegedly telling doctors she'd seek treatment at another facility ... but that never happened.

Those close to Paris had originally pushed rehab on the 20-year-old -- but she refused -- and has taken her well-being into her own hands.

Family sources tell us Paris is trying to improve her mental and physical health, and open to listening to the folks she trusts. Our sources say Paris is eating better, exercising and working on psychological issues.

Paris will turn 21 in just over a week, and organizing the party has kept her busy. We're told Paris has also been in regular communication with her younger brothers ... and is proud Blanket is gearing up for college. Macaulay Culkin -- who had an unbreakable bond with Michael Jackson -- has also been a big support.

We got Paris out in L.A. Tuesday night with her boyfriend outside Largo comedy club ... and she assured us she was doing fine.

The dog that died on an Air France-KLM jetliner bound for L.A. this week was a healthy, happy puppy heading for his new home ... according to the devastated family now demanding answers.

The family's attorney, Evan Oshan, tells TMZ ... the dog, a Central Asian Shepherd less than a year old named Bear, was recently purchased by the California family from Europe, and was en route to become their pet.

We're told Bear was chosen specifically because the breed is known for being strong and protective but gentle, and the family has 6 and 7-year-old children.

Oshan says the dog had no known health problems and was fine when he boarded the plane, and also doesn't have breathing issues like the French Bulldog that died on a United Airlines flight last year.

The family's now seeking more info from Air France, including surveillance footage of Bear and personnel files of anyone who handled him, incident reports connected to the flight, a flight manifest, cockpit recordings and KLM's protocol for stowing away animals.

In a letter to the airline, Oshan adds ... "We take the death of Bear very seriously and expect the protocol which you will follow will be consistent with the death of any passenger. Furthermore any attempt to veer from our requests will be viewed as obstruction of justice and dealt with as prescribed under the law."

We broke the story ... Bear was found dead Tuesday afternoon in L.A. in KLM's cargo hold after a long flight from Amsterdam. We're told the dog's body is still in the custody of the airline's investigator, and the family's efforts to have him returned to them have been ignored so far.

We're told the family wants the dog's necropsy done by an independent vet facility and to conduct its own investigation into the death.

Akon's ready to show off the most prized artist on his roster ... his own son!!!

The singer tells TMZ ... his 15-year-old son, Jahvor -- aka Jah -- is getting ready to drop his first EP with some major help from his favorite producer. Akon tells us Jah will appear on his Konvict label sometime in June. We got a sampling from one of the tracks, called "Locked Away" and it features, of course, Akon.

Goes without saying ... Jah's got his pops' voice.

Ya might be thinking ... Jah's song is about his dad doing time behind bars back in the late '90s and early 2000s, but you're dead wrong. Akon tells us, "My son wrote the chorus and his verse to symbolize how a kid could be mentally 'locked up' and can't escape the inevitable ways of the streets [and] becoming a product of the environment."

Deep stuff.

Akon's kids are incredibly talented. His other son, Ty Pittman, was recently featured on MattyBRaps' "Let's Dance" track. It's already racked up over 500k views on YouTube.

As for Jah ... Akon says he's aiming for a June release because that's African-American Music Appreciation Month.

Jordyn Woods is reveling in her newly-heightened celebrity ... drawing a gaggle of paparazzi and loving every minute of it.

Kylie Jenner's ex-bestie hit up Craig's in WeHo Friday night, and trust us ... this was all clearly to grab the most attention anyone could get in one spot.

There were at least 32 photogs at the restaurant and it was all about Jordyn. She was there to celebrate her upcoming music vid with YouTube star Justin Roberts ... and she looked ridiculously hot and said nothing, which says everything.

She had a "What, me worry?" look on her face as she grinned for the cameras. Some of the unanswered questions: "Do you miss Kylie? Have you moved your stuff out? Have you seen Kylie and Travis are back together? When will we see you with Kylie? Have you spoken with Khloe? Do you regret doing Red Table Talk?"

As far as her brand goes, hooking up with Tristan Thompson at any level did her nothing but good. Sure, she pissed off Khloe, Kylie and for that matter the whole Kardashian brood, but that doesn't seem to matter to her anymore ... she now has her own celebrity -- not attached to Kylie -- and her eyelash line -- Eylure -- has taken off.

Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott are planning a family vacation with one goal in mind ... healing their damaged relationship.

Sources close to the couple tell TMZ ... the fam's first order of business when Travis gets a break from his Astroworld tour next week is a family trip with no distractions -- so they can focus on spending time together with baby Stormi.

As we reported ... Kylie, Travis and Stormi went to dinner as a family Thursday night, the first time we've seen them all together since the billionaire accused the rapper of cheating. We're told the parents' relationship is getting back on track after an epic blowup, but a family vacay will go a long ways towards mending their wounds.

What's interesting ... they chose to chow down at Sweet Chick, a restaurant which is co-owned by Nas. It's super popular, and it's a scene. Paparazzi are almost guaranteed, so it's clear they wanted to be seen.

Kylie and Travis are serious about the "no distractions" part of the trip ... we're told they're clearing their schedules and asking a travel agent to find a beach in another country, where they can relax in peace.

Looks like Kylie's already looking forward to enjoying some family fun in the sun.

Frank Shamrock says he didn't mean to hurt the dog he tied to a truck and left at an airport ... telling TMZ Sports, "I know what I did was wrong, but there was no way out of it."

As we previously reported, the UFC legend is under investigation after cops say he abandoned a dog at Dallas Love Field Airport ... leaving it tethered to the bed of a pickup truck for 5 days.

Now, Shamrock is explaining to us why he did it ... saying, "I had no other solution to solve that problem."

The former fighter tells us his mother is ailing, and when he traveled to Texas earlier this month to take care of her ... he realized she was in no condition to own dogs anymore.

Shamrock says he tried his best to find new homes for the animals ... but just could not find a place for Zelda.

"I called everybody in Dallas, I tried everything humanly possible to get care for the dog, to let people know that we could not take the dog."

Shamrock says his search for a new home for Zelda lasted up until just minutes before he had to board a plane back home ... so he decided the best thing to do was to tie her up with food and water and call security to come get her.

The problem? Security never found her, and she was stuck in the pickup bed for 5 days before police officers rescued her.

Now, Frank tells us he's heartbroken over the whole ordeal ... mostly because he can't believe people at the airport let her stay in the truck for that long without getting her.

"The dog stayed there for five days. I can't believe that," Shamrock said through tears ... "That wasn't what I was intending. I thought they would come get it."

Frank is now under investigation by the Dallas Police Department, who tell us they are expecting to file a charge of Cruelty to Non-Livestock Animals -- a Class A Misdemeanor -- against the former fighter.

Shamrock says he'll accept any charges, telling us, "I take responsibility for what has happened."

As for Zelda, a spokesperson for the SPCA of Texas tells us she's doing just fine since the incident -- and has received "a ton of TLC" and care while she's been in the organization's custody.

The spokesperson also tells us they expect to put Zelda up for adoption within the next few days.

4:00 PM PT -- R. Kelly's rep, Darrell Johnson, says the meeting was only canceled because Joycelyn insisted on it going down in Chicago, while her family was demanding it happen someplace between Chicago and Atlanta.

Sources in Kelly's camp provided this audio recording of a phone conversation Johnson had 14 days ago with the Savage family's attorney, Gerald Griggs. Take a listen, it's pretty clear both sides were going to have trouble coming to any agreement.

For his part, Griggs tells us the Savages intended to acquiesce and meet Joycelyn in Chi town, but Johnson never got back to them after the phone call. Griggs says they didn't hear back from him until AFTER Johnson was grilled Friday by the Chicago reporter.

1:33 PM -- According to Griggs, R. Kelly's team reached out to the Savages to say they're no longer going to help coordinate a meeting. It's unclear why Kelly's team pulled a 180.

R. Kelly's team is having a hard time arranging a meeting between Joycelyn Savage and her parents ... because both sides can't agree on a location.

R. Kelly's rep, Darrell Johnson, tells TMZ ... Joycelyn is not opposed to meeting with her mom and dad, but she only wants to meet them in Chicago. We're told the Savage family wants to meet Joycelyn at her grandmother's home -- which is outside the Windy City -- because Grandma's battling cancer.

The Savages have made it clear from the beginning ... they want to meet in a neutral location outside of Chicago.

So, both sides remain at a standstill ... even though it's been two weeks since R. Kelly's team agreed to set up a meeting between Joycelyn and her fam.

The Savages' family attorney, Gerald Griggs, tells TMZ ... there's no planned meeting in place, and he can't force one to happen.

Earlier Friday, Kelly's publicist was asked about orchestrating a meeting between Joycelyn and her family ... but he dodged the question.

As we've reported ... whenever the meeting goes down, the Savages plan to bring a psychologist with them to evaluate their daughter.

Joycelyn is alleged to be one of Kelly's "sex slaves" and the Savages have been doing everything they can to set up a face-to-face meeting with her.

Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott appear to be on the path of total reconciliation ... grabbing dinner together with their daughter.

The billionaire, Travis and Stormi hit up Sweet Chick -- co-owned by Nas -- Thursday night in L.A. It's the first time we've seen the famous unit together since Kylie accused Travis of cheating, triggering an epic blowup. The couple didn't say much as they left the restaurant and piled into a car.

It appears Travis and Kylie were headed to another spot, because Travis loaded Stormi into a different vehicle ... apparently sending his daughter home for beddy-bye as they hit the town.

TMZ broke the story ... Kylie allegedly found evidence last month on Travis' phone that he was unfaithful after the rapper made a surprise visit home. Travis canceled a show in Buffalo in an attempt to calm things down, but if it worked it did so only marginally.

Sources close to the couple told us, while they never officially split over the fight, their relationship was strained ... and they'd need time to figure things out.

As for Kylie and Jordyn ... looks like they're never gonna figure it out.

Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods still aren't talking much, and at this point ... Kylie's given up on making up and is moving on.

Sources close to the former best friends tell TMZ ... the two haven't made any real progress in mending their fractured relationship over the past few weeks, and have been mostly incommunicado since Jordyn's appearance on "Red Table Talk."

We're told Woods' interview with Jada Pinkett Smith -- in which she denied actually cheating with Tristan Thompson -- had the opposite effect of winning Kylie back. Instead, Kylie was more steadfast than ever that Jordyn wronged Khloe ... and their friendship would never be the same.

Our sources say Jordyn's stuff is still at Kylie's guest house ... but Kylie's certainly not going to stop her from coming to pick it up soon so they can officially go their separate ways.

Kylie's still open to being amicable with Jordyn in the future, we're told ... but their bestie days are a thing of the past.

Hilary Duff's home once again attracted an unwanted visitor ... but luckily she and her BF were home to scare his ass away.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Hilary and her baby daddy -- music producer Matthew Koma -- were home Tuesday night in the kitchen of her Beverly Hills home when, at around 8:30, they noticed a man lurking around their backyard.

It's unclear exactly how but we're told Hilary and Matthew managed to scare away the intruder before calling police. Cops showed up and, while doing a perimeter search, they noticed a window screen had been removed, though the intruder never actually made it inside the house.

Our sources say cops dispatched extra patrols around the area but cops continue to investigate since the man's still on the loose. Unsettling for sure, especially after what happened to Hilary back in 2017.

As we first reported ... someone broke into the same pad and the thief or thieves made off with bling worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. Goes without saying ... Hilary and Matthew are more worried about an even more precious treasure in the home ... their 4-month old daughter.

Elizabeth Holmes is being outed as a fraud of epic proportions in the business world, but there's nothing deceitful about her curiously low voice ... so says her family.

Elizabeth, the disgraced Silicon Valley hotshot, is the subject of a new HBO documentary chronicling the meteoric rise and spectacular fall of her company, Theranos ... all the result of Elizabeth falsely claiming she discovered a way to revolutionize blood testing.

Elizabeth wowed world titans like Bill Clinton, George Schultz and Henry Kissinger, partly with her intoxicating pipes. But, a Stanford professor featured on the doc and others say even Elizabeth's voice was BS ... they say she faked it. Viewers of the doc made "voice" the buzzword for fraud.

Her family, however, is calling BS on the doubters.

Elizabeth's family members tell us her voice is naturally low. We're told most people in the fam have low voices, including her grandmother, and Elizabeth will occasionally change her pitch to a higher octave -- especially when she gets excited or passionate.

As for Elizabeth's fraudulent business practice ... her family tells us they're standing behind her and remaining supportive.

Her company went from being valued at more than $9 billion to below zero. She's also been indicted for allegedly defrauding investors out of hundreds of millions of dollars and deceiving hundreds of patients and doctors with the bogus blood test. She's pled not guilty.

YG and his baby mama are back at it -- the couple's expecting their second child together, and TMZ's learned their daughter is going to have a little sister!

Sources close to the rapper have confirmed with us ... YG's baby mama, Catelyn Sparks, is pregnant with a baby girl. We're told she's due this summer ... sometime in July.

The 2 have one child together already -- their 3-year-old little girl named Harmony.

YG and Catelyn have a couple of baby registries, like most expecting parents -- at Buy Buy Baby and Target -- and it's pretty much what you'd expect ... strollers, pacifiers, baby bottles, a rubber duckie -- you get the picture.

One more fun fact -- we're told DJ Mustard's baby mama, Chanel, who's also pregnant and due very soon, has been Sparks' companion to several maternity classes -- and that's ON TOP of each already having 3-year-old girls. We know the fellas like to hang out together too.

Paris Jackson's had a turbulent week, but despite a suicide scare and family strife ... she's still in the mood for comedy.

We got Michael Jackson's daughter outside Largo in L.A. Tuesday night dressed like someone ready to have some fun. She's with her BF, Gabriel Glenn, and doesn't talk much ... other than saying everything's going okay.

As for her headwear -- Paris was on her way into the club to check out Macaulay Culkin's "Bunny Ears" podcast ... with special guest "Weird Al" Yancovic. As you know, Culkin was close with Paris' father and is Paris' Godfather ... hopefully, his show provided some levity for her.

We broke the story ... Paris was hospitalized Saturday after attempting suicide, which we're told was triggered by the fallout from "Leaving Neverland." Those close to her are encouraging her to go to rehab, but our sources say she's refusing.

Shaan Patel's not shocked or outraged by the recent college admissions scandal, and says the ultimate fallout will be more people -- yes, even the filthy rich -- opting to take a legal route to higher scores.

Shaan's company, Prep Expert, really took off after he appeared on "Shark Tank" and convinced Mark Cuban to invest. On Tuesday's "TMZ Live," he admitted the college entrance process has always been rigged to favor 1 percenters ... hence the $1,000/hr. he's gotten as a tutor!

He says the difference between the alleged cheating/bribery scandal and courses like his is simple -- results. Make that, LEGAL results -- and he claims to have the numbers to back that up.

Still, he doesn't dodge the notion that desire to get into name-brand schools -- like Harvard, Yale, USC and Stanford -- can lead to parents making shady deals.

Ya know, like allegedly paying $500,000 to have your daughters designated as recruits for the crew team ... when they don't actually row.
