The criminal investigation into Cristiano Ronaldo's rape allegation is still active, the Las Vegas Metro Police Dept. says.

Kathryn Mayorga, the woman behind the allegations, had dropped her civil case filed in state court in Nevada earlier this month -- making some people wonder if the two sides had reached a settlement.

But, Mayorga's attorney, Larissa Drohobyczer, says Kathryn is NOT backing down -- they're simply moving the lawsuit from state court to federal court, where it's easier to sue someone who lives abroad.

"We basically just switched venues but the claims and lawsuit still remains," Drohobyczer tells TMZ Sports.

In other words, Mayorga's team was having trouble serving Ronaldo with the court papers -- but the laws in federal court are more favorable for a person suing someone who lives out of the country.

Per Drohobyczer, they are still waiting for confirmation from the Italian government that Ronaldo has been served with the lawsuit.

As we previously reported, Mayorga claims Ronaldo raped her in a Las Vegas hotel room back in 2009.

She had initially filed a police report describing the alleged crime -- but didn't identify Ronaldo by name.

In her original lawsuit, Mayorga says she later accepted a $375,000 payment in exchange for her silence -- but now, she wants that agreement voided.

WWE superstar Kofi Kingston is back from Ghana ... and he LOVED IT!!!!!

You gotta watch this clip ... Kofi says returning to his home country after winning the WWE championship was one of the greatest experiences of his life -- and you can feel his energy through the clip.

Remember, Kingston hadn't been back to Ghana since 1994 (when he moved to the U.S.) -- but he was greeted like a ROCK STAR when he touched down last week at Kotoka International Airport.

Kingston says he met with the President, got to talk with kids, help out women in need and visit his Ghanaian fans -- and it was more incredible than he ever could have imagined.

After the trip, Kofi says he's more motivated than ever to use his celebrity platform to help people and spread good will all over the world.

And, get this ... Kofi says he was blown away by the popularity of WWE in Ghana -- and says he didn't fully understand the global reach of pro wrestling until he landed in Africa.

Pretty great stuff!

President Trump's camp wants him to know how much he's loved on his most special day of the year ... so they're asking MAGA country to type in their names ASAP.

An email got sent Wednesday to subscribers of the Trump-Pence campaign, and it's begging for folks to be one of the first to sign a "HUGE" birthday card that his team will bestow on him come June 14 ... the Prez's 73rd birthday. They're looking for 2 million signatures.

The email reads, "Our goal is to get 2 MILLION signatures to let President Trump know how thankful we are for his incredible leadership in our shared mission to Make America Great Again." It goes on, "We sent President Trump a card last year, and he loved reading all of the encouraging messages from Patriotic Americans across the country."

The campaign doesn't specify if they're planning on printing a jumbo-sized birthday card with a scroll of autographs attached -- it'd have to be pretty damn big if that was the case -- or if they're just gonna DM him the collective well-wishes next Friday.

Something tells us this is just a digital thing though, and people's "signatures" probably amount to nothing more than spelling out your name on a keyboard and hitting send.

Logan Paul's asking nicely -- please don't show up to his house unannounced ... UNLESS you're there to get the hell beat out of you, because that's great for YouTube views.

We got LP outside Beauty & Essex restaurant in Hollywood Tuesday night, shortly after we broke the story ... a man showed up at his Encino home uninvited 2 days in a row, forcing Logan to call the cops and file a trespassing report.

Logan tells us it's not an unusual occurrence, but he'd like it to stop ... because, believe it or not, he actually values his privacy.

HOWEVER, Logan concedes that sometimes dudes showing up at his pad is totally cool ... if they have a gimmick and are down to get in the ring with him and get knocked out.

Case in point -- last week when fellow YouTuber ViktorCrazy camped out outside his gate dressed as Ivan Drago and demanded a boxing bout ... he got promptly whooped. Logan says that video was the best vlog he's had in a while.

So, there ya go clout chasers ... if you really want to walk the line of trespassing to take a chance at meeting Logan at his home, just have a game plan and be ready to get your ass kicked.

10:05 AM PT -- We've now obtained video of the incident in which it's clear to see David is the one jawing at Nathan before he drives off ... you can also see him "flip the bird" during his exit.

Jenelle Evans' husband, David Eason, rolled up on her ex, Nathan Griffith, to talk some smack after the latest custody hearing -- a move that could trigger a restraining order ... against David.

Jenelle's baby daddies came face-to-face Tuesday in the Columbus County Courthouse parking lot in North Carolina ... right after the troubled couple wrapped up the hearing. Nathan was chatting with our guy when Jenelle and David drove by.

Check out the audio ... you hear our photog notice people in the vehicle recording video, and then realizes it's David and Jenelle. You hear David ask Nathan, "You hanging out with the paparazzi?"

A short exchange ensued before the couple drove off ... but not before David flipped the bird. Nathan said the encounter would prompt him to file a restraining order -- though nothing's been filed yet.

It was just the latest confrontation outside the courthouse after a long day in court. As we first reported ... Jenelle and her mom, Barbara, also had a testy exchange.

Barbara insinuated the only reason Jenelle's being so motherly with her 2-year-old daughter, Ensley, is because cameras were rolling. Jenelle shot back saying Barbara blocked her number.

As we reported ... Nathan showed up with his and Jenelle's 4-year-old son, Kaiser. It's unclear if 9-year-old Jace made it to court. Jenelle and David enrolled in couples therapy in an attempt to get their kids back. David will also undergo a psych evaluation to determine what is at the core of his anger issues.

As you know ... all of Jenelle's kids were removed after a judge decided there were serious issues with the couple that put the kids at risk. Jenelle, however, has remained by David's side.

Only 2 things can make Tracy Morgan feel better about wrecking his $2 million Bugatti ... insurance and this -- the accident wasn't his fault ... TMZ has learned.

Just Tracy's luck ... an NYPD traffic agent happened to be on the corner of 42nd Street and 10th Avenue Tuesday afternoon when the costly fender bender went down. Law enforcement sources tell us the traffic agent witnessed Tracy cruising westbound on 42nd Street and preparing to make a legal turn onto 10th Ave. when the Honda collided with him.

We're told, to the traffic agent's eyes ... the Honda did NOT have the right of way. The driver of that vehicle is a woman named Joycelyn Madulid. She told the NY Post she had no clue she'd hit a celebrity -- "The people were taking pictures of him and the car. I asked the traffic officer, why people taking pictures and he said, 'You don't watch TV? That's a famous guy.'"

As we first reported, Tracy had juuuust purchased the Bugatti Veyron ... like, literally drove it off the lot. That might explain why you can see him banging on the woman's window immediately after the wreck -- sounds like he yelled, "Get the f**k out the car!!" Joycelyn said she was terrified.

Offset is gonna lose some cash because he apparently lost track of one lingering legal issue -- the beatdown his security put on an autograph seeker after last year's Met Gala.

TMZ got the wild video of the May 2018 incident ... the 'grapher was trying to get Cardi B's John Hancock after the gala ... only to get his ass kicked by a bunch of guys he believed to be Cardi and Offset's hired muscle.

The overzealous fan, Giovanni Arnold, filed a lawsuit and had asked a judge to grant him a default judgment back in April of this year. He said Offset hadn't said a peep in response to the lawsuit ... and the judge granted his wish this week.

It's unclear how much Offset is on the hook for now, or if he plans to challenge the default judgment in court. Considering Cardi's been taking care of business on her end -- she was sued for this as well, and has been responding -- we imagine Offset will fight it.

When the ass whooping went down last year ... Cardi's camp said the guy was being super aggressive in trying to obtain the autograph. In one video clip ... you can hear Giovanni egg on CB and Offset's entourage.

President Trump wants to make it perfectly clear -- he didn't say Meghan Markle IS nasty ... he said she WAS nasty when she spoke negatively about him.

The Prez was interviewed by Piers Morgan on "Good Morning Britain" Wednesday during his 3-day trip to the UK, and Piers pressed him on his thoughts about the Duchess of Sussex and asked whether he thinks she is, in fact, "nasty."

Trump says no, and explains he didn't know Markle had spoken badly about him in the past ... but he's not surprised. He says when he found out he responded, "Wow, I didn't know she was nasty" ... but meant to essentially say, "I didn't know she was nasty about me."

Regardless, the Prez says he hopes Meghan enjoys her life and called her "very nice" before pointing out he doesn't actually know her ... and slamming the media for embellishing the "nasty" controversy.

Then, Piers asked the big question -- was it awkward meeting Prince Harry in the midst of the hullabaloo? Not at all, according to Trump ... but he admits he never addressed the topic with Meghan's royal hubby. He says Harry couldn't have been nicer, though ... and he thinks he's great.

Meanwhile, Trump used his time over the pond to insult Hollywood royalty on Twitter -- Bette Midler. Wonder how it would go if Donald ran into her husband?

Swae Lee's showering Jay-Z with some big pimpin' props for becoming hip-hop's first billionaire, and it's also giving him all the feels ... cause the 23-year-old wants to be next.

We got one half of the hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd out Tuesday night in NYC and asked him about Forbes newly minting Hova as the first rapper billionaire. The mag totaled up all of Jay's income from multiple business ventures and officially inducted him into the 3-comma club.

Check out the vid ... Swae says Jay's new money status has inspired him, and he thanks the OG Roc-a-Fella for paving the way.

Worth nothing, for Swae and other young'uns, if they're following the blueprint ... Jay-Z's music catalog is pretty low on his list of assets.

Andy Ruiz says he's ready to do something Anthony Joshua wouldn't do -- actually make a fight with Deontay Wilder ... telling TMZ Sports, "That's what we're aiming for!"

Oh, and Ruiz also says THE DRAKE CURSE IS REAL!!!!

The heavyweight boxing champ was leaving "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Tuesday when we asked about a potential fight with The Bronze Bomber ... and Ruiz told us he's all the way down!!

"But, first things first," Ruiz said ... "I gotta get Joshua."

Ruiz is referring to the rematch clause which was included in his original fight contract with Anthony Joshua. AJ has already triggered the clause and the rematch is expected to go down later this year.

But, after that, Ruiz says he's all about Deontay -- the reigning WBC heavyweight champ.

FYI, Wilder praised Ruiz after upsetting Joshua over the weekend -- saying, "You’ve been blessed to come out of the struggle and to become the 1st Mexican Heavyweight Champion Ever!"

"P.S It’s all up to you in what you do with this huge opportunity."

As for Drake, Joshua famously posed with the rapper before the Ruiz fight -- and then lost -- reinforcing the belief that Drake curses athletes!

So, when we asked Ruiz about it, he told us bluntly, "Don't even bring Drake around me!"

There's more ... Ruiz also talked about his diet, workout routine and that epic post-victory meal after the Joshua fight -- which sounds AWESOME!!

John Singleton will get a fitting tribute on his last big project ... and it was no small feat to pull it off.

"Snowfall" -- the FX series Singleton co-created that chronicles L.A.'s crack epidemic in the '80s -- did an entire rewrite of the upcoming third season's finale to incorporate a young John character into the story ... based on his pre-"Boyz n the Hood" days.

Sources close to production tell us everyone involved really wanted to honor him this way, and worked very hard with little time to make it happen.

There's more -- we're told Singleton's 1-year-old son, Seven, will make a cameo in episode 10 as well ... which would have made his father ecstatic.

Our sources say John always had his boy on set and expressed his wish to eventually have him appear on "Snowfall" ... so producers checked that off the list too.

Little Seven spent some time with the show's stars between takes, and you can see ... he definitely upped the cuteness factor of the gritty drama.

As we reported ... Singleton died in April almost 2 weeks after suffering a stroke. He was 51.

Season 3 of "Snowfall" premieres July 10, so we're told the finale featuring the young John character and the appearance of John's son will air September 11.

Linda Fairstein's presence on a nonprofit's board shocked some members of the org, but long before she resigned ... there were some who wanted her booted because they knew about her history with the Central Park 5 case.

TMZ spoke with a handful of former and current members of Safe Horizon -- the New York-based org that helps victims of abuse and violent crimes -- and they said Linda's position on the board of directors was known to be heavily criticized by many staffers.

We're told the disapproval dates back to at least 2016.

We're told a number of staffers had complained, and even went through proper channels all the way up to the CEO, only to be ignored time and time again.

The main gripe was Fairstein didn't represent Safe Horizon's values -- specifically, assisting abuse victims who are predominantly people of color. They felt her role in the CP5 case could undermine their work and image.

Remember, Fairstein was one of the lead investigators for the prosecution on the 1989 case. She's long been criticized for allegedly coercing false confessions out of the 5 boys ... leading to their convictions. That's a central plot in the Netflix series, "When They See Us."

Although they were exonerated by DNA evidence in 2002 ... Linda, to this day, maintains they did it.

We're told another issue for Safe Horizon staff was Linda's link to the Harvey Weinstein scandal when it broke in 2017. She was one of many high-level attorneys Weinstein met with through the years ... allegedly to influence the Manhattan D.A.'s Office -- where Fairstein used to work -- to drop sexual misconduct cases against him.

Sources close to Weinstein tell us he never retained Fairstein as an attorney and was simply asking his longtime friend for "off the record advice" on how to handle one particular allegation against him.

Again ... we're told their concerns of Safe Horizon employees fell on deaf ears.

"There's finally a talent where they can say they're better than me at."

Aaron Rodgers shaded the HELL out of his NFC North counterparts Tuesday ... congratulating them on being better beer chuggers than him -- by ripping their hearts out and eating it.

If ya missed it ... Rodgers couldn't slug down a beer at a Milwaukee Bucks game a few weeks ago -- and the Internet went crazy ripping the guy.

Some of those involved in the Rodgers trolling? Bears QB Mitch Trubisky and Lions QB Matt Stafford -- who both posted vids of them destroying some suds in response.

Well, Rodgers saw that ... and clapped right back at the QBs during his news conference this week, saying, "As far as those other guys, for some of them, there's finally a talent where they can say they're better than me at."

Of course, Rodgers has demolished both the Bears and the Lions in his career ... so no coming back for Stafford and Trubisky from here.

Barbara Corcoran, one of the "Shark Tank" big wigs, says she's got big plans for Jay-Z ... now that he's a freshly minted BILLIONAIRE!!! Just don't ask her about it more than once.

Barb was out Tuesday afternoon in NYC when our photog asked what she thought about Jay's accomplishment -- becoming the first rapper to reach a billion-dollar net worth. She did not knock the hustle ... telling us if anyone deserves it, it's him because of he's so hardworking.

Then, the next logical question -- how 'bout getting him on "Shark Tank"? Barbara tells us plainly ... why the hell not?! She even says she'll put in a good word for him for a future guest spot.

Considering Barbara's rep for a tough-love business mentality, it's no surprise she gave our guy the nunya-beeswax treatment when he tried to dig a little deeper on her recruiting process for Mr. Carter.

This break-dancin' kiddo went on to become one of the most recognizable comedians in the biz, having created and starred in THREE of his own shows ... one of which captures his childhood in New York state. Before that, he was on the stand-up circuit and eventually broke through with roles on "Chappelle's Show" and MTV's "Human Giant," while continuing to embark on comedy tours with the likes of Aziz Ansari and other big shots in the game.

Eventually, he came to be known for characters he created, like Ref Jeff, Bobby Bottleservice, Fabrice Fabrice and, of course, Gil Faizon of "The Oh, Hello Show" -- starring opposite of fellow comic John Mulaney.
