Will Smith surprised the Coachella crowd Friday night during week 2 of the festival by joining his son, Jaden, onstage ... and he did not disappoint. The crowd went nuts.

Will performed Jaden's hit song, "Icon" at the Sahara tent to a packed crowd. It's interesting ... you may recall, Will did a parody of the music video last year, which became a pretty big hit as well.

Willow also performed with Jaden, as Jada Pinkett Smith watched in the crowd with approval. Before jumping onstage, Will was next to Jada filming his son and daughter onstage.

Once up there, Will said, "This is my first time on the Coachella stage, ain't no way I'm going off like that. Run it one more time!"

Adele and her husband, Simon Konecki, just announced some shocking news ... they've separated after more than 7 years together.

The pop singer's reps announced the split Friday night in a statement to the Associated Press ... saying, "Adele and her partner have separated. They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment."

The last time we saw Adele and Simon together in public was back in January when they were photographed arriving backstage at an Elton John concert at Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles.

Pharrell Williams is making a difference on Good Friday, heading down to L.A.'s Skid Row to help out some folks who are less fortunate than him ... filling up bellies and putting smiles on people's faces.

Pharrell and his son, Rocket, spent part of their day serving up meals at the Los Angeles Mission ... spreading messages of hope and love making sure everyone got a hot meal ahead of Easter Sunday.

The Good Friday meal is an annual tradition on Skid Row. In addition to hot meals, the homeless get shoes and Easter baskets. This year, roughly 4,000 people were fed pork with an apple glaze, King's Hawaiian rolls, a side of mac and cheese and peach crisp for dessert.

Pharrell makes sure to volunteer at the L.A. Mission a few times a year ... he also lent a helping hand during Thanksgiving.

Olivia Jade's plans for higher education might be on hold ... but it doesn't look like she's sweating it.

Lori Loughlin's younger daughter was hanging at the home of YouTube star David Dobrik Thursday night in Studio City, CA ... with a big smile as some kitchen shenanigans were going down.

We're told Olivia was there with some of her fellow internet celebs, having a good ol' time, but being careful ... asking the group to make it a cellphone-free zone.

Clearly, that didn't happen ... another YouTuber, Heath Hussar, took some vids to chronicle the evening.

Olivia can't be too mad ... these are her peeps and this is what they do. You'll recall ... she has nearly 2 million YT subscribers herself, along with 1.4 million Instagram followers, and made it known she was much more interested in being a famous internet personality than a USC student.

The irony, of course, is that Olivia's parents are facing serious charges and jail time for allegedly bribing her way into college ... and now she's immersing herself back in the world she always wanted to be in anyway.

The people there don't seem to have any problems being associated with her, either ... college bribery scandal be damned.

Kobe Bryant is setting the record straight on that old footage of his 1-on-1 game with Beyonce's dad ... saying he totally CRUSHED the guy ... and didn't let him score another basket!!

The 20-year-old footage surfaced last week ... showing Kobe and Mathew Knowles playing a quick pickup game on the set of Destiny's Child's "Bug a Boo" video shoot ... with MK scoring an easy layup on the Laker legend.

Mamba is finally addressing the highlight ... making it clear that even though the move was nice, he LET Knowles score ... and then he started playing forreal.

In natural Kobe fashion, Bryant wants people to know he ended up coming out on top ... even if the footage makes it look like he lost to a dude who didn't play a lick in the NBA (although Knowles hooped in college).

Kobe cops to trash-talkin' with Knowles ... and says agreed to hoop with Mathew after he mentioned playing at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

We also talked to Knowles about the viral footage ... and he wants another shot at Kobe, saying he'll "kick your ass" again!!

If Kourtney Kardashian turned 40 you wouldn't know it based on her never-aging looks ... but the big giveaway was her HUGE birthday bash populated by her famous friends.

Kourtney celebrated the big 4-0 Thursday night in L.A. in one of the most epic celebrations ever, or at least this month. Kim, Khloe, Kris Jenner, Kylie and Kendall were all there ... as was Kanye and TONS of other celebs ... including French Montana, Paris Hilton and Larsa Pippen. Even her ex, Younes Bendjima, was partying it up.

A bunch of Kourtney's friends also shared some of their best memories of her:

No expense was spared for the swanky shindig ... the Don Julio 1942 bottles were flowing as were the inside jokes inscribed on napkins. If you're a huge fan of "Keeping up with the Kardashians," you know what's up. But, here's what takes the cake ... the damn cake itself!!! It's a massive desert showing off Kourtney's very own cakes.

Robin Thicke and Sia sang Kourtney "Happy Birthday" and a great time was had by all.

So THIS might be what John Legend meant when he sang, "We're just ordinary people" -- 'cause without Chrissy Teigen, some photogs kinda treated him like a normie.

Kinda ridic when ya think about it ... the Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony award winner was leaving Madeo Thursday night in Bev Hills, and the first question he got -- WHERE'S CHRISSY?!?!

Ya gotta watch the vid ... John's response is hilarious as a throng of paps are immediately deflated. It is true ... we're used to seeing the couple together -- almost always -- so forgive us, John for expecting to see your better half.

Luckily, he wasn't offended, and still shared his thoughts on Donald Trump and the release of the Mueller report.

The folks at Ancestry.com are either playing dumb, or they're admitting they actually are -- after pulling an advertisement that made the aftermath of slavery look like a romance novel.

If you haven't seen it, it's pretty shocking. The spot seems to be set in the Antebellum South, showing a white guy trying to convince a black woman to escape to the North ... "a place where we can be together, across the border."

He's holding up a wedding ring as he makes his plea to her -- but before she answers the screen cuts to black and the type, "Without you, the story stops here" comes up.

The ad was targeting Ancestry customers in Canada -- hence, the reference to "the border" -- but since it was online people around the world had a pretty swift, angry response.

Users called out the company for creating a "damn slavery love story" ... which obfuscates the real reason many black people in North America find white ancestors in their family trees -- slave RAPE.

Ancestry told CBS News, "Ancestry is committed to telling important stories from history. This ad was intended to represent one of those stories. We very much appreciate the feedback we have received and apologize for any offense that the ad may have caused."

Jason Biggs and Jenny Mollen's 5-year-old son, Sid, is recovering from a broken skull, which Jenny admits happened because she dropped him last weekend.

Jenny made the revelation Wednesday, saying ... "On Saturday evening I dropped my son on his head causing him to fracture his skull and landing him in the ICU." She added, Sid is home now and "recovering nicely."

As for why she decided to tell the world ... "My heart goes out to all parents who have or will ever find themselves in this kind of position. You are not alone."

This is kind of Jenny's thing -- she's pretty open about the ups and downs of parenthood. Back in November, she revealed their 1-year-old, Lazlo, was bitten by a dog.

Despite the seriousness of Sid's injury ... Jenny cracked a bit of humor in her post. After thanking all the nurses, doctors, cafeteria staff and janitors at the NYC hospital where he was treated -- as well as Jason -- she said, "Not sure how this post turned into an Oscars acceptance speech."

Steve-O is hopping aboard the podcast game ... literally, with a traveling studio.

We got Steve-O out Wednesday at LAX and dude couldn't resist showing off his new toy ... a commercial van equipped with mics, cameras and even a mini-fridge as he looks to get his new podcast up and running.

Check out the clip ... Steve-O's hosting game is on point ... for starters, he helps quench our parched photog's thirst. Steve-O then gives our guy a tour -- he says the mobile setup is his way of rising above all the competition, 'cause there are so many podcasts out there.

Seems with some counseling from his dad, Ted, and a little help from his trusted dog, Wendy ... Steve-O plans to separate himself from the pack. He wants to get some activities in the mix too, and as we know ... hangin' with Steve-O is NEVER boring.

Kim Kardashian has her first job offer in the legal world, and it comes from one of the famed attorneys who worked closely with her dad on O.J. Simpson's dream team.

Robert Shapiro, who defended O.J. alongside Robert Kardashian, tells us Kim has what it takes to become a sensational lawyer. And, once she passes the bar ... the door's open for her at his law firm.

Shapiro was leaving E Baldi restaurant in Beverly Hills Wednesday when he broke it down for us ... he says Kim's already done incredible work with no experience, so the sky's the limit now that she's seriously practicing law.

He makes it clear she has a long, difficult road ahead of her and there's a high chance of failure ... but Robert believes she'll pull through.

In fact, Shapiro says it won't take much for her to surpass her father's lawyerin' skills -- a not-so-subtle dig at how much Kardashian actually contributed, strategy-wise, to Simpson's defense.

As we reported ... Kim's been studying hard for the baby bar exam and was hitting the books earlier this week for a torts essay with attorneys Jessica Jackson and Erin Haney, with whom she's apprenticing.

She says she aced it, by the way ... and don't count Shapiro among the doubters.

58-year-old Iran Barkley -- Saquon Barkley's famous boxing uncle -- says he ain't done in the ring yet ... 'cause he's telling TMZ Sports he wants one last fight ... WITH DEONTAY WILDER!!

"I want to fight the heavyweight champ of the world," Iran says ... "I'm looking for that."

If you're unfamiliar ... Iran was actually a world champion boxer back in the day -- with 2 victories over Tommy Hearns and a near win over Roberto Duran on his 43-19-1 resume.

But, even though the guy hasn't fought since 1999 ... he says he ain't ready to hang up his gloves yet -- 'cause he wants one last fight with Wilder!!

Oh, and he says he'll win that, too, telling Wilder, "I bet I knock you out!!!"

By the way, Iran is Saquon's great-uncle, and Saquon's credited him in the past as a big reason why he's become one of the NFL's toughest running backs.

Which only means one thing ... better watch out for Saquon's high-school-aged little bro in a couple of years!!!

Nipsey Hussle was in the middle of some big plans to give back to his Crenshaw neighborhood with his own foundation ... and now that baton is being passed to his relatives.

Sources close to Nip's family tell TMZ ... he was in the process of creating a foundation designed to improve the quality of life in his community -- primarily for young people -- and he started laying the groundwork long before his murder.

Nipsey's vision for his foundation looked something like this: Working with schools to rebuild playgrounds, helping improve public parks in Crenshaw and moving forward with STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) programs for students.

Turns out, Nip had already started some of this work. L.A. City Councilman Marqueece Harris-Dawson tells TMZ, the rapper donated shoes to kids at 59th Street Elementary, and also repaved the basketball courts there.

We're told Nipsey had a total of 14 businesses, but his family is making the foundation their top priority. One of the first things they'll be addressing is naming the foundation.

As you know, Nipsey loved giving back to his community ... he opened his Marathon Clothing store at the intersection of Slauson and Crenshaw, seeing an opportunity to invest in his hood and give people jobs.

Plus, he was heavily involved in Destination Crenshaw -- a beautification project to turn a 1.3 mile stretch of Crenshaw Blvd. into an open-air art museum. We're told his family intends to keep contributing to that project.

As we reported ... Nipsey also had a meeting scheduled -- sadly, the day after his murder -- with L.A. Police Commissioner Steve Soboroff to help prevent gang violence.

Ivanka Trump's doing her best to blend in with locals in Ethiopia, and that means busting out her best dance moves -- and, so far, the locals seem impressed! Or, maybe they're just being polite.

Ivanka touched down in the East African nation Monday and during a reception, she didn't hesitate to get loose on the floor -- putting her hips, shoulders and arms into it as she danced with one energetic guy -- and, at least, seemed to be having a great time.

President Trump's senior adviser, and daughter, is on a 4-day trip to Africa -- hitting Ivory Coast as well as Ethiopia -- to promote a global women's project for economic development. While the trip got off to a fun start ...you gotta wonder if her father's infamous words will come up at some point.

You'll recall, the Prez once used the term "shithole countries" to describe African nations.

Not many people know what it's like to balance parenthood with global mega-fame -- but Tiger Woods and Justin Timberlake do ... and JT says it's brought them closer together.

In fact, Timberlake just wrote about his friendship with Tiger for Time Magazine -- explaining how the two got to spend some time together last year and really bonded by "talking about being fathers."

Tiger has two kids -- 10 and 11 -- and JT has a 4-year-old son.

"We bonded over the fact that we wanted our children to watch us at our best," Timberlake wrote ... noting that his 4-year-old has just "started to realize what I do."

The coolest part of Justin's story -- Timberlake says in 2018 Tiger told him one of his biggest life goals was to win a major in front of his kids.

Fast forward to April 14 in Augusta ... Tiger wins The Masters and his kids are RIGHT THERE to give him a big 'ol hug.

Timberlake says he couldn't have been happier for his friend -- "What a dream come true."

"All the work he did when people weren't watching allowed him to hug his children on that same hallowed ground he hugged his father 22 years ago, amid all the adulation, a Masters champion once again."

Justin and Tiger have known each other for years and have golfed together a bunch of times.

Tiger has gone on the record praising JT's golf game -- saying the guy has a "beautiful swing" ... but needs to work on his short game if he REALLY wants to get to the next level.

1:20 PM PT -- Reports that Kevin Hunter has been fired are not accurate. He has not been fired, but as we reported, it's just a matter of time. He WILL be gone from the show ... but it hasn't happened yet.

Wendy Williams' estranged husband will not be an executive producer on the show for long ... production sources tell TMZ.

Our sources say the deal-breaker for Kevin Hunter is not about his duties on the show ... it's about Wendy's mental and physical health. We're told she's doing great now, but our sources say it's apparent Kevin's presence on the set causes her stress.

Case in point ... a week ago there was a major blowup on the set between Wendy and Kevin. We're told security had to step in between them and Kevin was temporarily removed from the area. And, our sources say there have been several other blowups as well.

We're told Wendy and Kevin are close to reaching "an accord" whereby he'd step down as executive producer.

As for Kevin -- who allegedly just fathered a baby with his mistress -- he released a statement Tuesday, saying, "I am not proud of my recent actions and take full accountability and apologize to my wife, my family and her amazing fans."

Kevin goes on to say ... "I am going through a time of self-reflection and am trying to right some wrongs."

Wendy filed for divorce last week and on her show Monday said she was focused on the future, saying, "I have a whole new life that I planned for myself and my son."
