Tyreek Hill Video Shows NFL Star Swatting At Man ... During Boat Altercation

Published | Updated

Video from Tyreek Hill's June run-in with a fishing boat employee has finally surfaced ... and it shows the NFL star did take a swipe at the man during their altercation.

The surveillance footage, obtained Wednesday by Andy Slater, was captured in a Miami marina at around 6:45 p.m. on June 18 ... and you can see Hill is clearly upset with the boat company worker.

The Miami Dolphins wideout -- wearing a light grey shirt, shorts, and white shoes -- is being held back from the man ... when he swats at the guy's head/neck area. The man then recoils as if he'd been hit -- before Hill is ushered away from the scene.

But, the video shows Hill then seemingly attempting to go after the guy again ... however, thankfully, some of the football player's friends hold him back.

Police did investigate it all ... but prosecutors said on Wednesday no charges would be filed -- saying in a statement to TMZ Sports, "The individual who would have been termed a victim if there had been a filed case, came into the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, met with Assistant State Attorney Robert Fiallo and signed a notarized Non-Prosecution Form indicating that he did not wish to press criminal charges."

"On the form, he also indicated that no threats, promises, or coercion played a part in his decision."

As for any civil matters, reps for Hill and the alleged victim told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Monday they'd reached a settlement.

For Hill's part, he spoke briefly about the situation with media members on Wednesday ... saying, "I just can't make bonehead mistakes like that."

The NFL, meanwhile, has not yet announced if it will punish Hill.

Tyreek Hill Won't Face Criminal Charges Over Boat Altercation

UPDATE

10:56 AM PT -- Tyreek Hill has now been cleared criminally in the case ... prosecutors tell TMZ Sports, "The matter is now closed with no criminal misdemeanor battery charges being filed by the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office."

UPDATE

"The individual who would have been termed a victim if there had been a filed case, came into the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, met with Assistant State Attorney Robert Fiallo and signed a notarized Non-Prosecution Form indicating that he did not wish to press criminal charges," a spokesperson for the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office said in a statement. "On the form, he also indicated that no threats, promises or coercion played a part in his decision."

Tyreek Hill is finally opening up on the June fishing boat altercation that led to a police investigation into the NFL star ... saying Wednesday it was all a "bonehead mistake."

The Dolphins wideout didn't go into much detail about the incident following Miami's training camp workout -- telling a throng of media members, "I'm not here to get into that. I'm here to play ball." But, he did shed at least some light onto the matter.

He insisted that any civil issues arising from the June 18 tiff have been "resolved" ... while adding that he's cooperating with NFL investigators. He also said of the incident, "I just can't make bonehead mistakes like that" -- before telling one journalist, "I hope everything gets situated."

As we reported ... cops initially launched a probe into Hill after a Miami fishing charter vessel employee alleged the 29-year-old receiver slapped him on the back of the neck after he had told the football player and a group of his apparent acquaintances they could not be on his boat.

Hill and his accuser, according to Adam Schefter, reached a settlement to resolve their differences on Monday ... though prosecutors said Wednesday they're still mulling charges.

As for Roger Goodell and the NFL ... they've yet to suspend Hill -- and when the speedster was asked Wednesday if he thinks a ban could be coming this year, he said, "Nah, man. When I'm able to come here and play ball, man, I get a chance to get away from all that."

The Dolphins are slated to open their preseason schedule against the Falcons on Aug. 11.

Deion Sanders is back!!!

The Colorado football head coach has returned to campus after having surgeries last week ... and he was in such a good mood, he was caught on camera dancin' and groovin' to some old-school music in his office!!

Deion Sanders Jr. posted the fun footage to Primetime's social media page Tuesday afternoon ... showing the 55-year-old Buffalo head man sitting at his desk and blasting One Way's "Push."

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

You can tell the former Dallas Cowboys star was feeling great ... 'cause he was belting out some of the lyrics, while dancing up a storm in his chair.

It's all an amazing sight ... considering what the NFL legend had to go through just a couple days ago. You'll recall, he needed another procedure on his foot ... in addition to a surgery to remove some blood clots. The time with the doctors was so serious, it actually wiped him out of his scheduled appearance at Pac-12 Media Day.

But, Sanders Jr. wrote as a caption on the vid that everything appears to be going smoothly now.

"My dads 1st day back In the office and he was happy as can be!" Sanders Jr. said. "Even tho he's supposed to be at home resting… but he said 'I’ve got to see my Dogs.'"

"We’re about to shake up college football like never b4!"

Coach Prime vowed to be ready for the Buffs' season opener against TCU ... and from the looks of everything on Tuesday, it seems like he's right on track for that.

Aaron Hernandez's Brother Arrested After Allegedly Planning School Shootings

Published | Updated

Dennis "D.J." Hernandez -- the older brother of Aaron Hernandez -- has been arrested again ... this time after cops say there was concern he had been planning school shootings at UConn and Brown University.

The disturbing allegations are all spelled out in new Bristol Police Department documents, obtained by TMZ Sports ... where cops say D.J. showed signs this month of being "gravely disabled and a danger to society."

According to the BPD, several people came forward in early July claiming D.J. had been acting erratically ... and sending alarming text messages, including one that allegedly read, "we're taking lives if s*** isn't paid up. It's been years in planning just taking notes, names and locations. They talked their way into this and it's almost point game."

Cops wrote in the docs that they were told by a woman claiming to be D.J.'s ex that instead of using her car to go to his scheduled July 7 Court date ... he actually drove to Brown Univ and UConn and "went into a number of classrooms and buildings." Cops say another person told them they believed D.J. had traveled to the campuses in order to plan school shootings.

Police say additionally, D.J. had posted messages with threatening language on his social media page on July 19 ... including one that they said read, "Will I kill? Absolutely, I've warned my enemies so pay up front."

According to the docs, police showed up at a residence D.J. was at later that day ... and a scary police standoff ensued.

Cops say they tried to get D.J. out of the home ... but he had told them that he was "on foot, armed and that if we approached him, he would kill us all." A short time later, D.J. exited the residence ... but according to cops, he "began advancing towards the police with his hands outstretched to his side."

"He began yelling shoot me," police added, "and disregarded the numerous police commands."

D.J. was then tasered and fell to the ground ... and moments later, cops took him into custody -- before they transported him to a local hospital for evaluation.

While there, police say he continued to make threats at the hospital ... saying he would kill "anyone who profited off of his brother Aaron." Dennis, cops said, "mentioned specifically ESPN, but not any people."

D.J. was ultimately released from the hospital and taken into the Bristol Police Department, where he was booked on charges of threatening and breach of peace. He was held on a $250,000 bond.

He's now due in court for a hearing on the matter next week.

The arrest marks the fourth time in the last few months that he's been in trouble with the law. As we reported, back in March, he was arrested after cops say he led officers on a wild car chase. Days later, he was arrested again for allegedly throwing a bag that contained a brick and a handwritten note at ESPN's campus. Earlier this month, he was arrested for missing a court date in that same case.

Colin Kaepernick Looks Solid In New Workout Video ... W/ CeeDee Lamb, Jaylen Waddle

Published

Colin Kaepernick hasn't played a down of football since 2017, but he's not showing any signs of rust ... 'cause the quarterback looked as good as ever in a recent workout with a bunch of NFL superstars.

The 35-year-old free agent just posted highlights from his training sesh at Nike headquarters ... and the guys in attendance made it look like the Pro Bowl.

While players like Jaylen Waddle, CeeDee Lamb, Najee Harris and Jaxon Smith-Njigba showed up, Kap was clearly the star of the show ... putting his arm on display as he hit his targets.

"Man, he looks great," Patriots receiver Kendrick Bourne said of the workout. "He looks good, the arm looks strong. He got a rocket of an arm ... he got another good six years left."

CeeDee also had high praise for the former 49er ... adding, "The arm's still intact, strong arm. Deep balls very nice. Man, he's still Kap now. Still got it to him."

Kap -- who famously kick-started the national anthem protests in 2016 -- has made it crystal clear he's not retired just yet ... but he could very well never see the playing field again, no matter how good he can throw.

Gisele Bündchen On Tom Dating Irina ... It's Helpful He's 'Moved On'

Published | Updated

Gisele Bundchen is brushing off the fact her ex-husband Tom Brady is now dating another supermodel, Irina Shayk ... and it sounds like Gisele expected it to happen eventually.

A source close to Gisele tells TMZ ... "Why wouldn't she be happy for Tom? She divorced him. It is helpful to her freedom that he moved on."

The source says Gisele and Irina are NOT friends, but they have known each other professionally for years and have always been cordial when they cross paths.

TMZ broke the story ... Tom and Irina spent the entire weekend together in Los Angeles and are now officially dating, after first meeting at a billionaire's wedding where several models were hitting on Tom.

Some of our other sources say Gisele is "not happy" about the Tom and Irina news ... but now, people close to GB are pushing back.

For her part, Gisele has been spending a lot of time with her jiu-jitsu instructor in the wake of her and Tom's divorce ... though people close to her have consistently said she's not dating Joaquim Valente.

So, Tom's the first to officially move on ... and Gisele is rolling with it.

We covered it all in the latest episode of The TMZ Podcast, available on all podcast platforms.

Cam Newton Get This Jerk Off Me!!! Taunts Heckler With Crude Gesture

JERK MOVE

Cam Newton rubbed out a heckler who was chirpin' at him recently ... taunting the guy with a crude gesture -- while bragging about the money in his bank account.

The scene appeared to take place at some sort of football camp ... when Newton had clearly had enough of a person who was taunting him from the sidelines.

Video from the event shows Cam walked over ... and immediately began jawing with the guy.

Cam was hit with the classic "how many rings you got?" diss ... to which he replied "none." When the agitator said "we got the same amount" ... Cam went off.

"But, we don't got the same bank account," he said ... before making an X-rated motion with his hand.

One of the people on the sideline chided the former NFL star for the gesture ... saying, "You're too famous to be acting like that."

Cam's response ... "No, no, don't play the victim now." The video then ended.

Of course, this ain't the first time Cam's gotten into it with some young spectators on a football field ... back in 2021, he and an H.S. player jawed back and forth about his free agency.

The footballer in that video eventually released an apology to Cam ... but, so far, nothing similar yet from the ex-Panthers QB's latest teaser.

Irina Shayk Dating Tom Brady ... Spend Night Together, He Caresses Her Face

Published | Updated
UPDATE

8:05 AM PT -- Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Tom Brady and Irina Shayk are indeed dating. We're told they met in May at the wedding of billionaire art heir Joe Nahmad and model Madison Headrick in Sardinia. Our sources say "A number of models were hitting on Tom, and Irina was one of them," although her rep denies it.

UPDATE

The sources say Gisele Bundchen is "not happy at all" about the news Tom is dating Irina. The news came out just a couple of days after Gisele's birthday.

UPDATE

We're told Tom and Irina spent the entire weekend together.

Tom Brady seems to have a new love in his life -- and it just so happens to be Bradley Cooper's ex ... Irina Shayk, who spent the night at the dude's house this weekend.

Paps caught TB12 and Irina apparently cozying up in L.A. over the course of 2 days -- which all started on Friday, when we're told he first picked her up at Hotel Bel-Air in the afternoon ... only to drive her over to his crib. Our sources tell us Tom and Irina walked into his pad -- all smiles-- and that she didn't leave his place until the following morning ... at about 9:30.

Tom dropped Irina off at the hotel, only to pick her back up later that same afternoon. It was here they were photographed and filmed having a sweet interaction in his car.

They were stopped at a light ... and, clear as day, Tom is seen stroking Irina's cheek -- very tenderly, we might add. She's leaned over in her seat with a huge smile ... and Tom is also flashing a big grin. They even seem to be laughing together.

After this brief moment of PDA ... we're told Tom and Irina went back to his pad yet again.

Funny enough ... rumors of these two possibly being involved have been swirling for about a month now. Reports said they were at the same wedding back in June, and that Irina was allegedly "throwing herself" at Tom all throughout the evening ... something her rep denied.

In fact, Irina's team came out swinging at the notion she was into him ... calling that report "totally malicious and fictional." Welp, it would appear there was some truth in it. Tom and Irina haven't said anything about this themselves yet -- but on its face, it looks like they're romantically involved ... if not fully dating. TB ain't stroking anyone else's face like that!

Of course, they're both single ... especially Tom, who recently divorced Gisele Bundchen. Irina and Brad have been done for a while -- and she's dated around since, as we've seen.

Tom is certainly the most eligible bachelor in Hollywood ... and has a lot more time on his hands post-football. Sure seems like he's making good use of it -- have fun you two!

Kim Zolciak, Kroy Biermann Hit Chili's As a Family ... Amid Renewed Drama

Published

Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann might be bickering again amid calling off their divorce -- but they're still breaking bread together, and doing it in public, no less.

TMZ has obtained photos of Kim, Kroy and their kids hitting a Chili's Sunday in Georgia, and they all sat in the same booth ... with eyewitnesses telling us mom and dad were right next to each other during their 45-minute meal.

While they might've been shoulder to shoulder, our sources tell us Kim and Kroy weren't interacting much. On its face though, it looks like they were playing nice as a family.

It's interesting they went to such a highly trafficked restaurant, especially amid some renewed bad blood we're hearing is brewing between them right now.

As we reported ... sources are telling us Kim and Kroy are fighting once more, this after some police body cam footage was released from earlier this year -- when they were still in the throes of their nasty divorce, which they've withdrawn from the courts.

Some harsh allegations were hurled on both sides during a police visit in May. Kroy claimed Kim had a gambling problem ... and Kim said Kroy might be suffering from a brain injury.

While they're not on great terms now (again) ... it seems Kim and Kroy can keep it together enough to still hit the town as a family unit, and put on a united front in front of other people.

Irina Shayk Rooted Against Tom Brady At SB LII ... 5 Years Before L.A. Fling

Published | Updated

Five years before Irina Shayk got cozy with Tom Brady in L.A. ... she was desperate to see him lose in one of the biggest games of his career -- cheering heavily for his Eagles opponents in Super Bowl LII.

The model showed up to the Feb. 4, 2018 Big Game at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minnesota with her then-boyfriend Bradley Cooper -- a die-hard Philadelphia sports fan -- wearing a white Birds cap.

She was spotted rubbin' elbows with fellow Eagles fans Miles Teller and Keleigh Sperry on the field in the leadup to the contest ... making it clear she was hoping Brady's Patriots would take the L.

Of course, Tom and his New England squad did just that ... falling to Nick Foles, 41-33.

It's unclear if Shayk ever crossed paths with Brady before or after the game ... but we know they eventually connected down the road -- 'cause the ex-quarterback took her to his home for a night this past weekend.

Shayk was seen appearing to stay the evening at Brady's place in L.A. on Friday ... before the two put on some big PDA inside of a car later Saturday.

No word yet on if they're officially an item or just having a fun fling ... but one thing we know -- as a retired man, there can't be too many hard feelings if the Philly fandom is still ingrained in Shayk.

Asante Samuel I've Got No Beef W/ Belichick, Sauce ... 'Y'all Stop It!!!'

Published | Updated

Despite being critical of both Bill Belichick and Sauce Gardner, Asante Samuel tells TMZ Sports he's got absolutely "no beef" with either guy ... explaining his comments were simply him just giving his opinions -- and nothing more.

"I'm a critic just like y'all," he said. "Y'all wake up, man. Y'all stop actin' like clowns."

Samuel took aim at Belichick's resume this week during an interview with ex-NFL player Bryant McFadden ... saying he didn't believe the Patriots head coach was the best ever.

Just a couple weeks prior, he took issue with Gardner's resume too ... writing on his Twitter page that he believed Seahawks star Tariq Woolen had a better year than the Jets corner -- while adding that he thought Sauce's status was being buoyed by the New York media.

Both hot takes were widely panned -- and most felt they were actually personal attacks on Belichick and Gardner.

But when we spoke with Samuel about it all on Thursday -- he said that couldn't be further from the case.

"Y'all stop it," the former New England Patriots cornerback said. "It's not a beef. If y'all want to cover it, y'all cover it. But it's not a beef."

He insisted giving his takes on the NFL is something he's done repeatedly over the years -- and it's never once been personal.

"I've been doin' this," he said. "I'm sick of it!"

In spite of the backlash, Samuel said he isn't going to back down from saying what his eyes see going forward ... telling us, "I'ma continue to talk."

Commanders Legend Brian Mitchell A Team Name Change? I'm Sure Fans Would Support It!!!

Published | Updated

If Magic Johnson does, indeed, change the Commanders moniker in Washington ... former star running back Brian Mitchell tells TMZ Sports he's sure fans would be in favor of it.

Magic -- who was part of a group that officially bought the D.C. franchise from Dan Snyder for $6.05 billion this week -- floated the idea of a name swap during an interview shortly after the deal went through.

"Everything is on the table," the NBA legend told TODAY's Craig Melvin.

When we spoke with Mitchell -- who played in Washington for 10 years -- about it all on Friday ... he made it clear he doesn't believe there would be many Washington fans who would be opposed.

"I think people had started to like the Washington Football Team [name]," the former All-Pro said. "Then you change it to a name that I don't think many, many people voted on or cared for. And, so, if it wanted to change, I don't think you'd have a lot of uproar with people."

Mitchell, though, did caution that it might be a lot for some fans to swallow. After all, it would be the fourth name the team's had since 2020.

Then again, Mitchell made it clear ... "you spend six billion, you get the right to name it whatever you want to name it!"

Potential team name change aside, Mitchell said he was fired up for Magic and the rest of the new owners to take control ... telling us he sees it all as "clean slate" for the Commanders to finally grow on.

Magic Johnson I'm Open To Changing Commanders Name ... After Buying Team

Published

Magic Johnson's officially the new owner of the Washington Commanders ... and one of his first orders of business might very well be to change the team's name.

The NBA legend -- who was part of a group led by Josh Harris that formally purchased D.C.'s NFL franchise for $6.05 billion this week -- left the door open for a moniker switch when he was asked about the possibility during a sit-down interview with TODAY's Craig Melvin this week.

"Everything is on the table, right?" Johnson said. "Especially after this year. We'll see where we are with the name."

Washington initially changed its longtime moniker back in 2020 ... after Native American groups and others found it offensive. They swapped to the "Washington Football Team" for two seasons ... before eventually landing on the Washington Commanders in 2022.

But, the new name hasn't been loved by many fans ... and the accompanying uniforms and logos haven't been all that inspiring for the fanbase either.

Johnson, though, made it clear he, Harris and the rest of the new owners have yet to make a decision either way.

"I can't say that right now," he said.

Regardless, Johnson told Melvin he's so stoked that the purchase was officially approved by the NFL this week ... saying, "It's the biggest thing I've ever done in my life. It's a lifelong dream."

Adam22 Antonio Brown's A 'Piece Of S***' You Disrespected My Wife!!!

Published | Updated

Adam22 says there's no way he's letting Antonio Brown anywhere near Lena The Plug ... telling TMZ Sports the ex-NFL superstar better have security if they ever cross paths -- 'cause he's "pulling up."

AB caused quite a stir when he publicly hit up the popular podcaster on Twitter earlier this week ... saying he wanted to be "next" after Adam's porn star wife filmed a sex scene with another man, XXX actor Jason Luv, for the first time in their seven-year relationship.

We caught up with Adam outside the "No Jumper" studio in L.A. on Thursday ... and he's pissed off over AB's antics -- calling it blatant disrespect.

"Let me explain something," Adam tells us. "My wife worked with a trained adult male porn star, and it's not like she's up for grabs for any horny dude in the industry whose career has fallen apart who wants to get some."

As it turns out, Adam claims AB's team reached out to his people in hopes of setting up an interview over the whole interaction ... and he was down to make some "good content" with the Super Bowl champ -- that is, until he asked for $5,000 to make it happen.

"I was like, it's not happening," Adam tells us. "He must be broke, or something. I looked him up on Google, it says he's worth like $20 million. But, I mean, he's out here scrounging up, trying to get $5,000 out of me to do the interview."

"I'm like, why am I gonna give you $5,000 for disrespecting my wife on Twitter, you piece of s***?"

While Adam makes it clear Lena's work doesn't open the door for other guys, he mentions a guy he would consider way before he ever grants AB his wish -- controversial personality Andrew Tate.

"To be totally fair, Andrew Tate might be at the level where we would consider it," Adam says. "Antonio Brown, to me, is basically a homeless person."

"The idea that I'm gonna let this piece of s*** f*** my wife, it's not happening. And, I'm not giving you $5,000 for an interview, either."

As for Lena's reaction, Adam says she laughed it off ... 'cause she had no idea who AB is.

Ex-NFL Star Aqib Talib Brother Pleads Guilty To Murder ... In Youth Football Shooting Case

Published | Updated

The brother of ex-NFL star Aqib Talib, Yaqub Talib, has pled guilty to murder ... stemming from his role in the shooting of a youth football coach last summer.

A rep for the Dallas County District Attorney's Office tells TMZ Sports ... Yaqub entered the plea this week -- agreeing to be sentenced to 37 years in prison.

Formal sentencing for the 40-year-old has been slated for August 7, the rep said.

Yaqub was initially accused of pulling out a firearm and shooting Michael Hickmon following an argument at an Aug. 13, 2022 youth football game involving a team that the Talib brothers were helping coach.

According to a lawsuit against the Talibs filed by Hickmon's family, the Talib brothers had gotten upset with Hickmon -- who was helping coach the opposing team -- over a call on the field ... and abruptly ended the game.

When Hickmon then went to retrieve the game ball -- he was allegedly "confronted" by Aqib, who, according to the lawsuit, threw a punch.

Hickmon's family said in their suit that after Hickmon "defensively backpedaled," Yaqub then pulled out a handgun and fired five shots -- striking Hickmon with several bullets. Hickmon later died at a local hospital.

The alleged altercation was captured on cell phone video by bystanders.

An attorney for Aqib said in a statement following the confrontation, "Aqib was present when this unfortunate incident occurred and is very distraught and devastated over this terrible loss of life. He would like to convey his condolences to the family of the victim and to everyone who witnessed this unfortunate tragedy."

The five-time Pro Bowler -- who starred for the Buccaneers, Broncos, Patriots and Rams in his career -- has not been charged criminally over his alleged role in the incident.

He's yet to publicly comment on his brother's plea.

Kevin Maxen Jaguars Strength Coach Comes Out As Gay

Published

Jacksonville Jaguars associate strength coach Kevin Maxen just came out as gay ... in what is believed to be a first for a male coach in major men's pro sports in the United States.

The Jags staffer made the announcement in an interview with Outsports on Thursday ... saying he's ready to live his truth without worrying about revealing his sexuality anymore.

"I want to be vocal in support of people living how they want to live, but I also want to just live and not feel fear about how people will react," Maxen -- a former strength coach with Baylor and Vanderbilt football -- said.

Maxen added he consulted NFL free agent Carl Nassib -- who came out 2021 -- for some advice about the process ... explaining he wanted to help build acceptance of LGBTQ+ members in sports.

The former college football linebacker also revealed he is happily in a relationship ... saying he has been seeing his partner, Nick, for more than two years.

"It wasn’t until recently -- and with the immense love and support of my family, my friends, colleagues and peers, and the courage and sacrifice from my partner -- that I realized I have the right and responsibility to love and be loved, and that maybe sharing this will hopefully give someone else the strength to accept their own life and take control of their own story."

As for how his team will react, Maxen believes it will not be an issue as long as he continues to do his job.

"I have a pretty good sense of humor," he told the outlet. "So a lot of the guys I can joke with and not take anything personally."
