Mario Batali Giving Up His Restaurants ... Following Sexual Assault Allegations

Published | Updated

Stick a fork in Mario Batali, he's done ... the celebrity chef is surrendering all of his restaurants in the wake of the various sexual assault allegations against him.

The Bastianich family and some of Mario's other partners bought out his stake in his eateries ... this according to The New York Times.

The sudden fire sale means Mario will no longer profit from his 16 remaining restaurants ... and he's also reportedly in the process of selling his shares in Eataly -- a fast-growing chain of Italian supermarkets.

We broke the story ... in January, NYPD closed two sexual assault cases against Mario without filing charges.

The NYPD probe started after a woman came forward on "60 Minutes" last May claiming Mario sexually assaulted her in 2005 at his Spotted Pig restaurant.

Another woman filed a police report in March 2017, claiming Batali raped her on Jan. 29, 2004 at his West Village eatery.

Soon after the allegations surfaced, several of the restaurants under his company closed their doors.

Batali confirmed the news to TMZ by saying, "I have reached an agreement with Joe (Bastianich) and no longer have any stake in the restaurants we built together. I wish him the best of luck in the future."

Tyga Time's Up to Pay Up ... Warrant Issued in Injured Fan Case

Published | Updated

1:39 PM PT -- A rep for Tyga tells TMZ, that, "Due to a last minute work obligation Tyga was traveling and was forced to miss his debtor's exam. The judge issued the bench warrant for the sole purpose of ensuring Tyga will sit for the next Debtor's exam."

Tyga's a wanted man after failing to appear for court in a case that goes back years ... because the judge has had enough.

According to new legal docs ... a bench warrant was issued for the rapper's arrest because he has yet to fork over the money he owes to a concertgoer who got injured at one of his shows more than 6 years ago, and missed a hearing to deal with it.

Tyga was allegedly served properly for an order to appear but didn't do it, so the judge wants him picked up and set his bail at $250k.

The warrant stems from his music company being sued years ago by Shyanne Riekena, who won judgment against it for injuries sustained when a light stand came crashing down on her, leaving a 4-inch gash on the top of her head.

Shyanne sued in 2015 and was awarded about $235k, but that amount swelled with interest to around $250k in 2017.

Apparently, Tyga still hasn't squared up and missed the hearing about his debt ... so now he's in more trouble. P.S., if this sounds familiar ... it's because the same thing went down in this case last year.

As we reported, Tyga's had other financial issues lately ... involving some repo men.

We reached out to him ... so far, no word back.

Young Dolph's got a lesson for ya in cutting losses and counting blessings -- 'cause he actually has some well-wishes for the punks who jacked a small fortune from his car.

The Memphis MC told us why he's isn't mad about the nearly $500k worth of goods he lost in the smash-and-grab heist last week. We saw him at LAX, and he couldn't have been more chill ... telling us, he's simply "too blessed and highly favored" to give a damn about material stuff.

Considering how much he lost, we wouldn't blame him if he was pissed -- but he genuinely seems at peace with it.

As we reported ... burglars smashed a window on his G-Wagon Friday while Dolph was in a restaurant. They made off with cash, electronics and jewelry ... including a $230k watch.

Dolph's already hatched a plan to rebound ... and it involves more spending. He also has a message for the suspects who are still at-large -- and it's a nice one!!!

'School of Rock' Star Allegedly Jacked Dad's Amps ... Battling Heroin Addiction

Published | Updated

"School of Rock" star Joey Gaydos Jr.'s alleged crime spree hit close to home, quite literally, because cops say he even stole from his father.

TMZ broke the story, Joey -- who played lead guitarist Zack in Jack Black's classic flick -- was busted 4 times in the last 5 weeks for stealing guitars and amplifiers, and he's facing felonies for larceny and grand theft.

But, we've now learned 2 amps he allegedly jacked belonged to his pops. According to the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office ... Joey's father called the police to report them missing and named his son as the perp.

Cops say Joey's father told them his kid had stolen from him in the past. He never reported it until now because he thinks Joey's now stealing to support an addiction to heroin.

According to cops ... Joey fessed up to stealing and pawning the amps worth $2,100 -- and also told them he wanted to make amends and get treatment.

CALM IN CUFFS

TMZ Sports has obtained footage of Adam "Pacman" Jones being arrested at an Indiana casino -- footage the NFL star believes will prove officials overreacted that day.

The footage was shot by Pacman's wife around 3 AM on Feb. 27 -- after he had been placed in handcuffs at the Rising Star Casino Resort.

Authorities accused Pacman of cheating at a table game -- but in the footage, you can see the NFL star adamantly denying the allegations ... and demanding cops let him go.

"Who said I was cheating?" Jones says ... "Let the handcuffs go!"

The footage appears to be shot in the bowels of the casino after Jones had been removed from the gaming area. There are two officers attempting to walk him to another section in the building.

As we previously reported, authorities say Jones was adding chips to his stack after he knew the outcomes of the games ... which is obviously illegal.

Officials say the former Cincinnati Bengals star got aggressive -- cussing out law enforcement and threatening to kill one of the responding law enforcement agents.

Jones believes the video will show he was NOT out of control but rather restrained considering he was being taken into custody in front of his wife and other people who recognized him.

During the video, you can hear Pacman's wife telling police that he had spent $20,000 at the casino that night -- and there's no reason he would have to cheat.

She can also be heard saying, "He didn't put his hands on nobody."

Both Pacman and his wife repeatedly tell cops they can say whatever they want because of "freedom of speech."

At one point during the incident, Pacman turns to one of the arresting officers and calls him a "bitch ass n***a."

We spoke with Pacman's agent, Peter Schaffer, who tells us, "Adam was very controlled. We think the authorities overreacted, they love the attention ... Adam showed great restraint."

Pacman was eventually taken to a nearby station where he was booked. He's since been hit with 8 criminal charges stemming from the incident ... though we've now learned he's pled not guilty and plans to fight the case.

Fabolous Strikes Plea Deal in DV Case, Avoids Jail

Published | Updated

Fabolous just struck a plea deal in his domestic violence case ... and he'll avoid jail time.

According to the Bergen County, NJ Court ... the rapper will enter a pretrial intervention program. This is generally offered to first-time offenders. Fab's attorney, Brian Neary, tells TMZ ... the charges will be dismissed as long as he completes the program and keeps his nose clean for a year.

Neary says Fab must give the court a status update once a month. He also doesn't need to take part in any therapy or anger management courses.

Huge ... considering Fab faced up to 20 years behind bars.

THE CONFRONTATION

TMZ broke the story ... a grand jury indicted Fabolous back in October 2018 on 1 count of domestic violence with significant bodily injury, 2 counts of threatening to kill and 1 count of possession of a weapon ... a pair of scissors.

The indictment stemmed from a physical altercation -- captured on video -- between Fabolous and Emily B, the mother of his 2 kids. That Fabolous scored a deal's not surprising ... considering Emily's father -- whom Fabolous also allegedly threatened -- patched things up a day after the incident.

Fabolous and Emily also remained together.

WHEN THE PRICE IS RIGHT

Sounds like Ricky Williams has sympathy for Robert Kraft in the wake of his prostitution scandal -- explaining simply, "Sometimes it's just better to pay for it, you know?"

The ex-NFL star weighed in on Kraft's scandal Tuesday during an appearance on the 'Domenick Nati Show' ... saying he understands why powerful people like Kraft pay for sex acts.

"I think people have different moral standards and judgments. But, from a purely ... I'll call it practical, maybe a little taboo ... sometimes it's just better to pay for it, you know?"

Ricky's not the only person who feels that way -- prostitution is legal in parts of Nevada and there's a brothel that's already reached out to Kraft in an effort to get him to bring his "business" to the Silver State.

Of course, Kraft is due back in court in Jupiter, Florida later this month to face 2 misdemeanor counts of soliciting another for prostitution. He faces up to a year in jail if convicted.

For his part, the Patriots owner has adamantly denied doing anything illegal.

Officials say they have video of Kraft going into the Orchids of Asia Day Spa on 2 occasions and receiving sex acts in exchange for money.

Kraft doesn't seem bothered by the allegations -- he went to a Beverly Hills party on the day after the charges were announced and flew back to Boston on a private jet with Tom Brady.

'School Of Rock' Star Caught on Video Stealing Guitar ... Faces 4 Felonies

Published | Updated

11:43 AM -- Police were onto Joey's sticky fingers in early February because they released security footage to the public ... showing him swipe a Buddy Guy model Fender Strat guitar.

030519_school_of_rock_kal 02/07/19
CAUGHT IN THE ACT

You can see Joey holding the guitar and casually strumming the guitar before allegedly making his way out the door February 7 at Troll Music store. After police released the footage, local music store owners were now on high alert.

Then, on February 11, Joey hit up Sarasota Sam Ash music store and workers recognized Joey. He sampled a few guitars before walking out with a $2k Les Paul.

But, this time Joey was followed out to his car and confronted. We're told a few customers blocked his car so he wouldn't escape before cops ultimately arrested him.

"School of Rock" star Joey Gaydos Jr. is rocking a seriously sad tune ... about stealing guitars, or at least about getting busted for jacking 'em.

Joey, who played lead guitarist Zack, in Jack Black's fictional school band, is facing felony charges in Florida for larceny and grand theft ... after cops busted him 4 times in the last 5 weeks for allegedly stealing guitars and an amplifier.

According to cops, Joey is making a bad habit of walking into stores, asking to test guitars, walking out with the instrument without paying ... and then unloading them at pawn shops.

Police say Joey's string of heists began early this year ... when he allegedly nabbed a blue Epiphone Prophecy Les Paul valued at $800, a black Fender Stratocaster worth $699, and a Gibson Les Paul gold top with a $1,900 price tag.

Zack Attack's got expensive taste!!!

Of course, every good electric guitar needs a kickass amp ... so naturally, he also got busted for stealing an amplifier.

According to cops, Joey confessed and blamed a drug problem. However, in court he entered not guilty pleas for the guitars. He's yet to give a plea in the amp case.

HARD TO MUTE MICHAEL

Michael Jackson's music really is a powerful thing, and you can tell from the look on Fat Joe's face when he even thinks about watching "Leaving Neverland."

We got Joe outside Spago in Bev Hills Monday night, and while he expressed his love for MJ, who he calls "the greatest ever" ... he admitted he hadn't seen the HBO documentary yet. But, he IS going to watch, and it's obvious he's going in with mixed emotions.

He agrees there should probably be another documentary telling Jackson's side. As for whether the King of Pop's music goes the way of R. Kelly -- Joe, at least, highly doubts it ... even after the disturbing allegations.

We also got Stevie Wonder at LAX, and he suggests it's time to leave Michael alone. For now, he's choosing to focus on MJ's music and his "legacy of inspiration."

Pacman Jones Casino Arrest Details ... 'I Will Kill You, Suck My D*ck'

Published | Updated

Pacman Jones cussed out multiple law enforcement officers during his Feb. 27 arrest at an Indiana casino while threatening one cop with death and inviting another to "suck my d*ck," this according to court docs obtained by TMZ Sports.

As we previously reported, the NFL star was arrested at 3:17 AM at the Rising Star Casino Resort following allegations that he was cheating at a table game.

Now, we've got the details ... and they're crazy.

First off, officials say Indiana Gaming Commission Enforcement agents responded to Jones after he was suspected of "capping bets" -- which is shop talk for adding more chips to a bet after you know the outcome of the game.

Jones didn't take kindly to the allegations -- telling multiple officials, "F*ck you" ... while moving his hands in a threatening manner and gesturing with his middle finger, according to the court docs.

During the altercation, IGCE agent Christopher Norton says Jones turned to another IGCE agent and told him, "I will kill you ... I will whoop your ass."

Norton says Jones continued to act in a threatening manner, so he subdued the NFL player and placed him in handcuffs. It was then Norton says he smelled booze emitting from Pacman.

While Jones was being taken to the gaming office, the NFL star allegedly continued to berate law enforcement officers ... saying, "F*ck you," "You ain't sh*t" and "You ain't nothing but a bitch."

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE ...

While the agents were handing Jones over to the Ohio County Sheriff's Dept., Jones managed to break out of custody and tried to make a run for it ... but he was ultimately subdued by officers.

After he was recaptured, Jones continued to cuss out the cops -- saying, "F*ck you," "Suck my d*ck" and "You're a bunch of crackers."

Another officer claims Jones also said, "Suck my d*ck, n***er."

The court docs show Jones was ultimately hit with 8 criminal charges including felony intimidation and felony battery against an officer.

The other charges, all misdemeanors, include cheating at gambling, resisting law enforcement and public intoxication.

Jones is due back in court later this month. Calls to Jones' rep have not been returned.

The incident is similar to a 2017 arrest at a Hyatt hotel -- when Jones was captured on video telling an officer to "suck my d*ck" and "I hope you die."

PACMAN GOES OFF

Jones has played in the NFL for 14 years -- most recently, he played with the Denver Broncos. He played 7 games with the team in 2018 before being released in November.

Before that, he had a run with the Tennessee Titans, Dallas Cowboys and Cincinnati Bengals. He was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2015.

Jones has reportedly made close to $40 million during his NFL career.

The arrest warrant was based on the word of the accuser."

Boxing star Gervonta Davis is a wanted man in Virginia ... law enforcement tells TMZ Sports a warrant has been issued for his arrest over allegations he assaulted a man at a high-end mall.

We broke the story ... Davis -- Floyd Mayweather's top protege -- was at a fancy shopping mall in Virginia on February 17 when he got into it with another man at an ATM machine.

Cops say Davis assaulted the guy ... and when officers arrived at the scene to investigate -- Davis "directed derogatory and offensive language at the officers in a public setting."

In fact, one witness tells us he watched Gervonta shove one of the officers while screaming obscenities ... while his friends were desperately trying to restrain him.

After an investigation, cops tell us a warrant for Davis' arrest on one misdemeanor count of assault has been issued.

The charge carries a maximum penalty of 1 year in jail and a $2,500 fine.

Per a Fairfax County Police Department spokesperson ... multiple attempts to reach Gervonta to inform him of his warrant have been unsuccessful.

In other words, if you're reading this, Gervonta -- CALL THE POLICE!!

21 Savage Gets Something Off His Chest ... I Got 'Nothing to Lose'

Published | Updated

It appears ICE has chosen the wrong dude to mess with, because 21 Savage is making it clear -- he's got nothing to lose.

21 was spotted leaving a meeting Monday in L.A. and his hoodie read, "nothing to lose." Unclear if the message speaks to his current legal situation -- the rapper is facing deportation -- or if he just liked the look.

What's more ... the hoodie is from Topman -- a UK based company -- where we recently learned 21 was born.

As we reported ... 21 Savage is in the clear on a previous felony warrant but is dealing with much bigger problems on his plate, like battling Trump's administration and its immigration policies.

Savage is free on bail pending a deportation hearing. And, it looks like the man means business. But, we knew that already.

NFL's Chad Kelly Pleads Not Guilty In Vacuum Cleaner Beatdown Case

Published | Updated

This is gonna be interesting ...

Ex-Broncos QB Chad Kelly pled NOT GUILTY to felony criminal trespassing stemming from allegations he broke into a Colorado home after Von Miller's Halloween party ... only to be chased out by a person beating him with a vacuum cleaner tube.

The 24-year-old appeared in court in Arapahoe County, Colorado on Monday to enter the plea. This is a huge deal for Kelly -- because if convicted, he faces up to 3 years in prison and a $100,000 fine.

The trouble for Kelly started after he left Von Miller's Halloween party on October 22 ... and allegedly wandered into a nearby home.

Cops say Kelly broke into the home around 1:17 AM and sat down on the couch next to a woman who was holding her baby. Kelly was allegedly mumbling incoherently at the time.

Police say someone in the home chased Kelly out while striking him with a tube from a vacuum cleaner. He was ultimately arrested for felony criminal trespassing.

Broncos GM John Elway was clearly pissed about the whole ordeal ... and cut the 24-year-old QB just hours after the arrest.

Elway and the team said in a statement, "Even though Chad's no longer part of our team, we've offered to help him however we can and are supportive of him in every way possible."

Kelly is due back in court in April.

Rob Kardashian & Blac Chyna We Can Work It Out!!! Talking Again About Dream

Published | Updated

Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna weren't faking it when they exchanged Twitter pleasantries -- the two are actively communicating and repairing their relationship ... for Dream's sake.

Sources close to the former couple say they underwent at least 7 mediation sessions together to iron out a deal for custody of Dream, and they've continued to be in direct contact about their daughter's care. Translation: for the first time in a LONG time Rob and Chyna are cordial.

We're told the goal is for Rob and Chyna to make face-to-face handoffs of Dream. Of course, they'll still have nannies standing by to assist sometimes.

As for the physical custody of Dream -- Rob will have her for the majority, but they'll be splitting holidays equally and finding ways to accommodate both parents' schedules.

We're told they came to an understanding, during mediation, that neither would bring a new significant other around Dream unless it was a long term, healthy relationship.

As we reported, Rob was previously forking over $20K per month in child support, but that number has been reduced.

Damon Dash I'll Face Music on Child Support Warrants ... But I Can Prove I Paid!!!

Published | Updated

Damon Dash says he's turning himself in to deal with outstanding warrants for failure to pay child support -- but tells us his exes are lying, and he's got proof.

The rap mogul tells TMZ ... he'll surrender to authorities in NYC nearly 3 years after a family court judge first signed a warrant for his arrest. Damon's accused of owing nearly $400k in support to Cindy Morales, mother of his son, Lucky -- and to his ex-wife, Rachel Roy, with whom he has daughters Ava and Tallulah.

Dame says the warrants are BS because he's given both women more than enough dough -- including $150k he gave Cindy for a home. He also claims Rachel draws her payments directly from his share of Rachel Roy Collection ... the clothing company they co-own.

As for why he's finally dealing with this -- Dash says the warrants prevent him from traveling back to NY, and he's just missing too many important events ... like family funerals.

He says he's even willing to sit in jail but definitely won't cop to any allegations he's not taking care of his 3 kids.

BTW, the child support isn't the only issue he's hot about -- Dame claims Rachel's pressing him to hand her majority ownership of their company. Watch the clip ... she might not want to hold her breath.
