Cassie Randolph's war with Colton Underwood is now in the hands of law enforcement ... TMZ's learned she filed a report claiming he put a tracking device on her car.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Cassie went to the L.A. County Sheriff's Department Wednesday night to file a complaint about the allegation she first made against the 'Bachelor' star in her request for a restraining order against him.

Cassie's lawyer, Bryan Freedman, tells TMZ ... "It was her intention to first, try and work through this process privately in a manner that gives both her and Colton safety, security and respect. We are confident this is possible."

TMZ broke the story ... Cassie alleged Colton planted a tracking device, and that her brother found it taped to the bottom of her car's back bumper. She claimed he was trying to track her whereabouts long after they had broken up.

She made other claims about him showing up uninvited to her L.A. apartment and her parents' house in Huntington Beach. The judge signed off on Cassie's restraining order, and Colton's been ordered to stay away.

Connor McDavid -- arguably the best player in the NHL -- has tested positive for COVID-19, his team announced.

The Edmonton Oilers issued a statement Thursday evening confirming the 23-year-old tested positive on Monday.

"Since that time, he has been in voluntary self-quarantine at his home," the Oilers said. McDavid is quarantining in the Toronto area, where he lives in the offseason.

"He will continue to be monitored and will follow all associated health protocols."

The good news ... McDavid is currently "feeling well" -- though he is experiencing mild symptoms.

The NHL season just wrapped up last week -- with the Tampa Bay Lightning winning the Stanley Cup after the league played the remainder of the season in "hub cities" to reduce COVID exposure.

The league had zero positive COVID tests while doing the “hub city” thing. Though McDavid wasn’t in the NHL bubble very long since Edmonton lost in the qualifying round of the playoffs.

McDavid -- the #1 overall pick in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft -- has led the league in scoring twice and was named the league's most outstanding player in 2017.

Delonte West is on the road to sobriety ... but it ain't easy.

Sources tell TMZ Sports the former NBA player is currently in the detox phase of his treatment -- which is known to be extremely difficult for people trying to clean themselves up.

As we previously reported, West entered a treatment facility last week with some help from his mother and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban.

We're told detox is Phase 1 -- the process of removing all traces of drugs and alcohol from Delonte's system.

Detox ain't exactly a walk in the park -- in fact, it's a pretty taxing process both physically and mentally.

West is undergoing the process under the supervision of professionals -- but it's still extremely tough.

One person close with West told us Delonte is "doing fine" while "roughing it out" in order to move on to the phase of his treatment.

After detox is complete, we're told West will move to a new location where his treatment will focus on mental health and long term sobriety programs.

Bottom line ... it's not an easy process. It's not quick either. But, the people we're talking with tell us they're happy with Delonte's progress so far and they're optimistic he can overcome his challenges.

As we previously reported, ex-MLB superstar Daryl Strawberry -- who battled his own substance abuse issues -- has offered to work with West to stay clean when he finishes his treatment.

California-born athlete Randy Johnson (also known as "The Big Unit") was a household name in the '90s as the lanky lefty pitcher with one heck of a fastball and an equally epic mustache and mullet combination.

Randy has beamed balls across the plate for a bunch of great baseball organizations including the Montreal Expos, Houston Astros and New York Yankees ... but he was best known for his contributions to the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Seattle Mariners.

Johnson was photographed on the mound for over two decades ... but has now taken on a career on the other side of the lens as a photographer.

Bill O'Brien's time with the Houston Texans is officially OVER -- the head coach and GM has been fired after starting 0-4 this season.

The news broke Monday afternoon ... one day after the Texans lost to the 0-3 Vikings.

50-year-old BOB took over the reigns as head coach in H-Town in 2014 ... and also took over the general manager position earlier in 2020.

O'Brien was 52-48 during his 7 years with the team ... making the playoffs 4 times, but failing to make it past the divisional round.

O'Brien also made the trade to send away superstar receiver DeAndre Hopkins to Arizona in exchange for David Johnson, who has less than 200 rushing yards on the season.

BOB spoke about his job security earlier Monday ... saying he was not concerned about being on the hot seat.

"All I can control is what I can control, and I've got to do a better job with the team," O'Brien told reporters. "That's obvious. And we're going to work hard to do that."

For the second time in a month, Novak Djokovic hit a tennis ball right into a line judge!!!

This time, it was a true accident -- Novak was trying to return a serve when he lunged at the ball ... and re-directed it right at a judge's face!!!

It all went down Monday at the French Open -- Novak was battling Russian tennis player Karen Khachanov.

The good news ... unlike the incident at the U.S. Open, the line judge was uninjured this time!

Also, unlike the U.S. Open ... French Open officials determined this was just a true accident and Novak was allowed to continue with the match.

The big difference from the U.S. Open incident ... Novak smacked a ball out of the court out of pure frustration -- it was NOT in the capacity of trying to play a live ball.

The line judge at the U.S. Open was hit in the neck and fell to her knees -- though, ultimately (thankfully) she was okay.

This time, Novak -- the #1 player in the world -- went on to defeat Khachanov and advanced to the next round of the tournament.

"The kid’s a clown!"

CC Sabathia lost his mind on Carlos Correa in an epic rant this month ... telling the Houston Astros star to straight-up "shut the f*ck up!"

If you missed it, after Correa and the 'Stros beat the Minnesota Twins to move on into the 2nd-round of the MLB playoffs last week ... Carlos rubbed some salt in Houston haters' wounds.

"I know a lot of people are mad," Correa said after the series W. "I know a lot of people don’t want to see us here, but what are they going to say now?"

Sabathia was asked about those comments on the 'R2C2 podcast' ... and the former New York Yankees ace didn't hold back.

"They cheated and then they’re mad at us!" Sabathia said. "Like get the f*ck out of here!”

"It’s a f*cking joke," CC added. "And, then you finish under .500 this year. Like, shut the f*ck up!"

Of course, CC's had BIG BEEF with Correa and the Astros over their cheating scandal for a long time now ... he's clearly felt burned given his Yankees teams lost to the Astros in both the 2017 and 2019 playoffs.

In fact, despite being buds with Astros manager Dusty Baker ... CC made it crystal clear he's hoping the A's whoop Houston in their upcoming ALDS series.

Demarcus Lawrence went OFF on fans who criticized him after the Dallas Cowboys took another L on Sunday ... telling his haters straight up, "F**k all ya'll."

The star pass rusher -- who was limited to no sacks yet again in Big D's embarrassing 49-38 loss to the Cleveland Browns -- took a TON of heat on his social media page after the defeat.

But, instead of brushing it off ... the 28-year-old went into attack mode -- and ripped every single critic in a scathing comment.

"I play my heart for the Cowboys and my brothers," Lawrence said. "With playing through injuries since day 1. I will never stop. If you don’t see me enough stop watching stats n watch the game."

"F**k off my page with that b*tch sh*t. I handle my own."

Cowboys fans have been VERY vocal about their displeasure with the team this season ... given it had Super Bowl expectations but has gotten off to just a 1-3 start.

And, as one of the team's highest-paid players and biggest underachievers (at least in the box scores) ... Lawrence has heard it from fans daily.

By crushing a MASSIVE, 12-pound walking taco in 38 minutes!!!

(IMPORTANT STORY NOTE --  a "walking taco" is essentially a bunch of taco ingredients stuffed inside of a chip bag. Good stuff)

The food G.O.A.T. would have been competing in the annual Pacific Park World Taco Eating Championship on Sunday if it weren't for COVID-19 ... but NOTHING can stop this dude from eating insane amounts of tacos on the food holiday.

So, Jaws took matters into his own hands and made a humongous walking taco in the comfort of his own kitchen ... and the list of ingredients is wild.

-- 2 pounds of chips
-- 3 pounds of ground beef
-- 2+ pounds of cheese
-- 1+ pound of salsa
-- 6+ avocados
-- onions and sour cream
-- Joey's signature green hatch and jalapeno sauce

Now, no meal is too big for Chestnut ... and the guy was even ENJOYING eating the giant concoction while only needing 38 minutes and some change to finish it.

FYI -- Joey guzzled 82 street-style carnitas tacos in 8 minutes to win last year's eating competition in Santa Monica ... but at least he was able to take his time this year.

As for how the dude celebrated the feat??

Scary news ... 90-year-old college football coaching legend Bobby Bowden has tested positive for COVID-19.

Fortunately, the former Florida State head man -- who coached the Seminoles for 34 years and won two national championships -- told the Tallahassee Democrat on Monday he's experiencing no symptoms as of now.

Bowden said he had been in the hospital recently because of a skin infection ... and took a coronavirus test while he was there. The results came back positive Saturday.

Bowden, though, says there's no fever, cough or illness yet ... adding, "I don’t feel bad, yet."

In fact, Bobby was in such good spirits after the diagnosis ... he joked, "I guess I can loaf around the rest of the week."

Bowden says his plan to handle the virus is to quarantine at his home and keep a close eye on any potential symptoms.

In the meantime, Bowden says family members that had been staying with him hadn't tested positive for the virus yet ... but will get further testing done Monday.

UFC star Colby Covington says he's COVID-Free -- despite being in the room last week for the Donald Trump vs. Joe Biden debate.

Covington -- who's become close with Trump over the past few years -- was invited to the debate in Cleveland on Sept. 29 as a special guest of POTUS.

Now, after Trump and several people close to him have tested positive for coronavirus ... many people were wondering about Colby's health.

Covington responded over the weekend saying he's healthy -- and used the announcement to take a few shots at Trump's critics.

"For the people who constantly slander my name, but are all of a sudden concerned with my health and well being: I’m COVID free," Covington said.

"I’ve been tested 7 times in the past 3 weeks, including prior to and after meeting with the POTUS. I was also tested during fight week, as well as before and after the debate. ALL NEGATIVE."

"Speaking of ALL NEGATIVE," Colby said, "How about all the slime in Hollywood and woke sports wishing harm on a 74 year old grandfather!?! How tolerant! Unfortunately for them and fortunately for America, @realdonaldtrump is a fighter!!! "

WWE legend Joseph Laurinaitis -- AKA Road Warrior Animal -- died during a romantic getaway with his wife to celebrate their wedding anniversary, this according to police documents.

Laurinaitis -- one half of the famous Legion of Doom tag team -- was with his wife, Kimberly, at the Margaritaville Lake Resorts in Osage Beach, Missouri on Sept. 22 for a quick getaway.

According to the police report, obtained by TMZ Sports, Laurinaitis had set up a whole romantic evening for Kim -- starting with a fancy dinner and returning to their room, which was covered in rose petals and a gift basket.

But, after they arrived back to the room, Laurinaitis suffered a medical emergency -- and collapsed on the bed.

Kim tried to perform CPR, but unfortunately, Joseph could not be saved, according to officials.

The medical examiner launched an investigation into his death -- and notes medication for Laurinaitis was collected at the scene.

Laurinaitis is considered one of the best in-ring performers of all time -- he wrestled for most of his WWE career with Road Warrior Hawk and won multiple tag team championships as The Road Warriors/Legion of Doom.

He was only 60 years old.

Jared Goff's smokin' hot model GF, Christen Harper, had the perfect setup to watch the L.A. Rams on Sunday ... supporting her man in a bikini at home!!

The 25-year-old NFL QB and 26-year-old SI Swim model have been dating for more than a year ... but fans aren't allowed at SoFi Stadium until further notice due to the COVID pandemic.

So, Harper had to improvise for L.A.'s home matchup against the Giants ... and her viewing party looks a lot more appealing than sitting around a bunch of drunk fans in a crowded stadium for several hours (no offense, SoFi. You're beautiful too).

"I guess watching football from home isn’t thaaaat bad 🏈," Harper said on IG ... with the Rams game visibly on display on the big screen TV behind her.

Goff and Harper sparked dating rumors as early as January '19 ... and went Best Buy official when TMZ Sports caught up with them at the electronics store a few months later.

As for Harper's gameday attire, maybe it's good luck -- L.A. won, 17-9, and Goff went 25-32 with 200 yards and a TD.

Either that or the Giants just suck that bad.

Davante Adams clearly ain't happy over being ruled out for the Packers' "Monday Night Football" game ... saying, "I guess I don’t know my body as well as others."

The Green Bay superstar has been battling a hamstring injury since Week 2 ... and it was so bad, it forced him to miss his team's win over the Saints last weekend.

But, Adams had planned on returning for the Packers' game against the Falcons on Monday ... though it now seems team docs have other ideas.

Adams tweeted (and later deleted) early Monday morning that he's been ruled OUT for the matchup -- despite clearly believing he's ready to go.

"Sorry fans and friends I wont be on the field tonight," Adams said. "I’ve done everything I need to do and proved Im ready but I guess I don’t know my body as well as others."

"Good luck out there my boys."

It's obviously a big blow for Green Bay ... Dude is a 3-time Pro Bowler who's racked up for more than 5,000 receiving yards in 88 career games.

As for fantasy football purposes ... it's a REALLY tough blow if ya had gambled on the wideout playing.
