'Survivor' Contestant Dan Spilo Booted After 'Off-Camera' Incident ... Weeks After Unwanted Touching Accusations

Published | Updated

For the first time in the history of 'Survivor' -- the long-running reality competition show -- a contestant's been kicked off for misconduct ... after already receiving a warning for his behavior.

Dan Spilo, a Hollywood producer and talent manager, was removed from the game with only days left for an undisclosed incident described as happening "off-camera."

At the end of Wednesday's episode -- after tribal council on 'Island of the Idols' -- host Jeff Probst came to the tribe's camp and informed everyone Dan was gone and wasn't coming back ... and wouldn't be serving on the jury.

As the show ended, a message read ... "Dan was removed from the game after a report of another incident, which happened off-camera and did not involve a player."

It's not too hard to read between the lines, though, because Spilo was involved in the most controversial episode of this season when he was accused by contestant Kellee Kim of inappropriate and unwanted touching.

Two other female contestants made similar claims, but later admitted they did it for gameplay and weren't actually offended by Dan.

However, he was seen touching Kellee on multiple occasions despite her apparent resistance, and was issued a warning by 'Survivor.' After Kim was voted out, Spilo apologized, saying ... "if anyone ever felt for a second uncomfortable about anything I’ve ever done, I’m horrified about that and I’m terribly sorry."

The final straw reportedly dropped after an immunity challenge, and involved someone on the crew as they were getting into a boat to leave. It's unclear exactly what happened during the incident, but it was enough to get him booted.

We reached out to Spilo ... a rep for him had no comment.

R. Kelly's Ex-Wife Gonna Sue Lifetime!!! Over Misleading 'Surviving Part 2' Promo

Published | Updated
UPDATE

12:56 PM PT -- Drea hopped on "TMZ Live" and it's pretty clear why she's livid with Lifetime. Drea says her main beef with Lifetime is the lack of support for the women after the documentary was released. She straight-up says she's gonna sue Lifetime for including her in the 'Surviving Part II' trailer when she vehemently said she would NOT take part in the doc.

R. Kelly's ex-wife is out to make it known she has nothing to do with the second installment of the 'Surviving' docuseries ... and has a list of reasons why she declined to participate.

Drea Kelly says the new official trailer for "Surviving R. Kelly Part II: The Reckoning" is misleading to audiences ... because it makes it looks like she was involved.

That's because the trailer shows a clip of Drea from the original 'Surviving' docuseries that aired in early 2019 -- in which she had a substantial role -- and she's not happy about it.

Drea says she's been adamant about refusing to be part of the follow-up, but despite her requests to not be linked to it ... Lifetime did it anyway.

She says she got a lot of negative backlash from the public after the series aired, but on top of that, she has many grievances with the network and production company. She says her requests to not contact her kids and family members about 'Part II' were ignored, and there has been a general lack of support, security and aftercare for survivors who participated.

Drea says she wants to reiterate -- "she has no involvement, did not approve any footage or stills of her likeness and is not actively promoting, nor consulting the follow-up series."

It's interesting because another notable person is featured in the new trailer -- Kelly accuser, Lisa Van Allen. However, she also told us herself she has nothing to do with 'Surviving Part II' because she's not pleased with how Lifetime has been handling the subject matter.

Big Bird Puppeteer Caroll Spinney Dead at 85 ... 'Sesame' Resident Since '69

Published | Updated

Caroll Spinney -- the guy who manned Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch on "Sesame Street" for nearly half a century -- has died.

Spinney passed away Sunday at his Connecticut home after living with Dystonia for a while, according to Sesame Workshop ... the nonprofit org behind the hit children's television show. Dystonia is a movement disorder in which a person's muscles contract uncontrollably.

Incredibly, the longtime puppeteer worked on the show for 49 years ... and retired from 'Sesame' just last year. He had been on the show since its early days in 1969. Besides being the man behind Big Bird, Spinney also handled and voiced Oscar the Grouch.

The legendary Jim Henson brought Spinney on-board, and by most accounts ... he struggled bringing Big Bird to life at first and having him resonate with the audience. Eventually, Spinney said he turned BB into a "big kid" character -- and the rest was history.

He starred in thousands of "Sesame Street" episodes -- more than any other cast member -- and it was certainly no walk in the park controlling the 8-foot bird costume. Spinney said he would have to hold the 5-pound head up with his right hand and work the mouth and eyebrows on that end ... while controlling both arms with just his own left one.

There was a fishing wire that connected both extremities inside the suit, and Spinney would operate both by using just his left side. Oscar, no doubt, was much easier to work.

He's survived by his wife, Debra, and his three children. Spinney was 85.

RIP

Ex-'Bachelor' Chris Soules Surfaces in H'wood 1st Time Since Fatal Crash

Published

Chris Soules seems ready to put his recent past behind him ... showing face in Hollywood for the first time since he was busted for fleeing the scene of a fatal crash.

The former 'Bachelor' was out Friday night at KIIS FM's iHeartRadio Jingle Ball in L.A., where he certainly didn't shy away from the cameras ... posing for pics as he went in with a full smile on his face. It's his first major public appearance in Tinsel Town since 2017.

While it might've looked like a comeback attempt, Chris told ET he wasn't attempting to return to the spotlight ... and that he was just tagging along with other 'Bachelor' pals.

You'll recall ... Chris was arrested in April 2017 after cops said he'd rammed his pickup truck into a John Deere tractor and sent the driver flying into a ditch. The man ultimately died.

Chris stuck around on the scene until EMTs showed, but bounced before the police could arrive. They caught up to him later at his house and made the arrest. Just earlier this year, Chris finally accepted a plea deal from prosecutors that kept him out of jail.

He was handed down a 2-year suspended sentence after pleading guilty to leaving the scene of an accident resulting in serious injury ... an aggravated misdemeanor.

Younger audiences will recognize Ron as Rachel's often-disappointed dad on "Friends."

He's survived by his wife, actress Jessica Walter, whom he married in 1983.

Rehab ain't cheap ... so Santa Sitch is paying it forward.

Tiffany Haddish I'm 40 and Jewish ... Time for a 'Black Mitzvah'!!!

Published

Tiffany Haddish is celebrating 3 things at once, and they all center around her Jewish heritage ... something she's leaning into as she hits the big 4-0.

The comedian and actress turned 40 on Tuesday and decided to ring it in by throwing a 'Black Mitzvah.' What the hell is that? Well, it's not only the title of her new Netflix stand-up special -- which dropped Tuesday -- but it also looks like a kick-ass freakin' party.

Tiff's bday bash/bat mitzvah went down at the SLS Hotel in Bev Hills, where friends like Jimmy Kimmel, Kevin Nealon and Sinbad -- to name just a few -- helped her celebrate.

If you hadn't heard, Tiffany learned she was part Jewish a bit late in life -- age 27, apparently -- with her father revealing he was an Eritrean Jew. That spurred her to learn more about the culture, and now she's dedicated her comedy special to it.

She's also been studying Hebrew, so she seems to be taking it seriously. Funny enough, Tiff used to work at bar and bat mitzvahs -- she says she was an "energy producer" at events. You can see that's a perfect gig for her.

Now, she's finally come of age ... complete with the "Hora" and "Hava Nagila." 28 years delayed, but better late than never. Mazel, Tiff!!!

'PLL' Star Ashley Benson Greets Super Fans with a SuperCall ... Makes These Kids' Day

Published

Ashley Benson brought holiday cheer early this year for a group of people who need it the most -- calling sick kids across the country ... and then popping into a hospital for some one-on-one time as well.

The "Pretty Little Liars" star recently partnered up with this new app called SuperCall, which gives people the opportunity to talk to their favorite celeb via FaceTime. On Thursday and Friday, Ash and SuperCall decided to ring up 50 hospitalized children with varying illnesses.

The result, as you can see, was nothing short of a tug of war at the heartstrings.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Ashley spoke to each kid via SuperCall for 90 seconds, and it sounds like the topic of the day was Thanksgiving and favorite holiday meals. AB's is mashed potatoes, classic. On top of the call, Ashley and SuperCall also sent these young folks brand new iPhones.

As part of the initiative -- which was aimed at raising money that was donated to charity -- Ashley went ahead and visited the Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn and talked to a bunch of the patients, including some of the kids selected. Of course, everyone got a pic too.

While there, it looks like Ashley took time to check in on the neonatal intensive care unit ... where premature babies are cared for. She's been open about the fact she herself was born prematurely, so clearly that hits home for her.

Good deeds, good causes ... good stuff all around.

Caitlyn Jenner Khloe's Not Really Talking to Me ... Hasn't for At Least 5 Yrs!!!

Published | Updated

Caitlyn Jenner says there absolutely is a rift between Khloe Kardashian and her -- and she claims it's been that way ever since going public about her transition.

Caitlyn revealed the beef on the Australian reality show, "I'm a Celebrity...Get Me out of Here!" She contrasted her son Brandon's reaction -- one of pride -- to her transition ... with Khloe's.

As Caitlyn put it, "Khloe for some reason was pissed off about something through this whole process." She added she and Khloe "really haven't talked" in 5 or 6 years. Caitlyn publicly came out in June 2015. It's unclear exactly when she told family members.

As TMZ first reported, Khloe was not at Caitlyn's 70th birthday celebration last month. At the time, Kardashian sources said there was no beef, and Khloe only missed the dinner party because she was shooting a commercial that day. The rest of her daughters -- Kim, Kourtney, Kendall and Kylie -- were all there.

Further, we were told Khloe had personally called Caitlyn to say she wouldn't be at the bday bash -- but she sent a huge bouquet of pink and white roses.

Caitlyn posed with flowers and posted it with the caption, "So blessed to have so much love in my life from family and friends."

That peachy keen sentiment is gone now ... at least from Caitlyn's side. On the show, she also said, "We were really close. I raised her since she was five years old. I really don't know what her issues are."

Gabrielle Union 'AGT' Firing Jay Leno Joke Was NOT Racist ... Says Alonzo Bodden as Ellen Pompeo Backs Gabrielle

Published | Updated

Gabrielle Union's claims of a toxic workplace at 'AGT' has Ellen Pompeo sounding off in support of Gabby -- but now someone's also defending Jay Leno, saying his Korean joke wasn't racist at all.

You'll recall, Gabrielle reportedly feels she was canned because she complained to producers and NBC about racially insensitive situations on the 'AGT' set -- among them a joke Leno made, while guest judging, about Koreans eating dogs.

We got comedian Alonzo Bodden -- himself a "Last Comic Standing" champ -- at the Laugh Factory and he stood up for Jay, explaining why he feels it was NOT a racist joke. In a nutshell, he says there's a big difference between playing off a "common stereotype" and attacking a specific person over race.

The Leno joke was edited out and never made air, but Alonzo still laughed off any thoughts of a 'Cancel Leno' movement. He also added Leno was the least of Gabrielle's issues on the show.

She reportedly also had issues with producers' "excessive notes" about her physical appearance, wardrobe and hair -- and Pompeo weighed in Thursday, calling Gabby courageous for taking a stand.

The "Grey's Anatomy" star also called out NBC for not changing "practices or culture" after Matt Lauer's sexual misconduct scandal.

Pompeo called for all women -- especially "white girls" -- to stand up for Gabrielle, and even Ariana Grande's now speaking up, too.

Millie Bobby Brown It's Elementary Now ... Making Millions as Sherlock's Sis!!!

Published | Updated

Millie Bobby Brown's bank account is about to get even bigger ... because the 15-year-old actress is raking in more than $6 MILLION for her next big-screen role.

If ya didn't hear, Millie landed the titular role of Enola Holmes in the upcoming movie franchise about Sherlock Holmes' much younger sister -- who becomes a private detective herself.

According to her minor's contract -- obtained by TMZ -- the teenager gets $6.1 mil to star in the film but could fetch up to an $800k bonus if it performs well at the box office.

Oh, she also gets a producer credit, which comes with an additional base pay of $500k -- and her contract allows for her to travel via private jet. A-list move for MBB!!!

It gets better too ... if there's a sequel, Millie will bank another $7.5 million, at the very minimum. Now that's how you take a ten and turn it up to Eleven.

As we've reported ... huge salaries are becoming par for the course for the "Stranger Things" kids, but Brown's taking a huge step ahead of the rest with this fat payday.

"Enola Holmes" is set to release some time in 2020, and will costar Henry Cavill as Sherlock and Helena Bonham Carter as Mrs. Holmes.

Joe Giudice Check Out My Modest Italian Digs ... Not In Jersey Anymore

Published | Updated

Joe Giudice went from mansion living in a ritzy area of New Jersey to a holding cell and now ... to a cool little apartment in his homeland of Italy. He ain't complaining though.

The former 'RHONJ' star recently gave a tour of his modest digs in Salerno, Italy, where he's currently living as he tries to get back to the States amid his deportation case. It's a cozy 1-bedroom, but Joe was happy to take fans through every nook and cranny of the place.

He's got a bedroom, a kitchen with a tiny table, a living room with a couch and TV, a washer (but no dryer), and a toilet with no seat and a bidet nearby. Welcome to Italian living!!!

That's not to say that Joe's griping about his living situation -- if anything, he says it's much better than where he was being detained by ICE ... so he'll take it for now. And besides, Joe lives right next to a gorgeous mountain range. Not too shabby all things considered.

It is interesting though, considering what he was used to about four or five years ago ... when he was living with Teresa and the kids in an upscale mansion in Montville, NJ.

The house above is actually one of the Giudices' only properties they kept when they were in the middle of legal trouble a few years back. It initially went up for sale, but Teresa got to hold onto it in the end. Other properties of theirs were either sold or demolished.

Hey, an abode's an abode at the end of the day ... humble as it may be.

Hilary Duff So, On The 'Lizzie' Reboot WHERE'S MIRANDA?!?

Published | Updated

Hilary Duff seems to have a few tricks up her sleeve about her new "Lizzie McGuire" reboot on Disney+ -- and by that, we mean Miranda MIGHT be coming back. Maybe ...

Of course, we could be totally wrong -- 'cause the answer really isn't all that clear based on what HD told us Saturday in L.A. That said, you better believe we asked -- in our own roundabout way -- about Lalaine Vergara-Paras possibly being brought back.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

ICYMI ... Disney+ announced it's doing a 'Lizzie' reboot as part of its upcoming content, and just last week ... Adam Lamberg -- who played Gordo -- was confirmed to be onboard.

The only remaining question -- as far as die-hard fans are concerned -- is whether Lalaine would be reprising her role as Miranda Sanchez. After all, the 3 of them were an inseparable trio during the original series' 2-season run. So, you'd think it's a no-brainer, right?!?

Check out the clip ... Hilary doesn't let anything slip about any future characters making a comeback. But, based on her tone here, something tells us there certainly may be.

Considering Miranda's character was mysteriously written out of the movie in 2003 -- Lalaine supposedly went on to pursue a music career in real life at the time -- we're pretty certain viewers would like nothing more than to see her back together with her old TV gang.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

It looks like the feeling might be mutual on Lalaine's part as well -- she recently posted a throwback photo of her, Hilary and Adam together on set. So, she's definitely got 'Lizzie' on the brain.

So, on behalf of all those who love "Lizzie McGuire," STOP PLAYING AND BRING BACK MIRANDA!!! Please and thanks. 😁

'Game of Thrones' Star Tommen Says Release the Tape!!! ... Of Alternate Ending

Published

Tommen Baratheon is backing up what Tormund Giantsbane has said about an alternate ending to their hit show, "Game of Thrones" ... and goes further by demanding its release.

We got Dean-Charles Chapman Saturday in NYC and asked him about what costar Kristofer Hivju recently said to a British outlet about a different version of events for the 'GoT' finale -- which he said was mostly for fun, and something he probably couldn't talk about.

Dean plays it close to the vest here, not revealing the content of any such ending. But, he certainly seems to be confirming there was actually a second ending that was shot.

Granted, Dean's character -- who was prematurely crowned King of Westeros -- was killed off in season 6. Still though, he appears to know about the secret ending -- and is down to see it out there. Check it out ... he says the fans deserve at least that after being let down.

Of course, tons of people were pissed over the actual ending to the series -- including AOC and Senator Elizabeth Warren -- because they felt it was rushed and poorly written.

In honor of all the PO'd 'GoT' viewers, we'll echo what James Comey once said ... Lordy, we hope there are tapes.
