The internet has practically burst into flames after a fake dating rumor was seemingly made as a joke -- one that pinned Pete Davidson and Ice Spice as an item.

The fake rumor is the latest to grab people's attention, and it's becoming a growing trend -- while similar posts like "Curious George found dead on the highway" garners virality while obviously being a joke, this one didn't get the same results.

Twitter clearly ran with it, albeit missing the "this is satire" warning -- with many freaking out online over the dating "news."

The comedian's been compared to Marvel's Thanos, dating beautiful women like the villain takes infinity stones ... and one person even made a hilarious reference to "Breaking Bad," saying Pete "can't keep getting away with this!"

Of course, we know it's all BS -- as we reported, Pete's currently entangled with Chase Sui Wonders. The couple was recently packin' on some PDA at the Daytona 500.

Shakira is going after her ex Gerard Pique's new boo ... putting her on blast for seemingly not following the "girl code" of dating.

The singer didn't hold back in a recent interview with Mexican TV network Canal Estrellas, dragging Gerard's 23-year-old GF Clara Chia Marti by saying there's a "special place in hell" for women who don't support each other.

She also says she's become a much more independent woman since last year's split, mentioning she thought she needed a man to truly feel whole -- but that isn't the case anymore.

She notes she was always emotionally dependent on men in the past, but today she stands "sufficient on my own."

As you know, Shakira and Gerard called it quits last year ... after she says she spotted a jar of jam eaten while she was away.

Gerard and Clara went public on Instagram last month, with a close and personal pic that quickly garnered millions of likes.

If you thought Leonardo DiCaprio and Gigi Hadid were donezo, you might wanna reconsider -- because the 2 were seen leaving the same place while overseas -- though we're told there's more to the story than what the camera shows.

The actor and the model left Casa Cipriani in Milan separately Thursday night, 10 minutes apart from each other ... just hours after Gigi hit the Prada runway during Fashion Week.

Sources connected to the two tell us they were at a large party with 20 mutual friends to celebrate Edward Enninful's birthday. Enninful works at British Vogue.

Kendall Jenner and Dakota Johnson were also at the party.

Eyewitnesses tell us the 2 arrived around midnight and were sitting together inside, but things became hectic once they realized they were spotted -- Gigi tried hiding behind her bodyguard at one point.

While the two left at separate times, Leo's exit appears to be rushed.

As you know, Milan Fashion Week's in full swing, with events going down through the weekend ... and it appears Gigi wasn't the only supermodel Leo's spendin' time with.

Matthew Lawrence is praising his new girlfriend ... telling us TLC's Chilli is "one of the most spectacular people" he's ever known.

She admits, "It’s hard to find people who have the same goals -- especially when they’re younger and want to start a family."

Kristin was adamant about not having more kids unless she met the "love of my freaking life and he wanted one and didn’t have any, maybe, but like, I don’t think so."

She says she's been dating a bit, but nothing serious. "I’m just not in a place for it right now, which is fine.”

Morgan Evans is pointin' fingers at his ex-wife Kelsea Ballerini, claiming what she's been saying about their relationship as it crumbled is far from the truth.

The Australian county singer shared his concerns Tuesday night, saying the things Kelsea has been touting "aren't reality" ... and adding she left out "what really happened."

He doesn't go too much into detail about his side of the story, but notes "If this is what she needs to heal, I hope it helps." He then asks fans to not be mean to him, Kelsea, or each other.

For those unaware, Morgan's post came soon after the trailer dropped for Kelsea's episode on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast ... which highlights the lead-up to their divorce from her perspective, and she calls it a nasty split.

The comedian and his "Bodies Bodies Bodies" costar enjoyed their Sunday at NASCAR's Super Bowl in Daytona Beach, Florida -- and they were inseparable throughout the action while mobbin' around the famous racing event.

The couple toured the Daytona International Speedway track, and then, at one point, they got up into a box -- where they just couldn't keep their hands off each other.

They strapped on red earmuffs, wrapped their arms around one another, and locked lips -- all while cars whizzed by on the track just feet away.

Of course, this ain't the first time we've seen the two kissing ... just last month, they gave each other a big smooch during a date at Universal Studios Hollywood.

So as you can see, the relationship appears to be getting pretty serious.

Paris Hilton has opened up more about her dating life before finally finding the one ... revealing that she thought she was asexual before meeting her husband, Carter Reum.

The reality star/entrepreneur got candid in an interview with Harper's Bazaar, saying she spent a good amount of time in her 20s questioning her sexuality. She said, "I was known as a sex symbol, but anything sexual terrified me."

Paris has been known to date some pretty famous guys in the past ... but says she often struggled. She continued, "I called myself the ‘kissing bandit’ because I only liked to make out. A lot of my relationships didn’t work out because of that."

She says that all changed in 2019, when she met her now hubby at a friend's Thanksgiving shindig and realized they had chemistry like no other....  "It wasn’t until Carter that I finally am not that way ... I enjoy hooking up with my husband."

Lil Tjay upgraded Ice Spice's wrist game on Valentine's Day with a $150K Richard Mille watch, but before you assume what time it is ... both rappers tell us it's just what "friends" do.

Sources close to Ice Spice tell TMZ Hip Hop the duo isn't a romantic couple, but Tjay still wanted to get her something sentimental to celebrate their "Gangsta Boo" collaboration charting on the Billboard Hot 100.

NYC-based Benny the Jeweler revealed Tjay's six-figure souvenir to be an RM-05 Rose Gold, complete with a white band, and it just happened to be ready for pickup on February 14.

Rachel Recchia is NOT back with Clayton Echard ... despite the 'Bachelor' stars suggesting their romance was alive and well in a recent video.

As for Joe himself, he was nowhere to be seen as Taylor walked the red carpet in a sweet-looking blue dress. He hardly shows up for these things anyway -- and even more rarely appears with Taylor at all in public. That's not to say they aren't together ... 'cause they are.

You'll recall ... she was just spotted out with Joe back in October of last year during a nice day in NYC -- and earlier that same summer, the two of them were seen cozying up on a romantic vacation in the Bahamas ... where they looked very much in love in the water.

Keep in mind ... she's been dating this guy -- a relatively low key British actor -- since at least 2017. So, they've been going strong for a minute now ... breaking past their 30s together.
