'Real Housewives of New York City' star Erin Lichy is being dragged to court over a debt ... her landlord claims she and her husband owe five figures in unpaid rent, plus interest.

According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Erin and her husband, Abraham Lichy, owe $43,950 in unpaid rent for their Big Apple loft.

The landlord says Erin and Abraham have rented their two-story apartment since July 2019 but claims the couple failed to pay the agreed rent and other charges between October 2021 and July 2023 ... racking up a substantial balance.

Erin and Abraham's landlord claims their lease called for them to pay a monthly rent of $13,500 -- due on the first of each month -- for the period in question, but they often paid late, didn't pay late fees, bounced checks and sometimes didn't pay rent at all.

Now, the landlord is going after the Lichys for $43,950 plus interest ... in addition to $12,900 to cover the landlord's legal fees in the case.

We're told the reason two months of rent was being withheld was due to an agreed upon abatement ... due to persistent rodents, unsanitary issues and a nonfunctioning elevator which lasted for several months.

Erin and Abraham are stunned by the lawsuit, because they tell TMZ ... the landlord wrote a glowing letter of recommendation for them when they moved out.

Britney Spears' kids are on her mind as the calendar turns to 2024 -- but one of her sons, Jayden, is focused on making the most of his first holiday living in Hawaii.

The 17-year-old was joined by his GF as he hit the beach Monday in Hawaii ... after moving there last year with his older bro, Sean Preston, and their dad, Kevin Federline -- who was also snapped at the sandy outing.

Jayden looked happy and relaxed with his girlfriend ... the pair frolicked in the water, built sand castles and topped up their tans on lounge chairs.

The GF fit in seamlessly with the rest of his family ... as K-Fed was joined by his wife, Victoria Prince, and their other kids.

From a distance, it seemed like a picture-perfect family outing ... though Jayden's mom, Britney, was, of course, absent ... as they've been estranged for at least 2 years now.

The time apart was clearly making the singer nostalgic as she welcomed the new year by posting a couple of throwback snaps of her sons ... who previously made it clear they don't want a relationship with her, for now, at least.

Things between them went from bad to worse when Brit blasted the teens, calling them ungrateful freeloaders.

However, her new post seems like she's ready to extend an olive branch for a reunion.

Brooke Hogan's nuptials were under wraps for 1 1/2 years ... and just days after we broke the happy news, she's telling us why she waited so long to reveal she's a married woman.

We got Brooke on "TMZ Live" Tuesday ... where she says she delayed announcing her marriage to ice hockey player Steven Oleksy on June 8, 2022, 'cause she was never a big fame person -- despite her family's reality TV background and her music career.

She says she wanted to ensure she was with the right person and marrying her soulmate.

She says she asked her family and friends to respect their decision to keep it hush-hush -- and they happily obliged.

We broke the news of her marriage first ... with a stunning first-look image of the pair shortly after being pronounced husband and wife.

They met through mutual friends ... and it was just the 2 of them during their wedding ceremony in Orlando, FL. Steven's fam finally celebrated with them during a reception party last month.

Forest Whitaker's ex-wife, Keisha Nash Whitaker, died from alcoholic liver disease ... TMZ has learned.

We obtained Keisha's certificate of death -- issued by L.A. County -- and the document says Keisha suffered from the disease for years before it ultimately killed her.

The certificate also says acute renal failure -- a symptom of anorexia -- was another significant factor contributing to her death.

TMZ broke the story ... Keisha died last month, and the death certificate shows she was at Northridge Hospital Medical Center in L.A. County when she passed.

Keisha was married to Forest for more than 20 years before he filed for divorce in 2018 ... and they had 3 daughters together.

She worked in Hollywood as a model, and her death certificate makes note of her career ... saying she worked 15 years in the modeling industry.

Keisha met Forest on the set of the 1994 film, "Blown Away," and the couple tied the knot years later ... in 1996.

She was only 51 at the time of her death.

The woman who went nips out for some beads during ESPN's Sugar Bowl broadcast is being offered a deal more eye-opening than the viral clip ... with an adult company willing to shell out up to $100k to get her to perform an encore on its platform.

The folks over at Camsoda laid out the terms of the proposition on Tuesday ... saying it's trying like hell to track down the Bourbon Street patron who exposed her boob during the TV broadcast of Monday night's game between the Washington Huskies and Texas Longhorns.

If CS is able to get a hold of her, the site says it would like to invite her to do a live one-hour webcam show next week ... and they are ready to drop some serious coin for her time.

New footage of Ian Ziering's battle with bikers on Hollywood Blvd shows the extensive damage to his car's windshield ... and new details from the scene make it all the more terrifying.

In new video obtained by TMZ, bikers violently kick and pound their helmets on Ian's car ... and we're told his 10-year-old daughter, Penna, was alone inside the vehicle at that very moment.

While bikers attacked the car with Penna inside, we're told Ian was on the other side of the street fighting off other bikers.

These new details validate just how terrified Penna must've been ... with a previous clip from the aftermath showing Ian consoling the weeping youngster after the bikers fled.

TMZ broke the story ... the frightening confrontation ignited when Ian's car was hit by bikers who were weaving in and out of traffic.

Other footage shows Ian exchanging punches with one of the bikers before getting jumped by others in the violent brawl.

Take off the tinfoil hats, folks -- Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's romance is NOT a publicity stunt ... this according to the Kansas City Chiefs superstar's managers, who claim the relationship was never part of their "plan" to make him famous.

Of course, there has been speculation surrounding Tayvis ever since the pop superstar started showing up to Kelce's games earlier this season ... with many questioning if the coupling was actually all for clout.

Andre and Aaron Eanes -- who handle Kelce's business affairs -- did an interview with the New York Times about their client skyrocketing to fame over the past year ... and they say they've always had their sights set on getting the two-time Super Bowl champ bigger than the average athlete.

According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, Lucci has the greenlight to get a haircut and shave ahead of his trial ... and it seems like he'll be rocking a new suit too. The judge also granted him a contact visit, so a tailor could get his proper measurements.

Lucci's been locked up since the top of 2021 on murder charges, and his road to redemption hasn't been a cakewalk -- just ask his legal counsel.

TMZ Hip Hop broke the story ... Lucci claims he was stabbed by a fellow inmate in February 2022, but he has been unsuccessful in attempting to bond out of jail ahead of the trial.

Bachelor Nation's track record of successful couples continues to dwindle ... with 'Bachelorette' star Rachel Lindsay's husband Bryan Abasolo pulling the plug on their marriage.

Bryan beelined it to court Tuesday and filed for divorce after 4 years of marriage ... according to new legal docs obtained by TMZ.

In the docs, Bryan lists their date of separation as Dec. 31, 2023 ... and he's citing the boilerplate "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their split.

Bryan, a chiropractor, is requesting spousal support. They did not have any children together.

Rachel's estranged husband also shared an official statement Tuesday ... saying "loving himself and his partner meant he had to let go and start anew."

The pair fell for each other on season 13 of "The Bachelorette" in 2017 ... when Rachel made history as the first Black person to lead an ABC reality dating show.

1:50 PM PT -- Harvard University announced that they've appointed Alan Garber as the new interim president.

Claudine Gay is stepping down as Harvard President after waffling on the issues of Jewish genocide and antisemitism, and being dogged by allegations of plagiarism.

Gay plans to resign Tuesday afternoon, according to the Harvard Crimson -- the university's student-run publication -- which cites a "source with knowledge of the decision."

Gay's resignation ends her Harvard presidency after just 6 months and 2 days ... the shortest in the Ivy League school's history.

Remember, Gay was among the university presidents who testified on Capitol Hill last month and refused to answer a yes or no question about whether "calling for the genocide of Jews" violated Harvard's rules.

The ensuing controversy already lead to former University of Pennsylvania president Liz Magill's resignation ... and now Gay is following suit.

In addition to her controversial congressional testimony, Gay also faced several allegations of plagiarism in her work as a scholar.

Gay's resignation comes just 3 weeks after the Harvard Corporation unequivocally said it was backing her. Apparently, Harvard's head honchos had a change of heart.

It's unclear who will replace Gay as Harvard's president.

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are really feeling the love now -- this video of them kissing to ring in the New Year also shows him saying "I love you" to her ... in the view of Swifties, that is.

The landmark investigation involves a group of avatars allegedly raping a young girl's avatar in the Metaverse ... in what is believed to be the first probe of its kind, according to the Daily Mail.

The alleged victim is said to be a girl under the age of 16 who was wearing a virtual reality headset while playing an immersive game using her avatar -- a digital character.

Cops in the United Kingdom told the outlet the alleged victim did not suffer any physical injuries but she may have suffered psychological and emotional trauma similar to rape victims.

There's a backlog of real-life rape cases in the UK and some folks across the pond are being critical of this virtual gang rape investigation ... viewing it as a waste of time and police resources.

Mama June scored a legal victory in her custody battle over Anna "Chickadee" Cardwell's oldest daughter ... she's been awarded temporary custody of Kaitlyn.

The reality TV star is duking it out in court with Michael Cardwell for custody of 11-year-old Kaitlyn, and a judge just ruled she should be with her grandmother, at least until a future court hearing on the matter ... according to new legal docs.

Michael -- who did have a daughter, Kylee, with Anna -- is not Kaitlyn's biological father.

In the docs, obtained by TMZ, Mama June says Kaitlyn does not have a legal father, and her biological father is unknown.

Mama says she's been caring for Kaitlyn since Anna's death, and says Kaitlyn moved in with her a month before Anna died from cancer.

As we reported ... Michael filed legal docs last month seeking custody of Kaitlyn, claiming he's taken a parental role in her life over the years despite not being her biological dad.

While there's no battle over 8-year-old Kylee -- she's living with her father -- June's vowed to continue fighting Michael for custody of Kaitlyn ... and so far she's winning.

ESPN is apologizing for showing a woman drop top during its broadcast of the Sugar Bowl on Monday ... saying the NSFW footage should have never seen the light of day.

Football fans were left stunned after the network aired a clip from Bourbon Street while returning from a commercial break in the Washington Huskies vs. Texas Longhorns matchup ... which featured the lady's negotiation for a set of beads by exposing her breast as the camera made its way down the iconic area.

It's common for TV crews to show b-roll of the host city's landmarks during games ... and given the College Football Playoff contest between the No. 2 and 3 seeds was played at New Orleans' Superdome, Bourbon Street is an understandable choice.

But producers probably didn't take into account how things can get a bit raunchy around there ... which was made clear by the video that went viral shortly after it made its way to millions of viewers' screens.

ESPN is owning up to it all ... releasing a statement on the flub to the Associated Press.

"We regret that this happened and apologize that the video aired in the telecast," ESPN P.R. guy Bill Hofheimer said.
