Sarah Palin's eldest daughter, Bristol Palin, has been hounded by stalkers for years -- and after little help from the criminal justice system ... she's taken matters into her own hands.

We talked to Bristol for a new documentary airing Monday at 9 PM ET/8 Central on FOX -- delving into the horrors of famous people who've had to battle obsessed fans ... to the point their lives have been put at risk, including BP here -- whose history with this is well-documented.

The incidents for Bristol date back to the mid-2010s ... and they were all harrowing.

In the years since, Bristol hasn't shied away from the fact that she exercises her 2nd Amendment right to bear arms -- something she touches on here in our sit-down with her.

Check it out ... she describes the anxiety she lives with in the aftermath of everything she's gone through -- and explains why she feels protecting herself, her home and her family is absolutely essential in her daily life going forward.

Part of the reason she feels she needs to go to these extremes is because the law itself is simply too lenient when it comes to stalking -- and doesn't do enough to deter them.

We get far more into the topic in the doc itself -- titled 'TMZ Investigates: Obsessed and Dangerous: Hollywood’s Stalker Crisis' -- and cover more stars who've dealt with this.

Jacob Elordi took over the reins at 'SNL' Saturday night, and his monologue predictably began with THAT "Saltburn" sex scene.

SPOILER -- Jacob's character, Felix, dies and Barry Keoghan's character has sex on his grave.

Jacob got straight to the point ... "If you saw the movie, thank you. If you saw the movie with your parents, I'm sorry. If you saw the movie with your girlfriend, you're welcome."

The Aussie actor, who kicked off the first "SNL" of the year, took questions from the audience/cast, including one where he was asked about that "gross" scene in his movie. Poor Jacob thought it was about "Saltburn," but she was actually referring to "The Kissing Booth."

No sign of Olivia Jade during the show ... but she was spotted at an afterparty ... the two've been dating since the end of 2021. She was there during rehearsals.

Jacob's on quite the run ... aside from "Saltburn" and "Kissing Booth," he starred in "Priscilla" last year. He also stars in "He Went That Way," which was released earlier this month.

Ja Rule is excited to be an uncle once again -- through Ashanti and Nelly's pending bundle of joy, and he thinks parenthood will be a cinch for them.

TMZ Hip Hop caught up with Ja Thursday in NYC, where he told us he's been tracking the news updates on his forever collaborator/friend just like everyone else.

Now, Ja stopped short of confirming the baby buzz is true -- but Ashanti and Nelly have, seemingly, leaned into the reports they're expecting their first child together.

They still won't say for sure, so much like Halle Bailey and DDG, we might just have to wait and see if the stork delivers.

Ja's had several youngins of his own, so, naturally, he had some advice for Ashanti and Nelly on how best to raise their little tyke ... assuming there's really one in the oven.

BTW, JR's also expecting -- not a tiny human, but the release of his first album in well over a decade.

He told us fans can expect a project reminiscent of "all" of his previous sounds.

Darez Diggs -- the brother of NFL superstars Stefon Diggs and Trevon Diggs -- has just been sued over his alleged role in a violent elevator attack last year.

Cristopher Griffith filed the lawsuit against the former XFL player on Tuesday ... alleging Darez and several others beat him up as he was getting off an elevator at his Downtown Los Angeles apartment building on May 29.

Griffith said in the suit the attack left him with pain, suffering and emotional distress. He's also suing Darez for $100,000 in jewelry and other property he claims he had on his person during the incident.

Griffith is suing the owner of the apartment complex for unspecified damages as well.

The alleged altercation, of course, was captured on video obtained by TMZ Sports. The footage appears to show Darez standing by as two other men kick and punch Griffith inside the lift.

The clip also appears to show the men taking Griffith's jewelry, before leaving the area.

A spokesperson for the LAPD told us on Wednesday authorities are still investigating the matter ... and no arrests have been made.

Another week has come and gone at TMZ -- and best believe we covered all the big hits in Hollywood on our shows ... which ran the gamut from serious to downright fun(ny).

Kicking things off with 'TMZ Live,' we dove right in on the newest Alec Baldwin news -- namely, that he's being recharged in the ongoing 'Rust' criminal case ... from which he was absolved for a while -- that is, until Friday ... when he got with new charges again.

Harvey and Charles were asking the obvious question -- what changed between them dropping the initial charges and this new one ... and they think they have an idea.

Over on the 'TMZ on TV' side of things ... the gang talked about these new hints that Justin Timberlake's dropping new music, and seems to be calling his album a certain title.

We did some digging and pieced together what that may be -- but the larger takeaway here is ... JT needs this one to do it big, 'cause he's kinda been slacking in the hits department.

Last but not least ... we come to 'TMZ Sports,' where Babcock and Mojo chopped it up with none other than Rob Gronkowski -- who says he's ready to rage ahead of the Super Bowl.

Here is a 35-year-old version of the blonde beauty rockin' her iconic red lip after receiving her "Most Downloaded Song of All Time" award for her song "Hollaback Girl" back in 2005 (left). This was just a year after the hit banger went viral worldwide.

And, 19 years later the punk-rock princess is still lookin' red-hot -- recently being inducted into the Orange County Hall of Fame (right).

With the latest announcement of her and her No Doubt band members heading to Coachella '24, one can only hope they'll have you feelin' hella good ... and keep on dancin'!

The question is ...

Beverly Johnson's opening up about racism she says she faced during her career ... but one moment's kinda new to her -- despite happening about 40 years ago.

The 71-year-old -- who became the first Black model on the cover of Vogue almost 50 years ago -- revealed she once went swimming at a hotel ... and they drained the pool after she hopped out.

Here's the deal ... BJ told Page Six she pulled up to Eileen Ford's 90th birthday party back in 2012 -- about two years before EF died -- and her friends were talking about the old days when someone asked if she remembered a certain hotel draining the pool back in the '80s.

Bev says she was shocked -- she had no idea that happened way back when ... and though she didn't know about it back then, she's sure it was racism. FYI, Johnson won't name the hotel ... saying she's not looking to get sued.

The mother-of-one added tons of stuff like that would happen to her in the modeling world just because of her skin color ... she didn't elaborate with Page Six, but her 2015 memoir 'The Face That Changed It All' and her 2020 op-ed about persistent racism in the industry both hit on other instances.

Another interesting part of the interview -- Beverly revealed model Lauren Hutton always went to bat for her when it came to modeling opportunities.

Johnson said LH would "go to photo shoots and say out loud, ‘Why isn’t Beverly on the cover of magazines? She is just as pretty,'" adding that Lauren was the "it girl" at the time, so her words meant something ... basically get you a friend like Lauren Hutton!

BTW ... Beverly's doing press to promote her new one-woman show coming to Off-Broadway titled "Beverly Johnson In Vogue." She seems pretty jazzed about it -- just look how excited she was when we caught up with her in NYC.

Marlena Shaw -- best known for her song "California Soul" -- has died ... according to her daughter.

The legendary jazz and R&B singer passed away Friday afternoon Marlena's daughter Marla said in a video she posted to Facebook. She did not give a cause of death.

MS' most famous track is "California Soul" -- a song originally performed by The Messengers, but one she covered and made famous ... that's had a lasting impact on hip hop and popular culture at large.

A few of the hit properties that featured the songs ... "The Italian Job," "The Lincoln Lawyer," "All Things Must Pass," "Pixie," the TV series "Bad Sisters" and video game "Grand Theft Auto V."

It's also taken on a second life in the world of hip hop sampling ... Gang Starr, The Game and Jay Rock, Elzhi, Quasimoto, Jay Electronica, Laika and Xzhibit are just a few of the stars who've sampled the song in one form or another.

"California Soul" is her most enduring classic, but Shaw had a number of other hits too including "Feel Like Making Love," "Loving You Was Like A Party," "Go Away Little Boy" and "Is You or Is You Ain't My Baby" -- another song she covered that bagged her a Grammy nod back in 1990.

Marlena was 81.

5:35 PM PT -- We talked to a rep for Blue Adventures by Stuart Cove -- the business that runs the shark experience at the resort ... who tells us the maximum number of participants is five and a group of five would be accompanied by three chaperones.

The encounter depicted in the vids featured three guests with two team members in the water at all times.

The Atlantis Bahamas resort shut down its shark tank after a child was attacked ... and now we have an idea of how the excursion operated days before the tragedy.

A couple clips -- obtained by TMZ -- show guests heading down into one of the resort's tanks last Saturday ... just two days before a 10-year-old was attacked by one of the sharks.

Guests are all donning big white helmets while staff members are floating around in more traditional scuba suits -- and the ratio seems a bit skewed, with a lot more guests than employees floating around.

And, check out how near the guests are getting to the underwater beasts ... talk about up close and personal!

Our sources tell us ... the tank's got about 15-20 sharks with the largest measuring about eight feet. Three chaperones help the guests get into the water and walk around for about 20 minutes -- before sending them back to the water park.

In terms of whether or not that's safe ... we can't say for sure -- we're not experts on the subject ... and this wasn't taken at the time of the attack, so we don't know if this is the same setup the resort had going Monday -- what we do know is it look like a whole bunch of tourists getting real familiar with some massive sharks.

We broke the story ... shocking video showed the aftermath of the brutal attack on a 10-year-old -- with people screaming and what appeared to be employees in blue shirts running for help.

The Royal Bahamas Police Force said the boy -- on vacation from Maryland -- got bit on the right leg and was taken to the hospital ... thankfully, he was in stable condition, and Atlantis shut down their tanks immediately.

We've reached out to the resort for comment ... so far no word back.

Taylor Swift's NYC townhouse got an unwanted visitor Saturday ... and police arrested him on an unrelated warrant, TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... cops received a 911 call in the afternoon for a "disorderly person" and responded to Taylor's fancy Manhattan neighborhood, where the pop superstar owns some pricey real estate.

When they arrived, the officers encountered the unruly man and soon learned he tried but failed to access Taylor's building, our sources say.

Whether he knew it was Taylor's crib or not is anybody's guess, but we've obtained photos of the guy standing right outside the front door of her building. Creepy!!!

Other images show NYPD cops cuffing the dude and shoving him into the back of a police cruiser.

We're told police ran a background check on the unnamed suspect and arrested him on a 2017 warrant for failing to answer a court summons in Brooklyn. It was unclear what the warrant was for. NYPD officials have not indicated whether they will recommend charges for this latest incident.

We've reached out to Taylor's team ... so far no word back.

TS' got more than enough reason to be nervous about people showing up at her place ... she's got a long, documented history with stalkers -- one was arrested less than two years ago for trying to get into her Manhattan home.

Meek Mill must be feeling a lot like one of his songs right now ... because his day is "Going Bad" -- after he asked what seemed an innocent question on X.

The Philly-born rapper took to the social media network formerly known as Twitter Saturday morning where he asked his followers if he's big on other continents ... specifically Africa.

MM asked, "Do a lot of people play my music in South Africa I remember having on big show [there a] few years back … how do yall listen to our music in South Africa???? On what platform or in Nigeria?"

A seemingly innocuous question ... Meek's probably not super well-versed on how other countries and cultures consume music -- but the internet gave him no mercy and instead relentlessly roasted the man.

"Cocaine Bear" producers might have a sequel ... 'cause a man was allegedly caught using another creature to smuggle blow -- and underwater sequences are all the rage.

Zacharie Scott was arrested at John F. Kennedy Airport International Airport in NYC Friday for allegedly attempting to smuggle coke inside bags of frozen jumbo shrimp.

The 22-year-old -- who lives in Guyana but holds U.S. citizenship -- allegedly hid bricks of the drug inside shrimp bags, essentially covering up the substance ... making for a very different kind of cocktail party.

Feds said they did a field test ... revealing traces of cocaine -- and all together, the drugs allegedly weighed more than 40 pounds! Authorities say they talked to Scott ... and he confessed to agreeing to smuggle the drugs for cash.

Scott appeared in Brooklyn Federal Court Tuesday to face charges brought by Breon Peace, the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York who's spearheading the case -- and Scott's being detained until his bail hearing on Tuesday ... if convicted, he could face up to 20 years in prison.

We've reached out to Scott's attorney for comment ... so far, no word back.

The relationship between Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco is so serious that she's now introducing him to her fatherly figure TV costars Steve Martin and Martin Short.

TMZ obtained these photos of Selena and Benny interacting with Steve and Martin on the red carpet at the 75th Annual Emmy Awards at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles last Monday.

As you may know, Selena, Steve, and Martin all star in the hit Hulu show, "Only Murders In The Building," which was up for 11 Emmy Awards, but snagged only one statue for Outstanding Production Design For A Narrative Program (Half-Hour).

Eyewitnesses tell us ... the meeting between the four celebs occurred just prior to the kick-off of the gala event. Selena was first to approach Steve and Martin on the red carpet, giving them big hugs before chatting with them a bit.

Our sources say she then introduced her record producer boyfriend, Benny, to her costars, while the three men shook hands and exchanged pleasantries.

Sources tell us everyone got along great and it seemed as if Selena was presenting her new beau for the first time to a couple of fatherly figures in her life. Of course, we can't be sure if they had ever met before this encounter.

After talking amongst each other for about five minutes, the foursome left the red carpet to go inside the theater for the awards show.

Justin Timberlake hit the stage in his hometown of Memphis Friday night to showcase his new song "Selfish" -- and the packed crowd went wild as videos of the concert surfaced on social media.

The Tennessee-born actor/musician performed for 90 minutes in front of over 1,800 fans at the Orpheum Theater in great anticipation of the release of his upcoming sixth record called "Everything I Thought It Was."

As we reported, Justin filed docs to trademark the album name, signaling fresh music was on the horizon.

As for the performance ... check out the footage of Justin dancing out onstage to the band playing his music. After taking a swig from his water bottle, Justin starts grooving to the sounds with the audience members who are shooting cell phone videos of him.

At one point, Justin turns to a fan who appears to be having some phone trouble and helps him out with his glitch. In another clip, Justin sings the song everyone's been waiting for -- "Selfish" -- while his face is dripping with sweat.

Justin ended the show by thanking the Tennessee crowd and waving goodbye before walking offstage. At the end of the concert, Justin's camp posted a trailer for his sixth album, which was narrated by actor Benicio Del Toro.

Just a little background ... speculation had run rampant recently that Justin was about to drop some fresh tuneage before he announced last week the Orpheum concert, which he dubbed, “One Night Only."
