Baker Mayfield Outswags Tom Brady ... at Kentucky Derby

Published | Updated

Can you spot the G.O.A.T.?!

He's behind the dude in SWAG pink suit!

Check this out ... a bunch of NFL stars are hanging together in Kentucky right now -- gearing up for the Kentucky Derby.

Baker Mayfield's front and center -- with an incognito Tom Brady blending in behind him.

Indianapolis Colts QB Jacoby Brissett -- Tom's former backup -- is in the bottom left ... standing next to Julian Edelman.

Also in the mix ... ex-Patriots' Lonie Paxton and Dan Koppen.

TB12 is a regular at the Derby -- so is his coach, Bill Belichick. Unclear if Bill has made it to Churchill Downs yet.

We already reported L.A. Rams head coach Sean McVay is in town with his smokin' hot girlfriend.

Expect a TON of other huge stars to make their way to Louisville before Saturday's big race!

DeSean Jackson Honoring Nipsey ... w/ Custom Cleats All Season

Published | Updated

It's 4 months until the NFL season ... but DeSean Jackson already has his game cleats picked out -- the Eagles star is honoring Nipsey Hussle with his spikes for the ENTIRE year.

The Philadelphia WR is set to wear custom cleats with Nipsey's face and lyrics on them all season long ... and Marcus Rivero AKA Soles By Sir has already designed Jackson's first pair of kicks.

The footwear -- one painted all blue and the other designed with black and white checkers -- has Nipsey's face on one side and famous lyrics on the other.

Rivero tells TMZ Sports Jackson specifically requested the designs ... and tells us there will be more custom shoes to follow in the near future.

Jackson said of the spikes on social media, "'Lock us behind gates but can’t tame us' Used to be stay safe, now it’s stay dangerous NipDaGr8 Ima rep every game 4 you Loc TMC"

DeSean is just the latest athlete to honor Nipsey -- who was murdered in late March -- joining guys like Clippers star Montrezl Harrell, who just wore his own set of custom Hussle sneakers for their playoff games last month.

Superstars like Russell Westbrook -- who dedicated his famous 20-20-20 game to Nipsey -- and LeBron James have also honored Nipsey with tributes the last few weeks.

Barbara Corcoran Death Becomes Her For Creepy 70th Birthday

Published | Updated

We had no idea Barbara Corcoran from "Shark Tank" was THIS twisted ... but ya gotta love a birthday party that doubles as a funeral!

Yes, that's Barbara all snug as a bug inside a casket -- her idea of a surprise for her friends and family members who had shown up to celebrate her 70th birthday last weekend. Once the shock wore off ... it looks like everyone was in on the creepy and totally morbid bash thrown in Manhattan.

Her fellow Sharks, including Mark Cuban and Daymond John and Robert Herjavec, gathered around her casket to pay their respects. Daymond even gave her a kiss!

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Barbara eventually popped up to join the party ... in a Carolina Herrera gown no less. Think "Finnegans Wake" (look it up) -- she IS part Irish, after all.

As funerals have often been described as the best party you don't get to attend, BC decided to design a workaround. As she put it, "What the heck, you only die once, you might as well be around for it!"

Okay, we admit it ... we're dying to see what she does for 71.

Horse Racing Legend Sues Amazon Over 'Tacky' Shirt You Stole My Catchphrase!

Published | Updated

An Amazon spokesperson declined to directly address the lawsuit, but told us ... "Amazon respects intellectual property rights and requires selling partners to do the same when listing items for sale on Amazon. Any selling partner that has violated our policies will be held accountable."

The guy who created the horse racing catchphrase "And down the stretch they come" is suing Amazon.com ... claiming the company jacked his signature call to make a crappy "tacky" shirt.

The man behind the suit is Dave Johnson -- who's been calling horse races for more then 40 years! Johnson famously created the call and uses it at the biggest races in the sport from the Kentucky Derby to the Preakness and the Belmont.

Johnson says he owns the trademark for the phrase intended to block other people from profiting from his work.

But, DJ is now declaring war on Amazon -- claiming they began selling a "Down the Stretch They Come" shirt in 2018 without his permission ... and he's pissed.

In fact, Johnson trashes the shirt as a "tacky, low quality, over-priced" item that's tarnishing his good name.

Johnson points out other broadcasters who have ferociously protected their catchphrases ... from Dick Vitale's "Awesome baby" to Michael Buffer's "Let's Get Ready to Rumble!"

Now, Johnson wants a judge to stop Amazon from selling the shirt -- noting he wants all remaining shirts to be recalled and destroyed ASAP.

He also wants ALL of the profits Amazon has made from the shirt ... plus additional damages.

Interesting timing on the suit considering the Kentucky Derby is just a few days away.

Kanye West New Shoes Lacking Sole

Published | Updated

Kanye West is light on his feet ... thanks to some new minimalist footwear that looks like it came straight from outer space.

Ye was out and about in Calabasas Sunday -- still feeling the purple vibes from his Sunday Service at Coachella -- while showing off a prototype of shoes without shoestrings ... and offers very little in the sole department.

Take a closer look -- they're pretty much the opposite of his current standard Yeezys.

Kanye's not one for complacency or sticking with the norm, so we should have known a change to his style was coming .... but still, these are pretty far out there.

It's unclear if the snug moon boots will be made available to the public, how much they'll cost, or what they're called ... but they do look pretty comfortable.

Comfeezys? We'd buy that.

LeBron James Sends 'Very Special' Gift to Canelo ... Before Jacobs Fight

Published | Updated

Canelo Alvarez has some BIG fans in his corner -- LeBron James and Maverick Carter -- and to show their support, they just hooked the boxer up with some SUPER HOT kicks!!!

LeBron's business partner just took a trip to Canelo's training camp in San Diego where Alvarez is gearing up to fight Daniel Jacobs on May 4. And, you better believe he didn't come empty-handed.

Carter presented Canelo with a pair of the new LeBron 16 "Martin" shoes -- which have already become some of the most coveted shoes on the market.

"You like sneakers?" Carter asks ... "These just came out. Very special."

Canelo is stoked -- and tells Carter to give his thanks to LeBron.

As we previously reported, Bron and Carter are producing a docuseries on the fight for DAZN called "40 Days" which premieres Tuesday night ... and will show how Canelo is preparing for the bout.

The series also features Canelo's promoter Oscar De La Hoya -- but if he wants a pair of LeBrons, he's gonna have to pay for 'em!!!

Jeff Goldblum & Emilie Livingston Everything's Roses ... Down on Melrose

Published | Updated

Here's a little something to make your day a bit brighter -- or a lot -- Jeff Goldblum and his wife, Emilie Livingston, acting like high school sweethearts who are deeply in love.

Jeff and Emilie were strolling down Melrose Ave. Tuesday in L.A., hand-in-hand and smiling gleefully while doing it. He's rocking the perfect shirt, too -- a rose-patterned button-down on Melrose. Works for him!!!

Em looked great too, but Jeff's in a baller class of his own.

As for why the couple was so damn happy -- well, they have lots of reasons. Jeff's about to get his own docuseries on Disney's new streaming service, aptly called the "The World According to Jeff Goldblum." He dives into the history and science of everyday objects.

JG ... never a dull moment.

Pastor Carl Lentz $plurges, But Not Like Other Pastors Sneakers Over Jets, Baby!!!

Published | Updated

Turns out, Carl Lentz -- the pastor at Hillsong church who's tight with Justin Bieber and Kevin Durant -- is a sneakerhead who splurges ... but responsibly, he says.

We got Carl Monday at LAX and had to first ask him about the sick sneakers we spotted him wearing ... a pair of Air Jordan XXXIII SE shoes that begged the question -- is it okay for men and women of the cloth to splurge on expensive stuff?

He admits the optics ain't necessarily great when, say, a pastor tells his congregation he needs a private jet (true story) or when pastors wear shoes worth thousands. There's even an Instagram account @preachersnsneakers that documents such spending.

Carl says, like all pastors, he draws a salary and what he chooses to buy with his money is his business -- within reason, of course. He also encourages lay people to ask questions if something looks fishy.

That being said ... Carl's got a favorite pair of kicks in his closet, and spilled the beans to us. Hint: they've got King written all over them, and could go for thousands, although CL says he got in on the ground floor.

Happy Holy Week!

Yasiel Puig Power Shopping In Bev Hills ... Before Late Dodgers Arrival

Published | Updated
Yasiel Puig Was Shopping In Bev Hills Before Late Dodgers Arrival
SHOP TILL YA DROP

Yasiel Puig was more than AN HOUR late to Dodger Stadium on Monday -- missing a ring presentation from his former boss -- and it's all because he was out SHOPPING!

TMZ Sports shot video of the Cincinnati Reds star lunching at Il Pastaio in Beverly Hills around noon -- and then going on a fancy shopping spree to some of the most expensive shops in L.A. ... James Perse, Saint Laurent and more.

Our photog says Puig ventured out to Rodeo Drive and shopped until at least 3 PM -- the exact time Puig was scheduled to meet with media members at Dodger Stadium.

The former Dodgers outfielder didn't get to the Stadium until 4:10 -- missing a planned media session.

Also, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts and owner Mark Walter tried to meet with all of the Dodgers who were traded to the Reds this off-season to present them with their 2018 NLCS rings ... but since Puig was tardy, he missed that moment too.

Instead, Roberts and Walter met with Matt Kemp, Kyle Farmer and Alex Wood outside the Reds clubhouse ... while Puig was still M.I.A.

The good news for Puig ... when he did finally show up, he showed out -- smacking a 2-run home run off Clayton Kershaw in the 1st inning.

The Dodgers battled back and ended up winning the game on a Joc Pederson walk-off home run in the 9th inning ... a home run that sailed right over Puig's head in right field.

Lonzo Ball Ends Big Baller Brand Boycott ... Rocks BBB Footwear

STILL LOYAL?

Seems Lonzo Ball may have had a change of heart about the Big Baller Brand boycott -- because he's rocking his signature ZO2 slides again ... even after covering his BBB tattoo.

The L.A. Lakers star wasn't talking when we spotted him at LAX on Monday -- but he made a pretty big statement with his footwear ... the famous $200 Big Baller Brand slides.

Remember, Lonzo's manager, Darren Moore, called for a boycott of all BBB products -- after learning BBB co-founder Alan Foster allegedly stole $1.5 million from Lonzo.

Moore was upset, he started the hashtag #DumpUrMech -- and filmed himself throwing his ZO2 in the garbage. In the following days, Lonzo covered up the BBB tattoo on his arm.

Lonzo's dad, LaVar Ball, has since stated the brand is not dead -- and claims his family is sticking together through the drama.

As of this post, the BBB website is down -- so, it seems they're no longer selling expensive shoes and slides.

There were rumblings Lonzo is on the hunt for a new shoe endorsement deal -- but now that he's back in BBB's, we're wondering if he's interested in salvaging the family brand.

Stay tuned ...

Hailey Bieber Cashing In On Last Name ... Life is Beautiful

Published | Updated

Justin Bieber might be taking a break from his career, but Hailey's stepping up for the couple and taking care of business ... the beauty business.

According to new legal docs obtained by TMZ ... Hailey's company filed trademark paperwork for "Bieber Beauty" with the intent of launching a beauty and cosmetic products line under the brand name.

Justin's wife's new venture would be a nice complement for those looking for more Bieber gear and accessories -- as you know ... he launched his own Drew House clothing line earlier this year.

Hailey also filed to register "Hailey Bieber" back in October for the purposes of launching her own clothing line.

As we reported ... Justin recently announced he's taking a step back from his music to focus on his health and his marriage, citing some "deep rooted issues" he needs to address.

Hailey's clearly not letting that stop her from continuing to grind ... someone's gotta bring home the bacon.

Tiger Woods Sneaker Tribute from Chris Paul ... After Masters Win

Published | Updated

This is pretty cool ... Chris Paul was so proud of his pal, Tiger Woods, for winning the Masters on Sunday, he honored his friend with a pair of custom Tiger-themed kicks!!

Chris and the Houston Rockets took on the Utah Jazz after Tiger's comeback -- so, Paul decided to make a few alterations to his red CP3.12s to pay homage to the golfer.

BTW, Chris and Tiger have been friends for years -- with Chris previously crediting Woods with getting him into golf in the first place.

They've been spotted on various courses together several times in the past.

As for Paul, he won too -- the Rockets smashed the Jazz 122 to 90.

Unclear who actually crafted the custom Tiger shoes. We're looking into it.

8:13 AM PT -- A rep for Nike tells us the shoe was the product of a "partnership between Chris and our performance footwear team" ... and note that it was actually made by Jordan Brand.

Nipsey Hussle Marathon Merch Selling Out Fast!!! Thanks to Famous Friends

Published | Updated

Meek Mill and The Game are just a few of the celebs who went on a MASSIVE shopping spree at Nipsey Hussle's Marathon store ... just their small way to help out the fam.

We're told in the last few days, and in the lead up to the late rapper's celebration of life at Staples Center ... items have been flying off the shelves after Meek, Game and others made it their mission to stop by the famous store on Slauson Ave. to drop tons of cash.

T.I., 2 Chainz and NBA stars, J.R. Smith, DeMar DeRozan and Al Harrington are just some of the other celebs who did their part. We're told they refused to accept any free items and would only pay for the items they selected.

You can see in the video posted on Instagram by Meek ... the store's been nearly wiped out. That particular corner's been incredibly busy as of late. Hundreds of fans have stopped by leaving candles, flowers and notes for the legendary rapper who was tragically murdered earlier this month.

Tens of thousands of fans mourned the rapper one last time at his celebration of life ... with a procession that marched right by The Marathon Clothing store.
